My divorce is just at the beginning stages. I went on a long hike by myself and came away with 3 conclusions: 1) I can never expect her to know the pain she has caused me; 2) trying to cause her pain just backfires on me and makes me feel worse; 3) I will come out a better man and father from this.

I should add that he works a floor below me and the odds of us seeing each other are high. I believe this is a reflection of his poor character and therefore he should be punished professionally.
