I’m also a wrestler in high school and when someone says that I usually agree and amplify. Never get emotional and say “I can beat your ass”, just roll with it and if he doesn’t stop just ignore him.

Oh I see, well that’s another story. Lifting generates confidence, boosts self esteem, and overall makes you look and feel good. Having said this, the cross country team at my school lifts like 2x per week so I don’t know how it is in your school but guys should be lifting sometimes. Ask the coaches about this, and evaluate what’s more important to you.

Was in the same boat about a year ago. Don’t tell her. Start lifting, focus on your hobbies/school, and game other girls. Keep her around but don’t be her girl friend. That’s how she sees you even if you think otherwise. She’ll eventually get jealous and start paying you more attention in which you have to take advantage.
