Should have listened to you all.

Opened up to girlfriend about "muh feelings". I stayed so strong at first, I was vigilant in guarding any bit of weakness. But that BITCH. She practically begged me. Pleaded with me to open up to her a bit more, that I keep everything bottled up. She promised she wouldn't judge me for it. I actually trusted her (dumb, I know) because of how sweet she was to me all of the time. How gentle and kind, how she would go out of her way to make me happy. So I told her about myself, including my weaknesses and failures, how I am insecure sometimes and feel anxious and lonely. I wasn't overly self-deprecating, I was honest, so surely, I would be safe, I thought.

Less than a week. That's all it took for her to immediately change her personality 180, start acting incredibly hostile towards me, before breaking it with me and blocking me everywhere. I was utterly blindsided. Now my days are filled with a mixture of incandescent rage and deep sorrow. Rage not at her, but at myself, for allowing myself to be vulnerable like that. How utterly stupid I was. I KNEW too, that it would end this way. It's happened before but I TRUSTED her, because love makes you act retarded like that.

Let this serve as a lesson, fellas. Never, ever, under any circumstance do you make yourself vulnerable to a girl you're dating. She will, without fail, tear you apart for it. Save it for your mother. Save it for online. But never her. They are all like that, all of them, they all possess an unyielding capacity for cruelty no matter how sweet she is otherwise. This really is a golden rule - no matter HOW MUCH they convince you they are different, no matter how much you think you know her, you have to remain steadfast in guarding your weaknesses. Late last night, Hurricane Laura made landfall in SW Louisiana, leaving hundreds of thousands in Lake Charles and the surrounding area without power or water. Obviously it's still early, but based on news reports and eyewitness accounts from people I know from the area, the damage from the storm is the worst in recent memory, exceeding that of either of the last two major storms, Rita and Ike.

If any of you live there or have loved ones there, im so sorry for what you are going through. I have been there myself. This just adds insult to the injurious suckfest that 2020 has been so far, and i hope relief efforts get underway soon and you find peace and shelter.

As far as this site goes, there is virtually no coverage of the still active storm on either the homepage or /all, except of course for the no fewer than 3 top posts on /news and /pics about how the hurricane took down a fucking confederate statue, as if that was the most noteworthy thing about a category 4 storm making landfall in a populated, oft-neglected, low-income part of the country, where something like 65-70% of the population is black and struggling the worst right now because of the pandemic.

But no. The hurricane is actually a good thing, because it knocked down a fucking statue of some 19th century asshole you didn't even know the name of two days ago, but now you're glad because at least mother nature is actually just sticking it to whitey in the local government, who voted to keep it up, right? Not actually targeting the majority black population hovering at the poverty line who are now well and truly fucked with limited hope of full recovery, right?

Honestly I've been lurking here a while, and I think a lot of what you all say is catastrophising. We all have flaws but I'd say a good 80% of humanity are trying their best. I've been accused of 'chadsplaining' by incels, being a blue pill soy cuck by redpillers, and being called a 'good boy' or something like that by women. I'm considered really attractive as well, but I used to be fat so I've seen it all. Just relax and breathe. My first ex-wife sent me a happy birthday on Linked In.

It got me to thinking....if Covid-19 is a bigger deal than 9/11, it will no longer be true that 2 of the biggest events in my life happened with her mouth on my dick.

The older I get the more I genuinely don't think women can be lonely, I mean sure they can be lonely in the kinda "I'm surrounded by friends and family and a boyfriend but I feel lonely"(See: bored) kind of way, but not in the genuinely soul crushing isolation and desperation for human connection and intimacy sort of way.

It took them slightly more than 30 hours, but a bed in the ICU finally opened up for my father. They want to keep him at least one more night for observation

Despite this, he’s claiming zero pain (even without painkillers) and he managed to sweet talk some nurse into giving him a charger for his phone so we could text (he’s not supposed to be looking at screens)
