I would advise against this opener. I understand that you want to build a funny vibe, but it only devaluates you and places her on a pedestal. It's superior to a simple hi, but there are so much better options. If I am not mistaken people here usually advised something like 'please be as interesting as you are on your pictures.' Though it might be dated in the states.

Probably I will go with this option. I have never heard that idea about using openers as jokes later on in the conversation. Solid advice. Thank you!

I am skeptical about canned openers as well. That's the very reason why I posted that question. Yes, I have heard a thousand times that I only have to say hi. I tried it, it did work, but why not spice up things once in a while? I am also familiar with the style of Sasha. I tried out this line exactly because it was recommended by Sasha. With that out of the way, there is the link: https://www.sashapua.com/how-to-approach-a-girl-2-of-3/

Thanks for your input. I expected something more constructive from a mod though.

If you could tell us what can you do in your town, that would be helpful. The general advice that I can give to you: Lead her. Don't ask whether she wants to grab a coffee, just say that you are going to café together. That way you take all responsibility and she can feel relaxed. Take her to low-pressure places. No movies, no dinner. I prefer starting with a coffee with her, since if either of us feels off we can excuse ourselves after a few minutes, but we can stay for hours too if the vibe is…

That is a really interesting point of view that I have never given too much thought. I tried to recall my impressions about the guys you have been talking about, but I can't remember ever despising them. Maybe that whenever I see a really slim guy in a wife beater, I find it funny. This might be connected to that resentment that you have been talking about. On the other hand, if I see a jacked guy in the same clothes, then I find it inspiring and I want to hit the gym asap. I think my answer to …

Mark Manson wrote something similar in Models. Your success with women depends on 3 factors (I think he calls them fundamentals): Developing a healthy and attractive lifestyle Overcoming your fears about being sexual and approaching Learning how to communicate with people. (=having game) Reading your post I feel that you never had trouble with approaching. During the years you achieved independence and you found some interesting hobbies. Lastly, this sub taught you the game. Considering all this…
