Really?

How much more attractive would a blonde woman be vs a brunette? Everything else held equal.

Lolol no it’s a thing. I’ve walked past groups of men (and women) and they don’t even look at me in the eye, but as soon as I go by I’ll hear them talk about how hot/cute/mean-looking(?) I am. But when I’m tipsy enough to actually smile at strangers I’m engaged a lot more.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/22 04:39 PM
1

I will say that I get hit on a lot at clubs and bars and not at all while I’m on a walk or going to the store (although I do get a lot of looks). So pretty girls who never go out aren’t going to get approached nearly as much.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/22 04:24 PM

I wouldn’t call well socialized, well groomed people with intellectual hobbies nerds. You can have specific hobbies but also be popular and attractive. You can also just watch anime and be gross looking and I would call that a nerd.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/22 01:08 PM
1

I don’t go on dates with nerds lol, everyone I’ve been on a tinder date was attractive and well socialized enough to know what they were implying.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/22 10:42 PM
2

No I’m saying that the guys I ghosted bc they tried to lure me to their house probably thought I was just scheming for a free meal rather than actually being turned off by their behavior after the date.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/22 09:46 PM
2

Yeah and they can’t be mad that I ghost them bc of it lol but I’m sure they are 😂😂 “she only used me for a meal!”
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/22 09:43 PM
5

I’ve ghosted guys if they keep trying to make plans for me to come over their house to “check out their VR set” or “look at their home gym”. Boy bye lol.

What? Are women supposed to refuse to work for any corporations and refuse to consume any products produced by corporations and just live in the woods eating berries for fear of becoming a hypocrite? More women than men support socialist policies that are inherently anti-capitalism so I don’t get your point. Not that you have a well-thought out one, ofc.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/22 02:25 PM

The reason that most TRP/incel subs keep getting quarantined/banned is because they can’t help but advocate for violence against women, whereas FDS is able to keep that shit under wraps. It’s not hard to not break Reddit TOS and any sub that gets in trouble deserves it for having stupid members and ever stupider moderators. Also, to say that it’s because “waaahh society hates men” is just showing a pathetic victim mentality.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/22 01:52 PM
14

I don’t know how you can dismiss posts that were clearly against Reddit TOS being everywhere and say that it was because red pillers were unfairly lumped with the inkwells. Victim mentality harder pls.

Those types tend not to be virgins 🥴

My point is that you have to be born in at least an UMC-UC background to make it to billionaire status. Another poster had a comment showing that all the stereotypically filthy rich self-made billionaires were UMC or UC.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/22 12:10 PM
1

I understand what you mean and I do agree with certain aspects, but my point remains that most of those billionaires started from at least UMC backgrounds. I’m sure my kids will have the opportunity to become obscenely wealthy, but I don’t think that people starting from my background are ever presented the opportunity to even get lucky.

I’m not the child of immigrants, I was raised by a single mother who had so many mental issues she couldn’t keep a job. And yeah there’s tons of gate keeping. I often imagine I could’ve gone to an Ivy-league med school had I had half the opportunities of my classmates 😭. I’m so uninterested in dating right now but you’re right, I’ll need to find a man who’s also going to be a high earner. The grind is so all-consuming though, I feel like I don’t have the energy to find someone like that though.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/22 05:28 PM
3

How would someone from the lower middle class hope to actually make it into the “elite”? I’ve done well for myself by getting into med school when my parents made sub $30k a year, but even that isn’t enough to get into that group. There’s nothing to be done if you weren’t born lucky.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/22 04:57 PM
6

So if you aren’t going to blame the average man for this policy then why are you blaming the average women or feminists for it? Stupid take.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/22 02:44 PM
10

Feminists would just point out that the draft and the barring of men from fleeing the country was something enacted by men.

We can’t take a look at how brain chemistry (ie the amount of neurotransmitters and their respective post synaptic receptors) varies between the genders so any claim the brain chemistry is just different is patently false.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/22 06:24 PM
5

Lol no. As long as a man isn’t a hot mess “maturity” isn’t much of an issue. Women are just as vain as men and will gladly pick a hotter, younger person who makes the same amount than an older (and thus an uglier) man.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/22 06:20 PM
5

Lol “brain chemistry” nonsense. Just say you don’t know anything about neurology and move on.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/22 06:06 PM
6

I mean, in my honest opinion I think it’s impossible for a man who is 5’3 or lower to be more than mediocre-looking. And I think in this case “mediocre” would be somewhat of a compliment.

It’s a dating app for people who are exclusively hvm. You either pay $100 to get an account or you go through an approval process, which is how most women have their accounts put up.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/22 12:24 AM
1

I couldn’t tell you. One of my girl friends complimented me on “how I don’t give guys attention at all” when going out so I honestly have no clue how many would-be approaches I’ve foiled just by not paying attention.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/22 08:11 PM
2

Tbh I disagree about the super hvm part. Lots of super hvm are really busy or live life styles where they travel a lot. There’s obv a difference in the % of super hvm on say tinder compared to luxy.

/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/22 04:06 AM

For the ladies looking to secure the doctor’s bag: The specialities with the best work-life balances are going to be radiology, ophthalmology, anesthesiology and dermatology. Also a shameless plug in to my own desired speciality: pathology.

I can’t wait to be in a doctor-doctor power couple 😌

/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/22 07:07 PM

It’s going well. Whenever I have the time I can schedule a date and they’ve always been decent. No shortage of attractive men who are also nice and down to get tacos. It’s more of an issue of having too many options and being overwhelmed with messages. I’ve only been dating for around a month or two so I can’t tell if anything’s changed.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/22 03:46 AM

often I hear that women need to control their hypergamy. Why? Serious question lol. Why would women not get the best possible partner?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/22 03:59 AM
1

What city? You might just be suffering from confirmation bias. Most servers aren’t working at Michelin restaurants, more like Denny’s or Red Robin’s.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/22 06:02 AM

$20-30k is about what waitresses make haha. It seems like your social group has already filtered out women without professional degrees. Maybe I misinterpreted your OC, because I definitely read it as something like “A man makings $100-$200k a year won’t care if their partner is waiting tables/a nanny/a nail technician as long as they’re attractive”. Which tbf I have seen people legitimately make an argument for.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/22 11:58 AM
4

Men do care about money. A woman making $100k a year in a professional degree will have more social status than one making $30k a year waitressing. Plus, imo there are more attractive women in higher SES than otherwise. Also, all of the examples she listed were couples that got together very young. Outside of college, people definitely do factor in SES a lot more with regards to who they date.

Okay but you just said obese was average and it’s literally the bottom 40%. Plus the dating pool doesn’t include every American ever, if we exclude married people/people over 35+ the population of obese/overweight people goes down dramatically.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/02/22 04:46 AM
1

On a scale of 1-10, being obese puts you in the 3 category. 5 would be average.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/22 11:59 PM
0

So if you want a sugar baby, it’s like $300 per meet, so say you meet them like 3x a month, that’s almost $1000 a month to have a purely transactional relationship. Now say you spent that same $1000 to glow up/buy clothes and nice watches and become a regular at a club or bar, you could find someone to tap for free indefinitely.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/22 10:30 PM
0

Why, rather than paying women 300-400 a meet, would you not spend that money to glow up and go to bars/clubs?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/22 10:06 PM
2

Obese people are not average and Jonah Hill is ugly. 😔
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/22 10:05 PM
2

Lol okay. Even mathematically speaking, if 40% of Americans are obese it’s safe to say that we can put them in the below average category. Obese isn’t average.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/22 09:50 PM
-1

Being obese makes someone below average. I would say Jonah Hill is below average. I guess if you live in another area where everyone and their mom was obese it might be the norm.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/22 01:53 PM

If you’re fat and unkempt you’re gonna have a bad time dating.

If you check out r/Diabla you can see a post where they criticize doctors for apparently all being narcs or psychopaths or dick heads for thinking they’re more educated than the janitor. You can’t win.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/22 08:35 AM
1

Because a woman who has masculine facial features is still going to appeal to women since we like those features.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/22 07:41 PM

I like the nose and facial hair on the other guy better
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/22 03:21 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/22 05:58 AM

Sorry this is a late response but you need to understand that women already have HVM available to them , so the issue isn’t with getting one and that’s why there’s no advice for it. It’s more so separating the wheat from the chaff. And I’ve only seen stuff that’s really egregious get dunked on, like a woman forgiving a man for cheating or acting like the female version of a simp
/r/PurplePillDebate26/11/21 11:04 PM
0

Compare them to femcels/the pink pill server. Femcels/pink pillers: men only want stacy, men treat ugly women like xyz, etc. FDser: choose a HVM, be careful with who you sleep with, etc. I get the feeling that based off of the messaging that FDS is for women who have the option to choose, they just choose badly.

You can have beliefs without acting on them. For example, I think the detaining of children at the border is wrong, but I’m not going to break into ICE and free them.

They definitely talk about how to be a high value women, but they put emphasis on education and job not their physical looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/21 03:41 PM

I don't get why they even have the side bar still up. I'd be embarrassed.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/21 11:40 AM

Excuse me sir, have you ever read the sidebar? Because I sure have. It literally says that women can't truly feel love, that we are inherently manipulative, yada yada yada.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/21 10:57 AM
11

You guys can't empathize with other men without making up convoluted evo-psych theories that somehow conclude with men being the only gender capable of love and empathy. That's why people shit on TRP.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/21 07:59 AM

I've seen mean girls, not the other two movies you mentioned but I'll give them a gander
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/21 04:37 PM

Yeah. But so is everyone in my family, so it less like "I'm so gorgeous hair flip" and more like "why does everyone else look a little weird, also why are they looking so hard at me".

Oh. Does she do it by working hard to improve her mental and physical health?

/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/21 12:12 AM
2

Because men get more from casual sex lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/21 06:35 PM
3

They would lol. Neither are attracted to each other, makes sense because they're the unattractive dredges of the dating world. Sucks to suck.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/21 01:16 PM
5

Yes it is your fault. If you're a lazy fuck with no redeeming features, then your league is those fat fuck women and if you don't want them its fine but its still your fault.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/21 01:04 PM
3

It's never anyone else's fault that someone can't get laid. And a lot of "average" guys are actually below average, still live at their parent's place at 25, have no hobbies or social groups, basically don't have lives and then wonder why women don't treat them like Chads. They also don't lower their standards enough because they want the same attractive women as Chad without being attractive themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/21 12:51 PM
2

Okay. I agree that no girl is better than abusive girls, but if you are so unattractive that all you can get are the girls no one else wants and would rather be alone, is it not your fault you can't get pussy?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/21 12:24 PM
7

If you're not Chad but demand to be treated like one and can't find a woman willing to do so and are thus sexless, is it not your own fault?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/21 12:17 PM

Oh, so men are just going to harass me for no reason then. Men are definitely the better sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/21 05:15 PM

I am, but I seriously doubt some random man is going to decide to murder me
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/21 04:49 PM

How common is something like this lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/21 04:30 PM

I've started streaming on twitch but my older brother wants me to create a whole new email without my name on it, never reveal my real name or link my real social media so I don't get doxxed. I think he's just being paranoid lol, I don't see how streaming is dangefous
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/21 03:55 PM

Because for the vast majority of history, no body cared about women's happiness so who's going to bother recording that kind of data.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/21 01:12 PM

Yeah, it's weird how women don't share a hive mind.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/21 01:17 AM

It would've been better if you said eating ass.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/21 06:19 PM

Wouldn't having too many humans and permanently ruining the environment to accommodate for these people be worse than having too few people and too many resources?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/21 06:18 PM

If anything, a reduced population is better for our species. Hasn't anyone ever seen Soylent Green?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/21 06:13 PM

It has introduced better alternatives, but those alternatives are only better for women. Why should women sacrifice their happiness/freedom so men could have an easier time?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/21 06:10 PM
1

I'm not arguing in bad faith, but I'm also not taking everyone seriously. If people don't take me seriously because I'm a woman and women are dumb or whatever, why should I?

/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/21 04:47 PM

I don't have any opinions of people I don't know anything about, yes. I'm not bashing guys cos their sexless, I'm bashing them bc they're acting like they're experts at the inner psychological mechanics of women when they aren't, which I think is a fair criticism.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/21 03:56 PM
3

Im just saying that if you're gonna make any point about dates or behaviors on dates or what women should do on dates, maybe you should actually go on some before forming an opinion.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/21 02:58 PM

There are a lot of women with weird tastes, like being into DILFs or old dudes or fat dudes or young dudes or a certain body type, whatever you can think of. It's just, the way we express our horniness and degeneracy if different from men and not something the dudes on Reddit are going to stumble across. Head over to fanfiction.net or Ao3 or any Twitter fandom and you'll see girls thirsting over anything and everything.

I feel like the bar for "Chad" is so low
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/21 06:02 PM
3

Well if you only date chads, you're not going to be desperate to sleep with the first one you can lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/21 06:01 PM
2

I actually make what you consider Chads to wait longer. The more fuckboi energy I sense, the longer the wait. Of course, you're not going to believe me because I disagree with your previously contrived notions of how the world works.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/21 05:54 PM
1

I mean, one guy might seem more open/trustworthy/gentle than another guy, when we have sex is 100% determined on how comfortable I am with that person and I just reach that point a lot faster with some people than others.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/21 03:07 PM
21

I don't think not wanting to have sex with strangers counts as being sexually repressed.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/21 03:06 PM

I feel this so much 😭😭. It hurts to be rejected for who you are as a person and not because your nose is too big or something.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/21 04:54 PM

INTJ and INFP are not any kind of mental illnesses, they're personality types lol. INTJs are actually considered the most analytical and intelligent personality types FYI.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/21 02:00 AM
2

Okay I'm not gonna touch the rest of this with a ten foot pole but again my question was about the girls who rejected you lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/21 10:40 AM
3

I am fueled by my hatred for those who rejected me. Now this sounds completely healthy. Do you feel wronged by those girls?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/21 01:39 AM
3

I think if you could see who I'm talking about when I'm complaining about this you'd change your mind lol. It's why I took the time to emphasize that these are not the type of person that anyone wants to date. Now if I had said, "too many cute college boys hit on me at parties :'(" I'd be like yeah.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/07/21 12:27 AM
0

It's not the height that's funny.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/21 11:32 PM

So when you see any woman complaining about catcalls, creeps etc. do you just assume that they're not genuinely bothered and are just bragsplaining? I don't get how u could think this lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/21 11:30 PM
1

Because there's such a difference between us in age, body type etc. (and they're complete strangers!!) that there's no possible way they think I'd genuinely be interested, so it just feels like random men are bothering me just so they can get some minuscule amount of female attention. Sometimes there's a predatory tinge to the interaction. If I knew them, if they were younger it wouldn't be so... creepy.

Who's going to brag about homeless people heckling them????

This sounds very much like a rich person complaining about having too much money, but I absolutely hate getting male attention in public. I'm going to puke if one more 50-yo pudgy random ass man approaches me. Blech.

I think you shouldnt look for anything in a partner you don't possess. I made my suggestion based on practicality. If your friend wants a girlfriend, he is probably going to find the most success in women of the same "dating tier" as him. I was initially going to disagree with this statement, but then I realized you are completely right. I absolutely hate it when fat/old/ugly/loser people (both men and women!!!) try to hit on me. There's obviously a 0% chance I would like that person, so it feel…

Well if being abnormally short disadvantages men the same way being fat disadvantages women, maybe the short men and the fat women should get together. In this way, their respective psychological complexes and personal traumas related to being short/fat will cancel each other out, and they can have a lukewarm relationship filled with mediocre lights-off sex.

Okay. You can hamster yourself into thinking he's attractive all you want, compared to the men I and other women see and interact on a day to day basis in the real world, he isn't above average facially wise.

Men will think you're cheap if you sleep with them too early lol so it actually does help things go well. Some people determine something's value by how expensive/how difficult it is to achieve it. Not all men ofc. In any case, it isn't worth it to risk having very hurt feelings just to improve things.

Okay so women seduce by being hot... which is achieved by dieting and exercise. Some women do it for themselves and some do it to have more success in the dating world, not all women are the same. Chubby frumpy girls don't get approached by decent men.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/20 01:14 PM

So you agree that women don't see it as a reward but are wondering why women aren't acting like it's a reward by punishing men?

It doesn't matter why it's seen as a reward to men- we can understand this and still not care. A women has to respond to a man's advances and be generally attractive enough Men don't see the work that women put into seduction before they even meet anyone. We're talking dieting, skincare routines, pilates/yoga/barre classes, expensive blowouts, etc. and etc. so I find it hilarious that men think women don't have to do anything to get approached by decent people. The 22 yr old is just better at dating than you are. Why would you go out with someone you aren't attracted to? Also, why are you surprised a 22 yr old wouldn't be into you? I'm 22 and men your age seem very old to me. Also, the 22 yr old was showing you compassion by making excuses and not calling you too old to your face.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/20 11:14 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/20 01:33 AM
2

Why bother putting effort if you're never going believe things that don't conveniently abdicate you of responsibility for your failures? It's much easier to believe that all women only chase after chads, that's why you can't get women, and also these women are stupid and clueless, so now you feel superior to them.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/20 03:57 PM

Lol. You could make a point about female rapes being under reported, but to look at a statistic of 99.2% vs. 0.8% and conclude that it is only because of sexism is ridiculous. Why ask for data if you aren't going to believe any of it? Also, I am black.

No lol, there are lots of boring average people with four year degrees who don't get any pussy. It's not like an MD or a law degree. And sorry, but degrees do determine social status. How is it dumb to want white collar men? Why do you think that women don't genuinely want educated men?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/20 06:26 PM
8

My biggest point is that our bodies don't want to spread genes, we just want to feel good. Evolution and spreading genes are the reason behind this but it doesn't change what we are actually seeking.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/20 06:20 PM
12

I disagree for the first part. Our bodies see sex as "doing something that feels good and releases happy chemicals in our brain". having sex leads to more offspring, so evolution kindly made the experience as pleasurable as possible. it's the same way for eating, we eat because it hurts to be hungry and because food tastes good, not because we want to absorb nutrients into our body to maintain metabolism and homeostasis.

Different strokes for different folks. Some people thrive on casual sex and others don't. Just like women, some men get too emotionally attached to others to have a good time with casual sex. Attractiveness has nothing to do with this.

with rules made by women with zero input by men. I mean... the imbalance is only because men want sex a lot more than women do. It's not like women got together and took command of the market. A man who isn't desperate for sex will have the same amount of power as any woman.

Women get body positivity movements Women didn't get shit. Women took action and created their own body positivity movement for women. If men cared enough about it they would do the same. I don't understand why men complain that there isn't a body positivity movement for them. Women see a problem affecting them and take action to fix it instead of complaining about it.

I'm not saying natural selection isn't a thing. I'm saying that you could not prove certain aspects about gender dynamics from a theoretical framework based on natural selection. Gender dynamics come from complex social, biological and psychological interactions. Sure, you can deduce things that make sense. I mean... casual sex IS casual lol. Sex can mean whatever people want it to mean. I have only had sex with 10 people and I barely remember these 10-15 minute encounters from years ago. That's how it should be, that's normal. I'm notgoing to be suddenly out and about one day and look off into the distance fondly remembering some schmuck from my freshman year at college.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/20 02:18 AM

you never forget that Ahhahahah no we definitely forget. I'm not going to remember some guy I spent a single night with five years ago.

and so do women. but you won't ever accept any narrative that can't shift the responsibility on men for their own romantic lives to women.

Introversion/social anxiety is only allowed for attractive people lol. Men get "creepy", unattractive women get "weird".
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/20 12:48 PM

I'm not commenting on that latter statement. You're all over this post complaining about how women are being selective with their attention, but also commenting on how men don't owe women anything. I'm pointing out the hypocrisy of this.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/20 12:44 PM

Then why do men need women to make them feel a particular way? You guys say men don't owe women anything and then come on here and complain that some men don't receive sexual attention for being uggos.

Just like men aren't aware they're going for the same type of girls - attractive, nice feminine facial features, clear skin, tight bodies and good social skills. There are things that are universally attractive that everyone goes for, but then there are some traits that have variable appeal, like skin tone, hair/eye color, music choice, hobbies, life style, etc.

Oh I see. I thought you were making an assertion that men are collectively not marrying Western women anymore and divorcing their wives. I agree with you, but I also wanted to mention that the 25+ cohort will include individuals with sex addictions (and thus N-counts into the hundreds) which is going to skew the divorce rate for that group up, unless the researchers excluded those obvious outliers.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/20 04:28 PM
2

My comment said that promiscuous women get married, and this follow up comment in no way contradicts my initial assertion. Additionally, considering that 70% of divorces are filed by women, it seems like promiscuous women are able to get married and then divorce their husbands as they please (and as economic factors allow for the marriage in the first place). Obviously promiscuous people (both men and women) are more likely to cheat.

If dressing nicely and having a flattering haircut isn't effort, then why can't men seem to do it? Women dress more trendily, spend more time in the bathroom doing their hair, drop hella $$$ on eyelashes and nails, and spend hours learning and doing makeup. All of those things don't require effort? Don't make me laugh. This is so obviously the "everything women do is bad and doesn't count, everything men do is good".

How is this an argument against women? Women overwhelmingly get a better deal with marriage, so if women are the main ones ruining that deal, doesn't it imply that men are such shitty partners the benefits arent worth it? Love how you hamstered this to fit your own deluded narrative.

So you think that the vast majority of 30 yo men are mistreated by their wives? Here's a reality check: Most people are normal, with average relationships that are mostly on the good side. My guess is that this sub attracts a lot of people who were desperate for a crumb of female attention and married the first woman who would give it to them, and unsurprisingly she was crazy because the man didn't vet properly. Now we have a sub full of men who are desperate to abdicate their own responsibility…

He was not just walking around aimlessly, he was walking less than two feet behind me in the same direction while engaging with me. I have also been followed. Happened across a guy I vaguely knew walking in the opposite direction, moment he saw me he did a U-turn to talk to me. I told him I had a boyfriend, he said that my boyfriend didn't have to know about him, and the more I continued to reject him the angrier he visibly got. not their value as human beings obviously ...doesn't this also apply to ugly men? They still have value as human beings, so I don't really see your point here? We're talking about dating prospects for both sexes. /r/PurplePillDebate21/07/20 03:11 PM

But you literally just said in a comment earlier that women who aren't attractive aren't worth anything, so how can a man find plain women attractive in and of themselves? And just like makeup, men can gym/money/social max to become more attractive. Not to mention that most "ugly" men are just men who are overweight and frumpy looking with poor clothing and bad hair styles.

Anyone with options is obviously going to pick the most attractive woman he has available, and it's not just super hot guys who have options. My 5'6 little brother spins plates, my short Indian friends reject indian girls in favor of white girls, average looking frat dudes only date girls from the popular sorority, etc etc. This sub is just full of antisocial and/or extremely ugly dudes with no options who deluded themselves into thinking they're the norm when they're actually way below average …
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/20 02:02 PM

Thing they're worth anything when they're not that attractive themselves. So you just said that a woman's worth is entirely tied to how good they look, and yet you're making a post that women have much higher physical standards than men, even though men's attractiveness can be raised through other means (like job, hobbies, status, etc). 🤔🤔

Lol. Dating can be difficult for everyone because there are assholes at every level of SMV. You date an asshole with lower SMV? Nice at first, still ends up being an asshole. FDS isn't teaching people how to get more men (because even ugly fat cunts have plenty), but how to sift the wheat from the chaff. If you don't know this you don't know anything about FDS.

But it's happened. So, according to you, because fat women have called themselves queens, anyone else who does so is also fat themselves. Following that same logic, anyone who calls themselves a king is fat themselves. But Roosh V isn't fat? So isn't the initial premise wrong? And if the initial premise is wrong, how do you know that everyone on FDS is fat?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/20 12:10 AM
2

So some fat women on Instagram called themselves queens, and now all women who do so are automatically fat? You do realize that fat men have also been called kings on Instagram, right?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/20 11:49 PM
2

But do you still think that everyone participating in the Return of Kings and Roosh himself are fat neckbeard, right? Because according to you, anyone who uses the term king are queen are overweight and unattractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/20 11:44 PM
2

So Roosh V and his entire "Return of Kings" blog isn't red pilled material?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/20 11:35 PM

MGTOW and Terpers who call themselves Kings must be gross neckbeards then lolol

yeah defo don't look sloppy and take care of yourself, but don't focus on looksmaxxing because that'll just increase the quantity of men who approach not the quality.

Red Pill is about how to get sex with giving the least in terms of commitment and effort, get outta here.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/20 11:20 PM

it won't count to men because it's not about becoming physically attractive to them lmao.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/20 11:18 PM
3

Lol you seem to know the women on FDS personally if u can tell their SMV and weight! The truth is that both men above, below and at the woman's SMV can treat women terribly, so saying that FDS must be low value because they've been treated bad is wrong. FDS is about how to select the ones with high RMV from those who are within their SMV. You guys don't know anything about FDS, again lmao.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/20 11:17 PM

You mentioned height and appearance first in the long list of apparent requirements that were supposedly characteristic of the sub. It's not. You ignored all the posts about respect and acts of love to hone in on the rare off-hand comments about physical characteristics as if those made up a significant part of the conversation, because you want to believe that those women are just as vain and superficial as men tend to be.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/20 09:25 PM
1

You just have to be noticeably taller than the girl. My short male friends just date shorter girls ¯_(ツ)_/¯. The 6' tall thing is kind of a meme and most girls would believe anyone who says they're 6 feet if they're taller than them. It's not like we carry rulers around.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/20 09:18 PM
2

The only posts I've seen regarding height is about how they actually like short guys. 99.9999% of the posts are about BEHAVIOR, so to say that the essence of the sub is a focus on height and face is ridiculous. You're just seeing what you want to see.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/20 09:15 PM
5

Vast majority of the posts on FDS are about behavior, not height or looks. You're awfully judgmental of a sub you apparently barely visit, considering all the misconceptions you have about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/20 08:43 PM
3

Where in FDS do they say to only go after the 1% of men? 🤔 The requirements theyve explicitly stated are for well groomed, respectful men with their lives together. Is this the top 1% of men?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/20 08:16 PM

But TRP is anonymously scheming how to extract sex, what's wrong with scheming how to extract money?

Your original point was that women in general are being walked through life, when the things you're complaining about maybe help ~5% (at the very most) of women. Also, do you really believe that women are not discriminated negatively against when you yourself hold prejudiced beliefs about women? Hilarious.

There are no government mandated educational quotas (with respect to admission of students). Is this seriously how you're trying to accept the fact that women are more academically successful while still maintaining the belief we're inherently inferior? Talk about cognitive dissonance. Lots of people are living paycheck to paycheck, have insecure housing, etc. I wouldn't say that most people experience an abundance of resources outside of not starving to death. The rats in the experiment didn't have to work to live.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/20 06:25 AM

This is my favorite experiment but I don't think it applies to our current society. People don't have unlimited access to resources, which I think is actually driving this sexlessness.

I'm sure there's been some. Absolutely no way it's a substantial proportion, much less the majority. But do you have a response for the fact that these "goodies" were already available to these women? I noticed you ignored my question regarding why women also break up relationships more often as well. I'm still curious if you think they're also somehow receiving "goodies". I'm also curious to why you think post wall, divorced mothers all have a rich simp waiting for them outside the courthouse. …
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/20 10:21 PM

Yes it does because if you don’t do it, you have nothing else to compare it to. Do you mean as in any sex whatsoever? In her case that's probably true, but for most (non-shitty ofc) women, better experiences don't really affect the present. Sex for us is like 1-10% of the relationship lol. You guys should be more worried about an ex who was better at emotional support.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/20 07:10 AM
5

So the reason your relationship failed is because your ex was a sex addict? I don't think that has anything to do with being with her being with someone better at sex before. You could've given her porn star sex every day and she still would've done what she did. But hey, you proved me wrong, you're 100% not at fault for this.

There is 0 way to tell which kind of woman comprises most of that sub, so our guesses regarding the matter are going to be based off of our biases towards the sub. You see a bunch of fat, ugly and cunty women pissed they can't have Henry Caville and I just see it as the typical young liberal feminist space with the typical #menarentshit narrative.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/20 06:46 AM
3

Of course there are plenty of women who give and give and get nothing in return. Okay. So do you think these women would benefit from a narrative that promotes greater self-esteem, more selfishness, and information that helps them avoid people who would use them?

FDS women dont feel they need to bring anything to the table Do you only value money as something being brought to the table? If two people went Dutch, would you say that neither brought anything to the table? Also, does it matter to you at all that this is only during the initial dating stage? What about the rest of the relationship? Also I thought Women look pretty and dress up for themselves and not for men? So that isnt a trade off since its only for yourselves. There's a difference between …

You're operating under the just-world fallacy in which only bad partners have bad things happen to them. Until you can accept the fact there are relationships in which the woman consistently gives more than the man, we can never reach common ground. Sure, I'm sure there are bad female partners. But the sub isn't for them.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/20 05:44 AM
5

The TARGET AUDIENCE of FDS is women who have consistently given more in relationships in a way that is not reciprocated. So it makes sense to assume that most of the people on the sub fit this demographic. And most women won't act the same way they do online, no one does. And no, the overall theme of TRP is to take all that you can from women, because men are the victims of women and society so why not.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/20 04:55 AM
4

They don't have trouble keeping men lmao. Men will cheat and still stay in the relationship. The trouble is identifying good men.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/20 04:52 AM
7

Again, the assumption is that these women are already pros at bringing things to the table for the HVM. Why talk about things they already know? The whole point of the sub is to 1.) convince women they shouldn't be doormats and 2.) how to not be doormats. The PUA company only mentioned those things in the video to give you a better perspective on the female experience so you are better able to sleep with women. Being creepy, snide or entitled will lower your chances of getting laid, being empath…

All of the comments here say the same thing. It looks like you've already made a judgement about the typical FDS woman, when there's actually wide range of experiences that women who participate in the sub have. And sure. Dudes who aren't genuinely romantically interested in me won't wait, while those who are do. That's the whole point of making people wait. Men will covertly give out signs they want something more in order to increase the likelihood we'll sleep with them. This gives them plausi…

What you think as girls competing for you attention is probably girls just grilling you, or to see who you're actually going after. I would not call a skeptical "Really?" as an indication of agreement. But let's move on. So you agree that some people enjoy work. Do you believe that some of these people might be women?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 04:54 AM
5

Just because you would prefer not to work doesn't mean everyone else holds this preference. Really? How's that working out for many of them? Not as well as you think. I see this everyday. You disagreed with my statement saying that not everyone doesn't want to work.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 04:47 AM

With regards to your comments about women's happiness: There is no single model that will make every woman happy. Some would be happy as housewives, some would be happy as career women. The gift of modern life is that we get to chose which option will make us the happiest. Just because you would prefer not to work doesn't mean everyone else holds this preference.

/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/20 03:01 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/20 12:20 AM

My point is that there doesn’t seem to be any actual discussion like they have in r/MGTOW2. Top posts from last month? Memes. It’s all very low effort in comparison to TRP.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/20 12:16 AM
2

Yeah, I think this is the right answer. I think I was taking the sub too seriously. Isn’t it weird, though, that often manosphere subs turn into r/vent? Like braincels was supposed to be a support sub for the very ugly and we all know how that turned out lol. FDS was kinda going that way at the beginning too.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/20 12:13 AM
3

That’s where r/MGTOW2 is different from the core sub. They actually do talk about hobbies/philosophies/experiences! The first page of MGTOW is 99% hateposts and memes.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/20 11:45 PM
3

I think I see what you mean. So the sub isn’t for people who want to actually discuss/analyze these topics, it’s more about venting/poking fun. That makes perfect sense to me. But then what’s the purpose of post like these: https://www.reddit.com/r/MGTOW/comments/g1bn8w/men_are_superior_to_women/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf Are these just hateporn or do they boost self-esteem or something?

/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/20 11:33 PM

If a group attracts an unusual amount of extremists, it means that in some way, shape or form that group validates extremist beliefs. The manosphere attracts a lot of alt-right groups because it validates their beliefs of male supremacy (and it does, don’t tell me the manosphere doesn’t see women as lesser). And a person is more likely to develop and act on extremist beliefs if they have social validation from their peers.

Not for the examples you gave. Those seem to be well within an individual’s sphere of control (minus an extremely abusive relationship). I’d feel sad for anyone born with a facial deformity, or who is of a race that is unfairly discriminated against (Asian men and Black women, for example). Autistic or spectrum disordered people, or those with a debilitating mental illness.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/20 10:52 PM

OP didn’t give enough information to determine her position in the market. In the rural, Deep South she’d be a 7-8 easily. Metropolitan east/west coast? Not so much. My BMI is 20.1 and I’m not considered skinny since I’m in the SoCal area (excluding Walmart ofc). She’d be slightly on the heavier end here. 120k a year is a lot in bumfuck Alabama, not so much in the Silicone Valley. It’s all relative, so I say that we should reserve judgement until OP gives more information.

I just wonder why women choose completely different men for settling down compared to the guys she used to date. Why do u expect women to still go for the same dudes they went for at 16 when they’re 30 lol. People change and who they date reflects that. The same thing happens with dudes, who they wife up is not who the same as who they were messing around with in college.

I think you’re the type of person who, in the face of actual evidence for the contrary, will keep performing mental gymnastics to somehow convince yourself that you proved me definitively wrong. You couldn’t prove “most”, so now you’ve moved the goal post to an extremely subjective qualifier: “but is it okay?” And I’m not a gunner, you just think I a…

“Many” is 100% subjective. My figure is not a subjective figure, it clearly shows that most women don’t regret casual sex based on hard data. Therefore it is more valid than a quote that just vaguely mentions “many”. If it was most, they would’ve said the word “most”. In order to make a claim and defend that claim of “most” you need quantitative data. So I have a study that disproves your claim, you don’t have a single one that supports your claim. I think we’re done here. Have a good night.

You understand that both genders had a median of 1? Do you also remember your original assertion was “most” not “more than men?” Do you also not remember telling me that I wouldn’t be able to give you a statistic, and when I do you then move your goal posts to a more defensible position? And I’m the pathetic one?

I’m a woman who’s had casual sex (n=10) and it’s not. I’m going to medical school, have a good relationship with my family, have an extremely loving boyfriend, friends, etc. Some people try to fill voids in their lives by having casual sex, but casual sex does not cause the voids themselves, yknow? I know a girl who was literally a prostitute and she was a hot mess before she lost her virginity.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/20 09:06 AM

Why do we need percentages? You’re a premed saying this? Your source just says “many women” which is extremely subjective. We’re looking for the key word: most. Most does not mean many. You would know this if you had even the most basic understanding of... literally math and the English language. My PI would slap me if I had “many mice exhibited arrhythmia”. I’m assuming your CARS score was trash. Come back to me with any stat whatsoever, you won’t 😂 you tried to attack me and absolutely failed …

Because many conservatives don’t place as big of an emphasis on male abstinence, so people love pointing out this huge double standard.

The study I read showed that women who had an N count of two were just as likely to get a divorce as women with an N count of 10. “Greatly deteriorates” is an exaggeration. But regardless, you’d rather have a daughter with depression or schizophrenia compared to one who has difficulties pair bonding with some man? Okay.

Has anyone here actually gone to college? It’s not like a B-rated college movie from the early 90’s. No one hazes, no ones getting spit roasted in the frat houses, people drink and hookup but it’s not crazy.

Hooking up doesn’t just mean for complete strangers, it’s anyone you aren’t exclusive with. This includes dudes who you aren’t official with but still dating. Also no one gets spit roasted at frat parties, wtf even is this thread? Did anyone go to college?

So... here’s my issue with this. TRPs sidebar has a post called “Women in Love” and it says that women do not love ideally but opportunistically. This is not a neutral statement. Saying “Yes women love opportunistically, but that’s just the way they are, all you can do is accept that.” is NOT a neutral statement. It’s 100% a judgement. Opportunistically is clearly not as good as ideal love, and saying “it’s just the way they are” doesn’t make it better. It’s like another poster said, those who s…

I haven’t really seen a post about FDS lately but I might’ve just missed them? Or maybe are you conflating with BP with FDS? But I would just report and message the mods if it’s a bother
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/20 06:14 AM

Yes, a neck tattoo is obviously a red flag. I don’t have an issue with what TRP determines appearance wise to be red flags, it’s the innocuous actions that make me go ???. Not including stuff like cheating or dating multiple people at once (bc I agree with that). That’s why I used Travon as an example and not someone who’s in the process of a burglary, for example.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/20 06:11 AM
2

Okay, so you’re saying that it is okay that there is no middle ground because women are actually all bad? And that TRP is just stating facts?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/20 05:59 AM
1

I see, thank you for your response. This is a little off topic, but what specific tenets of feminism do TRP have the most issue with? Not “feminists are hypocrites or entitled” but specific theories/ideology. I’ve noticed this sub is good about engaging and analyzing with TRP theory but doesn’t do the same with feminism, and that a lot of people have some pretty basic misunderstandings of feminism.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/20 05:56 AM

I did find the one I was thinking of but looking at it again I can’t tell if I they’re talking about a woman specifically, or doing broad generalizations. The comments have the latter but the post is more like the former.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/20 05:53 AM
2

When have I said a single positive thing about women on this thread lmao. My point is that TRP is similar to the man who saw Travon Martin walking down the street and assumed he was going to commit a crime. Perceiving innocuous actions as something bad, consistently, is an indication of biases, and these biases do not lend themselves to the credibility of TRP theory.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/20 05:50 AM

My point is that the truth is most likely not the truth when it’s given by people who have admitted to negative experiences with women, and who are incapable of seeing any actions done by women in a neutral light, much less a positive one. I’m not assigning emotion at all, I’m saying it’s bullshit.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/20 05:41 AM
1

My whole point is that TRP doesn’t allow for the inbetween. Whether a woman dates someone better, someone worse, stays with them or breaks up with them, it’s all bad. There’s either no neutral ground, or it’s such a small margin it’s not logistically feasible. Anyway, a while back the top-voted post that was stickied by mods was “All Women are Whores” so I would say my representation is a good one. GLO had many similar posts and he was basically a celebrity.

You don’t have to be a woman hater to get women, only to avoid being hurt by them.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/20 04:53 AM
1

You’re missing the point of my entire post. TRP claims not to be prejudiced against women, just stating neutral facts, and yet ANYTHING a woman does is twisted into something negative. They clearly ignore obvious explanations about completely normal behavior and go off of convoluted tangents about pseudo psychological theories that have very little evidence. And these theories just so happen to somehow put women in bad light, everytime. How is this not evidence of prejudice?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/20 04:48 AM
1

So because the vast majority of people already do that, why does TRP have these criticisms?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/20 04:47 AM

What makes you think I have shitty behavior? 🤔
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/20 04:46 AM

I haven’t missed them, TRP has. My point is that there is no room in TRP ideology for women just being normal people living their lives without hurting anyone.

AF/BB, hypergamy, “it’s just your turn” are HUGE tenets of TRP. You can find this shit on the sidebar and numerous, top-posts. This argument doesn’t work because there are more positive aspects of Christianity than vice versa (excluding Old Testament of course), while TRP has far more negative theories than positive ones.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/20 02:27 AM
3

I see what you mean. Then I guess my next question is, why is the focus on TRP mainly about the things women are doing to create this situation, rather than the things men do? Wouldn’t it be more effective to do the latter, considering the forum is made up of men?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/20 02:24 AM

TRP definitely discusses LMR (anti-hoe defense) as being shit tests.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/20 02:22 AM
1

But don’t TRPs also believe that if she doesn’t fuck you right away she isn’t truly attracted to you? That you’re automatically BB?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/20 02:20 AM
2

They are what thepickle was referring to in their comment, which is what you replied to. I was explaining what theories she was talking about.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/20 02:19 AM

TRP definitely doesn’t put these things in a neutral light. Everything I mentioned above are common criticisms. Saying, “women are just selfish. It is what is is, they can’t help it, it’s just their nature.” is not a truly neutral statement.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/20 02:18 AM
6

So they have to be approximately the same wealth and education. You do realize most people date and marry within their own class, right?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/20 02:15 AM

I’m asking how could a woman possibly live her life without doing things negatively perceived by TRP ideology. So I guess your answer is nothing, then?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/20 02:13 AM
6

These things are all pieces of endorsed-contributor ideology and placed on the side bar. I’m not saying every single TRP believes every thing all at once, but a good chunk do. If this wasn’t the case we’d have more TRPs on here saying “I don’t think these things!” instead of trying to explain why they think so.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/20 02:12 AM

Yes, read up on last-minute resistance(LMR) and shit tests. Just sort by best of all time and it should be on the first page.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/20 02:10 AM
3

Oh, by the opposite sex you mean? Men see thinking with hearts as bad and vice versa?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/20 02:08 AM

So if I’m understanding you correctly, you’re saying that there is conflict between both sexes, and this conflict is fueled by the actions that women take as a collective. I’m asking which actions these are specifically.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/20 02:07 AM
3

Why is the latter seen as something negative then?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/20 02:04 AM

So the only way for it to be okay is if a woman dated someone who was exactly just as attractive, just as educated and just as wealthy, even if not doing so hurts zero people? You understand why this sounds crazy, right?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/20 02:01 AM

So what are women doing specifically wrong that causes this negative relationship? My point is that you guys see EVERYTHING as being wrong and the cause for this negative relationship between the sexes.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/20 01:59 AM

BPs aren’t the ones saying these things, it’s TRP. TRP ideology would in fact call your girlfriend entitled for wanting a wedding (she wants the attention, she wants to trap you in a marriage, she wants all ur money in a divorce, etc.)
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/20 01:57 AM

If it’s a zero sum battle, why moralize the actions of women? Why try and paint men as being the morally superior and persecuted ones? Because if it’s a zero-sum battle, men doing the same exact things is just as bad.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/20 01:55 AM

What would overcoming biological programming look like? My point is that EVERYTHING a woman does is seen in a bad light. Dating someone better, dating someone worse, staying with someone, leaving someone. How can a woman live her life without doing these things?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/20 01:48 AM

The data clearly shows that the more religious someone is the less likely they are to get divorced. You’re anecdotal experiences don’t trump research 😪😪. And what would you count as promiscuous? I would think that a 3% difference from those who’ve been with 2 vs 10-20 means that there isn’t a good correlation.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/20 03:17 AM
5

The problem is that religious beliefs are a serious confounding variable for this. Also... 77%? The divorce rate is less than 50%. Edit: Excluding women with N= 1 (and thus removing this confounding variable) actually disproves your argument. Women with only two partners made up 30% divorcees. Women with 10+ partners were 33%. Such a huge difference 🙄

Women’s sexuality is a lot different from men, we (most of us) are 100% satisfied with one man and prefer it that way. Women have a monogamous sexual strategy while men have a polygamous one.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/20 07:55 PM
1

A history of cheating would be an indicator, but not a history of casual sex while single. Some people just like sex, it doesn’t mean they don’t truly love and respect their partners. Although I would give someone the side eye if they were sleeping with someone who was cheating on their SO. That’s just as shitty imo.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/20 07:19 PM

And it’s perfectly fine and understandable to feel that way. My issue is when people try to explain it as something more... I guess sophisticated? Like their feelings are based on a nuanced line of thinking regarding morals and respectability when it’s just down to ickiness. Thanks for sharing.

But you can’t make this claim because women take significantly larger career hits to raise children that still affect them after they leave, tradcon religious beliefs, the fact that women pursue more personally fulfilling jobs over better paying jobs, etc. To take a figure that is entrenched in a complex socioeconomic framework and simply say “it’s because women only go for wealthier dudes!” is incredibly disingenuous.

Yes. But your fear of being inadequate at "being attractive and entertaining for you?" is just your fear, or perhaps experience. And it's ok. You can work on that and become a better person. I have 0.0000% fear of being inadequate. You’re trying to do some armchair psychology shit and it’s super fucking cringe. “A lot” is maybe 7-8 guys a year. I think a compatible, high quality boyfriend is about 1/100. You can’t just tell on sight whether someone is compatible, it takes time. That’s the whole point of dating. I just don’t feel like waiting that long to have sex with someone I’m attracted to if I’m horny.

It’s a little bit trickier with fwb. Basically those people made the cut to be more than just a casual fling but something about them isn’t good enough for ltr status. I haven’t caught feelings yet but I think some of the other parties did :(

But how do you know he was better? I’m saying that just because he was in a frat doesn’t automatically make him super hot, and neither does having lots of casual sex. Just means he was also a hoe fucking other hoes. This doesn’t even get into whether he had more status. I’m in college atm and maybe 5% of frat bros are hot and popular.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/20 05:12 AM

Ive had lots of casual sex. The reason was that I was single and horny. That’s it lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/20 05:07 AM

Exclusively fucking people who are more attractive/rich than they are. I am in college and most frat dudes are plain, so I think this is a case of slutty people rather than hypergamy.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/20 05:03 AM

Wait- so they frat brother was patient zero and the one fucking everyone and you’re using that as an example of female hypergamy?

This sub is getting more rational by the day :( can’t we go back to circa 2017?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/20 05:51 PM

Yeah, but I mentioned age because that was a significant reason as to why I didn’t find the quintessential average man attractive. Even being older than 3-4 years seems to be a detractor.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/20 05:49 PM
6

I’m not attracted to women so that doesn’t really matter lol. I was comparing the average man to myself to illustrate what I found to be the biggest barriers to attraction.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/20 04:28 PM
6

I’m 21, and excluding all of those who are overweight, I do think that the average 18-22 yo dude in my college is somewhat cute. The girls here also seem to be way above average looking compared to the rest of the world. College is a bubble of cute people ig

I’ve been on these subs since 2016, and there’s only been one or two TRP beliefs/theories that I’ve found believable. The rest is horseshit, and has continued to be horseshit for the past 4 years. I’m not even a feminist.

Being born 5’6” is “being unkempt” now. No, but not ironing clothes, getting haircuts, or putting together matching outfits is. Find me bc a woman capable of discussing something deeper than reality TV and we can talk social skills. You're talking to one right now. Women are shallow and dumb as fuck. Studies have shown that women display more empathy, and women are graduating college at higher rates than men.

No, we're just regular fucking people.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/03/20 12:55 AM

You would be surprised. A part of it is that some lesser attractive (but still beautiful) women are more skilled than others at shaking what their mama gave them, mostly because they don't have that prole shame of using their power that so many women are saddled with. So a number of women can twerk and that makes the average woman’s life substantially better than the average man’s. This is nonsense. No I mean getting the job at all, or the promotion at the job already gotten. Previous point stil…

A largeeee part of the sidebar just talks about female nature and hypergamy. If RP was just about improvement there wouldn’t be a whole “anger phase” where men “realize” that they were “lied to” about women’s “true nature”.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/20 03:37 PM
5

1.) Vast majority of women don’t reach this attractiveness and 2.) most jobs have basic, inflexible requirements. No one is making the hot nurse a doctor or hiring the high school drop out in the sales department, and 3.) no professors won’t give you a good grade because you’re hot, exams are graded by random people who don’t know you, most are used to seeing hot college girls anyway. 4.) If all of the above assumptions were true (they’re not), attractive men would also have the same advantages.…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/20 03:29 PM

The main message is that men were “lied to” and that women have unrealistic and unfair standards. Both of these facts lend credence to my earlier claim that the main function of TRP is to remove blame from men for their struggles and place it on society/women.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/20 03:22 PM

Cool but my previous points still stand. 99.999% of women aren’t criminals and don’t receive these scholarships, so how are women, on average, “coddled” or “pampered”?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/20 03:20 PM
9

You said that women (all women) are coddled and pampered. The VAST majority of women aren’t criminals so how are (all) women benefitting from this? And that's just out of who is charged. And even that's just out of who is discovered. Men can hide their crimes as well. Tuition fees - women only scholarships Oh you're not into STEM? Let's BEG you!!! I am a woman in STEM and I spent a few months applying for 100s of scholarships and got 0 for being a woman. I had a 4.0 GPA and numerous AP classes a…

So this one obscure test in a country I don’t live in makes my life automatically easier than my male counterpart. Makes sense. Also... a lot of majors are male dominated, and I don’t see how this makes life for you guys worse on average if there a few female-dominated fields. There’s also affirmative action for males in female-dominated fields, esp. nursing.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/20 03:08 PM

Terpers definitely come on here and tell women that we’re hypergamous whores.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/20 03:06 PM
7

We are telling these men to improve No, you guys are mostly telling each other that women’s standards are too high and that we’re “hypergamous”. Just another tactic to put man’s sexual failures on women instead of accepting responsibility for being unkempt or having poor social skills. Edit: Woowee. Go the fuck outside guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/20 02:58 PM
9

which is worse because women are disproportionately coddled and protected and pampered and given a leg up. How? Women have to pay rent and tuition fees just like men do, and the vast majority of women aren’t criminals, so the “slap on the wrist” argument is pretty moot.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/03/20 02:44 PM

The woman would’ve wanted to have sex with someone she thinks genuinely likes/loves her, not some random dude. That’s the difference. And maybe she only had sex to be nice to what she thinks is her future boyfriend. It’s like two guys make a deal and one dude runs away after getting what he wanted, without keeping his promise and giving the other person what they wanted.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/20 03:51 PM

Yeah but the man lied to her to get sex she otherwise wouldn’t give out.

/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/20 03:19 AM

1.) Taxes go to children and their guardian, which could be someone of both genders. 2.) 90% of child custody is decided outside of the court. Only 22% of dads voluntarily see their child more than once a week. 3.) Neither of these facts even apply to the average woman so I still fail to see how much easier the average woman has it than the average man.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/20 03:52 PM

Most women aren’t criminals, or on welfare (and welfare amount is based off of having children, not being female). So how does the average woman have a waaay easier life than an average man? I’m genuinely curious.

Oh I think I misunderstood what you’re talking about. I don’t think “pity sex” refers to sex within a relationship, I believe the term is used for casual sex. So when you say “consequences for not giving pity sex”, I imagined strange men acting aggressively for being rejected by someone at, say, a bar or club. You compared having the right not to fuck random men as being similar to walking into a favela, which is a very stupid thing to do. Let me explain a bit further: Walking into a favela is obviously stupid, so you would be responsible for being shot/robbed. Not fucking random men isn’t stupid, so we would not be responsible for being raped/murdered. It’s like saying someone is responsible for being robbed because they were walking down their usually safe neighborhood in broad daylight.

Women mature as they get older and find different things attractive - basically a paradigm shift. But then it makes the whole AF/BB pointless Because it is. People mature and their standards change. If the woman wanted hot guy when she was young and had sex with hot young guys, but now in 30s she wants to marry and average guy, would you say her standards have shifted naturally? Yep.

I think it’s just people getting more mature as they grow older. Money is necessary for a good quality of life, which is easier to achieve if both partners can pull their weight. Men do this too btw. While they might bang the Hooters waitress, they’re wifing up chicks who are on their level.

Yeah because of traditional ideas of masculinity
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/20 07:19 PM
2

I’m sorry I don’t believe you. Every feminist thought piece on male emotions talks about how men don’t express them enough. Toxic masculinity was a term coined by feminists to address this. TRPers like to conflate any woman doing harmful things to men as automatically being feminists even if they don’t have any feminist values.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/20 05:43 PM
2

Feminists have been complaining about toxic masculinity forever. So again, why are feminists getting blamed for this?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/20 05:36 PM
3

Hence why men are a majority of victims in non relationship crimes No, it’s because the crimes that affect men more happen on the street. Women tend to not walk on the street at night. All the crimes that happen elsewhere, like in the home or at work, women are more often the victims. But a woman has soft social power that reverses the dynamic. Criminals don’t give two shits about social power. Is a burglar going to care that his victim is the most popular girl in her sorority?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/20 03:49 PM
3

Isn’t the whole issue of men being unable to express and manage their emotions due to the expectation of men being strong and invulnerable? AKA toxic masculinity...? Feminists have been talking about toxic masculinity since the 1980’s IIRC. Why are feminists being blamed for this?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/03/20 03:43 PM

But when you let out your emotions to a woman most the time they tell you to stop being a manbaby and roll their eyes when they hear mens issues. And you’re obviously a nutter, the economy is taking a dive because of corona not because women left the kitchen. We’ve had the best stock markets/GFP in history at times with women in the workforce.

2/3 = 66% rounded up to 70% for brevity’s sake. So do you think that this 70% of men ONLY represents the top 20%? How could this figure work if average men weren’t being included? Men find it increasingly difficult to get jobs because of affirmative action and whatnot. Only the rare STEM jobs have affirmative action. The vast majority of men don’t have this problem. En mass It wasn’t en mass, and if it was, it was long enough ago that any market disruptions have been smoothed out. You’re starting to sound crazy here. Women have been working for a while now, and the economy has only been improving since then.

Okay you have a house you originally spend $500 a month on the mortgage. You leave your wife and children behind a rent an apartment that is, on average, a $1000-1500 on a one bedroom. So then you just buy a smaller house instead. So does your ex wife. You both spend money on realtors, fees and insurance, injecting more money into the economy. Your wife ends up buying a house that’s only 400$ and you buy one even smaller and pay 200-300$ a month on. That’s 600$ instead of the original 500$.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/20 01:04 AM
1

Men will still have to buy things as well, just to take care of themselves. So unless they disappear into the woods, nothing really changes. Instead of a family needing 500$ of groceries, it’ll split into 400$ and 100$. Probably even worse than that because buying in bulk is cheaper. And the service industry is where women have the biggest advantage (more tips) and is comprised of mostly women already.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/20 12:55 AM
2

Well when those men stop working, the value of that labor is going to go up in return, allowing for a comparable amount of money flow. Now before you say that a wage rise will also ruin the country, remember that most companies could raise their wages but chose to instead funnel that money back into their investors
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/20 12:47 AM

And you know this how...?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/20 12:24 AM

Or because they’re also buying luxuries, paying off massive debt or both. I think most people buy nice clothes or a nice house because they just want those things, not because it’ll get them laid.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/20 12:19 AM
3

I mean the scenario is that all men just stop working, so those jobs will have to be filled by women despite our apparent reluctance. And they will be, because the value of these services is going to increase until women are fighting to be plumbers/garbage collectors.

Lol okay, apparently you’re never going to believe that there are people who like bothering women and you’ll hamster everything away as people being dumb. If a man scares me and then laughs about it, his intention was to scare me. If a man drives by saying “nice tits” and laughing, his intention was to scare me. If a man walks up behind me and grabs my ass and laughs at me, his intention was to scare me.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/20 07:16 PM

Saying, “hey nice tits!” Or “hey, nice ass!” As they zoom by in their car is not a pick up attempt

There are people who speak to women with the intention of making them uncomfortable. No one is stupid enough to think saying, “show me your tits” or “nice ass” is genuinely going to get them someone’s number.

I think you responded to the wrong person chief

I’m not gonna count anything that was intended to be a pickup line/seduction as harassment. There are people who just want to bother women because they’re dicks and we shouldn’t conflate the two groups.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/20 05:12 PM

I’m only talking about people who have the intention of harassing people, not awkward incels. I think it’s unfair to say that every bad pick up line is harassment

What generation are you? I ask this because I’m a Gen Z with, no joke, seven brothers and none of them seemed to be getting any messages besides “watch out for girls and don’t rough house with them”, and neither did any of my male classmates growing up. We were all horrible goblins to each other. Only the home schooled kids didn’t know how to talk to girls. Also the “drugging boys” was because when adhd and the resultant treatment was discovered, no one really knew the correct way to diagnose or…

learn social skills I have a theory that most incels have an undiagnosed spectrum disorder. That’s why they rely on information explicitly relayed and are unable to make conclusions based off of observing others. I was a social hermit my whole childhood because of bad parenting and severe social anxiety, but my social skills are still up to par because I observed others. It’s just a theory though.

You had to be warned that women are people and will pursue those who are hot?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/20 02:49 PM

did they literally say, “I’ll date anyone no matter how ugly as long as they’re nice?”
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/20 02:45 PM

maybe they just like being angry at women idk ding ding. if they hamster themselves into somehow being the “victim” then they aren’t responsible for being unattractive/unsuccessful.

Creepy guys will always harass women. Their goal isn’t to get their number but in the interaction itself, where the act of making a woman uncomfortable makes them feel powerful. Also lol girls are still only going to ask out guys they find attractive. There’s really nothing that’ll make dating easier for unattractive dudes.

Lol did they? Got a link? I do (basic science) research as an extracurricular and the problems with the study are HUGE

Women don’t come for men who are too broke to even cover their half or are very financially irresponsible.

Anywhere from 12$-15$ for my meal, his was a little more expensive at 15$-20$. So 27-40$ for the both of us maybe once or twice a month. After we were official we started splitting it down the middle, even if my food was way less. I didn’t care and he didn’t care because we’re normal people.

Quick look at Wikipedia says that the study was not able to be replicated with the same data by Harvard, and that the researchers secretly used an undisclosed and unvalidated way of measuring the dependent variable. Further investigations found a bunch of other shady shit. Not saying that the phenomenon not true but the study definitely can’t be trusted.

Who goes to an expensive restaurant on a first date? I mentioned $12 because that was how much my sushi cost on my first date with my now boyfriend.

Cos of traditional ideals about male chivalry that still exist in the 21st century for some reason

Yeah for the same job it’s the same, but because women either don’t go for the big paying jobs or because they sacrifice more for a family life, there’s a disparity. The latter is harder to fix but the former can be tackled.

FDS serves to tell women ground breaking theories such as: have standards, stand up for yourself, if he doesn’t pay for your $12 sushi he probably doesn’t like you, etc. lol Literally a rip off from Farfrombaysic and I’m mad I didn’t think of it first and karma farmed

Men make more on average so bringing up that average is equality
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/20 02:15 PM

So you want to empower a specific group of people. Do you: A.) encourage them to go to college and get well paying, secure jobs or B.) tell them to be janitors/garbage collectors/miners, and get paid less.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/20 04:55 AM

Feminism promotes economic equality so why would they encourage women to take lower paying blue collar jobs?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/20 10:45 PM

Im pretty sure there’s more liberal women than conservative lol. I think more women supported al gore than bush but I could be wrong.

I think the girl in your story just plain wanted to cheat, knew she was being a scumbag, and then had those justifications as damage control or something. Maybe I’m just too neurotypical but I doubt she actually believed everything unless she was crazy
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/20 03:30 PM

So someone told you that girls don’t like hot guys? And you believed them? And you’re blaming women for being this gullible?

I saw a few incelesque things in the manosphere before braincels was banned, but after it was ramped up by 1000x. It’s why the normies made r/mgtow2 lolol
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/20 03:14 PM

Serious question: How didn’t you realized that girls like and will pursue hot dudes?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/20 03:10 PM

They think women are literally wired to be extremely manipulative and opportunistic, so they say women love opportunistically while men love like they’re in a lifetime movie or something. It’s weird.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/20 02:12 AM

There’s stuff on the side bar that has shit like “women can’t truly love” or “women are inherently amoral” so no, TRP was not gods gift to feminism

There is a caveat: we don’t do those things for ugly losers. So if you were wondering why, there you go.

Why would we do the work when we don’t especially value casual sex?

I’m not apparently entitled to fuck women who can see their own toes. Nope. Ironically you called women entitled and yet you’re here whining about not being able to fuck. Typical.

What I wrote is just an excerpt from the link. I absolutely completely disagree with him and actually find it very offensive he thinks men would lose control when they see some skin.
/r/MensRights06/03/20 03:42 PM
2

I mean men aren’t animals. And because of that, all rapists chose to be rapists. You can’t force someone to rape just because they saw too much skin.
/r/MensRights06/03/20 03:40 PM

Men aren’t animals and can control themselves. Rapists chose to be rapists.

I honestly get the impression that he genuinely believes those women deserve it because they were flirty or dressed up.
/r/MensRights06/03/20 03:19 AM
3

So you disagree with the way he worded this, but you agree with the basic message? He’s saying that the victims of date rape were essentially asking for it. Or are you of thinking something not as extreme?
/r/MensRights06/03/20 03:08 AM
1

Yup. I just hate the whole “all women have it made in society” when it should really be “all young white attractive women”.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/20 11:17 AM
1

Only young white woman have innate value. Old women, fat women, dark skinned women don’t. I was ugly and people were mean and then I became pretty and people were nice. Our only “innate” value is being attractive, which not all of us are born with.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/20 03:02 AM

Ugly women are invisible lmao. I’ve been ugly and I’ve been uber hot and the difference is night and day.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/20 02:53 AM

So both genders have to make themselves attractive to get attention. More news at 11.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/20 02:47 AM

Yeah and men don’t care about how long I’ve dieted, or how much money I spent on makeup, or how much time I’ve spent learning to be attractive. Also most of the manosphere dudes online are crazy (linked to alt-right and neo-Nazi groups) and are actual misogynists.
