Something stand out almost immediately the difference between full-time employed volunteers men and women is 8% I looked directly at the chart and for most organizations the differences are not that huge with the lowest being 0.1% difference. What I found very interesting as hell straight up rude this is considering that the differences are so small here's something that came out "One common explanation is cultural expectations. Men are often conditioned in America to think that they should devo…

The question literally has nothing to do with that at all. Not one bit I do not know how you're connecting it to this

Don't know about this whole autistic thing now certain things can and cannot be measured when an absolutely can. Objectively like a couple things you said are not even relating to what I said You're just starting a conversation based off a topic that did not discuss. I never say anything about making the Mikey more I'm just saying is the flow one way more than is the other in general I'm more likely to give someone money because if you know friends and if you know friend give me money. Also the work bit. Men work on average 4 more hours a week compared to women so in general seems like it averages out to be equal work

As some one who has volunteered and currently does I can assure you women volunteer more simply because they are more likely to be the stay at home parent/ stay at home wife.. and even with that it's not that big of a difference. Women also get survivors benefits because more often than not men will still die first. The sick think is spotty but true. What's also researched is that women were 33% more likely to divorce their husbands when they lost their job.

Could be a unique experience could be an overall fact I know that as far as individuals I am consistently asked for emotional support and physical support and financial support. Almost to an annoying degree it's like a multiple times a week type thing. I still help I'm getting a little burnt out from it of course but The last time a woman did something for me was on my birthday and it was a friend. I've helped out with rides counseling someone after a breakup getting someone food and all that. A…

But that's legitimately nothing to do with who I posted I'm asking you if there should be a punishment in general She doesn't even have to get pregnant It's still in many opinions some type of assault. Do you have opinion on that?

That has absolutely zero to do with the question here at all. Like I specifically pointed it out

You definitely did not need to go out on a limb to guess I'm a man It says it right there in my tag 😂. But going back to the point I think it's telling that you have to use yelling as a key point of communication or going through the density of your stubborn husband You've pretty much have trained your relationship to only truly communicate by heightened emotion representation. And yes I'd rather have change behavior than a fake apology. And that goes both ways yelling is not a prominent thing i…

I have not once in my whole life seeing yelling that didn't have any of the predicators of the four horsemen or more specifically hostility, or critisim. I also have not seen a lot of yelling occur where immediately still willing to listen to a lot of things without a lot of work. I think you're focusing a lot on the yelling itself which is valid But I think the partner drafting or not acknowledging is the fact that yelling comes with a lot of baggage attached to it That is detriment
/r/PurplePillDebate22/12/25 07:19 PM

I do think you have to look deeper than that because yelling along with contempt is a symptom of the four horseman. If you're yelling something serious has already occurred. Also sites harsh starts to interactions as well. Even in stable, happy relationships: When conflict begins with hostility, defensive sequences result.

No call message moving mean you're failing but yelling in a relationship is an absolute that you have failed somewhere. It's not surprising that you say you don't need to cite it back and that's okay. That's why I expect within a highly emotional framework You don't have to prove your thoughts you just have to feel them and feeling is a false sense of objective validation. That's interesting you think yelling is acceptable but snarky contempt as a button pusher for you? I think that's a little t…

Dr John gottman. A renowned couples therapist: Dr. John Gottman, a psychologist whose work is widely regarded in relationship science, identified communication patterns that predict relationship breakdown with over 90% accuracy. In his research he and his team found that certain negative behaviors during conflict — notably harsh communication styles — are strong predictors of relationship dissolution. While yelling per se isn’t singled out as a stand-alone “worst thing,” aggressive, hostile, or …

It supports communicating emotions not yelling at people and also you're missing some of the core components of emotional intelligence but good job on the basic overview the ability to communicate in healthy ways. There is not one healthy therapist or person who says yelling is the best way to go. Actually there's a guy who does examples of responding versus reaction. Just because you feel validated and why you would yell doesn't mean is the right decision to yell. Was your approve of a man yell…

I think you’re arguing against something I didn’t say. I’m not saying emotions are irrelevant, and I’m not saying people shouldn’t be accountable or apologize when they’ve caused harm. What I am saying is that emotional escalation is not the mechanism that creates accountability or change. Accountability comes from naming behavior and correcting it. Apologies matter when they’re paired with action. Validation acknowledges feelings, but it doesn’t fix the underlying issue. Wanting regulation and …

Lol It's interesting that men get what I'm saying even when they disagree but ladies don't this is not an insult just an observation. I guess another way to put it is that there's too much emotion in the conversation You can talk as much as you want when you're disagreeing with someone and I actually support that. But when you are just talking about feelings versus working towards solutions then I consider that a problem

I think it's objectively valid. Women are the first to say men are not good with emotions and they also say that it's detrimental to a relationship so you would think by their own logic and standards to women would make better relationships.. also validate this by looking at how my female friends feel about advice they get for me I noticed that when you talk to other women they get feeling space advice when they talk to me they get practical advice so I told my friends go to your ladies if you w…

Is actually valid in some cases but this wasn't really relativeism It was just different standards and desires altogether It was usually a semantics thing I once watched a video with a woman literally flips out because the husband made the bed for the child and the orientation of the dinosaurs wasn't the way she does it.. objectively that has been the correct way so the kid would be able to see the dinosaurs almost eye to eye The wife made it by the way she was looking at the bed. I think you feel that I'm not the co-regulation partner. But if you used reasonable thought process you're saying that the guy who's talking about don't be overly emotional is not the guy you can come to , to help calm you down? I am Definitely there to reasonably get someone off the emotional unstable high 😂.

Tell me in any literature that trying to solve bigger issues off the back of an initiated smaller issue is the best way to solve it? And I would say that any person not just women who brings up a wider array of issues in the heat of the moment are not doing it with a clear mind it's usually with some anger

Emotional outbursts can be understandable in some moments. I’m not denying that people have them or that they’re human. What I’m saying is that emotional intensity does not help resolve problems or preserve relationships. Regulation does. An outburst might make sense emotionally, but it still doesn’t do anything constructive. It doesn’t clarify the issue, set boundaries, or move toward a solution. That only happens once emotions come down. You can behave emotionally. Everyone does sometimes. But…
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/25 08:14 PM
1

What you’re describing isn’t emotional expression solving the problem. It’s co-regulation. Co-regulation works by reducing emotional intensity, not increasing it. One person stays calmer so the other can settle. The resolution wasn’t “more emotion.” It was de-escalation. That distinction is exactly what I’m talking about. Literally in summer you said my husband was angry and I called him down
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/25 08:06 PM

And you are right about what it relies on but the variables within those things it relies on are severely different sometimes. For a lot of women expression is the goal. For a lot of men resolutions are the goal

Okay now I know you're messing with me. Emotion levels should not have heavy impact on a solution If I say hey I'm hungry right now The solution is going to be to eat. If I say I'm so effing hungry and I don't want to deal with anyone that's probably going to start a little bit of a problem a slight argument and then eventually you'll find something to eat .source- dating women since I was 14. I would like to say on one side those are interpretations of certain things. Man who has lived with a woman before I've had heart to hearts about things that were fixed the deeper communication Was it poorly done or do you have a particular way about things. Did I forget or am I not on your timetable on when you want things to be done etc. I've had the same issues and they were fixed by communicating. Absolutely it's unreasonable because emotional outburst solve nothing. Can she do it absolutely. But by almost pure definition she's not trying to solve anything. You have emotional outbursts when You're trying to purely express things. And I'm not going to stop anyone from doing that if that's what the moment is. But if you're trying to resolve something emotional outburst does not help out at all

Lol. My whole thing is a communication. Whoever if you're just breaking down into emotion that's not good. I don't know what's counterproductive here I think most therapists would agree that an emotions are high connection is low. I never not said one time that you should not talk to your partner. But if I did please go ahead and quote it for me. What's even crazier is that even in my post I didn't say don't talk I said I'd rather go to a arbitrator. So you're wrong in like three dimensions. Emotions are emotions logic is logic. I'm literally talking to someone and this post about how expression of emotions fix his problems. Logically that's false emotionally it can be anything she wants it to be. My feeling is that I want to use logic to try to resolve problems. Logic is not an emotion in the same way emotions aren't logic. Emotions can be anything and are hard to disagree with. Logic is a flowchart

By literal definition they don't solve problems at all these are at best key points within problem resolutions. These are not the solving of the problems. If I tell you I'm angry and that's it that solves nothing. If you tell me I see that you're angry that literally solves nothing

Oh man that's kind of tough that you can't see which one it is communication. If I tell someone hey I'm tired this week let's go out to dinner today That is communication. If you say you never take me out anywhere that's exacerbation

Nope not that many variables. Just say what you want plainly with solutions. It could be true that the person hasn't taken her out in a long time. You can still communicate in a way that also brings a solution. I think of that one episode of the show I used to watch. The woman says it's cold out there and the guy says well damn what do you want me to do. I always was curious as to why she didn't say hey let's go inside or can I use your jacket or hey I'm going to go get the jacket right now and …

You’re right that a lot of men drop the ball on effort and empathy. I’m not defending that. Where I think the disconnect happens is how problems are brought forward. A lot of women correctly identify an issue, but stop at expression instead of moving into solution design. Saying “I’m overwhelmed doing all the housework” identifies the problem. It doesn’t resolve it. Resolution looks more like: “I need help. I’ve thought about it. Here’s a fair split that accounts for our schedules. Can you handl…

Validating emotions validates emotions. By definition that does not solve a problem. All that does is say yes I see you have a problem and I can see is detrimental to you. Expressing emotions by definition is just expressing emotions. It's like you're proving my point almost verbatim
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/25 07:27 PM

I hear your point, I counterpoint with the fact that talking is not fixing in the way that just saying something isn't equal to doing something. Kind of in a way that some people think that if you don't show passion that means you don't care. And those are part of a relationship in my opinion not the relationship If you're talking that's half the battle if you're talking with intent that's the whole war. If you're leaving that's a answer. If you're trying to come to a resolution that is the solu…

Interesting, I don't have that issue usually but I think it's my approach I do invite emotions I just don't like when I becomes debilitating part of the interaction. I want them to feel happy I want them to express sadness and want them to express any emotion that they want. I just don't want it to be a crutch. But yeah that also needs to be said that men have emotions too we just don't want to be the fuel to our interactions sometimes and I think that's a benefit
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/25 07:19 PM

If you want to argue that being overly emotional when trying to solve problems is counter productive, that's a completely normal take. I had to go back and reread what I wrote and I think that's actually exactly what I said lol. The first paragraph and a half pretty much talks about the indulgence of being overly emotional
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/25 07:16 PM
4

No, that’s not what I said at all. And I think you’re kind of proving my point by reading what I wrote entirely through an emotional lens. Emotions are essential. They’re how problems surface. You feel something, you react, you bring it up. That part is good. Necessary. Where it becomes a problem is when emotion doesn’t stop there and instead drives the entire process. Staying emotional throughout a conflict doesn’t create space to reassess, regulate, or actually solve anything. It narrows persp…

I strongly disagree There's a difference between a green to something that has a 1% chance of pregnancy versus 30%. People specifically go through processes to reduce risk with any type of contract verbal or nonverbal You have to clearly be presented with your risk and benefits

On a slight tangent I personally would love the option of not riding with people who have their dog in the front seat. More options for all seems pretty chill in general. I support it. I hear what you're saying. However saying that 5% of relationships have this issue can be dismissive to a lot of people so it can actually derail a conversation. Most issues we have in society are not high overall but they're impactful. Well considering that I'm black I think it's probably more of a hitting point for me considering that black men like me used to get hanged for white women lying about rape. And considering that with the innocence project men of color specifically are getting out of prison due to depression of evidence, prosecutor misconduct, and DNA evidence I think I have a good reason to think this as well. Okay that's not what the study said at all. It kind of shows that you're not really paying attention to things. It went into detail that's why men are more likely to cheat than women It's nothing to do with being biologically male It's all based off the things that are skewed towards them. And because of that they already find out that if it applies to men and then you apply it to women they have a higher chance of cheating as well I advise you to go look at those studies

I would disagree that outliers are not meaningful. I would agree that it currently does not affect any policy. It's not a male supremacist thing to be concerned that someone might lie on you and that there isn't any known policies that heavily pursue these people who after investigation beyond the reasonable doubt lied on you. But in general policies change all the time a lot of time for the better It's okay to pursue different things women should advocate to make life extremely difficult for vi…

Okay yes absolutely let's go back to that . Women and men are terrible cheaters This is a big problem and we should definitely focus on why men and women cheat because they are absolutely going to be equal as far as recents. Nothing could be learned at all by focusing on why men treat specifically even though statistically they do it more. Spreading and tension to spectrum cheating will give better solutions. Even though existing studies on this already give us an answer as to why this happens Y…

That wasn't that type of post my guy. I literally also mentioned how 1% of men are violent and how that shapes policy. This wasn't an analogy about how 10 % invalidates assault this is an analogy about how outliers still shape policy and overall social concern. But if you want you can rewrite that portion for me and I'll interject it so it will appease you 😊. Or You can write a post about how 90 to 98% of accusations are true and then I will post on your saying wow you're not mentioning the 2% t…

Let me rewind a little bit and most studies and resolutions to a problem you don't apply your resources and understandings broadly You pinpoint on the problem so you can understand it first. Saying all people cheat and looking what you can do to make it so all people don't cheat will not make a bigger effect than concentrating on why men cheat and making a gallatarian rules based off that your focus should be on where the problem is heviest 😊. This is why when trying to feed the hungry you don't…

I think this is mostly a wording issue not necessarily a breaking down of argument. I think the issue is that you're pigeonholing the argument when I'm trying to make it a little bit more broader. In general as a man I am going to consent to having sex with a woman without a condom only if she states that she has some type of birth control I take the risk and nuances associated with that. If a woman has birth control it is using it honestly and she gets pregnant that's it I took the risk and I s…

It or is it to go deeper we think of it as a social Construct when we're trying to defend ourselves in more of a hard line when we notice faults in the other gender.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/25 08:09 PM

I hear what you're saying in the first glance that should be the way to go about it But in reality a lot of problems don't do well when you're trying to fix them by spreading it across the board. For example some places give you a flat penalty if you speed. If you say well everyone should stop speeding we're going to give them a $200 penalty when they speed. For poor people that could be debilitating for rich people that could be your license to speed for that day that's probably like 30 minutes…

Most studies look at self-reported not by investigation so these are men and women admitting that they're treating
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/25 07:41 PM
0

Couple studies is not that big of a gap but it's like 50% more so it can be like 16% women and 23% men. The God is decreasing and also it looks like it's also a correlation between positions of power and a relationship. The guess is because things are becoming more equal that's why the gap is natrowing
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/25 07:40 PM

I specifically used stats that came with proof in my examples. And what you're saying actually doesn't negate what I said at all. Even with stats people can still say that's not a gendered thing
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/25 07:36 PM
-2

That could be a good point! Also do you think it's a defensive measure? Like a man says women cheat too that kind of dismisses the fact that socially and studied wise men do it more
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/25 07:32 PM
1

Oh no. I think you missed the point I said specifically in the body that I'm not talking about forced abortions or anything like that I'm not talking about parental rights. But the illegality of the act itself
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/25 06:59 PM
4

I don't know if I agree with that rationale. Where it is illegal it's not based off chance of getting an STD is the fact that you change the type of sex you consented to.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/25 05:23 AM

I mean it's not too difficult to prove of you were told one thing most birth control has some type of paper trail. As someone forgets to take it I can believe that but someone straight up just does not have it then that's easy to prove
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/25 05:04 AM
2

Gotcha so you should be smart enough not to be a victim in this situation! I understand and agree with you But I'm asking you just for your own consistency if you're saying it should always be responsible within your own mantra then you in a way don't have any reason to sue someone
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/25 04:55 AM
2

So you're saying that if one person tampers or lies about any form of birth control that they should have no repercussions? Because it's on both to have adequate birth control?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/25 04:51 AM
3

Yes they do and there's someone lies about using or having these do you consider it something The man should go to jail for. Same as if a woman gives you a condom with a hole in it or lies about having her tubes tied
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/25 04:49 AM
1

Well it's still depends on someone remembering when to take it most likely which is not nefarious as I myself have been with women who have forgotten to take their birth control and I would get upset but wouldn't be angry cuz I know people forget
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/25 04:34 AM
3

That's an interesting way of looking at it. Because in this situation the person was never on birth control they're just saying they are so the person is consenting to a specific type of sex. And also in the cases of vasectomies of a man lies about a vasectomy or not there's actually no hormonal differences before or after as well. As far as the definition of rape fraudulent representation is included and if you fraudulently represent yourself as someone who is on birth control then yes technica…

Yeah of course I agree with that. I imagine when mail birth control comes out it's going to happen the same way with dudes too
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/25 03:49 AM

I would just do it like this for IUDs and depo those actually have to be traced back to a doctor. If us can subpoena your records and shows that you didn't ever have those put in place then yeah you broke the law for the man if they have a procedure they just have to prove it. I'm not saying it isn't difficult what I'm asking for a specifically is if it should be illegal
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/25 03:48 AM
2

Being hard to prove is different from It should be illegal a lot and actually it's not that hard most type of birth control has some type of paper trail It is very unlikely that you can get pills or IUD or anything like that without some doctor prescribing it to you. A lot of things are difficult to prove but still illegal The question is if it should be illegal and my belief is yes
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/25 03:33 AM

You can sue but it's not illegal. Would you support making it illegal versus just punitive damages
/r/PurplePillDebate19/12/25 03:13 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/25 10:48 PM

It's pretty tough too because like objectively what they're saying is it wrong sometimes it's just not what's debated at that specific point. It's like they Like the point of what is being said so they changed the point to something they can agree on
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/25 10:28 PM

I have to disagree with this of course this is all antidotal but going off the fact that when men and women argue in a relationship women do normally bring up a whole bunch of other things unrelated.. I do believe for this specific thing it is more likely gender than it is not

That's a very interesting take that I've never heard before. I will say personally just for me before I even got on Reddit I would notice this in my interactions with female friends. So I wouldn't say it's necessarily from any religious sentiment. But that's something to think on and marinate. Maybe there is a point of view I'm not considering
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/25 05:42 AM

I agree with you that men make up a majority of crashes and accidents. But the study wasn't on accidents This is based off being stopped and what happens afterwards. That's assuming that you're stopped for a good reason why is it that women are less likely to get ticketed put in jail and other things I have no disagreement that it still would result in less incarceration than men but there's still something to be said by the fact that mostly you guys have less initial touches by law enforcement …

That's the 100% true when it comes to how police interact with different genders just based off this one study about police stops You can Google it Racial and gender profiling can affect outcome of traffic stops. You are 25% less likely to get ticketed if you're a woman, 55% less likely to be arrested in 76% less likely to be searched. This is a known thing. This is also a felt thing. We could talk about the future when the future comes. We're talking about facts over feelings babe 😘
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/25 05:06 AM

I mean one can say that in general women are less likely to be arrested initially in the first place It's only until recently that they changed the rules on how to approach domestic violence. I mean I've seen a few videos where a woman is actively trying to beat up a man and the woman was just told to walk away.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/25 05:06 AM

I'm not arguing your facts. And it doesn't Make anything crumble. This is a unrelated thing to the core aspect of my post. But if you do want to get into it Most managers in the USA are men. Most women take jobs that are unrelated to anything that makes a lot of money and more likely to relate and feelings. Women usually take on more debt than men to graduate college. That would be a completely different conversation altogether. The main thing was a question. I gave a antidotal experience to give you my point of view. /r/PurplePillDebate15/12/25 04:46 AM

Yes but a majority of child support is either being paid fully or paid on. And there are definitely reasons why child support isn't being paid most likely they are in jail or being punished or dead
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/25 04:43 AM

I mean you can just ask another man of a single mother or talk to some of your single mother friends who have boy children.. I'm telling you as a man who was a boy and as someone who has friends who raises boys. I've yet to hear the boys will be boys phrase in my life without it being said ironically.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/25 04:41 AM

I wanted to give an example. It's funny you say that too because I gave you a specific example about how someone doesn't and then you're responses women are better. Women can be better at a lot of different things this specific woman is not 😂.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/25 04:39 AM

I think you might be confused a little bit. That in which you said the statistically true. It is already accounted for. It's a statistical fact. However if a man who cheated said my wife divorced me for no reason that would be an example of a man not wanting to take accountability. Now If a woman chooses to date a man with a violent past and then someone says why would you date some man who's known to be violent then they say wow that's victim blaming I would say it's not. If a woman is upset th…

70% of all child support is either in the range of fully paid or partially paid. And there are a whole bunch of factors that can go into something being partially paid. Also some of the fathers who are not upstanding gentlemen could just be in prison. And no I don't think that's fair at all. /r/PurplePillDebate15/12/25 04:19 AM

It comes from the responsibility that the adults in their life tell them. This is one of the things that women can be guilty of too. They call their young boys my little man my little king the man of the house I do everything for him. Etc a child boy or a girl should be in a child's place and women contribute to that just as much as men do
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/25 04:15 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/25 04:10 AM

I like that point out. Self-reflection is key to a lot of the times I criticize partners or female friends about not taking accountability.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/25 04:08 AM

Curious do you think it's inappropriate to ask "why" or to criticize when someone had a perceived option to avoid a bad thing happening to them ? In all situations? I had a friend who woke up This hotel room robbed he was obviously drugged by a prostitute. We asked him why would he hang around prostitutes at all. We felt bad for him but it didn't negate the fact that he had the ability to avoid the situation altogether. I guess what's the fine line between victim blaming and criticism?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/25 04:07 AM

I hear what you're saying I like your examples and makes it easier to digest your point of view I think it's interesting though because I kind of see it like this: more often than not regardless of a man takes responsibility for something or not the ramifications are thrust upon them. But for women they usually have to accept the ramifications. For example if a woman cries during an argument with her partner he is expected no matter if he's valid right was too strong or very gentle to do what he…

I truly don't know what you're upset about. And I didn't even mention that those women were upset with other women. They are obviously not debating with themselves about this. I think you're a little bit lost. You're making connections on things that I'm not even alluding to. I am clarifying things with you as you need and you're still adding more things on... Why ? I keep on talking about struggles and you're talking about women aren't the arguing amongst themselves?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/25 09:03 PM
6

That is a struggle they're literally complaining about being approached and not approached. People are having varying struggles within society some don't like being approach others want to be approached. You're literally saying "you said not everyone agrees.... You must think women are a monolith. " I gave you varying examples about how different types of women are struggling and you are saying yeah they're not a monolith and I am agreeing with you. Do you understand the words that you are sayin…

That's interesting that you believe that I listed off a couple of examples and you assumed it would all be feminist. Also my point in this is that women have their own struggles that don't look exactly like men. So I'm not saying that they are a monolith I'm saying the opposite that women suffer in different ways. Also I want to repo out that it's very strange that I pointed out different types of scenarios with women and you're saying oh they are monolith. 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/25 08:53 PM
12

Okay let's be a little bit more obvious on this one. There is real life and also there's a whole page of feminist that their core questions are literally how can this thing that's ultimately my responsibility tie back to the patriarchy. There are whole conversations about women with kids who cannot find a man. There are multiple pages and conversations in real life and online where women are like why don't Men come up to me anymore. But also them saying I don't want men coming up to me at all. T…

I mentioned this before they are complaining about the unfair parts mostly. The things I don't make sense or the things that don't have a lot of consistency
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/25 08:39 PM
5

That's avoiding having kids all together. If you were to get pregnant and husband, boyfriend or male stranger who got you pregnant did not want to have a kid and you did Will there be a easily accessible right They can execute to make sure they have no parental responsibility at all?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/25 08:26 PM
6

As you should you should have all the rights to it I'm saying about it man should have the right to completely opt out of being a parent of that's what they so choose and this should be not too complex at all. No one on either side of the gender spectrum should have the sole choice and making someone a parent or not
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/25 08:21 PM
0

I mean yes that's opinion people can have those but I don't really see anything that says women shouldn't have this one right. You could be better or worse than anything. But I don't see any big movements on this post or in real life saying " women shouldn't be CEOs"
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/25 08:11 PM
1

Yes no one is disagreeing that people who voluntarily go into the military want to be there. But I think it's very telling to work so hard against something that everyone can admit is very unlikely to happen anytime soon. And it only became a point only when things started to get a little bit more equal.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/25 08:02 PM
14

Men whine about the unfair parts of feminism rather than anything else really. I think you'll find some of the most prevalent anti-feminist points is how you want the benefits without the consequence or byproducts of it. For example I remember when putting women in the draft was a talking point in national news and women were like yeah we got straight up remove the draft versus say yes men have had it to where they couldn't get a driver's license or something like that if they avoided the draft …
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/25 07:53 PM

Yeah that's absolutely agreed. However it's still happening The main point is all the benefits are happening regardless of people like it or not. The detractors of equality is something you guys are definitely even not speaking about are heavily against
/r/PurplePillDebate14/12/25 07:47 PM
6

I kind of agree with them OP. It's often where if you have healthy boundaries for yourself in ways of being able to communicate that well that the other person might not like it if it's against the response they want to hear. So with that I think a lot of women who want emotional intelligence do just want emotional validation. Imagine a situation when someone says hey I don't like the fact that you don't like to help me clean on Saturdays. And instead of them saying you're right babe They say we…

If you were treated like a man while still being a woman you would have less sex with women. If you were emotional like a woman but treated like a man you would actually be worse off. Emotional men in the workplace are almost always seen as threats.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/25 04:45 PM

I agree with The part about women getting the baseline. We are so much more careful with women in the workspace and in most general spaces because we know how They can perceive us as a threat more often than not

If we talk about specifically the work place what I notice is that the women are given more praise for the same or less work. It was actually a noticeable point of contention within the workplace that the men felt like they were not getting enough recognition for the work they do. interesting point about additional expectations What I find interesting about that is that I see that too however it is definitely swapped work like we all have an expectation for the day sometimes the women would get …

Thank you for adding your perspective. It's very interesting to see how women perceive how men are treated by other men. Mostly I feel women are treated with kid gloves compared to other men. The results would be the same The only way that your points look strong is if you look at percentage increase. If you do per capita end by total I believe your point would still be lower because leaving someone because of sickness it's just so rare. Statistics can be crazy when telling the story so we have to be a rare that's why I can say the following and it's true I can say you are statistically more likely to die in a hospital than at home but if you're very sick please go to the doctor

Job loss raises divorce risk by about 30-40%, and serious illness in a wife increases divorce risk by 5-6x but job loss is FAR more common. Roughly 5% of workers lose a job each year, meaning most couples face unemployment at some point. Meanwhile, major illnesses like cancer, MS, or stroke have only a 1-3% risk in early and mid-life. So even though illness has a stronger effect on divorce when it happens, job loss creates more divorces in the real world because it's statistically way more likel…

I don't get what you're getting that exactly Are you focusing on the smaller portions of male origin divorce ? I'm a little bit confused. It won't change the statistic on it women still introduce 70% of divorce. Leaving because your female spouse got sick it's still one of the lowest reasons Aman divorces his wife. So you may try again but men aren't the one leaving primarily it is women.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/25 05:34 AM

No most people do not become terminally ill in the earlier parts of their marriage it is significantly rare. As someone is dying due to old age is the most likely scenario for healthy relationships. and even with that being said the rate in which a woman is likely to divorce a man after he loses his job is higher than a man divorcing his wife when she gets sick

In summary when you are quick to leave certain situations you don't have the opportunity to make them better and for it to be in depth. By no means am I saying to stay in something that ultimately doesn't suit you but I do believe there is a clear difference between calling it quits too early and really giving it all you had and considering that a lot of the reasons women step away from a lot of those relationships while at the same time heavily push introduction into those relationships means t…

Sure, with the caveat understanding that about 75% of all divorces are not due to cheating at all.

Cheating in general makes up 22- 25 percent of all divorces. There's no real stat on admitting who cheats or not in the USA. The main one was women who admitted to cheating which was 15% of all divorce by cheating

My person. Then it would be an actual divorce. Stay on your own topic that you mentioned your kind of changing and giving what ifs. Even with that divorce due to infidelity makes up 25% of the reasons someone might get divorced That means 75% of the time beer divorcing for non- infidelity reasons. So if you have accounts with that I'm willing to listen to it but please bring up some type of statistics that back it
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/25 02:37 AM

I did some more research and called it estranged or long-term separation. 2% of all marriages end in long-term separation and of those 50% of those become divorces so 1% chance that your marriage will have a non paperwork divorce and even if we say 70% of that 1% is men , it would still be dramatically lower thin women initiating 70% of all divorces.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/25 02:29 AM

I just responded to the same statement. In mathematically does not equal out and it's a very rare thing to leave a marriage without paperwork being done It's anecdotal.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/25 02:27 AM
-13

This is a rare thing. Very very rare. To the point there is actually no study I can find on it. But right now women are initiating 70 to 80% of all divorces. Doing some quick math If we were to assume that men are leaving marriages without filing paperwork at the same rate that women are divorcing with paperwork that would mean that the net marriage rate would be zero.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/25 02:26 AM

Yeah you can. You can have hypocritical opinions anytime you want. You can have a double standard for yourself You can hate women approach you but specifically be upset that they don't approach you anymore. I don't think it's healthy but it definitely happens. The topic was women's responses to men's emotions and how they seem to want us to suppress them and be vocal about them simultaneously. And how it seems contradictory and confusing. Men's emotions are the secondary aspect to it the primary driver is women's responses to it. Men respond to things that can induce a level of disapproval That is not a new thing I am not surprised about that I am surprised that women don't have consistency and what they look for when it comes to what a men should do …

You know as I'm going through these responses I have to ask you a question I mentioned it earlier but I wonder if a lot of emotional responses are just seen as explosive? More often than not I feel like men do give proportionate responses even if something irritates them. But showing any type of distaste is often seen as threatening. So I guess what's the emotion and women are saying kill all men are men are trash? If you say it's anger as well then it would mean that most of the time they are the starters of a lot of anger
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/25 06:44 PM
4

I am starting to think women only recognize things as anger. I never said the only valid responses are anger. Maybe the problem is women are everywhere response or non response as anger. Again I think a lot of women on this post are going to a bigger extreme that even led toward in my main post. This is taking a turn and I feel it's because the turn you're taking it's one that you can actually have a better footing on. I'm not talking about rage I'm talking about general proportionate responses. I think on this post there was a response where God was like women don't want responsibility of having to be nice to men. I think we kind of are. I was listening to something about emotional intelligence and something stood out to me. For this to work one person has to be the more emotionally calm individual. Considering that a lot of women want to be able to emotionally express themselves without any repercussions men usually have to be the calmer one. On this post alone I see a lot about how women are afraid of men flipping their crap. And that's a valid concern. However there's no mention of they themselves bein…

😂. I laughed a little bit at this. I think that is the main answer right there. Emotional response expectations. Even if it's unreasonable. It's interesting Let me ask you a kind of meta question. In a way when men do respond to certain things is it truly that we don't respond how you think we would or is it possible that they know it's going to get us irritated and that's why they say it?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/25 05:00 PM
9

Let me ask you this. Where's the emotional intelligent that when you're upset that someone has a response to something you say? And I'm not talking about going off the chain because no one should. But when someone hears all men are trash and then says hey men are trash and then that woman responds with you're proving my point You can't really call the man not emotionally intelligent.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/25 04:49 PM
5

No. I don't think it's like that at all I think it's more like You asked for cold water You get the cold water and then you're like so typical of you to give me cold water. Then when we give you room temperature you're like you know I want It cold. Going back to the main point in the post there is a thing about fashion men publicly without any provocation.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/12/25 04:48 PM

It sounds like a scapegoat but it's kind of true. There's a whole plaster of reasons why certain models could not work over here I mean you could do it but it'd have to look dramatically different for example you can't talk about the Japanese judicial system without acknowledging the fact that the state can keep trialing you. People are so afraid to commit crimes because of the way the system is. Certain things work because they have certain infrastructure set up for it
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/25 09:45 PM

You're arguing a different point I don't think any man is going to say that men don't commit most of the violent crimes. We're saying we at least want them to be charged fairly and equally when it does happen.

At this point is a known fact that the law is not applied equally especially in punishment between men and women. It's already studied. It is a known fact that women get punished less harshly for the same crime compared to men
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/25 03:59 PM

I don't think most women really understand that. You have a good chunk of him no population wondering why the DoorDash girl who went into someone's house while they're drunk and knocked out It's going to prison It might be on the sex offender list now. And if they did the prison population incarceration rate wouldn't be going up compared to the general female population. It would be around the same or go lower.

I have a two-part response to that. I have seen feminist and non-feminous women say they don't want women who lie about sexual assault to go to prison and they have defended that point aggressively. And women wouldn't say they don't want criminals held accountable they would say that the patriarchy is oppressing women and there's something wrong
/r/PurplePillDebate02/12/25 03:51 PM

Wait are you saying that in this example that we've been talking about. "I would like to see you" is brutal? And isn't the original scenario of would you like me to come over dependent on them being very direct but also in a non honest way? Being a furniture feelings it's not unheard of for women. It seems like the issue is when it comes to positive vulnerability. Unlike direct communication as well sometimes. This is why you have women who say why aren't men approaching me. Some men are just to…
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/25 03:54 PM

Good response. I guess the nuance question I have is what's a healthy response to something like this. Beyond the scope of getting what you want versus getting what you need Is it healthy in a relationship You have someone gives you something deeper you fight over something shallow? Objectively would I as a man be considered a healthy person for example if I asked for sex and she took time out of your day to do makeup get her hair done and buy lingerie and I say now you should just came in bed w…

Oh absolutely I don't think I'm being contradictory here. There's a slight difference and when I'm communicating here is that my peace makes you want to ask if I'm not at them versus not automatically assuming that I'm at peace. If I was walking around irritated then it's a healthier assumption now when someone asks me I give them a direct answer. I don't flip out about being asked. It would be like if you're eating something and someone ask you are you hungry? Lol
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 04:02 AM

Yeah I don't consider a weaponizing competence if it's really just not knowing something lol. Maybe I'm more forgiving. I've never flipped out on a woman for mistakes that small

You know have everything you listed here I'm really willing to fight about to come over if you want thing. Because it is honest. I like it if you come over out will not be heard of you choose not to. I hear you. Now if she talks about flowers a lot or if she's a amateur arborist I think that would come up naturally for me and for most people. However the way I think men look at it or a lot of men look at it is like this I want to do something nice for her \She has been mentioning how she needs a vacation soon but she can't afford it \I can afford it so I will pay for it. I guess it comes down to masking. I do strongly believe a lot of people especially women mask who they really are in the beginning of a relationship. I don't do that I'm pretty upfront about what I like don't like willing to give and want to receive and also how much flexibility I'll give. It's always kind of a ripped lash for me when things change and you're like whoa this is not who I got with before. For me personally it takes a lot for me to Make the choice to commit to someone. Yeah thank you for understanding where I'm coming from. I think more into it is that in my case performative romance versus natural romance are two different things for me performative means you're doing it for the sake of versus natural meaning because you are kind of compelled by yourself to do so. Look at it like the difference between marrying someone because they told you they need to get married before they turn 35 versus you marrying them because you can't imagine your life without them t…

Sure those are legitimate communication issues. I think we're alive women get lost at is that they don't believe they themselves don't fall to this. And that they demand some type of grace They just assume that they're putting in more work simply because they're more expressive about this. Yes you should definitely listen if you say light milk five times yes there's an issue there but it does not correlate to being taken seriously or not. It just means they're not good at certain task. Outside of the meaning for it though Do you think it's fair to have a heavy emphasis on something like flowers especially a flowers or not a significant thing in your life but more of a romantic checkbox. For example I really like bracelets if a partner brought me a bracelet that would mean a lot to me. If they did not buy me a bracelet it would not be a detractor. I think you're kind of reproving my point. You're like skipping everything else I've been saying and specifically focusing on the flowers. flowers don't mean much they're just fulfilling something you want which into itself is not a bad thing but it's such a small thing that I can't really give you any depth. I bought a plant for someone I would not do anything else for them past that

Great response. No She never asked for flowers she was just upset that I never got her any. Which goes to a deeper point of communicating needs. It's a stupid need like can't be punished for something I never knew directly. And I do have to contest a little bit about what you're saying on the considering her emotional needs part and it kind of goes to what I'm saying in the post If I'm doing all the other things for her that are caring about her emotional needs and I don't do one of the things i…

I have to disagree there is no burden of communication. Being direct with your needs is one of the most healthiest things out there. It's okay to want intuitive pre-action however there should be no conflict and having to directly state your needs That is not a burden that's just leftover residue of people liking having their needs met proactively without communication as a child. We are all adults and sometimes you have to ask. And asking it's okay. Making a narrative is not okay. If I am able …

I think it's pretty interesting that a minor detail of what's the occasion can assure you someone cares about you or not. Objectively flowers mean nothing. Anyone can buy any one flowers it's not a specific thing I am not in a relationship with you if I were to get you flowers it would be a nice gesture but it wouldn't really show I care about you. There's a lot of jerks that will buy someone flowers and it means nothing it's just going to the store.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/25 02:27 AM

Mind reading fantasy is destructive. It is a definite plus and also can happen intermittently that you can be in tune with your partner's needs however there is absolutely nothing wrong about being direct about what you need. In fact being able to convey my needs and desires directly to a partner and it being well received is definitely a huge desire of mine.

Oh of course not. I just don't think she had a healthy habits I think one of the issues that some people do is they conflate unhealthy habits in a relationship with someone with non-compatible communication styles. I think we agree on some parts. Love can be shown and love is shown in so many ways. Performed is a different thing. For example I had an ex who cried one time because I never bought her flowers. However I did buy her a printer that way she wouldn't have to keep printing things for her dissertation going to the store. Everything is human when a human does it but it's not externally validatable because it's something you feel to be true. And within communication there is a sensitivity of words that hold different Wait. If I am quiet check in and say hey everything is good? Versus are you mad at me rings two different conclusions. Online conversations may be exaggerated, but the real-world fallout for men is real: women asking for money, OnlyFans funnels, paternity scares, false accusations, and mixed messages around consent. Men carry wounds too, they just get less cultural permission to speak them. Stealthing is rightly illegal. But if a woman lies about birth control, it isn't considered assault, she faces no legal consequences, and the man is still financially responsible if pregnancy happens. That double standard is …

If a husband says he is not the child’s father or another man claims to be the child’s father, a court may require a genetic test to determine paternity. I hear what you're saying in your response I just think it's a little wild though that people can say that patriarchy harms men and then say forget that when we try to eliminate things that harm us. I'm very confident that I would lose a friend. It's also a confusing thing because allows women to say they do not like it when some guy wants to be friends with them when in reality they want sex/ relationship. But they also I just general hated when guys don't try to get to know them as friends first..y closest friend is a woman. I've seen her half naked. She ask me if I think she's pretty. And invites me to thinks. I tried to make a pass at her once and she straight up was not chill about it …

Very interesting I have a question I've never been to domestic violence therapy but I have done couples therapy just for general relationship maintenance. Our therapists supposed to call out abuse as soon as they hear it for example it wasn't to a recently I realized I was financially and verbally abused. Or are you supposed to be subtle with that. Because every therapist I want to never called that out. Even my current therapist does not call what I went through abuse

If you go to a mall and expect that no one will try to sell you something you're crazy. I just say no thank you and walk along. No one's entitled to my time and that's why I say no and the social contract is we both part ways at some point. That's why no one's on the internet saying no one's trying to sell me stuff why is that and no one's another side saying no one better sell me anything

Vibes are deceiving and change quickly. Ive been told I was like a brother to women who sent me nudes and we're obviously flirting. I've dated and had sex with women who by first hang seemed like they wanted nothing to do with me. I've had female friends who went over guys houses they were not attracted to. There was a whole comedian who went off vibes and almost got cancelled. Vibes are dangerous

I think there is a lot of things that are mutually understood even if you have defer an opinion. For example almost everywhere in the world is acceptable for men to pay on the first date. You can have a different opinion on it You can talk about it but 85 to 90% of the time it will not be your problem If you volunteer to pay and are a man.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/25 09:02 PM

I'm kind of disagree there is a general thought even when individual opinions defer on a lot of things. Most people will not get mad if you stop them and asking for directions if you do it respectful. You could have an individual opinion on it and you can even be against it but it's commonly okay. It's okay to offer someone to drink if they are at your house especially water. No one gets upset
/r/PurplePillDebate24/11/25 09:01 PM

Of course. I have free will too. But I know in civil interaction I can't punish someone for what is commonly understood as a non toxic approach

Strangely I saw a video of this woman who was hitting this man over and over and then this masculine presenting woman came by and punched the woman in the face and she said don't you ever put your hands on a man. At first I was like wow the woman didn't deserve that. And then after some self-reflecting I was like wait that's exactly what we would do if the genders were flipped and that would be the right thing to do

Agreed I also want to say that verbal abuse is very prevalent and hetero relationships from women even when everything is going well. It doesn't happen all the time but women do love to be rude or mean

I hear what you're saying. I think there is a little bit difference in that as a man or a group of men who call a cat fight a cat fight that's from inherent bias and cultural conditioning and maybe just personal understanding. But for those two women in that fight they are really trying to mess each other up. So I can call two women fighting a real fight or kids at play but in reality they're really trying to hurt each other. And that comes up in relationships verbally or physically sometimes wo…

I think there's kind of two levels to it. Making a point hits are definitely valid. I do that everyone does that. But there are women who do hit men out of frustration even minor frustration. But for the last few weeks I've been looking at certain videos and kind of rolling back in my own memories plus the memories of when I hung out with male friends when they were with their girlfriends or wives. Well of course you want to find someone you vibe with. But historically and socially the vibe ends up being that the man takes more of the provider role then the woman on average. I'm saying before kids come along women have the opportunity to set themselves up to be providers for a man and give themself an easier life and that's why I mentioned the most talk to example still not stepping into a role that a love women and especially feminist fine toxic or unhealthy. Are you saying that any woman who specifically looks for the mal provider is inherently looking for an unstable / unhealthy relationship dynamic ?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/11/25 07:56 PM

That logically does not really make sense. You would just have one joint account with two credit cards. That's what people do in healthy relationships even if both people are bringing money in most of the time they either have their own accounts and a shared account for bills or they put everything into one account and then have multiple cards. You should not have two separate accounts unless you have two different incomes.

I'm going to apply an argument that I myself don't like a fight usually but it seems very accurate for this. Everything is worse in the worst case scenario but an average scenario this is just not how it works house budgets and income tightly budgeted. It's less like you the case of not wanting someone to do something with the money is more of the case of not being able to. No you brought up slavery so I was using something from that time as well not that as much backbreaking labor in child labor is happening now. I think you're not understanding my reasoning. My thing is if you are scrutinizing what women are owed you have to also scrutinize what women are giving are more specifically those who do house labor. What is a fair wage for someone who also has access to the thing more than you? If I am missing from the house 9:00 to 10 hours a day for work and they are there most of the time how…

I recommended this before to a woman who said she does too much in the house And she feels she is in value. She did not like that answer It actually got very upset

Correction on a few of those Statements you made. I wasn't saying it Should be the case. In fact I am against it . And these are things that I didn't make up these are what feminist themselves give as options. Also sex is a mutual thing and is intimate not domestic labor. And logically if someone's working in the home and they are compensated and they do not contribute to the household financially and they wouldn't get any of the equity they put into the house art any other finances. This is act…

I looked at as much variations of this and then looked at the downfalls It doesn't look like there is a system in place that would support this while not having drawbacks for women. Or a general net positive. In most cases it ends up being a wash in the most liberal of cases

/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/25 05:40 PM

But you would think that you would teach your children things that you yourself are frustrated about right? Considering chores is essential to everyday home life You would assume they would be taught how to do this next to cooking basic food and showering
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/25 04:54 PM
1

Oh I agree with you. You can't blame your parents as adults. But you can still blame your parents that's why they didn't teach you other kid. Learning things as a kid 100% helps you out. So it is a curious thing why don't mothers teach their male children how to participate? I think it's a fair question
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/25 04:52 PM
-5

Of course. I'm an adult who lives alone I keep my kitchen clean and I was raised with all boys so we were taught. What I'm saying here is a lot of people learn habits from their childhood why aren't mothers teaching their boys how to participate in household chores?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/25 04:44 PM

I kind of low key disagree with this. I can't think of a generation a women who are happy with the way men contribute to the house hold. And seeing some of my peers and how they treat their kids I think women are still perpetuating the same behavior they say they don't like.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/25 04:43 PM

It's not as misleading as you are presenting it to be. The fact is usually the victim has to say yes that person is the person that assaulted me or raped me. They don't usually just find someone and say hey here's your person. You have to corroborate it. As far as the real attacker it is very possible that there is a real attacker. But you'll have to lie or not be sure who it is or if you were attacked to incriminate someone who genetically didn't match the DNA.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/25 03:27 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/25 12:55 AM

From everything that I've read that's actually not true The majority of rape allegations that fall through are because of the inconsistency of the accuser, not incredible evidence and / or he said she said situations. There are rarely any cases where it slam dunk and it results in a non-conviction
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/25 12:35 AM

I'm not trying to invalidate sexual assault I'm trying to talk about how when it's not valid here's no major ramifications of it You're arguing a separate point.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/25 11:57 PM

False accusations are already a criminal offense They are just not pursued heavily. And again this is more along the lines of egregious and very self-evident I even possibly near yourself evident fabrications. Usually something becomes criminal if there's an offense to an individual and it's in the best interest of the state. False accusations hurt society as well. If you spend time effort and resources on the case that shouldn't even be a case then that's a problem If someone's in jail then tha…

I agree and disagree with what you're saying in some parts. If we use the same standard of threshold for guilty or not guilty then it would be fine to go after false accusers. Now in some examples that have brought up and that I've read some of these people are obviously guilty. Either text messages or self-admitting to things. And I would say SA compared to other crimes as far as the standard have to be fair if you accuse anyone of any crime there must be sufficient evidence. If there is not su…

You would have to equally say that there was an insufficient evidence to say that an assault did happen. There was absolutely enough evidence to have benefit of doubt considering every other explanation would be absurd
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/25 10:39 PM

I agree I would say it this way There's a case of false accusations that is so overwhelmingly blatant we should make an example out of them. I have absolutely seen cases get overturned because the one finally admits that she was wrong or she lied and that woman does not get sent to jail. Look up the story of Crystal Magnum She accused three specific guys of Raven her none of their DNA were inside her later on she goes on to murder someone and then later recants on the initial rape charges. Couple of things: You can't sue Uber because they have clauses that make it so you can't. Some have and gotten their profiles reinstated You can sue the rider who lied on you and some people have done that successfully. But Uber in general doesn't want driver suing riders

Only part I disagree with is that women and men lie equally They lie equally in general but men are less likely to lie on someone to the point that it hits the legal system https://www.prosecutorintegrity.org/pr/survey-over-20-million-have-been-falsely-accused-of-abuse/

But how about the men who are victims? I don't agree with your statement but if I were to say you should at least go after the women who overwhelmingly lied what would be the problem in that? As far as your second part I didn't defend them I said I understand what they are trying to say because when males use the psychological terms which are rarely they are least all incorrectly saying it around the same way. It is not an excuse. It is saying I understand their dictionary. You're making some big jumps to some big conclusions.

Oh my . I'm literally talking with you and you are not a comment that agrees with me. And you can see evidence against your statement if you look through the comments

No I think by opening sentence outside the title was " more and more. The first response to you was men can do this. And then my responses in a couple different comments here it says that women are more guilty of this. I never said that only woman can do this. I specifically pointed out women Without dismissing men having the ability it's just that women are more guilty of it :-)

Yeah I think you might have commented in that and I don't know if you remember that lady was noticeably nicer and more agreeable with the woman who disagreed with her and observably nasty with the men who tried to call her out

Yeah I don't know enough about that topic to accurately agree with you or not but yeah let's say yes. You can write about that on your post with your details informations and opinions. This post is about a whole different specific topic

I think you're looking at it from the wrong point of view I think with everything men and women can be very guilty of in certain ways and that certain levels. I think the difference is there are people who are the prime offenders of a certain thing. And women be violent yes. Is honest to say women are the same level of violent as men very much no. That's the type of thing and process I'm putting on for this. men and women Have the capability of incorrectly using psychology base words for their o…

Yes you are correct. My belief is that women are way more guilty of this than men. Your response is not an intake of revelation. I'm not trying to be sneaky about it It's pretty obvious

I think you're confusing two things. Do we know the definition and apply them accurately? I think yes. Can men be wrong about sexual assault and harassment. Also yes If someone doesn't believe you're telling the truth that is a lie However if I called you a liar because you hate men That would be the incorrect definition. You're arguing the wrong point here
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/25 02:23 AM

Yes, I believe that there are some men that do accuse women of those things. Do you think men overwhelmingly use the wrong definition of gaslighting, manipulation, narcissism, hysteria, lying ? Women can lie Women can gaslight Manipulation is a thing in relationships as well I've met more women who defend hysteria then who say that they aren't hysterical sometimes especially during period times. And I invite you to look up signs of narcissism in women when in a relationship. P.s. Not all women j…

I mean we can play the semantic games all you want I mean one could say you are doing the same thing by assuming that there isn't a difference. You can't on one hand say we're both doing it and then say you need to cited examples within your most recent report you would have to say I am completely wrong which contradicts the one you said previously which is no you're being one-sided. You kind of have to choose a lane here. But outside of that I can kind of extrapolate by using anecdotal evidence…

I have eloquently described the difference between the two gave examples and all that good stuff. Can you pinpoint exactly how it's different since you're so eloquently concentrating how it's basically the same? I'm curious if you can see the nuance and what my argument is :-) Thank you Just to show you that I understand what you're saying I'm assuming what you're trying to say is that the varying levels of the misidentification of words does not matter it's the fact that it happens itself that …

No not at all. I mentioned that many can be guilty of this as well. I think this is one of those things that are women dominated and honestly very unproductive. Dynamic redefinition of words do not improve well-being of anyone. Be consistent. This one's on the ladies men have a lot of things to be guilty of.

No,. What I can say for sure is if a group of people are consistently using it wrong that means it was conveyed in a way that can be defined as such. It's stagnant. If a group of a demographic use a word in varying ways that only work to their own benefit then more incline to believe that it's being abused. Is like when people use the word irregardless and correctly. I know exactly what they're trying to say because everyone uses it incorrectly in the same way. Now if there were five or six diff…

I actually low-key thought about that myself lol I did something like that last week when I asked what does emotional intelligence mean to you. I gave some examples in my post and the woman said I was wrong but they were other women in the post we use some of the same examples and no one was calling them wrong except the men. I found it very illuminating
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/25 10:13 PM

No it's not right at all. However if it's fairly consistent for a certain population then you at least have a chance of having a steady conversation and are not weaponizing a word or phrase. It makes the infringement more palatable. You can't communicate with someone if they're constantly changing the terms. At least when you talk to dudes you at least know what they are trying to say and what they mean

I think that most mens definition of gaslighting would be mostly the same. As far as your example I can assume it's something along the lines of women telling men that looks shouldn't matter, don't be shallow and they like men who are kind. Then also hearing women say of course looks are important, preferences are great. Nice guys are the worse etc. I think men are fairly consistent on what they think gaslighting in(opinion) however a group of ten women would probably come up with 8 different me…

I don't know if there's a full connection there but maybe there's a couple things I can go along with that. That I can connect to this. There are many times that divorce can be building up for a while but there are also times where women hold on to things and explode at the last moment or in a way that's not well received. I could definitely try if I value that person. The fact is though I would never deliberately date a person who would choose forgetting a birthday as a reason to start a huge argument or to potentially break up. But just to be fair historically it's not that deep. You just mention something a week before and say hey my birthday is next week You got something planned or should we try something now. I can honestly say I've never flipped my limb for someone not remembering my birthday and it's happened before they have felt sad and they were upset with themselves and I spent a good chunk of time consoling them. Thank you. What I think is happening that I see on many topics between men and many women is that let's just take this case for example If it's not emotional labor that a woman would do then it is not considered emotional labor. Emotional labor: “It’s their 30th I want them to feel deeply loved and celebrated.” Mental load: “How do I plan it? What’s the budget, guest list, timing, logistics?” One is heart-driven .carrying the desire to make someone feel cared for. The other is brain-driven carrying the steps required to make that care tangible. And that one is easy as far as some men not knowing what to do to help. It's because a lot of men when they try to help they get yelled at for not doing it right which in truth i…

No, computers emulate us ,not the other way around. And most of what you’re describing sounds like basic life management. If you’re single, you’d still be doing those things for yourself. Calling them “unpaid labor” inside a relationship turns partnership into accounting. When I got my ex’s food, I didn’t call it forced Uber Eats. When I helped her while she was sick, I didn’t think of myself as an unpaid nurse. It was care, voluntary, human, mutual. And let’s be real. women don’t exactly hide t…

Remembering little things is not emotional labor. That's a long line of regular labor. Again I feel like that's along the lines of home admin stuff. I could turn my phone into a calendar reminder that wouldn't make it an emotional thing. The next thing is just you being worried in controlling your own feelings. That wouldn't be keeping the peace It would just be letting someone be stressed and not stressing them out more and your example. The only one there is reducing aggression and forgiven hi…

But isn't that in most relationships It goes back and forth? I mean using your first sentence written a man working overtime so his wife doesn't have to go to work be emotional labor? Though I consider it to be just actual labor? The second one seems like the first one Actually the third one is just the first and second one. All three of those things pretty much are the same thing.

/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/25 07:16 PM

You know I will say though that it looks like it's almost too well moderated If you look at their top post most of it has nothing to do with feminism It reads more like a magazine talking about makeup when it does the social progression of women in a patriarchal society
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/25 07:10 PM

I don't know about that sometimes it's trolling sometimes it's real questions dismissed as trolling. It's okay to be uneasy or not like a question but you can't immediately identify it as trolling sometimes. I go over to ask men and they do a pretty solid job of policing themselves. I was actually really impressed on how well they were able to call people out men and women
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/25 07:04 PM

You know what's crazy about that is that I've seen them debate topics and take hard stances on situations that were proven false. Remember that lady that got hit in the head with a brick and we found out it was fake? They used the whole situation to prove how men are trash and no one came to protect her but when someone posted about how it was proven fake there were people still defending it. I hear what you’re saying, but I do want to counter a bit. Requests to go to therapy are often emotionally led, especially by women in relationships. What’s really happening is they’re hoping the man will shift his structure based way of thinking to fit their emotion based one. My concern is if we already know emotions can distort reasoning and escalate conflict, why design a resolution model that leads with emotion instead of structure? Why not blend the two, but make structure the anchor? If w…

Don't you see how you yourself say You don't want to resolve a problem unless you are validated first. Meaning that your feelings about the situation mean more than the actions of the situation. And unfortunately this lines up a lot of things when it comes to breakdowns in relationships. But it's interesting you say that men feeling the desire to be right as a problem but you're also saying validation is important to bring first. I mean I think this way , if someone is conditioned to add emotion into things that don't require heavy emotion that's kind of something you need to train yourself out of. Do you remember when women were testing men by pouring ketchup on a counter to see if they would clean it up? The dreaded bear conversation? If you wanted to he would? These were things that were self-inflicted emotional wounds when reality these are structure and logic required.

I think what’s getting lost here is that my title, the body of the post, and nearly every one of my responses have stated the same thing I am not against validation or emotion. What I’ve said, repeatedly, is that they shouldn’t lead the process. So I have to ask. why do so many people keep responding as if I said validation doesn’t matter? I was using that as an analogy to show how effective that structure can be, not to say human relationships are machines. I think you bought up business? The point was that in both scenarios, validation or acknowledgment is the initiator, not the end goal. Even in customer support, the "I'm sorry you're experiencing this" line isn't meant to be the main event - it's a quick empathy bridge that leads straight into problem solving. In real relationships, the same principle applies: acknowledging fe…

Thank you for the link ,you're right to point out how validation is foundational, especially in high-conflict relationships. But I also want to know that things were more logical in a relationship It would be less likely to evolve to a high conflict relationship. So here's the nuance I'm making: I'm not saying validation is unimport…

Oh you're actually speaking in my area .I work in client management and I think you're missing the nuance of what I'm saying. You don't go into an office with the goal of validating feelings.you go in to fix the problem. If the computers are down, you say "let's get them back up," not "I understand your frustration." Validation is part of communication, but it's not the lead. I see this in customer service all the time: when reps spend too much time trying to make people feel good before solving…

But again that's feelings telling you that, not logic or structure. There's emotional weight when you collect things versus letting things off constructively as it happens. I mean technically if you really think about it when you're emotional and hold on to things you actually build the platform for resentment You can't resent someone easily if you don't allow it room to grow. I hear you and I think your point is valid in some ways but with talking about being resolution first you wouldn't get to the point of the straw that broke the camel's back. every time straw was on your back you would handle it at that point . Emotions tell you to explode until you had enough. logic says be clear be concise communicate that your back is not meant to hold any straw instead of thinking you have to be strong enough to hold all the straw until you collapse under the weight

I think you're saying the same thing I'm saying. Be actionable be structured still you can validate after you start solving stuff. But if your circle drinking up around emotions and validation You're literally not solving the issue You're appeasing and then some people's cases patronizing someone
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/25 06:27 AM

I never said not to state your problem I said not to make validating it the main event. There’s a difference between identifying what’s wrong and circling it emotionally until it grows. Validation should accompany resolution, not replace it. Otherwise, the conversation becomes therapy about the problem instead of progress through it

You’re absolutely right acknowledging perception isn’t the same as dismissing it. But I don’t dismiss anything; I prioritize. Being emotional or presenting perception only works if one person momentarily suppresses their own reactions to make space for the other. But when both people are emotional at once, conversation collapses into noise. That’s why I believe in logic-first resolution, not because it rejects emotion, but because it gives both people a structure to exist within it. With validat…

That was the action. It was literally solving the problem not validation. It was actionable, It was a direct plan. And it was The logical conclusion 😁.

However again I want to restate that it's not bad to have limits If certain things become too much in some situations I support leaving or escalating it just can't be the first set of tools

If you're asking me would I rather remind a wife of a task she's supposed to do and then have a solid heart to heart to see how we can make it more efficient. I don’t want women to think like men ,I want women (and men) to be resolution-focused. Logic isn’t a male trait any more than emotion is a female one. Both are human tools. Therapy, in my view, should help us strengthen both: the structure and the empathy, the resolution and the validation. But when it comes to solving recurring conflict, structure and resolution should lead . with emotion and validation supporting, not steering. Saying "I appreciate you" without addressing the issue doesn't actually show appreciation - it just verbalizes it. But saying, efore I try to understand everything you're feeling, I'm going to remove the problem that's causing you stress so we have space to talk about it, that's appreciation in action. Solving the problem first doesn't erase emotion.it creates room for it. That's validation with action not just words. I mean in reality the worst of us can say anything. We can validate any emotio…

Great point and I think we agree on the first part when you're in your feelings things could be a allegory for another thing versus the simplicity of what the situation actually is. Yes most people don't like to admit they're wrong. For more often than not women will debate you on how they don't want you to solve problems They just want you to listen which still leaves them with problems

Well I mean we can use a couple of examples we can go with any cliche example of I don't want you to fix it I just want you to hear me. Validation itself does not solve a problem. But solving the problem and then getting validation or not still makes it so your problem goes away with or without validation Outside of that in the specific documentary almost all the women were terrible They were explosive and interrupting anytime a valid response was shared One literally said f*** you.

I do not dismiss validation but I strongly disagree with it being the first step. I think in a lot of scenarios if you attack The main cause of a lot of issues It will make it better for validation. How can you fully validate something you have no full understanding of. It kind of makes it hollow. If my wife or girlfriend is upset what does it really solve to say I understand you're upset. That’s a great question. What I’m saying is that understanding and acknowledgment shouldn’t be the primary goal in a conflict . because if acknowledgment becomes the priority, that’s all you’ll end up fighting for. For example, if the argument is about taking out the garbage, the focus should be on getting the garbage taken out, not on how the act makes you feel. If you center the discussion on emo…

Well that adds some more confusion because based off research since the '70s and by admissions from our government they are less likely to commit any other crimes after they get out. I don't believe that anyone wants these type of people out in the first place and if they do they don't want them to look like upstanding individuals so why is your experience different from stats and research so dramatically. Do you think you're probably experiencing some exposure bias?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/25 08:41 PM

Nearly every statistic I've looked at in the past and currently say that sexual offenders are very unlikely to reoffend compared to other offenders of different types. Sincere question why are this national stats and research different from your experience?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/25 08:20 PM

Here's the kicker on that.. So out of all crimes rapist do not commit the same crime after leaving prison and they are less likely to commit any other crime. Meaning statistically rapist are the easiest and most effective to rehabilitate and the most stable. So I don't know if I agree with you ... Lock them up
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/25 04:04 PM

I don't disagree that she has a reason. I don't even disagree about it being a difference between a stable mind and an unstable mind. But I do disagree on the type of punishment. There are tons of people mental instability issues that can make crimes and if we're staying specific a lot of men who go to jail for sexual assault Have themselves either have PTSD, some developmental issue etc. heck if you look at a lot of chomos they have huge developmental issues. Still no excuse. Lock them up.

I don't know that's 100% true about what feminism is I've seen everything discussing your feminism. It was once a paper that went around talking about how men who love making women orgasm What's antiferous because it made the pleasure less about The woman and more about them. It was the stupidest thing ever. But I guess I'm trying to say is if anything can be considered pro or anti-feminist then it's discussion unto itself can be valid. And some of my individual responses I didn't use real life examples. One of the things I use is this real life event that was used for the TV show there was a woman who actually faked me pregnant and lie about being raped and sexually assaulted 50 doulas. She legit initially only got some house arrest every three years of probation

Yeah we don't police other men we're not police officers will not most of us at least. We are however people who keep each other accountable to the best of our ability and most of the time legality of it. Police officers police people. We can come to the 8th of women we can make non-profits to support them we could do a lot of things we can choose not to hire them if the local law allows us to. What we cannot do without ourselves becoming part of the problem is used our bodies to commit violence…

I looked it up looks like the real one served two years of house arrest in 3 years of probation. But that was then turned into jail because she violated some stuff. So essentially if she had behaved she was only gotten 2 years of house arrest for 50 assaults basically.

Okay I'm going to have to hard push back on that women do not police women at all. Almost every type of mindset within women are given space to breathe. The most common response is that women are not a monolith. To use what you said before I've seen deadbeat mothers, verbally abusive women and more been giving so much grace compared to men in the same situation.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/25 05:54 PM

Because all men aren't the police. And I will say even with that there is only so much men can do outside of committing violence of their own to get someone out of a harsh situation. But outside of that there are a ton of resources for victims especially for female victims.

I don't mind being deep but I feel like you're going so deep you miss the point. Yeah it's becoming more blatant. I saw a video of this Uber driver who recorded his interactions in this woman kept on trying to say the guy assaulted her her friend was like no he didn't stop saying that and she was calling the cops. The guy not only had a camera in the car but his glasses had built-in recording. She was blatantly lying and I couldn't assure you she saw zero jail time for it but there's a good chance the guy probably lost his job

The guy who went around killing people in Sydney was shot by the police. On another response I listed four women who killed one or more children and did not serve any jail time. If we want to keep it to stabbing there's a woman who stabbed her boyfriend 108 times and only got probation. The story of the guy in Sydney in the story of this woman who stabbed her boyfriend both happened in the same year

I would say it's along the same lines as the SVU episode If you're not found guilty would it even be considered a stat? Mental instability is not an excuse. It's a reason. You should still be held accountable at most it gives you slightly away when it comes to sentencing maybe and that's only if it was outside your control that's the difference between malicious and passive. But even with that it's still dangerous to give an excuse for certain actions

Men are heavily policed men who are rapist do not last long in jail or they are terribly beaten up often. Statistically is inaccurate to say that men don't please other men socially or judicially. Oh I'm up to date on all the SVU episodes I've watched the whole series like three times now lol And though they do Have ridiculous plot points in times This one was open and close. She lied and said she was raped and was having the baby. She had done this to 30 different women. Often the SVU cases involving men that are hard to prosecute either have an element of he said /she said or some type of very convoluted aspects to it.

Those are completely two different things. But why does it rub you the wrong way for me to say that the law system as it is benefits women who lie. I hate the legal system for what it does to men who are innocent. I don't like women who used to legal system against men. I don't like how legal system disproportionately goose women more leeway. And in this specific example this woman is the way bigger problem. Also let's be honest could you imagine what would happen and what kind of storm it would…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/25 04:27 PM

In this specific instance why wouldn't I blame the woman too ? Aren't you kind of proving my point a little bit by not wanting to target the person who started the issue? Why would it be hating women for wanting them to be accountable for something they did ? 😂 I actually really laughed in real life because that doesn't make sense. You could have said both are a problem but you're trying to completely eliminate a woman's contribution to the problem?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/25 04:19 PM

It is a woman's issue because the justice system treats women disproportionately better under the law. A lot of feminist theory correlate social contract send legal understanding with the fact that it benefits men You can't be couple it just because I'm bringing up something that correlates to how women benefit. Have a false accusation is made that affects someone it's always going to go through the legal system. The fact is a woman used the law as a weapon to hurt a man. And now that same legal…

I mean in reality if a man does no harm he can still be punished harshly. Very recently a man was accused of kidnapping a kid out of store there was camera evidence saying he didn't and he still was in jail for over 30 days. The woman who lied is not in jail at all. So let me ask you a question if false reporting barely gets an indictment why would we trust the stats on false reporting?

I sort of disagreet. What is one of the first things they talk about when a mother kills her children ? They almost rarely turn her into a monster unless it's super egregious. They ask about the mental health of her and that postpartum is real (which it is) But you see often they give excuses not dismissing what they did but trying to soften the impact of what she does.

Sure: The worst way to handle cleaning with a partner is to start loudly cleaning around them while they’re trying to relax, say nothing, let the resentment build, and then explode with “you never help me.” That isn’t emotional intelligence .that’s emotional buildup with no communication. A better approach is saying, “Hey, the mess is starting to stress me out and I don’t want to end up irritated or cleaning around you while you’re trying to relax. I’d rather plan it together so we both feel res…

I mean honestly they don't suffer from a lot of things that we do. It really just depends on what you benefit. I guess the really get an answer you have to ask a man who lives under those laws if they want the women they have or a westernized woman and out of those who say yes ask them why. And I've gone to multiple Muslim majority countries and I can tell you the reasons they say they want an American woman are both true and nothing that any American woman should be proud of.

I actually agree with a lot of what you said ,specially about mutual awareness and venting. My point isn’t that women lack emotional intelligence; it’s that emotional expression often gets confused with emotional discipline. Starting to clean because someone else is cleaning isn’t emotional intelligence; planning so both feel respected is. And problem-solving doesn’t invalidate emotion, it anchors it. That’s what I’m trying to highlight: EQ is more than empathy. It’s cooperation, timing, and sel…

I agree with what you're saying. I think with the lady might not be understanding me at is that you should be all or nothing when it comes to standards. The same situations ugly or attractive should make you feel the same way. But even more than that feeling disgusted that an unattractive person talks to you just on its own speaks more to your character and anyone who thinks like this is a red flag.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/25 05:50 PM

I never said it was the whole thing. But it's definitely at least 33% of it. Think you should have a good measure every you lack at before you start saying someone is not being emotionally intelligent as they interact with you. It breaks literally make it not only so you don't crash but you don't crash into others
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/25 05:36 PM

Let me reiterate what I've been saying. Me:Women in the same situations should treat people respectfully and keep their standards regardless of looks. You: I think you might be abusive and possibly autistic. And You might have a God complex

Not The situation itself but how it's handled. If you don't know what you want for dinner that's totally fine. How the situation usually is handled by women is typically not.

/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/25 04:48 PM

Yeah how even a minute I'm guilty of that sometimes. And even now I can't fight against the scenario but I do see how that can be problematic in a relationship. It's just hard to fight off you know If there biological solutions to a problem and I am the more logical thinking one why shouldn't I be in charge? But also the ability to bridge that connection is what's very important in any dynamic
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/25 04:29 PM

Letting your standards lower for people only because they're more attractive is literally victim behavior. Is literally how abusers get away with things. But more to what you said Are you saying that autistic people or abusive? I'm not getting why you combined those two things ?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/25 04:19 PM
2

Sure is! But knowing that you're unhappy is one part of emotional intelligence knowing how the properly communicate that is important as well. It's a consistent learning and teaching process a give and a take. Sometimes you're going to be giving other times you're going to be taking but you're not fully emotionally intelligent if you're only you then get to know the quality of intelligence you're receiving and not giving

Having a nonsensical bias is objectively problematic. I'm not saying women should entertain everyone - I'm saying your standards shouldn't shift just because someone turns you on. If it's a standard, it should exist to protect your peace and maintain your quality of life, not vanish the moment chemistry shows up. Otherwise, you end up dating men who are bad for you, ignoring red flags because attraction numbed your judgment - and then regretting it once reality hits. If that pattern became norma…

If we're talking about specifically cleaning I feel like this is more about not being a good worker unless of being low with emotional intelligence. For example when I did live with a woman her hair would constantly plug the shower every month or two. Messy yes she was, lazy? Maybe. Maybe she had a skill gap on how to clean it or was disgusted by fixing it a little bit. Whenever I shaved I'd clean up after but sometimes it'd be a couple hairs that are too small for me to immediately recognize. I…

I guess if I'm being critical to both sides of the equation and forgive me if I'm missing that on something If someone has to be forced to do some cleaning then yes they are childish I don't think it's emotional intelligence I think it's lazy and entitlement. I agree with you but also I've kind of felt very strange when I heard someone wants them to do it because they should want to. I agree with that and I'm going to interject a little bit of bias on my part. I seem to find is that women hope men change to their preferences as time goes on. For example some women will be surprised that a man won't help with cooking after she gave birth even though she never saw him cook or he never volunteered to cook. To summarize women are surprised that men don't change. Men are surprised that women start to change

I agree with this. I rather be hurt temporarily for a communicated need then to be hurt by surprise for something I thought was okay the whole time. I mentioned this in another post but I just can't see myself starting to argument based off something I never communicated
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/25 12:47 AM

I think the 'Do unto others' rule only works if we both want the same things. True empathy asks us to notice what makes the other person feel valued - even if it's nothing like what we'd need ourselves. And I think even beyond that we have to blend both. How does that person want to be treated if they miss the mark on someone else's needs?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/25 12:40 AM
5

Exactly. I would say I grew up like your husband. And when I'm sick I mostly like to be alone. I had an ex who was upset about that and didn't understand my needs. So I communicated what I needed and she understood and we were able to make a new cell that both of us felt comfortable with

I agree that awareness matters - emotional intelligence includes noticing when your partner's carrying the load. But to me, true EQ also means not assuming your perception matches theirs. I think the healthiest version blends both - intuition that senses effort, and communication that checks in before acting on it.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/25 12:28 AM

Do you ever feel that people often confuse empathy with project? If empathy is thinking about someone else and what they would want in the situation, I think what happens sometimes is people project what they would want done for them if they were in that same situation.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/25 12:22 AM

I think I agree with most of the things you're saying. I think you need to communicate some things you want spontaneously for sure. I think there's also benefit in directly telling someone what you need. I think where I defer is I never had a uncommunicated need/desire I was willing to start an argument about or feel some type of way about. However I do understand having an argument about desires or negative already previously communicated multiple times

Cardi b is seen as a role model for some women because of her demeanor as a independent strong aggressive woman, sexual liberation in songs about refusing to be domesticated. She has specifically gotten pregnant by two men who are known to have cheated on her. One of the men who cheated on her made a video in her house showing her cooking and cleaning and saying it was all a lie 😂

You're right , men absolutely built that old image of the "fragile woman." But here's the thing: we don't live in that world anymore, and no one's forcing anyone to keep it alive. But women are definitely defending it. The problem now isn't who invented the myth - it's who keeps benefiting from it. If equality's the goal, then it has to include accountability too. Otherwise, we're just trading one kind of bias for another. I support disrupting all forms of bias and preconceived notions not just …

I'm not invalidating the video - I'm clarifying what it actually shows. A lot of those interactions were sexual harassment. But not all of them. Saying hello or good morning in public isn't inherently harassment, and context matters. She deliberately walked through areas where that behavior was expected, which makes it a poor sample of "average" male behavior. Using that clip to define men is like using Tinder to define love - it's a skewed environment that tells you more about the setting than …

How did I deny inappropriate behavior when I literally said no one was surprised by it? That means I acknowledged it exists - I just said it's not all the same. Saying hello isn't harassment, and picking the roughest neighborhoods to "prove" a universal point is misleading. What I described isn't denial; it's context. The beauty of this format is that everything I said is written right above - and anyone can read it. Technology keeps us honest.

I think telling a victim how to defend themselves is inherently wrong You're assuming that through the same pain They must act different. In general I don't think that's fair it's not that I want to go out and start beating people up if they're smaller than me I just don't want to be assaulted and then have to care about how I defend myself or attack them. "The responsibility for violence always lies with the attacker, not the person defending themselves." Was this me saying this no that's a lea…

15 years of a lifetime sentence. She got out. Personally she should have never went in. But but If we want to be fair we should treat men and women equally or similar at least. Any Man or a boy who is a sexual violence victim should be able to have the same or better consideration under the law and within society
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 01:22 AM

You're right Let me apologize for that. You're basically saying that a victim should know better I'll stick to that point. In that victims of different genders in sizes should react differently

I was using an example of a woman who used disproportionate force compared to your example of a man who use disproportionate force both were victims. Women hated the guy for defending themselves a lot of women supported with the girl did. I'm showing a bias.

Great point however I would say that they get to the point of a major accusation the truth can be found for example a recent celebrity case came into play where one side try to use AI to fabricate a text string it was easily found to be false because one the data was found to have AI markings and then two You could just confirm with the network operator.. What I'm saying here is with current technology It makes it harder to lie.

Most technology has metadata. At this point in time it's kind of hard to pass off AI information as fact. Heck they're a real life pictures that have been used to misidentify real situations like in Portland and it was near instantly identified as false.

I disagree with you a little bit because without that technology it wouldn't have helped to progress as much as it did. I wouldn't say iPhone specifically. But we also have to say that could be due to a cascade of benefits. One women get less incarceration for the same crimes committed even if found guilty. Two local counties are less likely to actually make new prisons for women so they rather not let them go to jail at all than to have to make a new female prison. There or some legitimate studies that say that men are treated worse under the justice system compared to women

So one person is a IPv perpetrator. The other person would be an interstate sex trafficker who would do the beating he gave Cassie but times 10 or more. Isn't the mine said that most men are problematic coming from social media rather than day-to-day reality? How is what I'm saying less brain rot then what a lot of women believe about men? But outside of what social media does isn't it not true that if you are recording someone doing something that has to be true if it shows enough of the situation? Do we not have situations where women say they are the victim yet technology proves otherwise?

There's a couple things weird about what you're saying. You're looking at it as purely beneficial for the male for example you're looking at it as his housing expense is not going up instead of The woman's housing expenses being completely eliminated let's say rent is $1,500 That means $1,500 worth of work hours you no longer have to do. You're expenses for food are eliminated. All your expenses are erased and potentially your leisure time is increased. You're looking at it from a point of view …
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/25 03:10 AM

I agree. So often male emotional labor is overlooked because it's not valued as much as emotional expression. But this can be easily viewed when women ask men for advice and they don't like how we might respond They want us to suppress our emotions and suppression is work and that suppression helps women feel more comfortable

I don't 100% agree because you don't always need to have physical dominance to dominate someone. Statistically not true Most working couples either pool their money or split bills proportionally to income. Since men on average earn about 18% more, they end up covering more of the financial load in those setups. If you're in the house with someone and you only have to pay let's say 35 or 40% of your share to enjoy the same access as the other person then you are being compensated for your work.. for 20 extra minutes a day. No I didn't side step it at all I acknowledge that everyone participates in their own way. And then went even further to say that if someone doesn't work outside the house they are still contributing and if someone only brings in money then they are still contributing. But Even with that statistically when both people are working men work more hours at work usually and women do 20 extra minutes of home labor a day on average
/r/PurplePillDebate25/09/25 05:49 PM

Physical work is not a constant daily occurrence. But financial contribution is literally measured in hours and investments. Everyone contributes in their own way which is my belief. Just because someone doesn't help in the house doesn't mean they are not contributing to the household. And just because someone doesn't contribute financially doesn't mean that their work isnt important either

Nope the committee was 3 dudes and 2 women. For arguments sake fairly split down the middle as far as gender. As employees we are all expected to do the quote unquote paperwork and planning. But for active physical labor The men either are the only ones that can Do it or we are expected to do it. But as far as what's visibly seen for the final presentation set up is what the women are doing. And that's okay. I mean I wouldn't I just usually waited for the bell to say done and that automatic dryer would be right. She would set it on 2 hours and say it took her 3 hours to get the laundry done (between washing and drying) The fact is I usually can get stuff just as clean and a shorter amount of time there was actually no complaints about how I got stuff done but anytime I try to give her advice she did not like it. I valued her labor cuz it was appreciated but often I felt she caused her own stress

I will test to that having live with a woman and I would take significantly less time to do the same chores to the same standard. For example doing laundry it would take her an hour longer simply because she would choose the maximum amount of time to dry something and I would just put it on auto dry. Both were the same level of dry. There are other examples of stuff like this in our relationship but the fact is when she cleaned it took longer but it wasn't necessarily better It was just done in …

I agree that you can't fully know someone so I'll take back my point of Matt a little bit. But if you're with someone who You have a good connection with and it's easier to be with why even get to the point of a relationship until you fully know them? It seems like you're taking away agency and going between society and impulse. You don't have to go into a relationship quickly You can choose to get to know someone a little bit better to save yourself the trauma of a short relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/09/25 03:30 PM

Then I'm kind of confused why would you want multiple short relationships in this society? And wouldn't it be easier to break up with a woman in your stance since you're both on the same page and you yourself have said it's easier?

Peer pressure from who? There's so much empowerment for women to leave men. People are doing photo shoots post divorce nowadays. If you're in a regular relationship you could just leave marriages are doing it at 50% rates.

Their studies that say near opposite. It was a 30-year study that said that having longer-term relationships have better outlooks on mental health well-being ATC They said that short-term relationships can be better for sex but it doesn't necessarily help with quality of life in an addition to that of every short relationship ends with chaos and actually can be a lot worse than neutral.

I mean that's easy to say but if there is a true connection wouldn't they be eventually not short? Unless you're saying that women are more tolerant of men than they are women? Doesn't it sound like more of a string of passionate dual flamed relationships than it is stable connections?

But when you say specifically that you are sapiosexual intelligence is the main driver of that not social skills. By definition it is a heavy attraction to intelligence. I think there is a slight nuanced difference. For example no man goes around saying they are a big boob sexual. It is the common joke that men " will do anything with a pulse". And what we do have preferences in that are spoken on for attraction are usual actual physical or sexual performative traits. Ladies however will say they are specifically only our primarily heavily attracted to intelligence and then not really care for it when it comes to conversation. I feel like a lot of discussions ab…

I've never seen a couple that had a ugly partner say that they are sapiosexual. They would just say they are in love but I see very attractive women more often than not saying they are sapiosexual. I think it's used by some people to disguise their shallowness

I triggered you. You're very upset. You just admitted to not looking through the comments but you felt four sentences was a dissertation. They usually correlates to having a traumatic effect on your nervous system. I'm sorry the emotional load was too much for you. I hope the four sentences, technically three about the writing doesn't invade your dreams. If the four sentences is a dissertation I don't think you read those type of books anyway. books have multiple pages with a lot more sentences …

If I saw only the toxic side of them I would say women are 100% toxic. I didn't say that at all

I love dating women. I'm not looking for reasons not to date women I'm looking for acceptance or a counter to my initial thought. Why would you even think I have only negatives to say about women?. I gave like three examples of things that's not enough to hate all women 😂

That's the thing it's something that women and overwhelming scenarios cannot ask for. But on the other hand women are now asking for credit checks and background checks through the tea app. You can go on Harley-Davidson man pages on Facebook put a name in a picture on there and women overwhelming Nebraska for feedback Is this not assuming the worst in some way?

I do not disagree with that . I didn't say it didn't however there's no studies on it because it's not a focus right now. Remember how everyone was swearing up and down that vape pens were healthier and then kids start dying getting popcorn lung ?

Do you consider one not toxic simply because it's less toxic? Both have a willing exchange of agency. Power dynamic isn't just financial in physical ability you can do convinced into something that's not good for you. For example let's take scammers from another country. They called to America they target Richard and more privileged men and women with better education and still make them victims. The authority figure is a moot because both have objectification.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/25 08:37 PM

I didn't disagree. Not at all I said it can't be in all types of porn. Not only did I agree with you I pointed out the statistics of how prevalent drugs are prevalent in the adult film industry. Not only that I gave stats as to how writing has near the same amount of drug use. I'm not disagreeing with you I'm saying one thing is very similar to the other. Again not disagreeing. Very much agreeing. Showing you something else that's basically the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/25 08:25 PM

That wasn't my response at all.. My point has been that there's a lot of similarities more than you think and you can't say one is better just because the flow of the toxicity is different. But let's get more to the root point. Do not believe that fantasy books are similar because no one is getting hurt. I don't believe that. But as I work to indulge you there are a lot of things that women need that do hurts that have no real ramifications. If you are a woman who cheats and gets pregnant by ano…

Yes I said father figure. We can extrapolate daddy from father. Just like we assume a bang made as a woman based off context clues. I didn't describe what a bang made is and depth but you understood just like what you did above. You can infer the other way

Yes because in the end apples and oranges are still fruit. It would be like saying no apples can't be fruit because they're crunchy like a potato. And yes that's exactly what I'm saying This came up for me as a topic because I recently saw a post about a woman who murdered her own kids. I'm a little bit confused that's just one aspect of the whole "daddy" archetype. You think that the woman who wants to step a man is expecting him to say no? Do you think that people who have bang maids don't want them to be hot and attractive?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/25 07:57 PM
2

I think it's very strange to assume that all porn involves these dark aspects. However I do want to say statistically writers are two to three times more likely then the general population to be addicted to alcohol and/or drugs. Most recent stats are about 18% of the USA uses drugs. So that would make them 52% And drugs and alcohol are amongst 60% of adult entertainment actors. So technically not that much different. Both are bad both have every drug use.

I see your point But I don't fully agree. Because some things fall along the line of bias and not necessarily something that should be combatted. Regardless of how I feel about porn or about erotic novels I think independently of my core opinion they are basically the same thing. I can objectively see a woman is conventionally attractive without her being my type. I can like beef and hate chicken and totally see how they are both meat. No why would I women and men do things differently. I admit that. You guys don't have strokes the same way we do. This is the same reason why you don't have to do a prostate exam. I don't know and again this is not me agreeing with it but I look at something like Lolita stuff. I've seen more women dress up like high school girls from Japan than men who say they want a woman to dress like a high school girl from Japan. But it's still considered something that men are trashed about. Into the expectations and fantasy I've seen more women out in real life or online say they want to be sexually dominated and choked out and that was considered empowering. I don't think I've see…

I've never watched or heard of anything more deviant than anything in a adult fantasy book. I've read 2 of those books before and between them had beastiality, rape, incest and so much worse. If you're a woman or man who constantly indulges in books like this then it's literally a problem to want to read it if you feel that porn is deviant. It's okay to reprimand both but it is contradictory say one is a problem

Yeah I can also tell you that if it says they're 18 it's most likely a lie. Just like how women don't get stuck in dryers with their horny stepbrothers around. Etc it's very fake. But the fact is you can't say to like things are very dissimilar. The fact is if you're using books in a way that you get arousal from it is not to dissimilar to the fact that men will primarily use actual porn for arousal. I think it would be totally fair to say I don't like it when you read adult fantasy books. I thi…

Single mother hood has gone up dramatically though
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/25 09:13 PM

Yes sir you're right about that however I look more at the comments underneath certain posts then the actual content. Because you can say anything online but agreeing to it is a whole another thing. And that's true about your second part about the people represented on Reddit but the thing is that's still a representation of a good chunk of people in real life. If someone said there are introverted people in the area and someone said oh that's only online that would be a straight up lie 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/25 08:08 PM

21% if the statistic is right
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/25 07:35 PM

Not that much different but I think the other side of this is women who have relationships and then get divorced think you'll be easy to find another man who will take up the role
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/25 07:33 PM

Really hard to say. It's a very nuance thing because it's not really a class thing it's a age thing it looks like for example a lot of the times it happens when you're in high school but you're in high school so you naturally will not have a lot of income. But as you grow up you still have that baby out of wedlock. You couldn't make more or less so basically the stats are pretty open to interpretation but the fact is about 40% of women who are parents have had babies out of wedlock.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/25 07:28 PM

U.s.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/25 07:24 PM

Which is interesting cuz the statistically 40% of women have baby out of wedlock. But but that also makes a little bit more sense considering that you choose your friends but also as a woman most single mothers would not talk to you or complain about you as they are looking for men
/r/PurplePillDebate29/08/25 07:19 PM

I agree with this. Always found it interested in how in some people's relationships and sometimes even in my own I was criticized for not helping out and cleaning things that I had no choice in accepting in the house or criticizing me for cleaning things specific way not because it's bad just because it's not the way you would do it It would be something as simple as using lemon pledge instead of lavender or demanding that I wipe down a bookcase that I don't like or never use. If your standards …
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/25 05:33 AM

I agree. I think if you're doing above minimal stuff that can get tiring and that both minimal stuff comes on occasions. Not a consistent level of give and take. If you are doing above the standard activity consistently then that just becomes the new minimum standard 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/25 05:18 AM

When I search bare minimum on Reddit I found a ass woman page and they did not like it at all and in fact most of the bare minimum stuff was actually below minimum. I do sometimes feel like the women on here and the women who are on other feeds have different definitions and understandings of things. I've only heard the bare minimum in a negative context in real life and online. I never heard of it as a neutral state that people are okay with
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/25 05:09 AM

I agree. I think it's pretty toxic and more damaging to dating culture that people are criticizing the bare minimum like It's a negative thing. I was talking to someone and I mentioned how the most expensive jet planes in the cheapest brand new car both have to meet minimum standards before they go out on the field
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/25 04:57 AM

Do you believe that one should be praised or criticized when they are doing the bare minimum in a relationship?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/25 04:47 AM

I agree I think it's wonderful stuff all together but wouldn't you say that's like the standard and most relationships? Do you believe realistically that women are doing much more than the standards or minimums of what's considered a healthy relationship?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/25 04:22 AM

Let's just keep it simple just two people in a relationship living together or not living together no kids both work in a job
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/25 04:19 AM

I agree. I appreciate the out frontness but I think what kind of feels weird is that It's less about compatibility but more about benefits that I see. Like if you said hey I'd like a very healthy family dynamic where we can prioritize our goals and have clear expectations on both sides that can lead to a fulfilling near traditional lifestyle. That sounds awesome. But it's kind of strange how often I see the words princess treatment 😂

I think it would be sexist tonight like something a man says just because it comes from a man especially since both a man and a woman who do gender studies brought up the same point and it was the first thing that came up when Google and also how it's analyzed realistically in public by both men and women. But I'll go ahead and ask someone near me. Is it sexist to understand that women and men might do things differently and then based off my own circumstances find it to be cumbersome or easier …

Because I'm open to other perspectives. Especially those will come from other backgrounds. I don't want to be foolish or ignorant. If I were more close-minded unable to listen or appreciate very are often point of views that contradict my own I would try to attack people not based off what they say but the thought itself. Look up Narrative and gender as mutually constituted meaning-making systems a study done in Cambridge by two students. Obviously I'm not unique in thinking this. But thank you for being a great observer and kind of proving the point
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/25 08:28 PM

I'll make it even tighter for you then: I focused on women because this is a pattern I've noticed in situations involving women more often than men. I wanted to share it in a gender-focused subreddit to see if others have observed the same thing, and to hear perspectives from both men and women. It's not about attacking anyone - it's about exploring whether my observation is unique to me or if it's more common.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/25 08:06 PM

That is a great question be back if you want to know more about my thoughts and inspiring you to ask meaningful questions to understand me more. I asked because I find it curious that this happens. As with most humans we sometimes 10 to see habits and patterns in nature or artificially. I have the many things I think about day to day I find that this became most prevalent at the time I crafted the post. And knowing that there was a subreddit of thinkers that focus on gender related things I deci…

My intention was not to ignore double standards I'm specifically pointing out narrative changes that seem to be mostly exclusive to women
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/25 07:51 PM

I don't know where this whole theory of assertive men in the workplace gets praised comes from. There's a fine line between assertive and just being a douche and I mean that in the gender-neutral way. There is never been one time at all working in corporate , blue collar and gig jobs where I was like oh wow this a****** is great to work for of this person was a woman I'd hate it. I think what usually happens is that some women tend to be too assertive and then they equate their own bad behavior …

This is a legitimate one I've seen that I've also experienced and it's crazy. I don't think they do this on purpose . But rather be playing video games or hanging out with friends They will see it as neglect but if they have a girls night out or any type of activity they do for their own enjoyment it would be considered abusive if the husband or boyfriend doesn't want them to do it.

I do know what a sample bias is. But let me also ask you the question think about some terrible men you've dated if you're a woman Do you think they only dated you or were they probably more successful than the average man as far as dating? I would also say wouldn't a habitual cheater be more successful than someone who's consistently faithful?
