Good adds. You can't go wrong with Salsa/Ballroom dancing. You don't even need to be good, just know the steps, and be able to lead. It's an ancient form of courtship, and should honestly be TRP 101. The IQ bump on chess and music has more to do with mixing abstract and concrete activities. You will map the patterns/math in music and chess to occupational activities. They will help you with breakthroughs and efficiencies.

This is very insightful, and I agree. Death may even be the beginning of another stage of existence. In any case, death is a gift that gives life meaning. If you can live 1000 years, then nothing really matters after a while. Do you follow Joe Rogan and Duncan Trussell? I've been really interested in trying DMT since hearing about their experiences. DMT and ayahuasca are both supposed to make you face yourself (very red pill), and potentially experience dimensions beyond normal human perception.…

"Should I kill myself or have a cup of coffee?" - Camus It's the only truly meaningful philosophical question. You should have a cup of coffee because after the coffee, you get to chose again. Extrapolate that anything as the alternative to death.

Well, almost. Most people peak, then slowly decline in health and mental acuity over several decades. As this entropy proceeds, you will eventually be unable to earn, and you will be largely ignored as the world speeds on without you. If you are unfortunate enough to live a long life, you'll watch all of your friends die, and no-one will be able to relate to you. Hopefully, you've built a retirement fund and family / tribe that will take care of you in the end. Otherwise you can count on underpa…

I don't know if this is a shit test or not. If you're wondering, then the answer is yes. The correct response is to laugh; it's a good joke about her being a praying mantis or black widow. But what she's really saying is that she sees herself as a powerful woman, and wants to dominate. Can you handle that? Can you handle a powerful woman? If this gives you pause, save yourself some pain and move on. It's not a pissing contest and you have nothing to prove. Submissive vs. dominant is a spectrum, …

"The general consensus here" is not TRP. TRP is about embracing reality including an honest view of yourself, with stoic virtue. Body count has nothing to do with it. Abundance is a state and opportunity, but not one that you are required to engage. Focus on school, and self-improvement. Allow women to be close if they support your ambition. You can reciprocate by supporting their goals as well. Sex will be the natural side affect of mutual admiration, and you will be happy. If you follow this p…

That voice is a helpful one. Every action comes with risk. For example, talking to a woman is a risk to your ego. You need to build your confidence by investing in yourself, then you've got the personal equity to afford many rejections. It's like building credit and wealth, then asking for loans. By the time you qualify, you'll hardly have to ask. So if you hesitate to take action, I think you should listen to that voice. It's telling you that this action has a personal cost. If you can't "affor…

A feminist can be an incel, but the two are not mutually exclusive. There are spiteful hags and hot but miserable bitches who can't get laid because they are so toxic that they drive men away. Since guys think with their dicks, as a really hot girl you'd need to be an apex cunt to not get laid if you wanted it. And even then, I think there's men that would eat their own dicks for one shot at a supermodel. I think you'd see the same with women and an exceptionally rich and powerful man. Hey, this…

I don't think you need to phrase it as an ultimatum. You don't need to make a big deal out of it either. Just tell her in passing that some things have changed since the move-in, and that you need more sex. Then dress like you're going on a date every time you leave the house. Look your best. The medium is the message. It will encourage her to keep you sexed-up. If the sex dries up again (or anything else isn't working for you), it's probably time to split-up. In that case be straightforward and…

Are you interested in other pursuits? If so, that's fine. Pursue your passions, and become a better man. The right people (women included) will find you, and you'll be interested in those people. However, if you're not interested in anything, that's a problem because you're not growing.

Recognizing this is an accomplishment. Read about Carl Jung and embracing your "shadow self". All that stuff you hate about yourself is part of you. Accept it, then get to work on yourself. A Psychologist will help you dig up the "why" you are the way that you are. Then you can use a number of tools to start maturing from there. CBT and heavy lifting (especially squats) works for me. See "The Iron Teaches" essay by Henry Rollins. It's all about finding your place and limits in this world, accept…

Women with boyfriends, distance yourself. Be friendly, but don't buy gifts, even if your motives are good. It's borderline disrespectful to the boyfriend, and puts you in a close position with the woman. You don't want to be there, because if things are going bad with her boyfriend, she may lean on you. You being the gift-giving type, are likely to also be there to help her with romantic problems (she should be taking that to girlfriends, or ideally, her boyfriend). Now you have the right condit…

Try writing all the junk from the past down, then burn the pages. Do it as often as you want. It helps, and its a good reason to light a fire. Counselling was helpful for sorting out feelings, but not solutions. Cognitive Behavioral therapy has actual tools and measures for improvement. That's been helpful for me. Heavy lifting, especially squats, has been the best therapy so far for me. Stoicism helps me separate myself from my feelings, my present from my past. Everyone is different though.

Forget the girl. Are you good enough for yourself? Once you are comfortable with your position in life, then it won't matter who she was with before, unless she bring it up (which she has not). You're inside your own head about this.

Part of this is genetic temperament, like with dogs; some are more neurotic, others more calm assertive. Second is life experience. A stable consistent home and strong support network is a major contributor. This person has likely already experienced lots of rejection as well. Though with stability and confidence, the negative impact may have hardly been felt at all. Also because of the confidence and attitude, success to fail ratio is much higher, so this person experiences less failure, with l…

If you're asking the question, then maybe there is a better use of your time. It could be time to set a goal and achieve it. You'll find sex along the way, but it will be more gratifying because it's secondary to your mission.

This is hardwired into tribal behavior down to lions and wolves. I think you have to accept it as a fact of life. However, if you next a woman for cheating, you'll internalize the action. Most future women will sense the boundary. You will also subconsciously vet women who are more likely to stray becuase you don't want the pain and wasted time. You'll experience less cheating by being the guy who doesn't tolerate it.

Can confirm; marriage is TRP on hard mode. I regularly have to reset expectations (entitlement), and it's always emotional combat where if I lose my cool, even once, I lose. The rewards of family life are great, but the price is very, very high.

Rollo addresses married RP as hard mode. I'm late to the game. I've had to break a lot of BP patterns, but I don't think RP and marriage are mutually exclusive. I think it is VERY had to maintain frame, and requires extreme patience and sacrifice.

If you're ready to settle down, is this what you want in a relationship? If you're not ready to settle down, is this what you want in a non-relationship? The reality is difficult. Do you want to cloud your experience with other women through thoughts of this one distant woman that eludes you. Or do you want to move forward, and see what else the world has for you?
/r/askTRP06/11/19 05:53 AM

> I assume best way to move forward is having minimal conversations with females at work. Take your own advice. More specifically, don't get in relationships at work. It doubles your liability.

The medium is the message. She's telling you that you aren't a 10, and the conversation is steering into other guys who are a 10, and how her friends are promiscuous. Get stoic, and prepare yourself for the likely possibility that she will break up with you, or cheat on you. Then ask yourself, if this is what you two are talking about, has the relationship run it's course? Do the right thing, not the thing that you want.

That's great man! My wife asked me, and I told her if we didn't have the kids, we wouldn't be together. But we do, so we are. I tended to get complacent about women I'm dating. They would complain, or cheat and I'd wish them well. I like marriage because it keeps me on my toes, and connected. On my own, I'd get solitary and lose touch.

Also, if your girl has dated a bunch of dirtbags, look in the mirror. Nobody is forcing her to clean your house and pay for dinner, but you're also allowing complete servitude. You're complicit in this arrangement, and you bear some responsibility. I imagine the moda are allowing natural selection to play it's course. Small-minded, discouraging comments do a good job of framing true wisdom. That said, I think TRP skews young. I can save you some time. The book exemplifies "Logotherapy" which is to say in a world where even life has no value, you choose what is valuable, and that has meaning because you choose to give it meaning. And you should give meaning to things that are within your grasp. It sounds like he was depressed for a long time (2-3 years), and that would wear on anyone. She couldn't handle it, and left. Eventually he came out of it, and rebounded. Losing everything (including his wife) was probably a catalyst for self-improvement. Now she envies his position. I do this with my wife almost every day: I find something really specific, and make a sexy compliment. Even if we don't have sex that day, she feels special, and wanted. And I am the source of that. After a while, you can just appraisingly in the area you have complimented before, then make eye contact. She remembers all those compliment from before, so it's like you just said them all.

Demi is a performance artist, and Elon is CEO of a public company. Very different. But still plenty of artist-to-artist comparisons where there is a double standard. One that I remember is when Miley Cyrus stuck her ass in Robin Thicke's crotch at the VMAs in 2013. It was merely scandalous that she sexually assaulted him on stage. Could you imaging if Robin had grabbed her hips, and grinded on her? It would be sexual assault on stage, and he would go to jail.

Don't think in terms of motive and blame. Think in terms of results. A man wants a woman who respects him, and a woman wants a man who loves her. If a man is unable to create enough dread, his woman will let herself go, he will despise her for it, and she will despise him in turn. And yes, some women are not teachable. Marriage makes it worse because both men and women often assume the other won't leave, so they get lazy. Know what you want, and don't cave (frame). And don't be lazy (discipline)…

The only thing you could have done better here, is to not raise your voice to the other guy. You get him to focus on you, and you tell him exactly what you need him to do, with authority. Sounds like you need some time in solitude to gain perspective. And maybe things that used to be fun, now feel like a prison. That's normal. Figure out what you want, and make the changes required. Also, we're all in a prison of some kind, and we're all free compared to someone. Those books aren't wrong; they just point out a truth that we either accept or fail against.

I was just reading about Casanova in Laws of Power, about how he would give himself fully to a woman. - The object of his desire. It struck me as truth that a man who loves himself fully is able to extend himself fully to a woman, and still retain his identity and agency. From Casanova's Wiki: As William Bolitho points out in Twelve Against the Gods, the secret of Casanova's success with women "had nothing more esoteric in it than [offering] what every woman who respects herself must demand: all…

What? That's just having fun, either way. What you have to do is tri-split-image with girls on bottom, then guys on bottom. ...then guy-girl, and a guy AND girl on top. Then get some marshmallows, and watch the internet burn.
/r/MGTOW24/08/18 03:10 AM

Exactly! It's like saying "fuck you" without actually saying it. Kinda like when he is hitting on your girl, when you are right there. If he was polite, he would say, "Ah, sorry guys. I didn't know." And he would be on his way. Don't be nice. Show your teeth, but do it in a way that allows the other guy to back out, and save face. Your woman will love it because it shows social acumen, and strength.

Acknowledging him and walking away is a good way to draw a line, and let the other guy save face. Not shaking is putting yourself above him, without rubbing it in his face. The more you get into it, the more you say, the more it becomes a conflict. Brilliant.

Men love thier women > women love thier children > children love puppies When a woman aborts babies without remorse or any change in birth control measures, it's pathological. When that's happening more often than not, we have a pathological society.

Those two stats are exclusive. The body measurement stat is an average. I'd like to see the distribution. The 20% stat is from online dating; OK Cupid, specifically. So it's representative of online dating women, a particularly horrid bunch. I think there's truth here, but I'd like to see more concrete stats. Though good luck getting women to answer honestly in the area of relationships. Unfortunately society reinforces communication via plausible deniability from childhood.

Because it's not that simple. Both masculine and feminine traits exist in men and women. Finding someone who balances those traits is difficult. The most straightforward approach is to align your sex with the dominant trait of that sex. Anecdote: I've noticed that a man or a woman alone for long enough manifests whatever trait is missing. Single moms acting masculine. Divorced guys becoming more sensitive and self-reflective. I know studies have been conducted on prison inmates that reinforce th…

If you did take her virginity, that's a red flag. She's been holding back until college, and you just opened a door. Long term, what? - You get married, and live happily ever after? Nah, she will always wonder what she missed out on. I wouldn't bother trying to be exclusive with anyone in college. It's not fair to anyone. Redux: Looks, status, cash. Are you advising the fabrication of these things for SMV? Men can chose style, and self care; though it is built over some time. Status is built over time. What you didn't notice is your bro putting himself out there MANY times, and dealing with rejection, while you were fixating on one woman. You offered pressure and expectation. I second this. When approaching groups, the order of address is alpha guys, beta guys, then HB1-10. The important thing is to genuinely desire to know what each person's motivation and connections are. You will assert yourself at the top of the dominance heirachy by understanding the group dynamic better than the group does. That's the cold mechanics of it. The social benefit is that you make some friends, and endear yourself with the girl you like.

Once you don't have a gut rolling over, the rest is confidence. -or what I like to call, "I give zero fucks because I'm not a fat-ass". As far as lifting goes, you're doing a 5x5. So when you can't get your 5x5 set, you do what you can twice, even if it's one rep. Then you drop the weight by 10% on the third try. Next keep adding the five pounds. Any form of "I have a boyfriend", I answer with "He won't mind when he sees how well we get along". You need to laugh this off, and leave a pregnant pause. She will, or she won't. Either way, you win, or it was a funny/cocky thing to say.

Cheat sheet for you: 1. Assume it's a shit test 2. Ignore or escalate 3. If she walks away, it wasn't a shit test You had nothing to lose, unless you cared about the outcome. In that case, you need to internalize "outcome independence" and "abundance mentality", and realize that there will be plenty more opportunities for you.

She understands JS, and CS in general, and she communicates well. There's a maternal quality that would appeal to engineers, and a large ven of Redditors. She seems comfortable, and not as risky. Triage, man. Here's what you do... The good news is that women are emotional. The bad news is that you texted her up too much. Take it from a veteran over-texter. Go live your life for three months. Ping her again in roughly three months, with an "I thought of you" text and photo, of something you know she would dig, if / when it comes along. How about selective hyper-honesty. Pick the things that show your value, and be extremely honest about them (not dollars and cents; keep some mystery). Then avoid (or say "NO" to) discussing your weaker qualities. Women will fall in love with your strong qualities, and justify your weaker ones (just like we do with women). Don't lie. It will always burn you. It's like buying a relationship with loan shark money.

Is shirtless better than, say, in a pool, or tight shirt, or shirt coming up, showing abs? I understand that women communicate covertly, and are turned-off by overt messages (ie. the classic shirtless mirror selfie). Is this even true? I'm not jacked, just fit, and older. So maybe the rules are different for me. I'm genuinely curious as to what works, and who it works for.

Try building attraction. Kino. Create moments. Don't take too much; pull back before she does. Move to a new location, and continue to escalate. Of course get her alone, so it's just you and her (plausible deniability for her). Invite her to a location where things can happen. Your place, some secluded area, or "let's chill in my car and listen to music", whatever. In my experience, as soon as you have to ask overtly, you are moving into her frame. I get you, man. The problem is unresolved issues, evident by your polarization. I did the same thing, not so long ago. You need to be okay with yourself, then you can accept women for who they are. Monk mode for thirty days, and see what kind of shit you can dig out of your soul. Deal with it, and learn. Seeking pleasure as an end (especially with a woman as the end) is the path to misery.

I started lifting after getting some great advice at TRP. I'm six weeks into Stronglifts 5x5, and I feel great! I'd do it just for the emotional lift; it's better than psych therapy. I'm beet to a consultation for T therapy. I think my levels are good. Sex drive is strong. I wouldn't mind a boost to gain mass quicker, and feel better, so I'm following through there. Essentially this is a vampire who is feeding on you. When you walk away, the vampire does ANYTHING to bring you back, because it wants to feed off of your resources. Being a man, vulnerable to appeals of pride, you may think, "this woman REALLY wants me!". No, she doesn't. She wants the resources that you provide. Stronglifts 5x5 is all compound lifts. It trains your body to get bigger. It helps with overall fitness, and has helped me with running. It's mostly from the core training of balancing the bar. In the first year of lifting, you can gain 24 lbs of muscle. It drops off sharply after that. It's worth doing the research to figure out how to be more efficient. I'm on that threshold now, doing a 5x5 but not eating enough to build, so I keep losing weight. Great problem to have, but yeah, you need to pick between bulk and cut. And what I've been advised is to increase the protein to bulk on the 5x5, then cut. Then repeat. So no abs right away, but bigger, then abs, then bigger... you get the idea.

Stop caring about progress with women. Force yourself to talk to all people, not just women. And keep improving for yourself. The women will just start happening when you don't care if they like you. I say, "I'm a problem solver", deadpan. I let it hang there. This usually gets a laugh, then, "no really?" Then I tell a story from work where I kicked ass. It can be from years ago. It only matters that it's interesting, and shows how I took the lead, and got shit done. Short, and sweet. Follow it up with, "Give me a problem you have right now, and I'll solve it." Give a stupid, funny solution, not an actual solution. This shifts the attention back to her, and opens new lines of conversation.

I hope someone sidebars "Me Mode". I've been Monk Mode for a couple months, but I'm open, not closed. I'm not pursuing any women, but I freely talk to anyone I meet. The strange thing I have noticed is that both men and women approach and talk to me. It's like, I guess the "monk / priest effect". I'm giving out this vibe that I don't want or need anything from anyone, and I have no agenda whatsoever. It's like an invitation for people to talk to me. I'm actually enjoying this plus no alcohol, pl…

"Learn to get drunk without alcohol, learn to fly without drugs, learn to masturbate without hands and you will achieve happiness" I understand "drunk without alcohol", and along the same lines, "fly without drugs", but how do you "masturbate with no hands?" I get that there are mechanical or proxies to masturbate, but I'm interested in an explanation of the metaphor. I have heard of experiences that transcend sex.

You said it all, man! You aren't in shape (which sucks for online dating). Passing shit tests is all about maintaining "frame", which is really about knowing who you are, what your goals are, and not compromising those for a woman, EVARRRR! Get the book, "Rational Male". Then start building a battle plan for your life. It will only be when you forget about women, that they start appearing.

Yes, a confident skinny guy will get 9's. But confidence is a formula. To simplify the formula, "Have a mission" (that does not include scoring with women). I'd say, if you're fat or unhealthy, get to the gym to even that out. Otherwise, just have goals that contribute to your mission as a man. Women sense it, and are attracted to it.

When you die, you're dead. So what's a few more days? (Man, I've been there) Find a real, local person or group, and ask for help and support. Read, "No More Mr. Nice Guy". The problem is that there is no "you", just projections of your family. You need to break that connection, and find yourself. $70K is not your problem. None of it is your problem. Forgive them; forgive yourself.

Find the edges of my fear? It's from a book called, "The Way of the Superior Man", by David Deida. He talks about "fucking the world". It's a trip; mind blowing. In essence it's about being present and open, and pushing yourself. But you're essentially correct in your post. The shape of a man is not congruous with his woman; it's his character / confidence that determines his match. Physical fitness is low-hanging fruit (relatively), and contributes to this. Don't underestimate the power of endo…

"Monk mode". I'm single (42) after a 15 year emotionally abusive marriage. I have almost zero social time, but I managed online dating, got shitty dates, and eventually a shitty relationship that I ruined. I shifted focus to working out (towards a goal), accomplishments at work, and building character. I don't play video games or watch TV. I eat well and get decent sleep. I have also volunteered for charities with social opportunities, and I make conversation (I am open) with anyone I meet. I ac…

Shit man, you need to find your "edge" then. Forget women. Find the absolute edges of your fear, and lean into those fears. The right women will appear in your life when you do this.

I read a lot about hobbies below, and I'd say be specific about those hobbies. Take improv, dance, voice or guitar. Join social clubs or charities. Intramural sports, or take a cooking class. These hobbies will socialize you (with women). Also do your guy-centric hobbies, and give them equal importance.

Lifting helps your confidence. Confidence is key. Therefore, lifting contributes to the answer, but is not the answer in-and-of itself. It is an awesome gateway though!

I have the same problem. Try you tube for "sparking attraction" (Dan Bacon is my favorite). Guys tend to respond to overt intellectual, women for covert emotional. There are different expressions of alpha, but you always need to be authentic. If you push, it's hollow, and women see right through that. There's no easy path. You need to internalize working sexual language into your conversation with women. They smell "fake" from a mile away.

I get it. Before I knew about red pill, I was just really open and honest. I had almost the same exact words said to me, and I responded, "Okay, cool." She got drunk, went home with me, and said, "You've been so nice to me, we can have sex if you want". Yeah, I had no idea what I was doing. The moral of the story is that if she's dishing backhanded complements, then she's into you. At the very least, nod in agreement. Preferably vocalize the affirmative, "I know." (eye contact, imagine you are i…

In front of a woman... * Watering eyes or "single tear" at war movies, okay. * Watering eyes or "single tear" at romantic / tragedy movies, not okay. * Watering eyes or "single tear" at chapter life moments (funeral, wedding, visiting distant family, etc.), okay. * Watering eyes or "single tear" at "special" life moments (spectacular sunrise, double rainbow, etc.), not okay. * Sobbing, or losing control of your emotions, never, ever, okay. Physically healthy, 15 lbs overweight which I'm actively working on by running three miles / day and eating low carb, high protein. I have some issues with alcohol binging which, I'm doing better with (fewer incidences, not drinking to hangover). Financially okay, with a high paying job. Debt from the divorce which I'll pay off in a couple years. Socially good. I have some great friends, and I make new friends easily. I get along with just about everyone I meet. Intellectually good. You're not afraid of your heart being broken, you're afraid of your ego being shattered. You are correct. And that's what has always happened. I have always picked insecure women with abandonment issues thinking that they will never leave me. Not only that, I've always been the one to break up out of frustration when my attempts to "fix" them haven't worked. I have a lot of work to do. Women will begin appearing in your life and you'll find you don't really care. This is what happened to me a fe…

Get off Tinder, Okstupid and Plenty of Shrimp. I deleted all dating profiles a week after I took the red pill. 100s of men messaging one woman. If I'm chatting with her, there are five other guys. If I meet her, I get to see how bad she looks compared to her photos from ten years ago. And if I date her, there are 100s of men still messaging her. Many of the girls on these sites are fucked up. They have a lot of problems and aren't worth your time. That's exactly what I got; some fucked-up women.…

Ten. Context: PB one-itis though college. Had a couple of drunk hookups, but mostly friend-zoned myself, or disqualified the woman. Post college went celibate Christian, and dated a lot of girls, but nothing past making out. Married my ex wife and didn't look at other women, even in the sexless last couple years of marriage. On the other side of marriage, disqualified a dozen women in three months (all online dating), turning down sexual advances on at least two dates. Got hooked on one woman wh…

"Looking for deep connection" is blue speak for I want others to fix me. You're on the money here. The root of my white knight and cap'n save-a-ho behavior is co-dependence. It's as if by demonstrating value, I can somehow "earn" love. I started lifting and running (more) as an outlet for my angst. That and inside-out personal improvement. I know this is a good path. Definitely better than being angry an bitter, or using women to get over women. So you're saying that working-out will fix my ment…

Amazing; introspective and expressive. I've only recently killed my inner white knight, so I'm asking as much as I'm observing. Your attitude in the pickup phase is arrogant. Is that necessary? For example, if the girl is falling all over you, do you need to game her that hard? Is it possible to pull back a little so that you are still leading? That way you are in charge, but not completely dominating her. Even if you are purposefully creating a more balanced dynamic, doesn't that increase intim…

MGTOW is a spectrum. On one site is the off-the-grid hermit, and on the other side is the guy who doesn't get married. In the middle is one-night stands and short term relationships.
