Young men who wank vigorously to porn may struggle, but they're in the minority.

Silver worn daily won't tarnish. I have two silver chains on my wrist for going on two years and they're very shiny and white. The setting and the hardness of the stone still matters, though.

Yeah... Owning the car maybe means he gets to drive it where and how he likes. But does he also own her personal space and safety? If I were a hitchhiker, and the driver pulled over to pick up another hitchhiker, I couldn't object because it's his car. I'm just a passenger. I can get out if I don't want to share with another person. Is that the OP's status? If he'd simply said, "Oh, sorry. It just didn't occur to me that you'd mind" I could understand. But, "It's my car so I can do what I want" …

He's already decided if you're attractive and feminine. Men decide if they want you within mere seconds of meeting you.

Checked post history. This is a guy looking to boost viewership.

If after meeting him, you still feel this way about him, then go for it. What you describe sounds ideal. Someone you can believe in and stand by in any situation. Just be sure that he feels the same.

Definitely wait until you've met before you do anything.

As a westerner I don't know if I can help. You both have to take your families into consideration. I think you should talk to your parents and stress that this man can make you happy. Then assess if they can be happy with your situation. They may be intractibly prejudiced against it. Then you have to decide how much impact that would have on your life.
/r/RedPillWomen06/06/25 12:59 PM

OP has already amended the situation. There's no reason to go on about it.

Few women understand how important sex is to men. I have read that the less sex men have, the more they crave it. Women are the opposite - the less they have, the less they think about it.

In some countries, marriage takes place in two locations - one in the church and one in the government office. The religious rite and the legal contract are seperated.

At some point, perhaps even before you met him, he chose not to be the kind of man you want. He may feel differently about someone else, but he won't feel that way about you.

I believe that men put us into a basket and there we stay. He's either just a guy who doesn't want a prize or he's got you categorised as easy sex. I don't think you can change his mind.

Yes! I am an alcoholic and it simply comes down to not being able to stop once I start. It's a progressive condition that never improves.

You did right. If this guy were keen, he'd have been on the ball.

It sounds like you're doing the right stuff. Just be prepared for this to take a long time. He will never fully "get over it." But he should eventually start to emerge from where he is. He should start to have periods of not thinking about it. In those times, be light and fun to be with. If, after a few weeks, he's still under the duvet or showing signs of depression, seek advice on what you can do for him.
/r/RedPillWomen22/03/25 10:06 AM

He's not your husband - you've made no vows. You are simply vetting him to see if he's a good potential life partner. It sounds as if he doesn't suit your needs. Trying to either change him to suit your needs or change your needs to suit him won't work in the long term.

If he doesn't feel scammed, it's OK.

I guess you should just let it go. If he's happy with the work and the price, leave him to it.
/r/RedPillWomen16/11/24 01:11 PM

That's not silent treatment. That's having a boundary and communicating it. Silent treatment is an emotionally abusive game where you punish someone by refusing to engage on any level. Maybe OP could have dealt in a better way, but she wasn't being abusive and noncommunicative.
/r/RedPillWomen15/11/24 06:26 AM

He's not interested. He may fancy you but for some reason he doesn't want it to happen. Maybe he doesn't fancy you but likes to see you liking him so he's flirting a bit. But he's said he's not interested so take him at his word. Don't waste any time trying to decode this guy. If a man wants a woman, he will make a move.
/r/RedPillWomen21/08/24 10:22 AM

You are cruising for a bruising! He will never commit to you. Maybe some other woman someday but not you. Because he's decided that you're not The One. He maybe doesn't want to find her now, but when he does, it won't be you because he's already categorised you. Guys never upgrade women in category - we can only fall lower in their estimation. And all his talk about spiritual self improvement is self-centered, naval-gazing woo woo. Avoid guys who talk in that jargon like the plague. And his talk…

I have never personally met anyone who has a DUI that isn't an alcoholic. That he has two is a clear indication that he is definitely, without a doubt, an alcoholic. You do not want to be married to that. I absolutely promise you that. NOBODY deserves to be married to a cheating, lying alcoholic. Nobody.
/r/RedPillWomen31/05/24 03:05 PM

Don't do it.
/r/RedPillWomen26/04/24 07:47 PM

You're trying to solve the problem like it's a puzzle - if only you could figure out the magic words to say, or change your appearance, he'd decide you deserved pleasure. You can't solve it. He doesn't do these things because he doesn't care and you can't change that. You're wasting your time trying to get blood from a stone.

Since you have your own money, what would he do if you bought yourself a car? Like, if he came home and there it was?

He's telling you that he doesn't plan to marry you. Men can and do use women for "right now" with no thought. They may even have a vague idea that there's a perfect woman out there they haven't even met yet, but they're comfortable now. He offered to break up. He was giving you an out. Break up with him and move on. Be prepared for him to equivocate and seem unsure but be firm. He needs to be without you to see how he feels. He is unlikely to come back on one knee. Be prepared also to hear that …

I think if you posted this on a sexwork sub, you'd get some harsh input. It would be full of cynicism that's unfortunately based in lived experience. Just because he's OK with your job doesn't mean that you have to settle. And it does sound like you're subsidising him to some extent. He's (supposedly) investing in a future that you have no legal claim to whilst you're paying real money now. At the very least, tell him that you want to split the bills 50/50.
/r/RedPillWomen25/02/24 04:09 PM

He thinks you're too young to debate with but not too young to sleep with? Yikes.

Andrew Tate is charged with trafficking and pimping. He has openly boasted about getting women to fall for him and do sex work for him. This guy is just following his hero and draining women as a resource. He does not respect you.
/r/RedPillWomen27/12/23 09:18 PM
3

Have his friends said things like, "wow! Never thought I'd see him settled/bring a girl home/so in love?" Are they indicating that they are seeing something in him they've never seen before?
/r/RedPillWomen13/12/23 06:49 PM
10

But would it have changed you from the kind of guy who doesn't want to get his hands dirty to the kind who is primarily concerned about someone else's safety? I don't think he can change into a protective alpha male just because he has been told to. Better they should find partners who like them as they are.
/r/RedPillWomen11/12/23 04:42 PM
15

Wanting him to spontaneously give you these things - gifts, celebrations - is a way to be disappointed. You can convey to him how happy they make you by acting really happy and showing enthusiasm in gratitude. Even if you have to ask him, just making it very clear that he's made you happy is all you can do. Men who love us want to make us happy. If he's not motivated to make you happy, he's not the one.
/r/RedPillWomen05/12/23 06:59 PM
41

You're not being unreasonable. You can tell him that you'd like to celebrate on the day or the weekend, because that's what feels good. State it simply. "I would like to do something on that day." If he doesn't want to do it, then he doesn't. You get to decide how you feel about that. We don't try to change boyfriends: we vet them. If they're not what we want we move on.
/r/RedPillWomen05/12/23 06:10 PM
9

Realise that there's a limit to what you can do. Be supportive and loving, but only he can do what he has to do. He might fail. He might have to leave the country. That will impact and likely end your relationship - but you can't make that a reason to shoulder his burden.
/r/RedPillWomen01/12/23 05:24 PM

I am torn on if you should or not. It seems to be flushing out some of the red flags, but I would worry it might come across as baggage. People can be weird and see someone as damaged if they've ever been the victim of mistreatment. I guess I feel like maybe the best thing is for the past to be a mystery.
/r/RedPillWomen26/11/23 11:38 PM

The key issue is your fiance. Does he have a shiny spine? Or does he default to appeasing his mother in any situation? It can be hard to see these things before marriage, but once you're married, your marriage has to be his priority. If he has to choose between keeping his mom happy and respecting your boundaries and needs, he must be able to side with you. This will become increasingly important once there are children.

Op, this thread has been on my mind. I know that the point of this sub is to focus on what we can do, rather than complaining about men and trying to change them. But I am a bit worried about you. You have described a husband who, due to anxiety, has to have the entire household behave to his liking, and yourself as going so far to comply as to doing things like tiptoeing around holding the dog in order to maintain silence. You mention that he doesn't want any airborne dust and describe yourself…
/r/RedPillWomen03/11/23 01:22 PM
3

It's what he wants and his wife wants to do everything she can to give him that. Even if that means tiptoeing and holding the dog for several hours to maintain silence.
/r/RedPillWomen01/11/23 09:16 PM
5

I think the OP believes that his wishes are to be respected and she's willing to do whatever she can to comply with them. I admit that my eyebrows were raised up to the crown of my head after reading some of the comments, but in this sub we approach things from the POV of doing what we can to improve ourselves, rather than trying to change men.

Could your husband go to bed earlier so that waking up with you isn't as onerous for him?
/r/RedPillWomen01/11/23 04:31 PM

Women. We have fairy tale dreams. We wish for this so much that we'll overlook stuff like him being unemployed or living in filthy squalor, because we cling to the idea of Romance. But a guy being employed and hygienic wins no points on that, unless he gives us tingles
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 11:17 AM

You don't, but I think this guy does.
/r/RedPillWomen16/10/23 08:28 AM

It's not unusual and he's just being honest, but you don't have to like it or accept it for yourself. He feels entitled to sleep with other women and all he will ever do differently is hide that from you or future partners.
/r/RedPillWomen15/10/23 08:23 PM

Of course it won't.

I feel like you're asking "what magical feminine tricks can I perform to make him do what I want." Sometimes, there's just nothing you can do. I would bet that if I could sprinkle magic fairy dust on you that made you genuinely stop caring about him, he would somehow sense this instantly and come running. He'd chase you and try to pin you down. But as soon as he caught you, he'd revert to making you feel insecure. That's just what he does. Until he decides to change and works on it, he won't be …
/r/RedPillWomen13/10/23 12:05 PM

Just smile at him and say "hi!" and ask how he is. That's all you need to do. If you can't bring yourself to do that, then you're not mature enough to date.
/r/RedPillWomen28/09/23 10:00 PM
13

That shouldn't be a turn off. Either he's got a fetish for particular underwear and requires it to be aroused, or he's controlling - the stopping sex because you're not wearing what he wants sounds to me like withholding affection.
/r/RedPillWomen15/09/23 01:24 AM
16

Baggy, greying, granny pants with period stains can be an understandable turn off, although I think most guys will keep going. But simple cotton bottoms that aren't ragged shouldn't be a problem.( Plenty of men really like them, actually.) What exactly do you find comfortable and what does he prefer?
/r/RedPillWomen15/09/23 01:02 AM
2

They're not mutually exclusive.
/r/RedPillWomen13/09/23 07:07 PM
2

Most of us will focus on our appearance in the morning, before we go to work. Then when we're at work, we focus on work. But, even whilst there, we're (hopefully) not mindless labouring drones. We have relationships with the community of clients and coworkers. There's often friendly banter, even friendships. There is nothing wrong with wanting to present yourself favourably to other people at work.
/r/RedPillWomen13/09/23 06:58 PM
5

Who said anything about "sexy?" OP said "feminine." There's nothing gross about feminity.
/r/RedPillWomen13/09/23 02:57 PM

Looking feminine isn't the same as looking "sexy." That is, nobody is talking about skin tight or cleavage. There's nothing wrong with looking feminine, because there is nothing wrong with being feminine.
/r/RedPillWomen13/09/23 02:57 PM

If you don't like computers, but do like working with people, then I don't think you should go into IT. Is there anything else he would be OK with?
/r/RedPillWomen25/08/23 11:57 PM

You could even demonstrate it to them. Do a bunch of contouring and photograph it head on in flattering indoor light. Then show them how it looks from the side in natural daylight. Tell them that as long as they're not drunk in a dimly lit nightclub, they will not be fooled for an instant.
/r/RedPillWomen24/08/23 12:43 PM
18

You have no idea why he got mad?
/r/RedPillWomen20/08/23 11:25 AM
98

He sounds sane and like a good guy.
/r/RedPillWomen08/08/23 08:04 PM
4

I think not. If a woman believes in being old fashioned, then she can wait for a man to ask her. I think the asker pays. Or at least you split the bill.
/r/RedPillWomen08/08/23 01:16 PM
2

They can! But if that convo doesn't immediately lead to the point of meeting and reconciling, then it's not a sign that they want to be with you.
/r/RedPillWomen06/08/23 10:22 PM
3

When they say, "I miss you. I want to see you. Can we meet?" and so forth. "I miss you" isn't enough. They have to state that they want to do something about it and then follow through. Any waffling is bullshit.
/r/RedPillWomen06/08/23 03:38 PM
4

I would say it's crucial in order for you to grow and be a better person. You can be a lovely, supportive partner to someone else and the faster you get over this guy, the sooner you'll be able to do that. Block him so he can't pop back in to mess with your head. I swear these guys can sense when you've moved on.
/r/RedPillWomen06/08/23 08:21 AM
14

Go think positively and be your best self without him. I would bet my next month's pay that if you fell in love with someone else, he'd suddenly declare that you're now what he wants. Seriously, this sounds bad. He's going to string you along with these breadcrumbs for years. Asking how you are every so often is just breadcrumbing. You really think he's waiting for you to be what he wants, like a green banana or something? Nonsense. He will get with someone else if he wants to be with anyone.
/r/RedPillWomen06/08/23 08:13 AM

I am guessing that he will tell her that an ultimatum is just her failing to prove she deserves him. He either loves her or he doesn't.
/r/RedPillWomen06/08/23 08:09 AM

How does he feel about this? Is he still in your life at all?
/r/RedPillWomen06/08/23 07:28 AM

I think "pick me" is to put down other girls in order to try and compete with them. Literally, "pick me over her." You're just describing being agreeable.

I am an escort and I get the RP stuff here. I do use it for my work. The number one thing men crave is respect. I have to manage the booking and keep them happy while enforcing boundaries in a way that they don't feel dominated. It's all applicable!
/r/RedPillWomen15/07/23 08:36 PM

It's your choice to feel sorry for yourself.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 08:01 PM

I got the point. Carrying that around with you and allowing it to spoil an otherwise promising relationship is a choice. I have met many short men who are confident and very popular with women. I have even been impressed with the balls on a short guy for approaching me. Sure, being big is attractive, but confidence is an aphrodisiac.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/23 06:00 AM
3

But if a woman is smiling at you, clearly interested in you, actually on a date with you, bitching about her being taller is fucking stupid. I have genuinely not noticed he's shorter until he grouses about me being "too tall." Then he will suddenly look like a little bitch.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 11:04 PM

I'm 5'10" and I don't care, unless he's very significantly shorter, like 5'2".
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 11:02 PM

As a tall woman who absolutely has dated shorter men I find it's usually the guy who has a problem with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/23 08:46 PM

Exactly! A lot of them are married and want sex without the risk of blowing up their families.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 02:37 PM
1

I am 53. Genuinely attractive, fit younger men pay me for sex. I look good for my age - stay fit at the gym, etc, but they're choosing me because they think an older provider has something to offer. All manner of men punt for a wide variety of reasons.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 02:35 PM

Sex industry exists because of demand. The providers and performers are not really the ones driving the industry and directing the market. They're responding to it.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 06:28 AM
1

The ones I know tend to meet a client they really click with and the guy gets them on a deep level and doesn't have typical views of sexual roles and power. The ones I know enjoy being able to relax with someone they can trust and not have to be in control of everything.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 06:26 AM
2

Most clients of prostitutes just want sex without hassle. Some might pay because they have to but quite a few just want to fuck someone different, or don't want any emotional entanglements at all. Some want to lie back and get a blow job without needing to put any reciprocal effort in. Quite a few are dominant/lead in bed if the provider is cool with that.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/23 06:23 AM
2

He's aware that he's fallen short and it sounds like he is trying to change, but that's no reason to stay with him. I once found out that an emotionally unavailable guy went to therapy after we broke up and was able to fall in love and get married. It wasn't a matter of not being willing to do it for me - the failure of our relationship was his wakeup call and he decided to grow and change. Good for him. I recommend that you move on by cutting off contact and focusing on yourself. He may try to …
/r/RedPillWomen22/06/23 10:50 AM

Being emotionally healthy doesn't mean being a pussy. When George W Bush choked up in his speech after 9/11 or at his father's funeral, he didn't seem like a pussy. He was displaying what people had always liked about him - humanity and empathy - he seemed like the kind of guy you could have a beer with (people used to say that.) It's true that we despise weakness, but not human vulnerability.

Yep! I'm not trad con, but I think this sub is great for young women who want to be in relationships with traditional gender roles.
/r/RedPillWomen05/06/23 07:52 PM

This sub is about holding women accountable. Whenever a member posts about a relationship issue, we stick strictly to what her responsibility is. It's about how to behave in a relationship in order to encourage traditional gender roles in which the man leads and the woman supports. I don't see much discussion about what the RP guys ought to be doing. It's just about how to be feminine. The HVM are simply those who are emotionally prepared for a traditional marriage, perhaps able to support a fam…

Don't go making excuses based on his unhappy childhood. Once you start doing that, I want to shout "he's just not that into you" What do you want from a man? To make you feel loved and cherished. And for marriage. He's not giving you that and he's not going to. Cut your losses.
/r/RedPillWomen05/06/23 01:04 PM

This is so true. As I was reading the op I was thinking, "Chad rarely makes girls squeal." You don't need a big dick, either. You just need to give a shit about her pleasure and be willing to find what works for her.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/23 05:37 AM

Based on them just thinking anyone over 30 is "old." Because they're just kids. Of course there are exceptions. But in general most 18yo girls think guys over mid 30's are old.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/23 05:14 PM

Most girls that age think 35 is old.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/23 01:16 PM

Younger women just go, "ew!" when a 35yo hits on them. They're not interested in the social ramifications.

The reason younger men aren't approaching IRL is they're young - ie insecure ninnies. Older men are more confident.

I think you're right to be unhappy about this. But I don't think you can do anythings about it - he wants her in his life and he won't prioritise you. The only thing you can do is move on and find someone else. Maybe she can't be choos and has to accept his crumbs, but you sure can.
/r/RedPillWomen31/05/23 08:57 AM

Ambitious? That's not good. She won't put you first. Hard working is great. Hobbies and interests are obviously good. But she should be willing to work hard as long as her husband wants her to but put her career second to his needs.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/23 03:37 PM

I don't think men shouldn't want that. I think it's perfectly natural. I just think if a man actually asked a girl that, and that's what she actually said, he wouldn't respond well.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/23 03:36 PM

You'd think so. But if you ask her that question, and that's her answer, what are you honestly going to think of her?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/23 03:34 PM

I think if a woman actually said that in response, the guy would scoff. As others have said, the question isn't really asked in good faith.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/23 03:33 PM

The things men actually desire from women sound weak. "I'm young and fit with a pretty face. I have a very low body count. I have an agreeable personality."

I am fine with this. If I'm out with a guy and he's not chivalrous, then I know he's not very interested in me. I believe every man will, if he's interested enough, be keen to hold doors, etc. I was recently asked out by a guy who walked very, very fast as I struggled to keep up with him. He liked me enough to spend time with me but I didn't inspire him to treat me like a lady. I wasn't upset about it. I just knew what it meant and didn't take him seriously.

The point of Christianity is to not be shackled to our past mistakes and sins. Mary Magdalene was a fallen woman who, after her conversion, became the first person to encounter the risen Christ. Not even his own mother - a virgin - had that honour. Today is Good Friday. Spend this weekend in prayer and reflection on the sacrifice of Christ on the cross. Pray through tomorrow, as He is in the tomb, and come Sunday morning celebrate the assurance that your sins (which are minor and perfectly norma…

You may have been poor, etc when you met him, but that doesn't mean you have to settle. The guy is irresponsible with money. You are right to be concerned. Why would you make you and your child dependent on someone you don't trust? This guy feels entitled to call the shots because he has the economic power over you. In my (very extensive) experience, kissing is a sample of what the sex will be like. Bad kissing never leads to good sex. You said that you don't like the way he touches your body. In my opinion, this can't be taught. A good lover will read the feedback and respond to that. They'll adjust intuitively to your response. The best lover I've ever had is a wizard at this - finding things that even I didn't realise I liked. The worst are the kind who think that foreplay is scrabbling at your vulva lik…

The baby becomes the most important thing in the universe to a mother and some husbands struggle with that. Mothers can get upset about their husbands not being able to do things around the house and become resentful at what starts to feel like a second child to care for.

I had three boys (well I still have them but they're teens now.) Boys are generally very sweet and affectionate. They love their mommies. They usually (obviously not always) naturally gravitate to boy toys like trucks and dinosaurs - they love nothing more than to see a firetruck or bulldozer go past. Your husband will be a masculine example for him, so don't worry about your role. Just be a mom, and all will be fine.

You are right that men are more easily isolated and that's really sad. Good point about the sort of men who approach women they don't know. That used to actually be a pretty taboo thing to do for the middle and higher classes. You had to be introduced to someone. Even another man may be weirded out by a cold approach. I'm gonna disagree on washing hair with any given frequency. Unless your hair gets sweaty/oily or you are in a smelly environment (like around smokers or working in a greasy kitchen or something), I think hair should be washed as infrequently as possible. Career means nothing to men. So long as she's not a lazy layabout, it makes no difference. If anything, a high-powered career is a liability in the eyes of men. Doing something middle class is good-but that can be something in non-profit or the arts, like a gallery or museum. Posh girls do that until they marry posh bankers. Of course. But you have to lower your expectations drastically. At 26, yes, you have hit the wall. Sorry. It's true. But you can be a prize to a much older man. Especially if you have no baggage of your own and are happy to step up to handle his baggage. A 40yo with 2 kids and weekend custody can still feel lucky to get you. You can yet be an utter princess to a 60+year old and his kids may be on their own so less hassle. But the best men will cherry pick the best women and you ain't it. Sorry.

My current obsession is a man who is 62, an inch shorter than me, rather introverted and mild mannered. But he's kind and I trust him and he fucks like a freight train. I've been infatuated with him for about 8 months, now.

I'm an escort and I'm about 99 percent there. So far the worst I've done is grin and bear it. Then blocked them. I'm fine with most men and will look for something to connect with when possible. In recreational sex, like at sex clubs, I just want a friendly face, not obese and not an idiot. If I'm gonna shave my legs and make time to see someone specifically, then I want to see a spark in the friendly face. I'm turned off by model pretty men.

OK. Well, to be fair, it would put a huge amount of pressure on the relationship for you to move there. As an expat who talks to other expats on various fora, I have seen a fair number of instances of someone moving to be with someone, not liking where they are, becoming homesick, and then the relationship suffers. I have also seen stories of people sort of stuck somewhere with few resources if the relationship ends. If you move there with the expectation that he will be the only thing to make i…

Actually, yes, there ought to be some indication that you have good standing in your community. That you are whom you say that you are. It used to be that you only met people who knew your people. In fact, there was a time when if you wanted to chat up a girl, you needed to find someone to introduce you to her. Even if you were at the same social event. The sort of men I'd date I would expect to find some evidence online to indicate who he is. At my age, it is likely to be Linked In and Facebook. Men my age are more likely to be married than not, statistically. It's not a deal breaker - the man I'm currently involved with has no social media - but it can be a hint that he's not being up front. My Facebook is pretty locked down but I'm there. And if I'm involved with someone of course I am happy to add them.

It honestly doesn't matter because his behaviour reveals him to be a pretty crap person. Hopefully they will become good enough to satisfy base urges. They ought to put girls on their notice. Unfortunately, the one thing they can't do is to satisfy the ego... To know that you have seduced a woman into doing something against her best interests and to know that pain inflicted is genuine. Here in England, men like him minus some of his charisma are doing just fine. He's a handsome man who carries himself with confidence. He exudes masculinity. Reiterating the caveat about age, though. Honestly, as someone who likes short men, to me it would seem unmasculine and insecure to do something like that. A shoe that adds an inch or two seems reasonable. That's no reason to do it. Some men have real issues cleaning under their tight foreskin or it hurts when they're erect and that's a good reason. Just keep it very clean (pull back the foreskin and wash thoroughly every day, as well as before sex) and your dick will not be gross.

Mothering nurturing is an intrinsic element of femininity. The key is to provide all of the comfort and support of The Mother without ever making him feel like a child. To be female is a beautiful opportunity to suffer selflessly for something greater than oneself.

I think everything you say is true. But it's based on the idea that the hopes, dreams, and existential experiences of women are equal to those of men. Women who prevail succeed only in securing their own immediate, fleeting comfort. Men who achieve build empires. They land on the moon. They compose odes that convey the glory of such an achievement. A society that equates in importance the immediate temporal comfort of women with the genuinely profound striving of men is at best a mediocre morass…

You're definitely not alone. But I think if men were offered a ONS with the choice I proposed (starfish vs very enthusiastic) I'm sure quite a few would pick the gorgeous starfish. If not for no other reason than this may be their one opportunity in a lifetime to touch such a creature.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/21 11:10 AM
10

I think men are more inclined to enjoy sex with a woman simply because she's gorgeous. They may even choose to bang a 10 starfish over a 6 freak in the sheets. I guess that's down to the men being more visual thing and the fact that they can usually orgasm into a starfish, as if they were a Fleshlight. But I think that they will still become quickly bored and dissatisfied with even the loveliest starfish.

In my experience, the physically beautiful guys are not usually the hottest lovers. And it can be a bit intimidating to be with someone stunningly beautiful. This can distract from the sexual enjoyment.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/21 07:31 AM

Attractive? No. But I'm an older woman so I am not quite as focused on beauty as someone younger may be. Great chemistry? Yes, that can affect the way I will enjoy subsequent lovers.

Women are built to enjoy sex but it is not a priority. A few decades of birth control and legislation don't mean a thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/21 06:09 PM

I agree. There is a lot of emphasis on the performance and enjoyment and I get it. But I think that these are secondary to the male ejaculation. And tertiary after the male's material support.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/21 06:07 PM
1

Getting off on for the sake of it? Nah But I think there is MUCH TOO MUCH emphasis on her pleasure.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/21 06:05 PM

It is better that she enjoys the man. But no... It is not necessary. But I think quite a few men would be reassured to know that she is not lusty and up for anything with anyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/21 06:02 PM
1

I am a slut and very happy. Call it what you want but you cannot argue away the desire for men to feel like they have a loyal woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/21 06:01 PM
1

The point of intercourse is insemination. We don't leave our eggs on a piece of seaweed to be fertilised by the male later like some fish do. There are secondary reasons for sex of course. But the vast majority of our mental and physical machinery is aimed at insemination. And that depends on the male ejaculation. Further, after that the female must somehow convince the male to protect and provide, at least for a while.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/21 05:47 PM
0

Obviously it is better to not have pain but I think there is too much emphasis on the individual autonomy and pleasure I do not believe that female physiognomy is compatible with autonomy. Female bodies exist to gestste babies. Humans are social animals. Women just can't be autonomous. Our bodies and our reproduction are communal.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/21 05:43 PM

No. Sex isn't actually personal. It is communal. It creates babies and that involves other members of the community

I didn't say that they get loose or stretched or any such thing. I have a WAP. I love sex and squirt, etc. But I'm old and not at all marriage material. I belong to the other category of women that is equally necessary for a stable society. There is nothing wrong with being delicate and sensitive. It reassures men that you're not a slut.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/10/21 05:32 PM
-3

The ultimate point of the sex act is insemination - the male ejaculation. It's great to enjoy it - we have evolved with a clit - but we should work to accommodate the male as that is the point of sexual relations

I'm really sorry that you've experienced this. Honestly I think the mistake is believing in equality, I don't want to get kicked off this sub but I'm a woman who thinks it is folly to attempt to meet women in good faith on equal terms. Nature has made one sex significantly stronger and the sex incredibly vulnerable.... This is for a reason.

Why? You don't think that women are meant to recieve the penis? Sure, we get open and wet when we are turned on but the truth is that men like the assurance that we're not too easy. Delicate, tight, sensitive.... This is positive for men. Period.

I think she'd be better with counseling to get her used to the pain. She sounds very tight and feminine and I don't doubt it would make men very excited. The woman's role is to recieve the man. She just needs to accept it and learn to enjoy it.

This was the case in Europe after the first World War. A lot of women were unable to find husbands because so many young men were killed. It has been a partially credited with the start of the sexual revolution, as women had to share men.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/21 09:57 AM

I understand this and my advice to women is to be mindful of what they tell a guy. Some women tried casual sex and found it wasn't for them. Another scenario is that a woman might like a man so much that she is afraid of her heart being broken so she's cautious. She may have viewed some guys in the past as good for sex but not much else and then meets a man whom she thinks is wonderful and therefor take more care.

I've always said that young men who don't feel they have a chance of a productive future are dangerous. One of the reasons there are suicide bombers in radical Islamic terrorism is the surplus of young, unmarried men brought about by polygamy.

I'm sorry if I sound like a troll. I am a woman. I don't think traditional gender roles are at all hateful. I think women have been sold a fraudulent bill of goods that puts them at the odds with their biology. Obviously there are exceptions. Not all women are feminine/nurturing just as not all men are masculine/providers. We are lucky to live in a society that tolerates those who don't conform. But I genuinely believe that we are happier when we are in harmony with our gender roles.

I nagged a man to fix the broken shower and he dragged his feet. I would ask when he was going to do it. I finally dropped it and took baths. Then one day I just said "I don't feel clean taking baths when I'm on my period. I want a shower." He fixed it immediately and cheerfully. Because instead of nagging him about what he ought to do, I expressed a need and he wanted to satisfy it. He enjoyed doing something nice for me. Nobody enjoys chores.

Well, what do you have to offer? Despite what some people say, most high-value men aren't really interested in teenagers as serious partners. You may be very physically attractive, indeed, but someone who is genuinely ready for marriage and family will want someone with a bit of mental and emotional maturity. They often also want someone with an education similar to theirs and some life experience.

I can relate to a lot of what you're saying. I am 51 years old and have decades of experience to draw on in considering your position. Your problem is that you're smarter than average. That means you're smarter than most men. You also sound strong-willed and confident. Being smart, confident, and strong are not bad traits for a person to have. Abandon any thoughts of changing who you are. It won't work. You can modify some behaviours in order to get along better, socially. As you mature you will…

The things you describe as having been traumatic experiences in your life have been the conscious decisions of other people. You can't control other people. It's one thing to honestly evaluate what role you might have played in a dynamic. Why have you been in the position so many times? Are you not setting boundaries or screening out people who aren't good for you? These are fair questions. But they are the ones who have chosen to behave badly. The fault is theirs. Everyone makes bad decisions. …

The thought that my phone is going to be taken for several months might make me think twice about reporting a rape. I don't know exactly how the phones were used. I mean, are they only looking for information regarding the specific incident/accused? And what is shared with the defense? If the victim has sexted a bunch of other guys and talked to girlfriends about enjoying hookups with random people, is that considered relevant? Wouldn't it be used to make her look like a slut who was asking for …

I remember you posting about this, I think. If you've assured him that you had fun, then that's all you can do. He may be insecure or he may have been projecting.

I know you told me why you're afraid to block him - he sounds like a psycho. There's a technique called "grey Rock" that can be used against these kinds of people if you're unable to fully escape them. Basically, you just get very boring and non reactive.

I think you're right, provided we're talking about a man with his ducks in a row. If you are talking about a college boyfriend, then you have to give him an allowance for not being at that point in his life, yet. My mother said that she observed that men will marry whomever they meet when they get to the point of life of wanting to be married. In my opinion, they may date someone until that point, but want someone different to marry.

I was told many years ago by a guy that guys immediately decide if you're someone they can be emotionally attached to or if they just want to fuck you. A girl can be downgraded from potentially serious to sex object, but the upgrade in reverse will never happen.

While it won't work for everyone, a hookup with a hottie can be a great thing. Of course, it can backfire if it goes shit. And some women just don't like hookups. But I use a UK website for hookups and have had some fun. Fills an evening and boosts the ego.

He messaged last night and I grey rocked him perfectly. I asked nothing about how he was doing or feeling. I stuck strictly to rather bland statements about the gym and my lunch. I did ask one question about a mutual acquaintance (legit info to ask.) I didn't inquire about his wrist injury, his workout, or his feelings. I took a while (20-30 minutes) to reply. I actually put my phone away and fell asleep before he replied to my last message. I'm not going to be his emotional support animal any m…

There's no shortage of people to post comments pointing out that the op is doing the pick me dance. Flair like "newbie" is helpful because it indicates that they're new and need guidance. "Probation" has connotations with punitive measures.

I know a woman like this - her gratification goes beyond the man finding her attractive. The real points are scored in the competition against other women. She has a way of getting men to pick her then letting the other woman know what happened. It's weird.

He ran his game on you (dangling possibility of love and commitment) and noticed that you still kept your cool reserve, so he's playing at pushing you away. Blocking and moving on was smart.

Checking in here is definitely helpful! I don't need to let him feel in control. I want him to feel like he lost me because I got bored of him.... I don't want him to be telling the next woman about the last one who got too attached. (He told me that about the last one.) Reminding myself that he's ultimately pretty useless is helpful. He's also hot AF but he's not exactly got a great life or much to be happy about.

Suck in his eyes? It's too soon to say if he's stopped entirely. We fucked weds. He messaged Thurs night and we chatted a bit. Friday afternoon he left me on read and I broke down on Saturday night and messaged him. He was sort of flat. That's it. I know what it means, though.

This is great and really helpful. Thank you so much. I have quit drinking and it is a matter of just saying no in the moment until it passes. Blocking him would be a way to prevent the equivalent of someone putting a cold glass of chardonnay in my hand. I just have to get myself psyched to do it. I didn't quit drinking on a moments notice. I said that I would on a particular day. I'm currently planning to block him at midnight on Friday.

I might call him out on some things, but he never lied to me about anything. I'm ashamed to say that he made it clear that there would be no attachment and that he gets bored once he's been with a woman a few times. So I don't have much to say. Although he clearly had "get dick in vagina" as the end goal. We didn't fuck until hookup #3. But immediately after that, he went cold and stopped the daily chatting. I can call him out on that. And say that at least I'm free of listening to him complain …

I can relate to this! He is definitely messaging other women. He has indicated that he is. (He knows that I have hookups, myself.) I have hidden him on Messenger so that I can't see his green light and his icon moving up to the top of the messenger list as he's clearly chatting with others, even though he told me that he's really tired and not feeling talkative. He's probably just giving them the same dose of rubbish he gave me, but it's still shit.

I'd love to be able to do this. Just grey rock him. That would be ideal! It may require more willpower than I have. I think I can avoid messaging him first. But I don't know what I'll do if/when he messages me. I have a big birthday on Friday. I would be a bit surprised if I didn't at least hear from him then. Ideally, he'd say "Happy birthday" and I'd reply with a "thanks" a few hours later. Nothing more. But that will still open things up. Might even prompt him to see if I'm angry with him. Ho…

His previous affair was with a woman he called "the bunny boiler." He said she became obsessed and asked him to block her because she had no will power. I want to avoid doing that. I can't delete knowing his name on social media. I don't worry about him contacting me so much as I do about my contacting him.

That's what I've done in the past. Although neither time was I actually commited to ending it. I just wanted a break and told him so. It made him miss me/happy to see me when I came back. I have to mean it.

You've done this? Staying busy can be a bit tricky. I spend some time sat at work between meetings with little to do. I'll have to invent some things to keep my mind occupied. As for the blocking - I need to be sure that I'm ready to stick to it as I've unblocked, before. I would also rather not appear upset. Would be great if I didn't care about appearing upset! But that would be the battle nearly won if I didn't

He's probably not a bad person. Depression is an illness, not a character defect. That said, he's just not a good man to be in a relationship with at this time. You can talk to him about it and tell him that he has to get help. Then back away from him and let him either sort himself or not. It's likely that this won't make him feel better, but it's not your job to nurse him.

I should, perhaps, but I don't really. I'm certain that if it weren't me, it would be someone else. That said, when a previous affair became an issue (someone told his wife) I did start to feel bad for her. According to him, she's a miserable shrew. Perhaps she is.
