Putting in effort reduces those chances. Women typically put the entire romantic and sexual load of the relationship solely in the man. That gets old fast.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 12:43 PM

The only ones that could be attributed to men is 4 and 6. But 4 typically comes into play when women stop showing sexual interest in their partners. Men are typically fine with aging and changing bodies. I'd argue that women are incompatible with long term partnership when comparing lesbian divorce and gay men divorce rates. The big factor is women's lower libido in general
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 12:42 PM

Have you ever tried to keep a woman accountable for weight loss goals that she specifically asked for help with? They don't react well at all if you ask "did you get your steps in today?"
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/26 09:49 PM

Doesn't that also apply for lesbians too? Gay men seek out casual sex at much higher rates than lesbian women and orgasms the most too.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/26 05:54 PM

Nah. I think it's accountability. It's wanting people to correct their choices instead of complaining repeatedly about the same problem that's self imposed
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/26 12:40 PM

Yeah, I see certain groups do that with weight loss. It's like accountability and the truth is an insult to them
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/26 12:39 PM

You haven't been on the lesbian subs talking about how much harder it is to date women huh?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/26 12:09 AM

I think they're referring to the other side where single father households have better outcomes than single moms
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/26 12:08 AM

There's a reason lesbian Grindr doesn't exist
/r/PurplePillDebate16/07/26 01:00 PM

It's dumb when you complain repeatedly about the same solvable problem but do nothing to fix it. Many women treat venting like a solution, when solving the problem would be 10x better.

But would you consider it disgusting because someone else said they were? Would you then call them crazy for thinking that way? Women may not like to be sexualized and/or need to be contextual about it. Men are not that way. But based on the way this conversation has gone, would you think the person that thinks ankles are gross are a prude OR would you be convinced by them that you're disgusting and that ankles ARE disgusting?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/26 12:19 AM

I hear you. It's surprisingly rampant for people saying we're the same. But you also didn't answer my last question.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/26 12:12 AM

Your missing the point if you think that I think it will attract women. What I'm saying is that men and women are different despite how many people on Reddit can't grasp it. Men like ketchup, women like mustard. When people think each other are the same, they offer them what the other thinks they would want themselves. Hence, why I said gay men are fine with what you call disgusting. And also why men are ok to receive nudes from women. If people understood the difference, men wouldn't send them,…
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/26 12:08 AM
1

Lol I'm taking two extremes to establish a spectrum. In one culture, ankles are seen sexually. In another genitals. So "gross" is perspective from my pov
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 08:00 PM
1

Got it. That's reserved for the ladies. My bad smh lol
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 07:21 PM
1

I think you misread what I wrote. A gay man will hit on a straight man 3x as much as a straight woman would hit on the straight man. What women don't realize is that they could just show up nude and a man will want them. The opposite is the case for men. So what do you mean by entitlement?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 07:21 PM
1

Got it. So you're the judgement on what's right and wrong. Do you believe that showing ankles is dressing slutty too? That would be the thought logic in certain parts in the middle east. Just because you don't want to do it, doesn't make it particularly gross. You just don't like sex that much. Cool
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 06:30 PM
1

Yes!!! The group of men stereotyped for being more into fashion are visually aroused by men more than women. It's not the clothes that make that happen. They like men's nudes more than women do. They happily exchange dick pics. Lesbians wouldn't dare send vulva pics to each other if it was reversed
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 06:27 PM
1

Would you say gay men are perverted and gross? They exchange dick pics like greetings on Grindr and they're happy. Maybe men and women are different. Men are more visual, simple, and direct when it comes to arousal.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 04:44 PM

Why would you be with someone you're not attracted to?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 04:40 PM

Thank you for being reasonable
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 04:38 PM

Your first point is a leap. I'm saying men are erroneously doing things to get them complimented. IMO it's because of silly rhetoric like "men and women are the same". That makes men do things they think they would like and in turn, a woman would like. ETA: So you think women are putting in extra effort to get complimented? Cause that ain't even close to it. Gay men find straight men more attractive than straight women do. I think lesbians don't have an app like Grindr because women's arousal/at…

It's a euphemism. A product would be invisible to you if it was never marketed. That's why people make signs
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 03:01 PM
2

Idk. Charisma probably requires a lot more interaction than being hot. Hot has to not say the wrong thing and let the woman lead you to the bedroom. Charisma has to say the right things and lead her to the bedroom
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 02:26 PM
1

By that logic, women don't want to hear that they've got an amazing body, great ass, great whatever. They want to hear that they're accomplished, intelligent, etc. It's the opposite of the same coin. Men rarely get physical compliments and women get too many, so each side wants what they don't get.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 02:25 PM
1

They are invisible if the have to do something to garner sexual attention
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/26 02:21 PM
1

You must not realize how often men aren't complimented. Women are hesitant to do it, even in situations where men would find it appreciative. I also tell people that's why there's the nudes disconnect. Men send unsolicited dick pics because they want the validation and would enjoy receiving such pics if it were reversed (a lady sent vulva pics to test it out and was shocked by the responses). On the flip side, most women don't have to do anything to get complimented. There are plenty of women th…

What about the ones that say they go to bars/clubs to socialize with friends, not get approached?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 12:42 PM
1

Have you seen women say they're just out to hang with friends at these same "social events"? Might wanna get a pulse on things
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 12:41 PM
2

But men would find the woman sexy nude - even if she wasn't cooking. Men don't illicit that response in women if they're just nude. It's why Playgirl flopped. Despite how you think and because it's so rarely done, men would love to be ogled for who they are and not need to do something to be desirable. It's the same reason that men lament having to initiate things a majority of the time. Men want to be desired as is.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/26 06:34 PM
1

Nah, men are seen as utilitarian by women. It's why a pick of man chopping wood is sexier to woman than a dickpic. Men can't just "be" wanted. They have to "do" something. And I don't think gay men lamented about it as much as you think. Grindr wouldn't be so wildly successful while there's no equivalent for lesbians.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/26 05:25 PM
1

Maybe. The interesting thing is that gay men happily participate in the behavior of sexualizing/objectifying each other early and often. Yet lesbians are the polar opposite and afraid to make a move. I would think that lesbians would be more free to do so with each other if men are the problem. But I think it's more about the way each gender interprets things rather than the behavior itself.

https://metro.co.uk/2015/11/21/this-is-what-happened-when-a-woman-sent-men-unsolicited-vagina-pics-on-a-dating-app-5517405/ A picture doesn't physically force anyone to do anything. Men just like women and understand it as a compliment. Plus more are more visually aroused.

I think if a woman started leering at a guy and suggestively touched herself while looking at a guy, the guy would not be offended. It's the same concept with unsolicited nudes. A guy wouldn't be offended while most women would. A reporter tried doing it on dating apps and was shocked that it didn't phase the men one bit.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/26 02:47 AM
2

For most men, yes. The things that women would find offensive don't offend men For example, a man receiving an unsolicited nude from a woman isn't met with disgust in general.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/26 02:43 AM
3

I think it's because men rarely get attention themselves. For men, being seen as a sexy object is still good.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/26 02:42 AM

I assume you're depressed? How's your diet/exercise/sleep//lifestyle?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 04:42 PM

People shame men for their sexuality all the time. It doesn't stop them. Testosterone strongly influences all of this. That's why menopausal women that get testosterone get the spark back to orgasm. It would behoove women to take agency and communicate their needs more. Men get an ego boost pleasing their partners. Are you saying that if men did more, women would orgasm at the same rates men do? ETA: And again, unless that study adds the caveat of not including a toy/vibrator, I'd be curious if …
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 04:41 PM

I definitely don't think more women will have sex. I just think relationships will start with better foundations. Understanding the differences reduces headaches down the road. This should be common sense the way that people should understand how someone feels about having kids before getting married. Yet I see several posts where people don't broach the subject til after marriage.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 04:09 PM

There are more women than men that can't make themselves orgasm without a toy. Blaming men for a lack of orgasms is a bit lazy
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 10:22 AM

If that's the case, they might as well outsource the sex too
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 10:11 AM

That doesn't change how it works for the mass majority of women. Unless you think it's different, make the post like the commenter said
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 10:05 AM

It's rampant on this app for people to act like it's the same. I literally can't figure out why they hold this belief despite the overwhelming evidence.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 10:00 AM

Then why are they ever having sex in the first place?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 09:39 AM

The problem is I that with monogamy, they can't supplement it by getting it elsewhere. Otherwise, you wouldn't hear a peep about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 09:37 AM

If sex isn't that big of a deal, let him get it on the side. If you peek over at the lesbian subs, they seem to be just fine with a roommate based dead bedroom. Since that seems more "mature".
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 09:35 AM

It's so funny how women expect a guy to flirt with her ALL day. Meanwhile the woman can just undress and the guy is ready to go. Women's libido is like a souffle.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 09:34 AM

Exactly. It's like saying a credit score isn't an indicator on how someone will handle future debt. It may not be 100% accurate but it's damn sure gonna give you a good idea
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 09:32 AM

I love how people stop responding when they realize they're wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 09:30 AM

So what makes gay couples have more sex than lesbian couples? Do the lesbian couples have worse division of housework?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 09:27 AM

Definitely a "you" problem. Nothing let's off steam like an orgasm. Women talking about sex makes me want sex. Get your T checked
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 09:21 AM

Yeah. I'd think most people should expect a shift for about 6 months to a year. After that, a discussion should probably happen again if things aren't on the upswing.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 09:19 AM

What kind of men do you date? Are they fit/active?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 09:17 AM

Thank you for this post I think it should be stickied be somewhere. Seems like common sense to me and a foreign concept to so many women on this app.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 09:16 AM

I think "a while" would need to be defined too upfront. It would help everyone
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 09:15 AM
1

And the funny thing is that if the lack of attention goes on long enough, those women would start welcoming the unwanted sexual attention
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/26 10:27 AM
1

That's terrible. That makes women sound like NPCs/bots that have no intrinsic drive and only "do" something because of a 'user' interaction.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/26 09:12 PM

Fair enough, but responding to OPs post with your single data point is a bit strange to me. If someone said "men are generally taller than women" and you responded "well I'm 6'2 as a woman" it doesn't really affect the statement. I agree with your second point. A person that doesn't ask is selfish. But there are a lot of women that literally don't know what they want when you even ask them.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/26 04:25 PM

What I mean is, you're framing this as a man being lazy and incapable/lacking in making their partner orgasm. Considering that there are more women that have trouble reaching an orgasm through masturbation (without a toy) than men, it's not men's lack of effort to blame all the time. Many times women don't know how to get themselves to orgasm but expect someone else to.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/26 03:13 PM

Interesting how women typically still need a toy.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/26 02:28 PM

Lesbians have less sex than gay men and hetero couples. They're also more likely to suffer from a dead bedroom. I'd say that gap already exists without men involved. There's even a gap between men and women when it comes to successfully masturbating without a toy.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/26 02:27 PM

There's a significant gap in masturbating success between men and women when you eliminate the use of toys. Blaming men is lazy.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/26 02:25 PM
1

Maybe. A think a bigger study should look into the number of women that can orgasm while masturbating without the use of a toy/vibrator. I think there's a gap there between men and women and that cascades into partnered sex. So if women aren't as easily able to reach an orgasm on their own, it's probably just as difficult to reach with a partner.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/26 12:58 PM
1

Bingo
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/26 03:54 PM

If it was an equal amount, there would be a lot less strip clubs and OF models
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/26 12:16 PM
2

Even with the body, women don't like to come across too forward. They get self conscious about it unless it's a group of women for a bday/bachelorette party or something. Ask me how I know
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/26 05:59 PM
1

I agree. The funny thing is that I'm sure men would be happy to be a woman's object for pleasure.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/26 09:30 PM
1

And somehow people spin their wheels incessantly trying to say the opposite. If we said mammals need air, I'm sure someone on Reddit would say "not necessarily" smh.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/26 03:12 PM
1

Makes sense. Maybe it's HL vs LL thing. I'd think most men operate like you. Also 40 and also learned all the same things.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/26 05:46 AM
1

Men would rather those random women in a sundress are naked. I don't think the same applies to women. All day foreplay is mainly the idea of planting the seed of sex early and keeping it going throughout the day. Women's libido tends to work like a souffle and can be derailed by many things unlike men. Edit: derailed
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/26 04:49 AM
1

I didn't say it turned them off. I'm saying it doesn't get the "let's go fuck" vibes that it illicits in men. At least after the honeymoon stage wears off.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/26 04:47 AM
0

So if you don't fuck women, why would you think my information is false? It's like I said men are generally taller than women and you, a 6'0 woman chimes in telling me that I'm wrong. I don't doubt your experience, it's just not how it generally works. Hence why things like Playgirl failed and male strip clubs aren't nearly as popular as female ones
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/26 04:46 AM
0

Do you think your reaction represents the majority of women? I'm sure it works for an ovulating woman, but that's only a few days out of the month. Otherwise the typical comments from women describe being attracted to a man in a suit or sleeves rolled up showing forearms. All day foreplay wouldn't be necessary either if just being naked did the trick.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/26 10:50 PM
2

Don't let the rest of Reddit hear that. They'll say its societal influence.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/26 07:07 PM
1

I'm sure you do. But do you seek out the videos and respond? If you're seeking it out, it's leaning more towards spontaneous. In either case, the behavior you're describing is rarer (but welcomed 😏) among women. Maybe you can try convincing your friends to hop on this train. Men would love to be desired.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/26 06:56 PM
0

I agree. But what men find desirable in their partners and what women find desirable are two different things. It's rare that a boyfriend/husband can just walk in naked and the woman is excited to start things. The opposite usually works. Generally speaking of course.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/26 06:52 PM
2

Many women don't take agency for their own pleasure. Men do the thrusting and get themselves to orgasm. The enthusiasm from the partner is what helps make it great. We'd expect the same from women but they don't typically think that way.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/26 03:07 PM
1

Unfortunately, you're in the minority. Us men also find women's general sexuality confusing. As the other commenter pointed out, they don't operate like you or most men do.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/26 03:06 PM
0

You sound like a 6'2 woman being offended by the statement "men are generally taller than women". Just because you're different doesn't mean the trend doesn't exist.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/26 02:57 PM
1

There's reason to believe her. Outside of a woman ovulating, that's how it would work. And ovulation is a short term thing in a woman's cycle. So outside of ovulating, a man would have to engage in showing a woman that she's desirable and getting things going. She typically intrinsically feels this way when an egg is dropping. There's more confidence, energy, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/26 02:55 PM
5

The majority of women have responsive desire, not spontaneous. The closest they'll be to men's sexuality is when they're ovulating (which is a short time frame compared to men's "always on" libido)
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/26 02:49 PM
4

Teen girls*
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/26 02:47 PM
8

You'd be surprised how many people on Reddit act like men and women are the same sexually. Asking if men have stronger libido becomes a non sense debate.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/26 02:40 PM
1

If I don't want to go with her, that's on me. Otherwise, I'm secure enough for her to go. So if it's important enough that I don't want someone else to go, it's important enough for me to go.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/26 10:25 PM
1

Ok. Sex isn't a big deal if it's in the relationship? And if you don't want sex with the person, that's fine. But you'd be upset that the person (that you don't want sex with) has sex with someone else? And that means sex outside the relationship matters more than sex inside the relationship.....correct? And if that's true, why?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 08:49 PM
1

So you dodged the question. If sex isn't a big deal within the relationship, why would having sex outside the relationship be grounds for ending it?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 08:36 PM
3

If you peruse the deadbedrooms sub, you'll see many scenarios of a person that doesn't want sex (not health related/doesn't investigate to fix it) but would be livid if there partner wanted sex from someone else. Pretty strange to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 08:28 PM
1

Then wouldn't lesbians have better outcomes?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 08:25 PM
2

I think the orgasm gap is a two way street. The BecomingOrgasmic sub isn't full of men. And I really wonder what percentage of women can reach orgasm through masturbation WITHOUT a toy. Your second point will always have the burden but for sure some things can be alleviated.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 08:24 PM
2

Would you be in the relationship and allow the man to have sex with someone else? IMO it's strange to treat sex as non essential but then it's essential if it's done with someone else.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 08:14 PM
5

Would you be open to letting a spouse have sex while you didn't? I'm always fascinated by the idea of people treating sex as "not essential" (if it's not health related) to a marriage but if said partner wanted sex with someone else, it's grounds for ending it.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 08:13 PM
5

Lol so women are just as tall as men, we just don't run into those 6'2 women huh? Bumble was a wild success because women make the first move as much as men? I'm totally fine and dated just fine. I'm just talking about reality. If you're offended because I'm talking about the world that's bigger than you, that's your business.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/26 05:22 PM
6

I'm sure women like that exist but it's not even close to the majority. It would be refreshing if it were.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/26 04:16 PM
3

Define "plenty" in a percentage. I could say there are plenty of women taller than men and have relationships with shorter men. But you wouldn't say it's 50/50. Heck, you wouldn't even say men and women are roughly the same height even though there are "plenty" of tall women. Most women don't initiate or lead from dating to sex. So while men would love it if it were more even, it's not the case. It's why bumble failed.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/26 11:47 AM
7

But it's kinda part of how women operate. They're passive participants in dating from beginning to sex. They rarely initiate dating. Rarely initiate sex. They will happily go along for the ride, but the initiating and "leading" part of things they don't do. So submission kinda follows that right?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/26 11:44 AM

You mean the reddit dataset? I agree, it's a skewed weird bunch.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 03:04 PM

And there are women that are 6'2 and men that are not. We're talking about prevalence/probability, not possibility. Most men are taller than most women. Some tall women exist. Most men are more visually aroused than most women. Some visually aroused women exist.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 03:03 PM
1

Yet, when people say that men are more visually aroused, there's a bunch of oddballs thinking it's a social construct instead of the biological difference between men and women
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 07:36 AM
1

But men are also obsessed with boobs, butts, vulvas, feet, etc. Women don't have that same obsession for men
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 07:33 AM
1

Yet there's tons of posts by women on Reddit that are upset by the thought that men are more visually aroused than women. I agree with you but this app makes me wonder what world people are living in
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 07:31 AM
1

That makes sense
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/26 08:43 PM
1

Because they'll never find another man attractive. At best, the equivalency is an old/unattractive woman. But it won't create the same response as the same behavior from a gay man.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/26 08:42 PM
1

Perfectly stated
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/26 08:36 PM
2

The problem is that it's not an equivalent. That's like saying women are NEVER attracted to men. But that's not true.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/26 08:20 PM
1

For gay men, it's paradise. There are gay men that do exactly that and you don't see them complaining. Lesbians don't even behave like that. Women equate that objectification as negative. Men understand how it feels positive but women operate differently. I just got back from Saint Martin where I frequented the nude beach. One morning a group of 5 women showed up and as I approached the water, they catcalled. I loved it. We started talking, they asked to feel me up, and I gladly let them. I don'…
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/26 08:19 PM
1

That implies that women find zero men attractive. Comparing it to gay men is a false equivalency. It's not like women find zero men attractive (unless they're lesbian)
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/26 07:42 PM
1

Gay men objectify each other happily. Lesbians don't. Men and women perceive sexuality differently
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/26 07:39 PM
1

So how does that account for lesbians?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/26 07:27 PM

The logic of enduring sex never makes sense to me. Mainly because the people that say they "endure it" would be furious if their spouse safely had sex with someone else. Then it's a relationship ender and "how could they share that with someone else". But the thing their sharing seems to be something the one party loathes. Just seems like some serious cognitive dissonance
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/26 04:11 PM

Yeah, avoiding the question is loud and clear.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 08:13 PM

Way to breeze right by my points. By your logic, women don't like men for their looks or for personality because they don't put any effort into dates. They just want someone to treat them/their wallets.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 07:49 PM

Who says that they're only doing stuff for your looks? They can enjoy the time spent with you just as much as looks. However, women don't don't take men out on dates. So by your logic, women don't like men for their looks or their personality. They just like them for money? And secondly, if sex is so unimportant, let them go have sex with someone else while they hang out and have quality time with you. Does that sound better?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 07:28 PM

Interesting. So why do gay men have way more sex than lesbians?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 07:24 PM

Lol when you leave, they call that coercive. Or that you're the villain. It'd be a lot better if people just recognized that it's a real possibility when someone isn't looking to fix the issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 07:23 PM

Maybe but that gets old. If the only reason you liked the person is because they took you on dates, that's kinda lame. It's like women don't have an intrinsic desire for their person. It almost seems more emphasized when you see the relationship behavior of lesbians. They spend all the quality time they can with each other and still have less sex than gay men. It's like women's sex drives make them NPCs
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 06:53 PM

Same except I'm the man. Every person I dated and was in a relationship with, I had a serious talk about how I wanted sex frequently. They were all fun and for it during the honeymoon period. Then it would drop. It's frustrating because people act weirded out by the convo but it should be just as important as determining kids/religion/etc for compatibility. Also, I'm surprised that they didn't want to go again at least the next day. A refractory period typically feels like a few hours not days. …
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 06:50 PM

Why sign up for a contract with a man that's not good in bed? Why stay with him? Women will complain about everything but won't solve/leave. But will be Pikachu face if/when the guy breaks up.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 06:46 PM

With the level of sales for ED pills, I don't think men "expect" their partner to suffer. It's usually the other way around.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 06:41 PM

Would you consider it coercive if they said they couldn't continue on in that fashion unless the relationship was opened up and/or simply divorce?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 06:39 PM

I was just reading a post in divorce and people think that breaking up due to a lack of sex is coercive. When people stop holding these ideas, cheating and miserable relationships can start to be reduced.

If men are the problem, why don't lesbians have as much sex as gay men?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/26 07:17 PM

Lesbians don't hold a candle to the amount sex gay men have.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/26 07:15 PM

Lesbians still don't have as much sex as gay men. Men aren't the problem that people portray them to be in these scenarios.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/26 07:15 PM
1

But that implies that women don't like ANY man. It's not like the reverse scenario works for straight men because it doesn't make sense. At best, it's if an unattractive woman behaved a certain way. Then it could be somewhat similar. But even then it's not because most men take agency of their sexuality. I always wonder why women don't get on top and make themselves orgasm the way men do.

I didn't say against their will. At the very least, a guy isn't going to be offended if a girl asked first. Women would think it's rude. But since you think men and women have similar libido/arousal processes, why don't lesbians have as much casual sex as gay men. Or have a dating app equivalent in "success" as Grindr?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/26 03:03 PM
1

But what makes it unpleasant? I get if it looks gross. But since it's a picture, it literally didn't do anything to me. It feels like those memes where a woman is embarrassed to be seen in her bra and underwear, but is fine being at the beach in a bikini. It's the same clothes, different context and yields a different feeling. Maybe men just don't seem to think like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/26 09:02 PM
1

Usually women find a man in a suit more attractive than a naked man. With that said, even in partnered relationships, a woman can walk in naked on her partner and that's enough for arousal. The other way around doesn't work as much for women. Women have sexuality, it's just more complex and needs a lot more context/inputs to get the same results that men do. And some women are 6'2 (188cm since you're metric 😅). That doesn't mean it's a majority or even a significant minority.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/26 08:59 PM
1

That feels untrue, at least for me. I'd imagine only immature/young men to find them gross. I'd say the reverse is more likely. Women like clothes men over nude and definitely hate penises more than men would ever be grossed out by vulvas. I can almost guarantee that if a man asked for nudes and a woman sent a spread vulva pic, he'd be happy. Just look at that comment interest discrepancy of r/normalnudes. Non porn women with normal bodies get WAY more attention than the equivalent man.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/26 06:57 PM

They would. A woman did this test on a dating app and was shocked that men still were engaged. Why do you think men wouldn't like it?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/26 11:30 AM

Even after safety is established, men initiate sex 3 times as much as their partners.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/26 12:54 PM

Women are like that in the first 2-3 months of a relationship (fwb, etc). Most women have responsive libidos and aren't ready to go/seeking out sex at nearly the rate men do.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/26 12:52 PM

Obviously not any. But men would have WAY more sex with available women than the inverse.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/26 01:22 AM

I agree. I think blaming men for women not being more sexual is lazy thinking though and it's rampant on this site. I think there's just an inherent difference in the way men and women approach things. Mainly due to testosterone.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/26 08:53 PM

Yeah, that's why I said closer but not the same. Testosterone is still the main driver behind that difference

/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/26 11:17 PM

So women are harder to please.......

/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/26 07:23 PM

Every time I see this, I can't help but wonder why lesbians aren't having as much sex or even casual sex as much as gay men. Most of these arguments frame it as men failing women, but that would mean lesbians would be having casual sex at the same rates. But they don't. They pale in comparison.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/26 07:21 PM
1

Lesbians don't risk pregnancy but have way less sex compared to gay men.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/26 07:16 PM

Wouldn't that imply that lesbians would be having as much sex as gay men? Since all those perceived risks are reduced? Funny enough, those risks for STDs increase for gay men yet they're having the most sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/26 07:14 PM
2

I'm trying my best boss. I argue with Redditors all the time on this subject and I don't know how they got so dumb.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/26 08:26 PM
3

I think the first step is for people to recognize this fundamental difference. There's still too many people that think the libidos are the same or that one is better than the other. Then, while getting/dating, people can simply state their expectations the way they state their desire to have/not have children. It would make things a lot smoother.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/26 07:14 PM

If you can wait, you're not that hungry.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/26 07:09 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/26 01:25 AM

Perfectly put. That's the blindspot in accountability that many seem to lack. Don't get me started on weight loss. They'll blame everything other than the calories they take in vs the energy they expend.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/26 02:20 PM

Maybe. But in that scenario she blames the guy and deems him wrong. Neither would be wrong but only the guy is vilified. Are you suggesting someone should stay in that scenario? ETA: the real lack of accountability shows up when a person doesn't investigate the reason for the libido change or look to rectify it. Most times women just treat it like "take it or leave it" and when the guy leaves, he's the bad guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/26 01:53 PM

Women tend to think man is wrong for wanting to leave a sexually unsatisfying relationship. Even when they don't take accountability for contributing to said unsatisfying sexual relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/26 01:24 PM
1

Is that why lesbians hook up less than gay men too?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/26 09:36 AM

Women like romance because they're a passive participant. Lesbians make the same complaints men do because of women's passivity
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/26 09:34 AM
1

I always wonder a few things with this info. How frequently are lesbians having orgasms compared to gay men? Also, it seems like the data is blaming men for the orgasm gap but there are WAY more women who can't reach an orgasm from manual masturbation (aka without a toy) than men. Yet, they also put the onus on the man to make it happen
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/26 09:32 AM

To women it is. To men, it's not
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/26 05:59 AM

What I don't understand are the people that would happily stay in it sexless. Like if the partner that doesn't want sex found out their partner wants to open the relationship or cheat, then they're done. Like they'd rather have both people not want sex than one gets it (even though they don't want sex themselves)
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/26 05:35 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/26 09:53 PM

How many women can orgasm without the use of a toy while masturbating? How many men can orgasm without the use of a toy while masturbating? I'm pretty sure that r/becomingorgasmic sub is mostly women.

You're bringing up personal anecdotes now. It would be like a WNBA player saying that men and women tend to be the same height because they're around other tall women and the way they experience life is what they see. I'm starting to feel like the people that think women and men have similar libidos must think it's a bad thing that women's are lower. It's not. It's different. Just like height.

Pretty sure a prostitute counts as a partner - just a paid one.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/26 07:43 PM

There's a reason that many women in their 40s, 50s, 60s are given testosterone to help with their libido. Just like the uptick of libido for female body builders that use testosterone. If people can see that men are generally taller than women even though there are few women that are taller than men, why is it so hard to imagine that men in general have stronger more consistent libidos?

A women generally has a lower libido and threshold for satisfaction than men. If she only wants sex once a month for 1 hour, of course she's gonna report that she's satisfied. That's not going to be the case for a man. Men are different because they like sex a lot more and women just make it more complicated. Saying anything else is just cope.

no. I'd at least say, most men and women have similar eye colors. Not the overall "look like each other". You said "not every relationship has sex" To me, that's the equivalent of "Not every man is taller than every woman" MOST romantic relationships have sex as a component. So if there was no sex in the relationship, but a man could outsource it, he'd probably be ok with that relationship. The guy barking orders and making things happen will probably do the same thing at home. It's like a guy wanting a woman with a stripper's sex appeal but not wanting everything that makes her that way. It's why they say "can't turn a hoe into a housewife". Similarly, that CEO ain't gonna be a teddy bear much. People just have to be real about what they want. Some are though. I imagine many athlete/entertainer spouses are ok with the highs and lows of the life.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/25 10:29 PM
1

And they don't have the drive that testosterone produces to seek out sex at the same rates as men.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/25 10:30 PM

From my perspective, women weren't treating the guy well at all while courting. She was just along for the ride. So unless that behavior is reciprocal, it'll feel like he's not treating her well when in reality, she never treated him.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 09:26 PM
1

Again, that's why they're generalizations and not absolutes. Doing the trends will more than likely end up with certain results. Yes some women may be hornier than men, but it's rarer. So someone should know those odds instead of getting frustrated that the world isn't so equal due to the outliers. If a 6'1 woman wants a man taller than her, she's going to have a harder time than a woman that's 5'5. Sure, she COULD find someone, but that's why there's outliers.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/25 05:06 PM

The thing is, when a man is pursued, she's probably ovulating. That's when she's moving with agency and initiating things. Other than that, she's dormant and has a responsive libido. Won't even think about sex unless someone else activated her. All of which, is a rarity over the course of a month
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 09:04 PM
1

You hit the nail on the head. Every woman's cycle is different, so the most important thing is paying attention and being self aware. Expecting someone to educate you about yourself is a bit lazy. So even if you didn't know it was tied to ovulation, you'd att least expect that there's times of the month that you're horny and when it'll happen. Similar to maybe being down and luteal. ETA: it's the being caught off guard by such a regular thing that's baffling
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 08:31 PM

I hear you and I probably do operate that way. I expect people to treat me how they want to be treated. So if I had a bad weight problem, I'd expect my friends to tell me. /r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 08:25 PM

I don't think so. As a guy, it's strange that a woman would be the last to know why she's behaving the way she is (like a period coming) because it's MONTHLY. Someone that stress eats may not see it because they don't recognize the pattern because the stress may come at random times. But a period is cyclical. Even worse, women get angry when you point it out, so they double down on ignoring their own symptoms. Do you have an example of negative sexual behavior that a guy would know they want eve…

This is where the slippery slope of being objectified comes from. It's like only 3 days out of the month, a woman behaves with agency. The other 27, it's all about what someone else is doing/things outside her control that move the needle of arousal/attraction. A subject performs an action in a sentence, while an object receives the action. Many women behave like an object.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 04:15 PM
1

Sure, there's a lack of education but at some point you have to know yourself. If Everytime I drink milk I get a stomach ache, I'm going to eventually avoid milk or realize it's bad for me. Likewise, I'd expect that a woman that gets a little down or cranky 3 weeks after their period, they'd start to recognize the patterns of their cycle and how they operate. Is that really an education problem that women aren't paying attention to themselves?

The interesting thing is that women are the ones that push that disconnect between being carnal/realizing the impact that their cycle has on them. If you point out the behavior, there's a lot of backlash.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 03:57 PM

It's amazing how many people don't recognize this common sense level of people's behavior. Great and accurate comment. I spend way too much time on this app arguing how much different men and women are when it comes to sex drive/sexual behavior
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/25 09:12 PM

Why is that a totally different situation? Usually when someone is dealing with a responsive libido person they literally are saying "I feel like I'm the only one making an effort" except it's sex.

When does that happen? Idk how men would complain of a lack of initiate in a relationship and then turn around be upset that she displays the action he wants. I don't even know where all these guys are complaining about a woman being too forward. It's mainly the opposite and you can search it all over reddit. Part of me thinks other women perpetuate the idea of the "don't initiate" because it simply doesn't make sense in this day and age.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 03:04 PM
1

I hear you. I just think it's lame. If you applied responsive desire to any other facet of any relationship, it just looks like disinterest. Like if you had a friend that had responsive desire to hanging out, you'd probably stop being friends with that person because they don't really show equal initiative in keeping the relationship going. They never reach out or hang out unless you initiate contact first. That'd get old fast.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 03:02 PM
2

Seriously? Most men's top complaints in relationships is the lack of initiative that women have in the sexual department. Even in safe, committed relationships. Think of it this way. If you had a friend that hung out with you every time you reached out but never reached out to you, you'd question the friends after a while. They never call first. Initiate hang outs, etc. That's what it's like dealing with a responsive desire person. It's like they lack agency.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 02:36 PM
1

From my understanding, spontaneous is happening internally. Like if they haven't had sex in a while, they just go seeking it. Responsive, (as the word implies) is responding to some sexual stimulus. Could be a date, could be touch, could be seeing someone posing provocatively. So why wouldn't viewing someone be considered responsive?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 02:34 PM
1

Women are still less likely to initiate in a safe committed relationship too. Women just have lower less consistent libidos than men.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 01:55 PM
1

But men see their partner and respond because they're more visually aroused. Women tend not to be
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 01:53 PM
3

Considering that most women have responsive desire and that they don't initiate much l, no, most women don't operate with agency. They behave like an object or NPC that has to respond
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 01:28 PM
2

Both genders do this. People say men can't communicate but gave you ever asked what a woman wants to eat?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/25 01:22 PM
8

Most women don't initiate sex or dates like they don't have agency. They exhibit that behavior. Men wish women had more agency
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/25 01:18 AM
7

Yeah people discount this. Women are more attracted to a man in suit vs a nude man because the suit allows her to curate a story.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/25 01:16 AM
2

No wonder lesbian bed death is rampant while Grindr is the most successful of the dating apps. Edit: spelling
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/25 01:14 AM
1

I actually agree with most of that except for the cheating part. I think that usually rears it's ugly head when needs aren't met and that goes for both sides.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/25 04:10 AM
1

Lol I did mean lots of sex. But the emotional labor should be no different than the "labor" you have in any friendship. If anything, your partner just gets higher priority of it. Domestic labor is just being an adult and should split evenly/based on strengths anyway. And yes, they have less sex (which would be fine on its own if both people are fine with it) yet lesbians divorce at much higher rates. Blaming men for all of this discourse is lame and I think a lot of women should start looking in…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/25 09:12 PM
1

??????? Just buying a ring/finding a house??? Then why don't women do it? Women don't even initiate dates!
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/25 09:10 PM
2

She wants him to propose = him buying a ring and her saying yes (not much work for her) Having a baby is more than likely something she wants regardless of the man. If women had to buy the ring and court the man there'd be a different push.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/25 08:15 PM
1

There's a reason that lesbians have higher divorce rates than gay men. When the domestic and emotional labor is equal, you can see that women are still passive. Meanwhile, gay men are having a great time in that environment and still having lots of death (no lesbian bed death)
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/25 08:13 PM

Pretty sure a man can pack his own lunch. It's the lack of bjs that move the needle
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/25 08:12 PM
1

I think lonely men want the gf experience. But the guys with partners that don't get the sex, just want the sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/25 08:10 PM
1

So a once a year Christmas gift and a BJ because you don't actually enjoy giving bjs? What you said for the man rarely moves the needle for sex, it's just nice to do. If you didn't do those things and had sex a ton, he'd still be happy. If you don't do what you described for a woman, she doesn't even want sex - as if she doesn't really have an internal drive.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/25 08:09 PM
0

That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying that I thrust for myself and don't expect the other person to do it. It'd be like a woman who enjoy PIV, and clit stimulation, but won't rub their own clit while having sex. Like yeah I could do it, but it just seems a bit presumptive. I never expect a woman to give me a BJ yo completion and tell them they're bad at it if they don't. They can simply rub me or lick me elsewhere while I stroke. I'm taking agency and they are an active enthusiastic participant…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/25 08:55 PM
1

I hear you, but like I said, if I orgasm through PIV, it's from me thrusting, not them riding or bouncing back in doggy. And again, I don't even think it's their responsibility. I would just expect them to be enthusiastic. It just seems that most women will lay back and expect the orgasm which is fine I guess, but I never get the luxury.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/25 07:39 PM
2

That 40% with marriages leads to deadbedrooms or worse. It'd be a lot better if women just moved on if it's "meh" instead of trying to keep the peace.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/25 03:59 PM
2

And that's where it's weird. It's like you had sex not for yourself, but for them. Even worse, this type of dynamic always ends up with a person stopping the sex once the relationship is established.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/25 03:39 PM
2

It only makes sense to say you were "used for sex" if you had sex for their benefit and not your own. Otherwise, you both had fun, you just wanted a relationship too. It'd be like sating a relationship that doesn't materialize to marriage meant they were using you as a placeholder until they found their wife.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/25 03:38 PM
1

Define "care if you finish" I'm usually responsible for my own orgasm. Not like women are riding or giving a BJ til I orgasm (not that I'm complaining because I think its a me thing). They may be enthusiastic as I either masturbate or thrust but they're not actually doing the work. Are you saying men just roll over and don't care? Or simply saying they don't make women orgasm? Those are two different things.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/25 03:26 PM
3

Pretty sure gay men are at higher risks of STD's and that didn't stop the want for casual sex too much.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/25 10:43 AM
5

And that's skipping the fact that many women have trouble making THEMSELVES orgasm without a toy during masturbation.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/25 10:40 AM
1

Your viewpoint is rarer than the majority. Especially considering most women to have a reactive type of libido.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/25 02:27 AM

Works for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/25 03:39 PM

Yeah. That's why my whole point was that I hope you're calling it fair on both sides. Women seem to be way more immune to accountability when it comes to the hormonal/biological conversation.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/25 12:00 PM

No. I'm equating the biological effects of testosterone (lust, being primarily sex driven, a sex pest i.e. not sexual assault) to the biological effects of a woman's menstrual cycle. But if we want to use hyperbole, I'm equating emotional abuse with physical abuse. ETA: i.e. you say men can treat others with respect despite the urges so I'm hoping you say the same about women who are in luteal.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/25 11:56 AM

I hope you use the same logic on a woman using her luteal phase as an excuse for emotional outbursts.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/25 11:13 AM

Have you defended women who excuse their mood swings due to the luteal phase hormonal shifts?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/25 11:12 AM

You're joking with me right? Each month just represents a number and you do math. October is 10. December is 12. How many months til December? 2. (Assuming both on the first).
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/25 06:12 PM
0

I don't even know what that is
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/25 04:13 PM

I noticed an anecdotal trend where most women in my department don't count months as math and instead count on their fingers between months. Blew my mind.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/25 02:36 PM

Lesbians don't have as much sex as gay men. Men aren't the problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/25 03:50 PM
1

Just type "men more visual" in the reddit search bar and you'll see the posts. The mental gymnastics I've seen in twox chromosomes sub on the subject is really interesting. But in general, searching for this topic, you'll find a ton of women saying this. I agree with you though. Men in general are the hornier ones.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/25 03:50 PM
2

Im using the lgbtq example because of your misandry. You've been saying the problem is men. I agree that immature PEOPLE create bad relationships. But your making it sound like men are the majority problem. So if I remove the man (now going into lgbtq stats) your logic won't hold up.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/25 02:34 PM
0

I'm a bit confused here. What does targeting mutual appeal mean in relation to someone knowing how their own body works? To your second question, it depends. In any case, your man bashing makes it seem like lesbians would have a utopian dating world based on your claims but it's far from the case. Peruse any of those subs with "dating hard" in the search and see what they lament about. If you didn't know any better, you'd call them incels with what they're complaining about. (Although I think wh…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/09/25 02:29 AM
1

It's where you're placing the blame. You're blaming men when there's way more women that don't know how they operate themselves but expect someone else to know. They can't even communicate a plan that works
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/25 09:35 PM
1

I don't understand. If women don't orgasm the same way as men, that means it's men's fault they're not satisfied? If you go over to r/becomingorgasmic there are tons of women that can't make THEMSELVES orgasm. And I'm sure there's even more women than can't orgasm through masturbation without a vibrator. And somehow men are the bad partners?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/25 08:21 PM
1

So gay men are having wild amounts of casual sex because men are bad at sex? And lesbians have the least sexual frequency because women are so much better? You can't be serious
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/25 07:19 PM
1

Now just imagine if you're the expected party Everytime. Welcome to manhood
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/25 04:07 PM
1

Exactly. So idk how women are saying they're "just as horny" when there's a lot more caveats. If two people say they're starving but one is willing to eat a burger from a trash can and will wait until they can have a 5 star steak, I'm pretty sure the former is hungrier - not "just as a hungry".
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/25 04:07 PM
5

So men masturbate more than women because of status? Stop doing the mental gymnastics
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/25 07:29 PM
1

Exactly. Personality is a factor if I want a relationship, not sex. Sex is purely physical and they don't operate that way.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/25 07:28 PM
2

They just don't like to admit it
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/25 07:18 PM
3

Exactly. They don't like taking accountability - even for their own orgasms
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/25 07:17 PM
3

So many women say it and not even on this sub. It's really annoying.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/25 02:08 PM
8

Pump yourself with some T for a while and come back to us
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/25 02:06 PM

No one's saying women have zero sex drives and don't like sex. People are saying that women have lower sex drives than men and aren't as interested as men. And by your logic of paraphillias, should gay men be afraid of each other while lesbian bed deaths are the ideal scenario?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/25 02:06 PM
13

No one is the same but there are trends. Just because 6'2 women exist doesn't mean that women are just as tall as men in general.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/25 02:04 PM
1

So the women are blaming men for being unable to orgasm while masturbating?????
/r/PurplePillDebate18/09/25 02:09 AM
1

Tell that to the women at r/becomingorgasmic
/r/PurplePillDebate18/09/25 01:25 AM
1

If men are the problem, wouldn't lesbians be having sex as frequently and casually as gay men?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/25 01:28 PM
2

Women can technically orgasm as frequently as they like through masturbation, and they do that far less frequently than men.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/25 01:26 PM
0

I'm sick of women that can't reach orgasm while masturbating without a toy. They blame their partners as if they even know what they're doing.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/25 01:25 PM
1

That's because men are visually and physically stimulated. The woman doesn't have to say anything nor do we have to know about their personality to be want sex. It's great for a relationship, but not necessary for sex. That's the difference and why OP is correct.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/25 01:24 PM
2

Very fair points about where you focus that objectification. I think most men WISH their significant others objectified them. It's why men think women will react well to dick pics. It'd be a lot easier if everyone understood the differences between men and women. Right now, there's big miscues because of people thinking they're the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/09/25 02:56 PM
2

But if you made it equal, (lesbians vs gay men) gay men still objectify each other happily while lesbians don't.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/09/25 11:10 AM
1

Pretty sure men would be fine with bring objectified by women
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/25 07:36 PM
1

Most women don't like totally nude men the way men like totally nude women
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/25 04:42 PM
1

Be careful. Saying men are more visual gets some weird reactions from people. I agree with you though
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/25 04:38 PM

Maybe. But looking at the relationship stats of lesbians vs gay men shows that women seem to be impulsive on their monogamous relationships
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/25 09:38 PM
1

Be careful saying the obvious of men being more visual and having higher libidos makes people come out the woodwork saying its "societal" and not "biological"
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/25 02:05 PM
1

Many women are taller than men. It doesn't change that men are generally taller than women
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/25 02:35 AM
1

Would men overwhelmingly complain of women not wanting sex as often if they wanted "the upper hand"?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/25 12:51 AM
1

But that sounds like a rebuttal for something that wasn't said. No one's saying they're not sexual. Just that their libidos/desires aren't as strong
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/25 12:50 AM
1

The comment above you. They always chime in with that nonsense.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/25 08:45 PM
1

If you point out that men have higher libidos or are more visually aroused, tons of women chime in saying it's not true. So while it seems common sense, it certainly feels like news to some people. I agree on OP painting it in a negative light though.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/25 08:44 PM
1

That's apples and oranges. Men are complaining about having sex with these women in comparison to what hurdles they put up. Marriage is a MUCH bigger commitment. Many times, men get married based on timing, not who they're with. So if they happen to be with a person by a certain age, marriage happens. At least that's consistent.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/25 07:45 PM
1

Be careful, it's the same logic of the "mental load" to them
/r/PurplePillDebate25/08/25 06:34 AM
1

Why would lesbian women care about being stigmatized for casual sex when their existence is already stigmatized? Also, you don't think gay male sex isn't already stigmatized??? Testosterone makes men hornier than women. That's why menopausal women typically get testosterone creams to get their libido back.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/08/25 01:38 PM
1

The interesting thing is that women are woefully bad at romance. They're passive in both romance and sex but complain about men's behavior
/r/PurplePillDebate21/08/25 07:42 PM
1

Yet when people on this app say that men are hornier, or more visual, they screech about feeling the same but "society" prevents them
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/25 11:16 PM
1

It's not about if you have a libido but it's comparison to men's libido. People here act like men are the problem but gay men seek of casual sex and have it at much higher rates than other orientations.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/25 11:09 PM
1

But that's what OP is saying. There are more people women aren't into because women are picky. Lesbians lament trying to find each other while gay men find each other easily. So sure, no one wants to be hounded by someone they have no interest in. But women are not into people at significantly higher rates.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/25 11:07 PM

Pretty sure they'd lust after their wives but they keep getting rejected. So they stop seeing their wives as appealing and go full fantasy when it comes to porn
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/25 10:18 PM

The better way to say it, is that men LUST unconditionally. They don't need their women to jump through hoops to get aroused
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/25 09:55 PM

I think the analogy you used about a massage would work better if men and women also masturbated at equal rates but they still don't. Men seek out sex more AND masturbate more. For your analogy, men go to massage parlours AND take pain medicine more often than women. As for ED, its usually a health thing and not a matter of mechanics
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/25 11:38 PM

While I agree, that it takes more work, wouldn't that further prove the point that they're not seeking it out? Add to it the hormonal cycles and the longer time to arousal, it's just less likely to happen that two women are ready to go frequently and when both are ready. The r/becomingorgasmic sub is mainly women. I'd be willing to bet that there are more women that struggle to orgasm without a toy/vibrator than there are men that struggle to orgasm without a toy. (I don't think there's any stud…
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/25 09:45 PM

https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/the-passion-paradox/201206/the-ins-and-outs-of-sexual-frequency Supporting in the article are the referenced studies. They measure the frequency of couples have sex at least 3 times a week. M/M follow by M/F follow by F/F. Now I didn't need a source for this simply because you can see the dating habits and behavior in the differences. Grindr is full of men looking for casual sex, while lesbians U-haul and then lament lesbian bed death.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/25 09:18 PM

Before I pull the source, is that really going to change your mind? Anecdotally it's evident, but if I backed it up with a source, what makes you think it's not true?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/25 06:31 PM

But gay men have way more sex than lesbian women. Men are simply hornier. The shoving inside parts is irrelevant
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/25 04:55 PM
1

Yeah I know. But men's responsive desire is like a microwave and women's responsive desire is like an oven.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/25 12:19 AM
1

Sure, but I'm more likely to if I see a woman. Woman can too depending on their cycle
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/25 11:41 PM
1

Mainly it's because women aren't as visual. If it wasn't based on action, husbands/bfs could just walk in the room naked and their partner would be instantly turned on. It rarely works like that for women. They take longer and need a combination of visuals, words, touch etc to get going.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/25 07:51 PM
1

If that's the case, men are exponentially visually aroused than women. Because most men's spontaneous desire is simply responsive desire from looking at a woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/25 07:50 PM
2

I don't know why you're downvoted because you're exactly right. If the husband doesn't spontaneously get horny and initiate a hug, action, etc, she more than likely won't think of sex until she's ovulating. Women aren't even visually aroused the way men are.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/25 07:48 PM
1

The interesting thing is that the "objectifying and dehumanizing" works just fine for gay men. So even if one person is spontaneous, it takes a MUCH shorter time for the man to reciprocate than how it seems to be a n all day prep for many women with responsive desire. But sure ....it's objectifying....
/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/25 07:46 PM

What do you mean? When men say she could work at Starbucks, fast food, whatever, it's implying that she just has to meet his looks threshold and be nice. That doesn't mean supermodel. ETA: think about the requirements that any rich/status/athlete requires in a partner. it's RARE the woman needs to make a certain amount. You'll never find a woman mogul/business person/star partner up with a regular guy that JUST looks good.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/25 07:12 PM

If she was a supermodel, she wouldn't be working at Starbucks
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/25 03:48 PM
1

I know OP corrected to sexualization, but there are a not minority of men that would be happy to be sexually objectified.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/07/25 05:13 AM
1

I'd agree if lesbians had as much casual sex as gay men
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/25 06:54 PM
2

You're last point of guys having access to gay sex isn't really equal. Under no circumstances is a straight man happy about gay sex. A woman at least has a chance to enjoy casual sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/25 06:48 PM
2

Be careful, some subs HATE seeing that last sentence
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/25 09:42 PM
2

Lesbians aren't even into women the way gay men are into men.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/25 09:00 PM
1

Can you elaborate?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/25 06:00 PM
1

Pretty sure men are put in a culture of "you're lesser of a man if you like men"......
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/25 05:55 PM
1

Sounds like it's just about specifying the question. A distance runner could be faster in a 3k while a sprinter would be faster in a 100m dash. So in reality, maybe everyone should be asking who consistently wants sex more vs how many orgasms would you want in 1 week. (Giving the edge to an ovulating woman in a happy relationship). But even the fact that I have to add those caveats kinda shows where this goes.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/25 05:54 PM
1

While get what your saying, that's not far off from Nagoski's brakes and accelator analogy. But just like you've alluded to, women have more sensitive brakes while men have sensitive accelerators. No matter how you break out that scenario, you'd still see that men generally aren't as context sensitive as women. Just like men are more visually aroused. In general men do have higher libido by many metrics but people keep trying to dress it up and different ways. Mars/Venus. Brakes/Acccelators. Etc
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/25 03:30 PM
1

If lesbians were having as much sex as gay men, I'd agree with you.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/25 03:16 PM
2

Your last point is spot on. I just think it's interesting that everyone can tell how much hormones affect women, but if you ask a woman in her luteal phase if she's moody/PMS/etc, they get mad like that's not the reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/25 03:07 PM
1

Women's "heat" cycle is about 1 week a month.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/25 03:06 PM
2

So if someone has 25 orgasms in a week and nothing else the rest of the year while someone else had 2 orgasms a month, would you honestly say the person with 25 had a higher libido or even equal to the other?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/25 03:05 PM
7

Exactly. If someone said most men are taller than most women and a 6'2 woman shouts that some women are taller, it doesn't change the general facts. You're 100% right on people being obtuse and that's why the arguments keep happening. I'm starting to wonder if they're bots because it triggers me enough to comment/engage and stay debating in this app.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/25 01:14 PM
1

Agreed. It's also why women are drawn to erotica rather than visual porn. They like stories
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/25 01:09 AM
1

Lesbians have less sex than gay men
/r/PurplePillDebate22/06/25 12:55 AM
3

I get it, but I can also understand. Imagine having sex with a guy and pulls out a suction toy to finish off but wants you to use it? You may be ok but MANY women wouldn't
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/25 09:30 PM
1

I know. Not saying you did either. The problem is the underlying message that's usually said out loud by other women. OPs premise is that women aren't as interested in men as men are to women. Once we get to orgasm gaps, many women imply that it's the man's fault instead of the general idea that it's harder for women to orgasm (not due to partner)

I get it. I'm not saying you feel that like that. But there seems to be a large amount of women that feel men are simply bad at sex without any reflection. ETA: I've had several partners and no woman has made me orgasm from oral. I never think it's a skill problem. I'm just different

Thank you
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/25 03:53 PM

Fair enough and I'm not judging. I just don't like the rhetoric online of 'men are bad at sex" if he doesn't make her orgasm - as if she's successfully making herself orgasm without a toy.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/25 03:13 PM
2

That's not what I mean. I'm saying that women blame men for not being able to make them orgasm without a toy. If she can't on her own without a toy, she shouldn't expect aan to do the same without a toy. If he refuses to use a toy, that's different.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/25 03:10 PM

It's maddening and makes progressive solutions impossible. I don't even know why it's debatable. It's like debating men being taller than women in general.

How long would it take without a vibrator? Like just your own hands.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/25 02:49 PM

I always wonder why people don't see the problem that women have a hard time masturbating WITHOUT a toy. If you can't make yourself orgasm without a toy, how is it supposed to work for a partner without a toy?

Gay men have WAY more casual sex than lesbians. By removing the man, you'd remove the risk of pregnancy and reduce the STDs. Yet the behavior for libido remains the same.

Yup and that's the truth
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/25 02:45 PM

It's crazy how people don't like this answer. They get upset and mad but can understand that men are generally stronger than women in physical strength. Thank you for saying this. I spend way too much time having debates like it's even debatable.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/25 02:44 PM

I think it would set the tone for reality. My life is fine. But overall, the discourse is bad for everyone else.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/25 05:32 PM
1

100% agree. It's why I don't get why these women complain about making a first move or wishing men approached more. There's way more risk involved for men in terms of approaching so why would a man bother. It's a wild double standard that's not acknowledged
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/25 10:28 PM
7

I think what you're missing is that it IS due to the new generation. If we have trigger warnings for shows that "might" offend someone, men are behaving the same way that they "might" offend a woman just by striking up a conversation with intent to ask them out.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/25 06:43 PM
1

Women vent about not wanting to be bothered. If you search "why don't men approach anymore" the top answers are "because women told us not to"
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/25 06:36 PM
1

Maybe from an official report. But men aren't going to social media to vent about it. That creates the same dynamic as making a report imo. ETA: Think about how many women vented about being approached and expectedly, many men listening stopped approaching.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/25 05:01 PM
1

Fair enough. But there shouldn't be huge risks to it either. If a guy is bad at approaching, the results should speak for themselves and guys will stop doing an approach that doesn't work.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/25 05:00 PM
1

If women approached men the same way you describe, do you think the men would report the women? Would the men be as offended if a woman did it?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/25 04:40 PM
1

While they search for the data, who do you think is more likely to file a report because of the way someone approached them? There's even been videos of women catcalling men and not ONE man was offended.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/25 04:39 PM
1

Men don't feel uncomfortable being approached at the rates women do. It makes more logistical sense for women to approach.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/25 04:37 PM
9

The problem is that there's FAR less risk for women to approach. Men aren't going to be offended, feel harassed (regardless of how she approaches) or threaten a woman's job because of it. There's not going to be men being upset the way women do. Yet with all that, women still don't approach. It would make for better etiquette for this to be commonplace rather than the exception.

If women wanted sex as much as men, there'd be a lesbian Grindr
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/25 04:18 PM

Women in general just don't seem to see their shortcomings or what men provide. Bi-sexual women do see it and it's why they end up with men more than women. Men are easier to deal with.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/25 06:13 PM

That makes even less sense. It implies that men behave like women during their luteal phase ALL THE TIME. Go over to the PMDD partners sub and see if that resonates with how straight women operate in a standard relationship. If a man is acting like that all the time, he's a bad man. Not a representative of all men. If you're shutting your mouth 3/4 weeks of the month, you have a bad relationship. Just like if you have a stomach issue 3/4 out of the month means you have a stomach issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/25 03:49 PM

Then why complain at all??? But to have a bad stomach all month and then (like clockwork) complain on the third week of every month doesn't make sense. It's clearly not the stomach issue if you complain every third week. It's a timing/something else since you're not complaining any other time.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/25 02:39 PM

That doesn't make sense. If the stomach is bad all month, then there wouldn't be a periodic time to complain about it. You'd complain all month.

Losing track of time is one thing. But if I'm bloating, gassy, etc, and I'm lactose intolerant, I'm gonna think I ate some dairy. When women are saying "in so cranky, I don't why" or "someone is getting on my nerves and I can't let it go" they don't seem to connect the dots UNTIL the bleed happens. I'd imagine I'd start checking the calendar as soon as one symptom shows that's out of the ordinary. Instead, many women double down and blame everyone else until the bleed happens.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/25 05:05 PM
1

Interesting. So she runs out of patience at the same time every month? Doesn't sound like a patience thing. If you had a stomach at 3pm everyday for a week each month, you wouldn't be blaming the food - especially if it's the same food the other 3 weeks of the month.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/25 02:34 PM
1

There's a LARGE number of women that forget their cycle every month until the bleed happens. Like they get all the same symptoms and question "why" and have the epiphany as soon as the blood drops. I don't understand how someone wouldn't know themselves better than someone else but it's very prevalent
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/25 02:30 PM

If hormonal shifts are a justifiable way to excuse women's behavior, why wouldn't testosterone 's effect on men be the same?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/25 10:31 PM

Tell that to the menopausal women that notice the dramatic shift in their libido when they are given testosterone
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/25 10:30 PM

You'd be surprised how often people say this isn't true.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/25 06:33 PM

I think the closest people get to see what the roles reversed look like are in gay/lesbian dating. Men would date men and understand how things shape up. However, from those two groups, you see gay men have more sex than hetero and more casual relationships. They tend to wait longer for commitment and commitment seems to be harder to come by. This works conversely with lesbians as they u-Haul prematurely into relationships and casual sex among them is rare.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/25 01:51 PM
1

That just means you're an outlier. Just because 6'4 women exist doesn't change the general knowledge that men tend to be taller than women.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/25 03:18 PM
1

Lesbians don't get each other pregnant and they're FAR less likely to participate in casual sex, have sex less frequently, and are more prone to deadbedrooms. Pregnancy isn't the factor, it's the way that women's libido works. It's especially true when looking at the results of testosterone given to perimenopauseal/menopausal women. All of a sudden they realize how men feel. The best way to describe it is that men feel the way women do during ovulation, except it's constant.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/25 03:14 PM

But a "her problem" gets spun to a "you" problem because MANY women lack accountability
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/25 10:48 AM

I get where you're coming from, but it's still different. As a man, I'm "alright" with no sex being single as in, my life is just fine. However, because I'm single, I have the option to seek out sex. So again I'm fine. Being in a relationship where there's no sex is awful because of the monogamy aspect. If I can only have sex with one person and that person doesn't want sex, then effectively, I'm better off single so I can seek it out.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/25 11:05 PM

And I was talking about most of Reddit/women saying they're just as sexual/horny/motivated as men. Grindr isn't used for dating, BUT men frame dating differently. If one of those Grindr hookups leads to someone that's fun sexually AND has potential to be a long term partner, then it's even more successful. For women, they don't even want to make a move. It's why bumble didn't work and why there isn't a successful equivalent for dating NOR sex for lesbians.

The narrative on Reddit is that women would be just as direct/interested if you removed the issues of safety/pregnancy/stigma. Somehow, removing men for lesbian dating doesn't change any of that. So Grindr at least proves that inherently, women just aren't as sexually motivated.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/25 01:42 PM

The narrative on Reddit is that women would be more open to hookups if they weren't as concerned for safety/pregnancy/men are the problem. Removing the man doesn't seem to change any of that.

I'm sure it happens. It just feels foreign to me. I'd think most men (like myself) have an ego. And that ego is fed when making a woman orgasm. It feels very empowering. I'd think other men feel the same. So it's surprising how prevalent this is. ETA: id especially think they'd want to take more consideration if they want a "repeat" customer.

Precisely. My favorite is example is the idea of "throw pillows". Somehow it's important and they need to washed/changed/etc so it takes mental load. I'm sure men would be happy not to have several throw pillows.

Oh I totally understand. I'm just bringing it up in contrast to the narrative (at least on Reddit) that men are lazy, bad sex partners, etc as if making every woman orgasm is as easy as making a man orgasm. Just feels like men are saddled with the burden of both their own and their partners orgasm.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/25 03:37 PM

I don't disagree. It's just that A LOT of the narrative (at least on Reddit) revolves around men not being good partners and that women can orgasm just as easily as men - men just suck. But I think that's a bit heavy handed considering that many women have trouble making THEMSELVES orgasm without a vibrator. My partner and I have circumvented this because she can make herself orgasm while riding me and it's great. In my mind, it works similarly for me. The person controlling the rhythm controls …

If all you need is sex appeal to have sex (which a ONS typically has) then making another person wait implies that they DON'T meet the criteria. They need extra things to have sex. If you had sex with the ONS and the husband material under the same standards it wouldn't be a big deal. Be asue the husband material probably gets to meet the family/more pe…

For LTR, they want a difficult pay that (once the sex happens) they are aroused by their partner all the time. Essentially, men want someone that desires them as much as they would a FWB but is choosey about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/25 06:12 PM

Women do it all the time. Many times sexual desire isn't a high priority for women
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/25 06:07 PM

OP probably means scenarios where that need for empathy turns toxic like the extreme "body positivity" scenario. Some women want empathy so bad that they'll denounce solutions and reality. I've even seen some women repeatedly complain about wanting to lose weight while actively having a poor diet. Instead of hearing "hey you should slowly swap out some food choices" they'll get mad at that solution and want someone to just say "yeah it's hard". That's madness
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/25 06:01 PM
1

Have you ever had a woman complain about losing weight, repeatedly, and doing nothing to change it? Then getting mad when offering a "solution" instead of validating the frustration? It's madness to think empathy is better in that scenario. Women's want for empathy can be their own detriment.

But men aren't able to ask women to give grace for men's hormones the way women do. She snaps at you for leaving her alone after she asked you to? "She's just hormonal, give her grace." Your final sentence said men have more testosterone. I'm just making the point that blaming men for women's lower libido is a bit lazy. I'm sure some men are bad partners, but inherently, women in general don't have the same desire to seek out sex the same way as men in general. And that includes masturbation.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/25 08:05 PM
1

Looking at the casual sex statistics between gay men and lesbian women, it's simply that women aren't as interested. Gay men have far more frequent sex and casual sex. Lesbian have more orgasms than straight women. HOWEVER, the frequency of sex for lesbians pales in comparison and they're more prone to a "bed death". So yes, the testosterone thing should be higher up on the reasons and not just "sexually satisfying". A big part of the satisfying is the emotional connection for women.

/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 01:27 AM

Exactly. It's mental imagery, not the real thing. It does make me think it sets up women for more disappointment if that's how it works. It's like living in an imaginary world and the real thing is bound to let you down
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/25 06:46 PM

Whatever floats your boat. It's just frustrating that when I explain this in other subs and say that women aren't as visually aroused, I get all sorts of pushback as if it's not true.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/25 05:08 PM

The fascinating thing about this is that women are sexier with LESS clothes but women view men as sexier WITH clothes on. This is also why people say women are less visually aroused than men. Women tend to like the story that the clothes project rather than the naked man. Hence why dickpics do nothing unless it's attached to a connection the woman makes. Meanwhile, men are aroused without much connection but just the visceral look of a nude woman.

I think you're spot on and represent a majority of women's arousal systems. To some degree, it seems like it drives off of imagination. As in, a guy in a nice suit and nice car allows a woman to imagine his status and way he can take care of her. That becomes arousal. For women. Personally, I think it just sets up for a lot of disappointment down the road. In contrast, a nude man doesn't do much for a woman because she doesn't have any reference to imagine. With all that said, it'd be better for…

I do empathize with that feeling, but if women have primarily responsive desire, how aren't they behaving like an NPC? It's like a classic, "if a tree falls and nobody's there to hear it" sort of riddle. Women primarily show spontaneous desire when ovulating. Other than that, they would be an NPC waiting for someone to activate the sex quest. Also, what women find creepy and objectifying are widely accepted and seen as compliments in the gay community. In general, women and men view sex differen…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/25 03:05 PM

I mean even men's responsive desire is way more accelerated than women's. Men see nude women and almost instantly get aroused. For women, that's just a piece of the puzzle.

Thank you for pointing out number 1. It's ridiculous how blatantly obvious it is, but people seem to think there's equal emphasis on visual arousal between men and women.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/25 03:16 AM

When you say that elsewhere on Reddit, there's a lot of push back saying it's societal/patriarchy/men suppressing women's libido (which is nonsense). I think women don't want sex that frequently if you just look at their menstrual cycle and behavior.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/12/24 12:17 AM
2

And most men want sex more than most women. Porn is typically to supplement the difference
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/24 11:15 PM

I think both groups have blinders on. There are some women like you, who have very difficult periods but will deny that some men have a tough time with their hormones/libido. Then the men that say they have a tough time, deny that women like you exist. Either both exist or neither.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/24 11:11 PM

Women aren't interested in general. Just look at lesbian dating and why bi-women tend to date men. Women are passive until it's time to divorce. (Also look at the lesbian divorce rate stats)
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/24 06:52 PM

I think this advice is heavily offered in dating. Men will quickly leave a woman that isn't having sex. Women know this and have sex they don't want/like for the sake of getting married. Once the relationship is secured byarriage, that's when the "truth" comes out. Except for a man to leave now costs money.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/24 07:03 PM
0

Exactly. All those other things pale in comparison. When you factor in that monogamy means not having sex with anyone else, all the cooking in the world won't make up for a lack of sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/24 06:59 PM
1

It'd be interesting what dating would look like if men used the same parameters for partners they were looking for.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/24 08:45 PM
2

Lol fair enough
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 05:15 PM
2

But that also begs the question, why would a woman stay with a man if she's not having fun with sex. I know I wouldn't be with someone long term unless we BOTH enjoyed the sex/had the same kinks.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 03:28 PM
1

So your viewpoint changed since then?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 03:26 PM

I agree! Yet, so many people deny that it's easier to arouse a man.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 03:06 PM

Typically men want to have sex more than women. So in a nutshell, OP is right
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 03:04 PM

This deserves an award
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 02:52 PM

You're implying that arousing a woman and arousing a man requires the same amount of effort. It doesn't. Men are much easier to arouse.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 02:49 PM
0

Wonder why it's more work (chores and home responsibilities being equal) to turn a woman on than a man.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/24 02:46 PM
1

Agreed. Things that effect the both of you are harder. But the women that have to remember their husbands doctors appointments or gifts for their husbands friends are doing too much.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/24 09:29 PM
1

Your last point is how most guys feel. Is it worth stressing yourself over? If not, it doesn't NEED to get done. You'll save yourself a lot of emotional labor.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/24 07:04 PM
1

Do they though? It seems like a lot of this is for other women. Many women keep going adding on to their plate to make an event or thing over the top when it's unnecessary. Then they'll fall on their own sword about not being appreciated when no one asked for the things in the first place.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/24 07:01 PM
1

It's nagging because you should just let the person fail. When they fail, they'll realize they need to get it done. Handling the emotional labor is as bad as an enabling/helicopter parent. Let people grow up and worry about the important things. Then make a shared calendar for event related things and voila, everyone can just be a responsible adult.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/24 06:59 PM
1

That's very dependent on what's considered everything. Its like someone that complains about cleaning throw pillows in a house while the other partner doesn't even want throw pillows on the couch. Is it really on them to consider cleaning it when they'd rather throw em out?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/24 06:57 PM
1

While there is, it's still important. There's more to a house than a bathroom, but you'd want one. And if sex isn't that important, it wouldn't be a big deal if the person had sex with someone outside of the relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/24 01:17 PM
1

If you're not sexually attracted to your partner, why stay?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/24 11:16 AM
1

While I agree with you, I don't think they got the memo over at r/twochromosomes In that sub, the thinking is that women don't benefit from marriage so it would be strange for women to push for it.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 04:55 PM
0

You should go over to r/normalnudes and give the guys some up votes then. Women receive almost 100x the attention than men do for the same pictures. Society isn't phallophobic, women are.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/24 10:31 AM
1

Do you think a man would be offended if a woman rode him until she climaxed??
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/24 10:28 AM
1

I'm not the one who brought up the misconstrued data on domestic violence so I'm not really concerned about that. Just the divorce rates.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/24 11:24 AM
1

What I never understood about those scenarios is how offended those same women would be if another woman flirted with their man
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/24 02:53 AM
1

And what about the divorce rates?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/24 02:28 AM
1

I don't think it's education simply because of the divorce rates of lesbians. I think women inherently have a hard time with compromising or at least having realistic expectations in a life long relationship. Maybe the solution is serial monogamy or staying together until the kids are grown and then dating indefinitely.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 08:46 PM
1

Considering that lesbians divorce the most, I think the real answer is just having women have more realistic and better standards for how a relationship works. Give and take. Compromise. Etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 08:44 PM
1

I guess I'm asking, what behaviors do women have that make you willing to die on that hill?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/24 02:12 PM
1

You're kinda proving the point. Men still like vulva pics.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 11:38 PM
1

Some women don't know how to orgasm on their own....let alone without the assistance of a vibrator
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 10:19 PM
1

Where are those women clamoring for dick pics and upvoting men's pics over at r/normalnudes?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 10:16 PM
1

I agree. Can't have it both ways.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/24 06:32 PM
1

Fair enough
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/24 05:47 PM
1

Sounds like most women have a hard time separating sex from a relationship, despite how many protest differently on Reddit. It just sounds backwards if women want relationships but go after married men. Because then they blame the guy for hurting their feelings. Bizarre stuff.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/24 01:29 PM
2

I think the difference is that women that go for these married men, behave hurt because the man won't leave the wife. Wouldn't being single be one of the biggest attractive traits? In contrast, while women would happily have sex with a married woman and have low standards for it, they'd be turned OFF with the thought of trying to start a relationship with a married woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/24 08:35 PM
1

I mean, men do the work to make themselves cum. Maybe more women should get on top and guarantee their own orgasm
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/24 01:11 AM
1

Lol and then women whine about how men don't want to be married or committed. I'd rather: If you can't continue to work to fulfill your partner, don't get married.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/24 07:03 PM
1

Exactly
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/24 01:17 AM
1

No, I'm not saying they should be fine with orgasmless sex. I'm saying that the default answer that it's their male partners fault is trash. There are more women that can't make THEMSELVES orgasm than men. The sub "becoming orgasmic" isn't flooded with men for a reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/24 11:31 PM
1

Where did I say women don't deserve an orgasm?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/24 09:06 AM
1

So you think men and women can reach orgasm just as easily, it's just that men are trash? Do you know how many women can't reach orgasm with just their hand when masturbating?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/02/24 06:23 PM

Sounds a lot like 70/30
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/24 08:30 PM

I'm not looking for actual percentages. Just your version for when you use those words as comparison Edit: For example, A lot was 80% and Plenty was 20%
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/24 08:22 PM

Thank you!!
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/24 07:16 PM

Agreed. Being so obtuse is what keeps me raging in this debate instead of just ignoring them
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/24 07:11 PM

Define "A Lot" and define "Plenty" using percentages please
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/24 07:09 PM

When women are buying men's voice overs or forearm pics at the same rate that men buy feet pics or even attend strip events, I'll agree that it's not common.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/24 09:48 PM

Why would they? If you enjoy ketchup and everyone is saying "only babies like ketchup" why would you care? You like what you like!
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/24 02:17 PM
1

But it's still common.....
/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/24 02:16 PM
1

I'd wager the reason the community is different is because men and women are different. Also, testosterone/estrogen makes you different
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/23 08:25 PM
1

Why would women still carry the shame when they're already outside of the norm? Similarly, straight men have trouble with sex addiction and feeling validated. In both cases, it's not about the orientation but the sex of the person. Men want sex more (leads to addiction/validation) Women aren't as sex driven (tend to have more blockers, hides behind shame) Just look at Folsom Fair pictures from San Francisco. There's almost no shame in the predominantly male/gay crowd. Seldomly found equivalent w…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/23 07:47 PM
1

While the frequency vs amount argument has some merit, I think the shame part does not. I'd think straight women are having more casual sex than lesbians just because a man is present. I'm not quite sure I understand what you mean by gay men having sex when they're not even horny. Especially in the context where there's a huge amount of threat associated with homosexuality
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/23 07:21 PM
1

But in almost every act that can be equivalent, men still behave in what would be considered a horny way. Gay men have the most frequent amount of sex. Lesbians have the least. Lesbians participate in casual sex the least while gay men do it the most. When you take away the "threat* part for women, it's not like they're behaving in an "as horny" way.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/23 12:33 PM
1

Why do you think men ask for nudes 95% of the time?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/23 03:01 AM
1

Let me know when women are buying pictures of men's feet. I'd love to find a way to make money on this untapped women's libido. /s What you're describing is like saying the homeless person that's willing to eat out the trash isn't hungrier than the person that will only eat chef prepared foods.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/23 02:59 AM
1

Why would there be a difference between someone being attractive and what sexually arouses women? (Unless you're not as visually stimulated sexually)
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/23 07:12 PM
1

But gay men have the most sex out of those orientations......
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/23 03:28 PM

But that's like making the point that there are tall women after someone says "men are generally taller than women" Sure there are exceptions but it's not common enough to refute the main point that men are generally taller than women
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/23 11:04 PM

That's like saying the WNBA is as popular as the NBA. Percentage wise, women don't support magic Mike the way men support OF.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/23 07:12 PM

Describes the stats of your friends. Socioeconomic backgrounds, etc. If my friends and I are all 6'6 and use that as a baseline, we'll question the average height of everyone. D
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/23 07:10 PM

So if people say men are taller than women, do you think that narrative is wrong because of the outliers? These narratives aren't absolute, it's all generally speaking. If women were as visual as men, they wouldn't be the main ones supporting erotic literature
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/23 05:36 PM

Lesbians have the least frequent sex and gay men have the most. Lesbian divorce rates are the highest, gay male divorce is the lowest
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/23 07:13 PM

But why would someone stay with someone where their needs are ignored. What I don't get is why women don't leave in these scenarios. And if the man leaves first, he's the bad guy even though she was miserable while not having her needs met
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/23 07:08 PM

Why wouldn't it be? Most marriages prevent getting your sexual needs met outside the marriage so its gonna be pretty important. Especially if having extra marital sex ends the marriage
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/23 06:41 PM

While I agree that there's more to a marriage than sex, it's still pretty important. With that said, lesbians have highest divorce rate of the orientations. They also have the least frequent amount of sex. Gay men have the highest sex frequency and lowest divorce rate. Just sayin'
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/23 06:34 PM
0

Have you ever asked a woman what she wants to eat?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/23 06:26 PM
1

That overconfident thing also translates for latebloomer lesbians. They think dating should be super easy since they're women and they know women. Then they realize they're dating on hard mode.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/23 06:25 PM
1

Yet none of the Nuns failed.......
/r/AllPillDebate31/07/23 08:38 PM
1

Or Priests????
/r/AllPillDebate31/07/23 03:41 PM

There are more women that can't reach orgasm through masturbation than men. Extrapolate from there
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/23 01:32 AM
1

And to be honest, I'm 100% positive that some men do because that might be all they can get. If a woman was fucking a homeless drug addict, it's because she's a homeless drug addict. And I wouldn't say men are "forced". I'd say men fuck their peer level and below, women fuck their peer level and above. This is due to men having a stronger drive. It's like breath holding competition and women have a larger lung capacity.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/23 11:15 PM
1

Not exactly. I'm saying that men fuck who they "can". Women fuck who they "want". Women are the gatekeepers because they don't have the same drive as men. A homeless/penniless person typically eats what they "can". An employed person also eats what they "can". A CEO typically eats what they "want".
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/23 10:36 PM
1

By the logic above, it's because ugly women exist.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/23 10:10 PM
1

I completely agree. I think because each group has unique issues, it creates those differences because you can't solve all of those shitty things for all people
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/23 07:18 PM
1

I think the problem exists when both sides don't acknowledge their own shortcomings.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/23 05:29 PM
1

I mean, they could've also avoided eye contact because if they thought you'd interpret it as flirting, you'd get mad. There's a LOUD voice from women saying women shouldn't be approached
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/23 01:06 PM
1

If that's the case, what's the sense in women complaining about men's hard wiring? But I actually agree with you on the second statement. The problem is that it takes time to find that out because women typically mask that behavior during that new relationship energy phase. So you don't know her true desire until after a year or so.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/23 11:15 AM
1

The second person you described sounds like an NPC with no internal drive.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/23 12:42 AM
1

If it's so much fun, why don't women initiate more of it?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/23 12:20 AM
1

But that's what so many people commented to say. Women ARE desired just being stagnant. Idle. Being themselves. Men aren't desired unless they do something. The complaint from men is that they'd like to be desired just as is.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/23 11:36 PM
2

As an adult with two children under 7, I admit that it's not "instant", but it certainly isn't impossible. I may not be ready to go in 2 minutes at the statement like before if I'm asked. BUT If my wife skips the talk, walks up to me and just starts giving me oral, I'm ready to go in 2 minutes. At the very least, I'll catch up very fast to whatever she's putting down without a lot of need for build up.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/23 07:41 PM
1

Interesting.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/23 06:58 PM
3

I'm sure that if you just said 'hey, wanna fuck?", He'd say yes and not turn it down. To me that sounds like someone that wants sex, regardless of presentation, and pretty much says they're hungrier for sex. If sex were a meal, you're saying you're not hungry enough to eat unless it's a wine and dine dinner. He's saying he's hungry enough that a burger will do.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/23 06:32 PM
1

1000%. It's why lesbians fall victim to the "U-Haul" trope. They'll tell the selves whatever they want and fill the gaps
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/23 08:16 PM
1

I wouldn't equate it with desperation, but I'd surely equate it with hunger. To keep that analogy going, low quality shrimp is fine but not a long term solution to the way I want to enjoy shrimp. Otherwise, fine dining wouldn't even exist because bare minimum meals would satiate most people. But I think we've veered way off. I'm pretty much explaining the "why" behind the point we agree on: men want sex more than women. Men have a hunger for it. I originally was just debating the idea of "just b…
/r/AntiFeminists03/03/23 02:21 AM

Are you saying that getting sex for either gender, even on FetLife is equal? And while I agree that it's good to simply be upfront, most women don't look for the hookup guy. They have a hookup hoping it turns into something substantial
/r/AntiFeminists03/03/23 01:51 AM
1

Everyone has standards, women's are just higher because they're not as horny. Who's hungrier? The homeless person picking out a half eaten burger from the trash? The person that skips lunch because there's only McDonald's available so they wait til dinner to eat? By your logic, the homeless person just doesn't have standards.
/r/AntiFeminists03/03/23 01:48 AM

If she's just skinny but has all her teeth - yes. If there's missing teeth and or that acne stage, no. 3.id find a position to make it worse. At the very least, handies for both parties. Maybe not full sex 4.absolutely Yes and have done that.
/r/AntiFeminists03/03/23 12:25 AM

One instance of one or two dates is nothing. Years worth of that is annoying. And I say this as I read the sob stories of women on the over30 groups being exhausted from several 1-2-3 your out dates.
/r/AntiFeminists03/03/23 12:23 AM
1

Agreed. But wouldn't that mean the woman is making these assumptions for nothing if she wants more than sex? Spending the extra amount of dates gets her nowhere closer to that if the guy is just biding time til sex.
/r/AntiFeminists02/03/23 10:21 PM
1

I'll go with your steak analogy, (and let's switch for shrimp because I do love it). I love shrimp. Top quality shrimp is best, but I'm not gonna be made at some popcorn shrimp from Popeyes. I'd equate that to masturbating. Routine partner sex with a chain type shrimp. And some hot vacation sex with top tier restaurant shrimp. In most of those scenarios, I'm gonna want it. I don't need to be persuaded or coaxed into it. I'm thinking about enjoying shrimp. Likewise, I'm thinking of enjoying sex a…

Thank you for fully fleshed out comment. I agree with most of what you say, but I think the paradox comes into play with your statement around men discussing sex too early in a conversation. Wouldn't it make sense to have the sexual conversation early and KNOW that both people only want sex or a relationship? It would seem almost impossible for a guy to know if just sex is on the table without investing a significant amount of time. On the other hand, if a woman is waiting for 'x' amount of conv…

While I agree with most of what you've said, I can't get around the fact that lesbians and gay men behave differently when it comes to sex. Gay men still have more sex (frequency) then lesbian women. I'd think the main issue is that its literally apples and oranges. Women may be sex camels, in that when they do enjoy the sex, it might be a much longer session at less frequency, while men have higher frequency and tend to be less time spent during sex than women.
/r/ExRedPill20/02/23 02:12 PM

gay men and lesbian have a similar dating pool, but gay men don't seem to have the problems that lesbians do when it comes to dating or even casual sex.

If you let the internet tell it, porn isn't made for women. Additionally, most women watch lesbian porn. So I think it's very different

As a married man, he's right. I can easily tell where in my wife's cycle she is all the time. Horniness increase around ovulation.lethargy around period. Meh feelings for 2 weeks. To add, she's very motivated to get stuff done during ovulation too and it seems like a spike in testosterone happens. It's very evident in other subs as well.

Pretty sure you can get on top and get the stroke feeling for yourself
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/23 12:35 PM

Funny. If a woman stays complacent in these scenarios, the guy still desires her.......
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/23 04:14 PM

Most men do. Women quickly change over time. There are several posts by women that say something along the lines of "We were sexually charged, etc, easy then shortly after we got married, I just don't have the same drive" Vetting only helps so much.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/23 04:04 PM
1

Nope. Just look at who the men cheat with vs what their wives look like. Most times it's about availability, not looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/22 04:13 PM

Uhhh pretty sure masturbating isn't for an emotional connection and men do that FAR more than women
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/22 07:18 PM

If you're just as horny as men, you wouldn't need to be "awoken"
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/22 07:21 PM

Out of curiosity, are you equally able to orgasm with your own hands as easily as you do with a vibrator?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/11/22 12:28 AM

I think the issue is that there are several random voices on the internet proclaiming women are just as horny and think like men do when it comes to sex, but the outside influences make it so that women don't outwardly enjoy things. I just wish those folks would shut up so that people could understand each other better.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/22 06:21 PM
1

That's how it works for men. Which is who makes a lot of the movies.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 08:47 PM
1

I think there are some vocal people that say "women are just like men" and blame outside factors instead of seeing that it's just the way it is, even without influence. The more people understand how rare it is, the better everyone will be.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 08:45 PM
6

I agree. Although vetting for women to be like men is an uphill battle. It would be MUCH better if men had the expectation that most women aren't visually inclined for arousal. That would change approaches and everything else when it comes to dating, relationships, etc. You'd have less "she doesn't desire me" and more "that's just the way women are".
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 03:24 PM
1

I believe men and women do have different inherent libidos (in general). If everyone knew that, expectations would be different, but even on this sub, people think men and women are the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/22 11:04 PM
1

Again, that train of thought says that she's attracted to what he does and not to HIM. She doesn't have to do anything and he's still interested. You can see countless TikToks of women amazed at how their husbands want to have sex and they haven't even brushed their teeth or put on new clothes. She's not doing anything but being herself and he wants her. The flipside is that the guy has to FO something. Just seems one-sided.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/22 03:55 PM
2

Maybe not more, but definitely earlier on. For the record the though, lesbians have the highest divorce rate amongst the pairings, so I think it's more to it than just "women should divorce more". Something is wrong in the "let's make sure we're compatible" department
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/22 11:29 AM
0

But that's my point. Why do ANY of those things with someone if you don't enjoy it with them? You're proving my point. Maybe I'm crazy but if someone pissed me off, I'm not going to want to play poker/swim laps with them. What really boggles the mind is why someone wants to stay with a person that they don't like. Most people say the lack of sex is due to the other person, but if the reason you're not having sex is because you don't like the person, why stay?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/22 02:49 AM
0

So sex is solely for him? By that logic, she was never REALLY into him, only the things that he does for her and THEN she wants sex. That's lame to me. If I was interested in a shared activity, I would assume the person doing it with me (and continues to) is enjoying themselves, otherwise, why fake the funk? If sex was bad before marriage, why not correct it or leave? Edited for clarity
/r/PurplePillDebate05/10/22 12:07 AM

I think OP is saying women want relationships with these taken men. The men that don't care if you have a boyfriend just want sex

Right now you're talking anecdotes. What % of those female porn sites exist in comparison to men's? What % of those female centric business exist compared to mens. total porn revenue exists Just because it exists doesn't mean it's in abundance. That's like saying the WNBA should be paid like the NBA even though the WNBA has a fraction of the fans and viewership. I also didn't say women are broken nor did I say they can't enjoy it. I'm saying that women are different and the barrier to pleasure i…

What I'm saying is that women have intrinsic issues on their own - at least more than men. And just to confirm, you think difficulty having an orgasm from masturbating is the same for men and women? As for pleasure, that's why I mentioned gay sex as the leading one. If men are bad at pleasuring their partners, they would have LESS sex AND orgasms than lesbians. The general point I'm making is that women have a hard time pleasing themselves. Add a guy into the mix and it's even harder.

Pretty sure men wish they got pervy attention from women
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/22 03:03 PM

Most women aren't visually oriented for getting aroused. If there was porn that catered to women and it made money, it would exist. But it doesn't. Not because the industry doesn't care about women, but because women simply aren't wired that way. Same reason women are successful on OF and men are mainly successful with gay men on OF. Erotica on the other hand is where women rush to it. Keeps it all mental.

How many women have trouble orgasming while masturbating vs men? You can't just blame men when sex is in fact easier. Gay men have the most frequent sex followed by hetero couples followed by lesbians. Men and women are different and we'd all get along better if everyone knew that.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/22 02:23 PM

Gay men have the most frequent sex, followed by get couples, followed by lesbians. I'll find the source if you want, but I don't think it has to do with "women would take care of things themselves" If you look at the posts by women that I identify with responsive libido, they won't be thinking about sex until their partner turns them on. Doesn't sound like much of an intrinsic drive.

I don't know why that would be honestly. If you're not hanging out with your friends and having honest conversations, are they are even your friends? The men that complain about the relationship/friendship issues are just lazy.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/22 10:55 PM

Which is fine. Its just strange when people act like its bad for men.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/22 10:54 PM

Correct, it is primary. But people act like that's a BAD thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/22 11:18 PM

Technically, its that my friendships are people I like spending time with. My relationships should be friendships + sex. Not sex and no friendship. So in essence, what's the point of being in a monogamous relationship if there's no sex? Might as well be friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/22 11:16 PM

Not to sound crass, but what's the difference between your friends and your spouse/significant other?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/22 11:14 PM

That's usually called a pre-nup, and many women hate them

Men still like unsolicited nudes more than women because we're THAT horny. We don't need caveats of emotional connection to enjoy that aspect.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/22 06:54 PM

Makes way more sense. If anyone strolled over to the lesbian dating subs, they'd see lesbians complain about dating women the same way men do.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/22 08:46 PM

They figure it out but its like a blind spot because no one wants to admit it.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/22 01:25 AM

You'd think this type of common sense would remove all these silly debates about men and women being the same.

So the man does all the work himself to make himself cum and you can't do the same for yourself? My wife rides my dick and enjoys it and she cums, then we switch positions and I cum. I RARELY expect her to make me cum because that's an arduous task to put on someone else.

Some women have trouble reaching orgasm when masturbating by themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/22 11:15 AM

Married men initiate sex 3 times as much as their wives. Most risks (I assume) are reduced in marriage. Additionally when comparing gay and lesbian relationships, gay men have sex more frequently and achieve more orgasms a higher percentage of the time. I'm with OP on this one.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/22 11:14 AM

To further your point, I think this also explains the "frequency" difference that's seen between homosexual men and women. Lesbians have less frequent but longer sexual encounters while men have more frequent shorter encounters. It's easy to get in the Porsche and run to the store multiple times a week. It's easier to commute to NYC via train most times than driving, but you may not make the trip as frequently on the train than the shorter distances you do via the porsche.

The maintenance thing sounds dangerous for the 35-40 time period. He may think you actually enjoy this and when you've had enough of compromising or worse, think that since you're older you SHOULDNT be having sex, you might be having that breakup convo.

I think you also have the benefit of being choosey. I can guarantee that your inbox would be flooded with dick pics if you posted that quote somewhere else

men masturbate MUCH more often than women. They eat the sandwich because that's all they have but of course want a steak too. To take this analogy further, I'd think women don't just want a steak, they want fine dining at a restaurant or nothing.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/21 08:52 PM

I think the way the argument is propositioned is using sex like hunger. Men are deemed to be "hungrier" because they'll eat almost anything or do anything to eat while women are more likely to hold out for a good meal. So in effect, how hungry are you if you can just hold out?

The reality is that men care more about looks for sex than women do. Women care about looks but it's lower on the priority list than men. Goes double when you factor in casual sex behavior

But you just said yourself there are guys they'd fuck but their personality is shit. Wouldn't "not being patient" be the criteria (according your statement above) for someone to have a shit personality, and make them a candidate to have sex? https://images.app.goo.gl/oCmJysazZVUed6Ua9 That meme embodies your perception. The most attractive man to a woman sometimes is one that cleans up after himself and is a responsible adult that'll do the dishes. I take these "my husband is quite attractive" with a grain of salt.

Switch that around to a guy NOT introducing you to friends and family after knowing he has with past gfs. It's not to say he's wrong, but you'd feel treated "less than". He's not obligated to do anything and you're well within reason to dismiss the relationship

I can't imagine how much of my time would be wasted on orgasms if I didn't need breaks. The first two can happen within 15 minutes of each other. After that, I need at least an hour or a nap.

There will always be an unmade bed, dishes to be done, vacuuming to be done, etc. Even with a man being an equal partner, he knows that he can have sex and do those things AFTER sex. None of the above inhibits a man's desire the way that it does to a woman. For plainer sense, think about how often single men vs single women masturbate.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/21 05:50 PM

Yes, society has made breaking up over sexual incompatibility somewhat of a vilifying thing for men and empowering for women. I've encouraged both men and women to simply treat it like any other category for compatibility and feel no guilt/shame when those things don't align if its VERY important to them
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/21 03:46 PM

Oh I know its different, but many people all over reddit try to act like men and women are the same when it comes to horniness and that society is to blame for women's lack of easy arousal. Now imagine I said that guys like sex with a variety of women and it doesn't mean he loves his main person any less. While that may be how men could operate biologically, that wouldn't lessen the feeling of it being kind of crappy.

Actually I think the opposite. I would much rather have someone that genuinely wants me and doesn't need to be coaxed into wanting me. Typically this isn't a problem in the "honeymoon" stage of relationships, but as LTR go on, a woman's "ready to go" engine starts to fail and then it take more work for the man to get that interest going. Let me put it another way. If you wanted to go to a movie/concert/dinner/event and invited your friend, and your friend typically had to be "convinced/seduced" …

Honestly, it's a very difficult concept for a man to wrap their head around. Most advice articles related to sex have a man doing 90% of the heavy lifting of getting her in the mood. Add to that, men already get themselves going pretty easily. In our society, we don't put the responsibility on a woman to do anything in this respect when we'd all be better off if women understood themselves better.

I think 40 is the new 30 in the cities. By the time 40 actually rolls around, you see a bunch of gray haired parents of newborns. I think the main thing that happens is social circles that change. The second that more than 50% of people social group has kids/other time commitments that are easier with like minded people, the panic sets in. Not invited to kid birthdays/playdates,/family trips makes things tougher to spend time together. At that point they're at a the crossroads of continuing thei…

It would be a luxury to complain about. Like signing autographs because you're wealthy somebody. Or worse, dealing with an annoying fan
