The Blueprint DeCoded is good but too expensive. I liked the product but I'd never part with $600-$700 for it. The program I highly recommend to anyone who wants to go from alone to stalon is the G3 program by Mark Manson. He's got a good rep around here for a good reason. This will give you an idea of what it's about: http://www.getgirlfriendguaranteed.com/program/overview . When I'm done with it I'll write up a review or something.

Thanks, I'm typing from my phone otherwise I would've included the link. If I remember right, he has something like 3 consecutive blog posts on the rearden and all 3 are worth reading.

I like the Rearden for dealing with passive aggressive people. Basically, when someone gives you back handed insults, you bait them into explaining themselves and force them into directly insulting you or to diffuse the situation themselves. It allows you to deal with passive aggressive betas without over reacting. Google for the rearden + the rawness blog if you want to read from the guy who came up with it.

I haven't read it yet but I have seen it get a lot of props from some gurus. I feel that if you've read one of these inner game books, reading more and more is an exercise in mental masturbation.

Wow this is way out there and in a hilarious way too. I'm just a few pages in and he's talking about how he hypnotized his gf into believing she has reversed genders and now she's stroking her dick and cumming on her stomach. What a lol :)

Great username. FailFaster. I think it's a good philosophy all by itself. I smirk and ask her if she's studying how to get better at eye contact And this is a pretty funny response. Can't say I didn't smile. I definitely think you could have taken things further. Like your username says, fail faster and go for the closes even when you don't think you can do it.

3million locals for 2.5million foreigners so all the girls who are into foreign guys have got their pick of the cake. You'll probably do better going for the foreign girls living in singapore or just whichever girls you're into.

LOL! This is hilarious. I have nothing more to add. edit: Actually I do. A lot of people have spoken about why this works and others on why this is bad for you, so if you're still on the fence about whether to do this or not, DONT FUCKING DO IT. Besides it being creepy as hell (which is something you don't want to associate yourself with, even in your own mind) - if people get wind of it, you're screwing yourself over in an unnecessary way.

That's not the same thing. side2: most self-help regarding relationships before pickup came along was for men and woman or just woman (as they were the type to read that type of stuff - basing on my personal experience) so there are plenty of self help books to do with confidence/self-esteem/anxiety floating around. All David D. Burns books are applicable to men and woman, and Intimate Connections is his social/relationship self help book. I don't know any woman specific books because I am not a…

I disagree. I see this post as an angry and cynical perspective of women because the post describes an extreme exaggeration of a stereotype. Women don't say this shit, a woman might say one or two things on the list but that might be all. Take a moment and imagine someone collected all the most misogynistic quotes they could find from different men about what they wanted in a woman and then that collection of quotes is used to display the inconsistencies between what men (as in all men) say and …

The point I am trying to make is that posts which are angry with women (like this one), is foreign to seddit and belongs on subreddits like mensrights, not seddit.

Mensrights is not a bad place or idea. I agree and disagree with you. The heart is in the right place, the angry bitter vitriol that permeates throughout is not.

Thanks for the reply Mark, I should have responded sooner. I think you hit the nail on the head in a way. I'm not giving the proper dedication to programs like the g3 for it to help me in any way. Hey Mark I joined your g3 program a week and a half ago. I'm still on step 1 because I havent done the basic social exercises you laid out which I should have been done with a few days ago. It's the same old sticking point for me. Definitely that. ThrowawayPUA wrote awesome FRs and all people did was bitch about the length. Also people want you to detail your execution of x,y and z technique or else your field reports are useless to them (see reseddit's recent FRs). A field report should be held to no greater standard than what its name implies, which is basically a report on your social interactions infield. If seddit constantly responded with that to criticisms of all the FRs out there, I'm pretty sure many more people …

You had gay sex even though you're straight? Yeah, that is bad. I had the same sucking at conversations problem as you and I still do a little but it's much better now. The cause for me was that I was a shut-in and long time recluse with A LOT of bad programming floating through my head. The solution is to go out regularly and talk to everyone. You will embarrass yourself and come off a little weird very often and that is all part of the process of becoming socially calibrated. The big danger is…

Have you considered if you chose to go natural because of bad inner game? The idea is: you were great with girls but you didn't think that was good enough and you chose to go natural because you weren't good enough as you were. From that angle it's easy to see how a small downwards trend after your change to natural can make your inner game much worse and start a cycle that feeds on itself.

I have a question for you. When I stand still, I often hook my thumb in my backpockets and leave my fingers and palms resting on my ass cheeks. This pushes my pelvis forward, shoulders lean back (but are not fully relaxed), and my chest is usually higher than normal. So my question is if this is a good way to stand or does the lack of mobility of my hands and arms when talking make it a bad posture?

I'm trying to find some casual sport meetups in my area (harder search than I thought it'd be) since building a bigger social circle is one of my priorities. I imagine you'd be able to do the same with little expense and try social game. At the very least it'll get you out of the house on a regular basis. A social circle/activity where you constantly meet random people is also probably the best way to find yourself a job and create options for yourself.

I agree with this mostly. I spent a long long time bouncing from pickup ebook to video series to blog post and most of it was wasted on me. So little of it stuck in my head in the end but what did stick (mostly evolutionary psychology stuff and breaking limiting beliefs) has had a big impact. Currently I've picked Magic Bullets and Intimate Connections as my go to books for the future. The reason I don't fully agree with you is because reading FRs and books like The Game, Adventures of Brad P, e…

I disagree with the idea that you have to have your shit together before you start focusing on other people. Having inner game issues is no reason not to go out and approach people or take your chances with someone. If you mean to say that a person will only find great success once they have all their inner game problems sorted then yes, but a lot of your flaws will only reveal themselves to you when you think about how you interact with people, and that only happens if you interact with people …

Good luck. That number is impressive. I haven't done a fraction of your approaches and I don't see how that is actually possible. Do you constantly approach or do you reserve cold approaching for when you go out (basically what I am doing now)?
/r/seduction02/05/11 02:56 PM
6

Ha, last month I was Option 2, now I'm closer to Option 1. My big problem is that every cold approach I have done has lasted less than a minute. My lack of confidence in interacting comes through no matter what and the anxiety is huge. Right now I'm taking the route of just approaching without routines and such until I become comfortable talking to random girls.

Talk to them about it in baby steps to test the waters but chances are they will react negatively. My friends are almost as bad as me when it comes to girls but any time I have talked about a pickup technique or tell them about an article I read, they look at me weirdly and say something that implies they are the shit and don't need to read about this kind of stuff, only losers do, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, then I punch them in the face.

I like the idea of a subreddit for field reports and a subreddit for seduction advice (for all levels). I've actually felt the same for a while now. I feel that r/fieldreports and r/seduction would be a better split dynamic than r/seduction and r/askseddit because: r/fieldreports and r/seduction is clean cut, there is no confusion about what goes where. One is for advice and articles and that shit, the other is for reporting your personal in field experience. Plus you wont have new sedditors com…

I'm currently reading that book. I am hoping it will help me a lot with my approach anxiety as well as just giving less of a shit about the stupid stuff we all do. I read the ebook till chapter 3 and it was so awesome that I ordered it and intimate connections off amazon straight away. People are taking this DOWNVOTE it! a bit far. All of a sudden I'm seeing first timer field reports getting insta-downvotes probably because people don't like a few assumptions the OP made and never bothered to leave a comment. It sounds like he has heavy social and approach anxiety as well as self-confidence issues. I used to have some of the behaviours you described and if I were to guess, he sabotages himself so he doesn't have to put his ego on the line in an interaction. Chances are that he is like this with all girls he is interested in (even if that interest is unconscious). I don't know why this idea is getting downvoted. A weekly community challenge/mission is probably going to be very helpful for a lot of beginners who have problems approaching (like me). It is that exact thing that makes the rules of the game so effective for beginners. You are going out there and approaching one mission at a time instead of spending 6 months watching video series' and reading field reports. This reminds me of my years in high school. I had a years long crush on one of the pretty girls in class. I never did anything about it during my entire duration in high school and in hindsight, that is much worse than getting embarrassingly rejected. Fear of a bad outcome can be crippling. Not experienced with this but if you had managed to get her to tell you about her engagement beforehand and you still gamed her well then she would have slept with you. Jugglar has a lot to say about this. In fact he says that knowing if a girl is attached or not has a bigger effect on your chances with her than whether she is actually attached or not. And all the guys dismissing her as a fucked-up, crazy bitch need to grow up.
