I think you're viewing these countries with rose coloured glasses. Don't know about Switzerland but its not that easy in Canada. I work 50+ hours a week to have an above average salary only for a 3rd or more of it to get taxed and still not be able to afford my own home because of how expensive it is in cities where there is a decent pool of professional jobs.
