I have the same story aside from the medical issues. It’s hard and you’ll be in your head constantly. It’s been three years since and I’m just now starting to accept it. I’ve learned a lot about myself though and now have a better perspective of how unhealthy the marriage was for both of us. It helps when you’re able to step back and assess the situation. I hired ADAM and about 2/3 of the way through the process I was told I have a new representative. Their email after about two weeks of no communication said, “As you know, redacted is no longer with us! Please let me, your new rep, know if you have any questions about your case!” It was jarring and still have no idea what happened to the person I had been corresponding with. I still have questions although my divorce has since been finalized.

We have that too, but we had done our taxes early in the divorce process. Here’s the thing though, I’m supposed to get odd years but she claimed for the child this year. Idk. I’m so overwhelmed with stress.
