The society has changed so much in a short time, so that both genders have problems to adjust. I see a lot of individuals having a lonely life and can't reach out anymore, because lack of social skills and understanding others. Most conversation topics concern entertainment and shallow views of opposite sex. Everyone has problems of some sorts.

Umm, what? To me it seems, that they just were and are used to see you in that LTR. Families are just like that, they know you from birth and tend to know what is going on with you now with that perspective, what they remember you by, not who you are now. Hi, I’m quite new here, so my view of things are fresh. The main idea of the mgtow is in the name; men going their own way. That implies, that there isn’t any centralized authority or rules. To me, it is about valuing yourself, not relying on others for self-worth.
