Drive out the older, weaker original alpha male. Pee on the floor near all the entrances to scent mark. Maybe add your mother to your harem for a while.

Another commenter already said it best. You are already attractive. 100%. I'm not simping. You well and truly have nothing to be concerned about. People can become pretty deceived by negative self image. Some people even have body dysmorphia or obsessive-compulsive disorder. I bet you pick yourself apart on a regular basis just looking at yourself in the mirror. I, too, feel unlovable and weird and gross sometimes. I feel for you.

This seems a reasonable enough breakdown: https://legaljobs.io/blog/divorce-rate-in-america/ I cannot recomend marriage counseling to everyone strongly enough. I've been through some s$$$ with my wife. We've each given each other plenty of reason to pack it up and move on. But somehow, by God, we're keeping this thing togehter. And not the crap kind where you just give up and let the marriage happen to you. It's the kind where I still say, "You add things to my life that I wouldn't have without …

I predict you won't have to worry about this. You'll probably find someone reasonably high quality, grow weary of the constant battle to attract female attention, and buy her a ring. There are worse things that could happen.

Yep! What complicates that is that I consider myself to have Asperger's Syndrome. The main way that affects "just socializing" is... there are sharper peaks and valleys in the distribution of my personal interests. In other words, I find that I often have a somewhat harder time connecting with people randomly selected from the population. Shared interests play an important role in just "hanging out". The exact comments people find mildly interesting, funny, edearing -- the building blocks that m…

You talk a lot of sense. Question for ya... Having male friends will dramatically increase your success rate with casual and serious relationships with girls. This one is huge. What specific, actionable steps can we take to make friends? Right now, I don't have anyone I visit on a weekly basis, anyone who I can rely on to take an interest in my daily life, or anyone I routinely meet up with at social events. /u/revente Gets it. I can only add to that by saying that "ignore her" is probably how you internally experience healthy, well adjusted social behavior. A lot of guys in the community start out needy, desperate for approval, desperate for female attention. They need to dial that back a bit to avoid accidentally creeping women out by "being too needy". Dialing back the constant monitoring, constant validation seeking and just relaxing and having fun can feel like "ignoring her".

I think the issue is subtle and not one you've named. 5-6s are psychologically a little different than 8-9s. The more success you achieve with 5-6s, the more you condition yourself to be what 5s and 6s want. You aren't even getting feedback about your interaction with very attractive women. So I think the subtle complication to your plan is that you're conditioning yourself to fare no better than 5s and 6s. This isn't intended to be a proof that you've taken the wrong approach. Rather, it is som…

Beatings, self-administered or otherwise, do a pretty poor job of LONG-TERM motivation. People work TOWARD a goal, not away from misery. Tell us about the end goal, your highest self, your best life, the finish line. About the False Time Constraint. A common nagging concern people have when being approached is "What does this guy want, and when will he go away?" That can feel a bit stressful, not knowing whether someone is going to try to bore you to death in a misguided attempt to get in your pants. An FTC defuses this nagging feeling by clearly communicating why you're about to leave and just want their opinion about something. You are right that an FTC, by definition, is a lie. A lie of omission if not an…

If you have a certain life experience, it's possible to reach adulthood with an ingrained sense that "I'm weird, people don't like the real me, if I show up in this exchange I'll be attacked". This can happen from childhood bullying, unsupportive parents, other causes. If you find that you are such a person, then get therapy if that is available to you and/or explore the idea that: "maybe I DO matter, maybe people actually would want to see the real me, maybe I WON'T be attacked for showing up" …

I would look at it this way. The wrong number trick is a technique to detect fake numbers, and fake numbers are a product of a woman who is not actually interested. However, in putting in such an effort to meet up with you, she has more than proven her interest is genuine. Thus, the number trick is unnecessary.

However, I never hear about safety and STDs. Unpopular opinion: Some professional Pickup Artists don't bother to talk about safe sex or these kinds of issues because they don't really expect their customers to actually have sex. It's a subtle sign that they don't really think their advice is actually going to get someone laid. Believe it or not, STDs, babies, catching feelings are likely outcomes of having sex. Failure to plan here is planning to fail.

I've been where you are right now. It's painful. The remedy is to have *meaningful* contact with people. Talk about things you find important. Be heard. Do the same for others. There may be some other issues complicating doing this such as a deeply ingrained belief that people in general genuinely don't want to hear what is important to you. Shop around for a therapist who is able to understand what's going on and come up with advice that works. The others have reasonable tips about where to fin…

I'm willing to bet the majority of her previous partners were hyper-masculine, controlling, aggressive types, and I bet she actively chases away the nice guys (quite possibly without being consciously aware of doing so). I think if OP had very assertively put her back in her place, scolded her for leaving him in the theater, etc. she would find that very attractive. And I think he should friend zone her immediately and forever.

"Spark" is how she experiences attraction. Popular culture assumes there are mystical forces beyond the ability of us mortals to influence at play. You'll find that as you get better at flirting, as you learn to be more exciting when first getting to know someone, women will discover -- surprise! -- there is a "spark". I'd say it's not so much "not enough escalation" as "not enough attraction-building". Also, given how random the results are talking to individual strangers, I don't recommend pay…

My current goal is to reach a point were approaching a woman doesn't feel scary. This point never comes. However, after the 3rd approach or so, it stops feeling scary, temporarily. I look at the first three approaches as "warm ups" that don't matter at all. It's great that you are putting yourself out there and making approaches.

Why not tell us a bit about what you're thinking and doing that leads to your assessment "my focus seems to be relationships". Are you asking these women about their life goals and how many children they plan to have? Have you considered that you might not be sure what you're after? You kind of have to experience a hook up and experience a relationship to understand what you're really after. Live and learn. Earn something and then discover if it's actually what you want. I'll tell you one thing …

I had to smile when I read your description of what it's like to make smalltalk. I think we have some personality traits in common. All I can add, really, is that I think I know how anxious and sad you may feel, not being sure whether your relationship is in trouble. I feel for you.
/r/seduction13/10/14 01:29 AM

Yeah, women sure hate it when you make them the center of your life. I don't know much about how your relationship has gone, so I can't comment on whether your relationship is in trouble or what, if anything, you should be doing differently. It's really hard when you care a lot about a woman and she pretty much interprets that as you being a loser with nothing better to do. All I can do is recommend that you figure out something worthy to do with your life.

"I dont want to use you or anything." Sounds like she wants casual sex and doesn't want to be "responsible" for it. Women are strange and confusing because they're from Venus! If you get along and gradually escalate physically, you're on track. Don't worry about a thing.

Yeah, you've got to take your licks. Every major pickup guru I've heard talk about it says they still get approach anxiety. Mystery, Tyler Durden, people that have been doing approaches for more than a decade... I've had plenty of nights where I go out and I don't approach ANYONE, just stand around and watch other people have all the fun. And I'm a fucking rock star. :D If you have AA, it just means you need to do another warm-up. Doesn't mean anything more than that. "Don't quit."

Agreed. The "bros before hoes" rule does not apply to OP's situation. When one is successful with women, that will sometimes painfully draw attention to someone else's lack of success. That is no reason to stop living up to one's potential.

Excellent advice. That bit about flirting w/ one's significant other reminds me of something. I'm struck by the fact that when you get way past S3 (i.e. way past when you first have sex), you have to keep going back and doing it all over again. You need to keep demonstrating value, keep being attractive, keep strengthening comfort and connection. Women were made to be gamed. Rather, The Game was made for women.

That's two questions. I hear you asking me these two questions: 1) Am I being way too abrasive when I chat up women? 2) How do I boost my self-confidence? 1) I would need to see you talking to other people to give you my feedback. Your friends are in a good place to observe you first-hand. I strongly recommend asking them what they think! I can put this in simple terms that make sense to a High School male. Women are very different than men. One of the biggest differences is that if you have sex with her once and then leave, she will feel very sad. She is not the only person you will ever have sex with, so just don't bother. If you do it anyway, years later you will feel guilty once you understand what the experience was like for her.

I find women like a mix. A contradiction, to be more precise. Guys who aren't super tall and who have young, pretty boy features do well to act cocky, funny, very assertive. They think it's funny and fun. Big, hairy, muscle guys, on the other hand, do well to act poilte, mature, refined, considerate. I've many times seen women react very strongly to that kind of man who responds to a question with a, "Yes, ma'am," when a "Yeah" would suffice. So, whatever you are, add the opposite thing, and wom…

My take is that I think you're mourning the loss of your perception of women. It sounds like you're a loyal person and you're seeing how many people are disloyal. And you're seeing how little consequences there are for violating someone's trust. This is a dark thing. I think you're grieving. I've gone in direct on women and gotten pleasant surprise followed by "I have a boyfriend" followed by small talk. "Talk about what you're passionate about." Plenty of chick crack in that subject. They get to assess whether you're a sleazebag or a nice guy. I think you maybe surprised how many of them don't know that. Men are quick to misinterpret anything as a sign of interest. There are good evolutionary reasons for doing so. You go out and you run openers & routines and you do your corny PUA thing. And you directly confront your insecurities. With enough experiences like those, you have a moment where something snaps and you say, "fuck it." And then you relax around women.

...it's hilarious. I like to goad them into saying that routines wouldn't work on them. Then I run one and watch and laugh as the eat up every word. Then I share war stories about past experiences. Women usually find the heavy social analysis intriguing. And they want to be the one, special woman who's immune to it.
