You can't spell out the word "house"?

I deserve that. I couldn't see the letter clearly from the staggering elevation of my superiority ;)

The real fun is when they come to you all serious telling you that they're pregnant and you say, "well, I hope you and the kid's Father have a wonderful life". When you explain the vascectomy she'll get mad that you lied to her and then you get to bring up that she obviously cheated or is lying to you....

I have lots of guns, and my main "it's with me for protection" is a sig P229 chanbered for .22lr. I have the other 4 uppers and mags for .45, 9, 38, and 40 for a quick swap out, but I keep it as a .22. The reason: you can easily protect yourself with a .22, and frankly, if I have to shoot someone I'd rather not kill them. Just stop them from what the are doing. If you don't think shooting someone with a .22 hurts a fucking lot, then you've never been shot. It's also loud as fuck if only a statem…

How utterly insecure do you have to be to get pissed about your spouse watching porn, especially when they are not having sexual relations. As a man I wouldn't put up with being told that I couldn't look at porn because I would have no problem with my spouse looking at porn and rubbing one out.

Yeah...to say that there was a cabal to design this system is silly. Was it all knee jerk legislation that was ill thought out and its repurcussions can easily be seen 50 years later? Sure, bit to say that there were shadowy forces behind it all is stupid. A problem was realized and a bad, simple solution was devised...and that everyone in power patted themselves on the back and went home...and THEN women started raking advantage of it.

Probably because, and this is coming from a heavy drinker, that if it was WRITTEN IN THE ORDER that being late would be considered a miss and at the descretion of my ex, then I would be sure to dropwhat I was doing to heed the alarm to take my test, and then wouldn't "simply forget". I mean, this guy is whining about not being able to see his kids but can't be bothered to take aquick breathelyzer on time and not just "forget"? Fucking hell.

You're willing to abandon your son for a better dating scene. Remember that no matter where you go, there you are. You can be interesting and find interest anywhere you are, the problem is you not being interested enough in yourself to go do interesting things in the area that you are in.

that last sentence...that was kind of you to say that. I think MOST of us can handle a woman's take on a subject like this. women know what trouble women are like just like guys know what bad dudes are like. What we don't like here, in our space to commiserate as divorced \ divorcing MEN, is when a women chimes in saying that our point of view is misogynistic.

That's not her " doing better", that's her not knowing herself, not having any hobbies or interests, and just doing what is easy. It's fun at first but not a "lifestyle" that is at all enriching.

First, look up what the prefix "pre" means, then figure out what "nup" is short for...fuck it, I'll tell you. It is short for "nuptial" which is an old timey fancy word for "marriage". Then sit back, put it all together, and realize that your fucked.

It's your house as well as you are completely within your legal right to put any kind of hidden cameras that you want; to protect yourself and your kids, that she is unable to turn off or even know about. Think about doing that.

First thing to do is take a biology course and learn how babies are made so that you can stop making them. Next thing is get a place of your own.

Exactly. I want to be taken care of financially by a kind, hot, young woman that dreams all day at work about having sex with me...do I deserve that or have it coming? Nope.

Why not you live in the house and let the "kids come use the pool"? Why does she, with minimal assets and minimal ability to keep up the house get to stay there so that "the kids can come by and use the pool"?

She told you that she is selfish, vindictive, and manipulative. She told you that she had no problem destroying her child's well being to hurt you. And then you had another fucking kid with her. You need to start thinking about why you would do that if you want to have any semblance of happiness in the future.

I'm on your side. My (now 33 year old Daughter) got scared when the X-Files theme came on, so The purge would have been a no go, but she sent her first .22 round down the barrel at 8 years old and loved it. Interestingly enough, my ex did not care that scary things like the ex-files theme scared my girl and would just send her to her room (where she could still hear the theme music). My ex has never fired a gun but cared more about her own entertainment than our Daughters feelings.
/r/Divorce_Men29/06/24 11:57 PM

Pissing the ex off does not seem to be the intent, though. He stated quite well I thought that these are things that he and his Daughter enjoyed doing together...he was just saying that he no longer needed to give a shit if it pissed off the Mom. That is a completely different thing than him being petty and TRYING to piss off Mom.
/r/Divorce_Men29/06/24 11:51 PM

I think that OP is just saying that he is doing things with his Daughter that he would like to do, she is enjoying, and that his ex-wife bitching and moaning as she historically did is not encroaching on the good time because "who the fuck cares what she thinks. This is mine and my Daughter's time together!". He's not doing these activities to piss off the ex, but is doing them DESPITE that she will inevitably get pissed off. Do you see what I mean?

If your new hobby was wrenching on cars and bikes from the 50's though the '70's, would you suggest OP buy the cheapest sockets and wrenches that he can because he's new to it? If his new hobby was quantitative physics, would you suggest an abacus bad out of rice paper? A $200 welder will give you ZERO satisfaction in welding. I know LOTS of folks like you; "I know how to mig, tig, blah blah blah...stick it up my ass".... Your argument tells me you're a fucking hack at best. You are actually arg…
/r/Divorce_Men26/05/24 01:18 AM

You don't "teach yourself to weld". And if you did, you don't do it on a welder that is...and I still can't believe how much it costs...$200. What do you do? Do you have a a skill? If you do, can that skill be passed along for $200? My point is, I dig WHAT OP is doing, just that if he quarter ass's it it will bring no enjoyment.
/r/Divorce_Men26/05/24 12:07 AM
2

That's my point; you won't learn how to weld properly on a piece of crap welder. You certainly won't be able to weld the trans mount properly (no penetration) and your welds will be a boogerish mess. formal weld inspector. Find a welder friend and pay him to do the weld and teach you.
/r/Divorce_Men24/05/24 12:17 PM

Why even bother getting a "welder" if it's a $200 "welder"? Other than that, you're doing good!

He will adjust. When I was dealing with this same thing many years ago, what worked was my two year old Daughter sleeping with me until her having her own room (clothes, toys, etc) at Dad's house became exciting. Your ex seems to communicate well...do the same and don't take offense.
/r/Divorce_Men17/05/24 02:39 PM

Get an old Honda CB 500. Get to work on it. Meet your local peeps into wrenching on old bikes and the many many many sites that will teach you everything and show you where the local "bike shit is". Take your state's riding course and get your license. A whole new engrossing hobby and you'll soon have too many bikes and will find the niche that you dig. I have been committed to antique BMWs for 20 years now.

The whole "It's not the type of place where you can make friends unless you grew up here" is fucking ridiculous. That's pretty cool! Do you think that it's so much better now a days because you're not trying to hold a marriage together...you're both just kind of dating and being parents, and you don't really care if you guys stop "dating"?

Don't be ridiculous. "It" being "karma" in your case is completely anecdotal. I appreciate you telling people that things will be alright, but to keep doubling down on this ridiculous claim is just silly. Let me ask you; if karma is real, what did YOU do to get cheated on and left by your Wife?

Elaborate. "I am stuck in traffic behind an accident and it looks like I'll be 45 minutes late" equals a new court date / loss of parental rights / giving up Christmas vacation / amputation? What do you propose since just being a reasonable person may not be enough?

Dude...find yourself. Live yourself. Why are you so anxious about this? If you "need" another person to feel complete, than you yourself are not complete. Make yourself complete.

Shit happens daily in life. We are late for things. You will be late for things. She will be late for things. Jesus invented cell phones because he figured humanity needed them for this exact thing. Roll with it and don't be a dick. She might be a dick but roll with it. What kind of consequences are you hoping for?

Ask your Dad. He may have a completely different take on his life than you do...and you said that he got married at 50? Sounds like he's a smart man to me. Had a life, did his thing, then when he slowed down decided to get married to hopefully a mature (minded) woman.

Sorry for not being more specific: What I meant is that in NO state is it illegal for the State to put a tracker on your car, but they will always need a warrant. In states where it is "illegal", that is just illegal for the regular citizenry to do.

You WERE cheated and used, AND she doesn't see it that way and THAT is where your ire is really originating from. When you loose at a rigged shell game on the street, you laugh it off because the operator suckered you and knew it. And you knew it. It was a game that you both entered knowing the other person's role. This was different and the bitch is acting like she is innocent (and believes it) and that is infuriating! But don't let this one broad ruin humanity for you! Have girls, relationship…
/r/Divorce_Men02/11/23 04:25 PM

Yup! Most of us here have gone through this; often times almost identically. At first you're angry, you feel cheated, and want JUSTICE! You'll never get it, and after some time and just living your life and rebuilding, you kind of realize, "fuck. I lost out. I was taken. Whelp, lesson learned". It's an expensive lesson that HOPEFULLY protects you for the rest of your life, like when you were a toddler and did whatever stupid thing...but never did it again.

Of course. All people in upper echelon special operations (I'm not talking about your average e-6 in 10th Group) regularly meet with highly qualified therapists. It's part of the "fit for duty" profile. Again, the (fictional) Bond obviously has to do this regularly.

And you don't think Bond did tons of therapy? It's mentioned in every fucking movie. Also, I can see my Father going to therapy and enjoying it. He was the toughest man alive; a neighbor shot him in the gut for fucking his wife and my Dad crawled and grabbed a shot gun and blew out their windows. I saw him rip the two front teeth of a dude fucking with him at the bar. He also insisted on hugging and kissing people and telling people his feelings, and crying. When my (now 31) year old Daughter was just a wee one, I had a good career going and my ex took me to court to be able to move across the Country with her. If she had won, I would have quit my job and followed not even a day behind. She didn't win and a year later just handed my Daughter to me and moved four states away. I (and my Daughter) made out, but I WAS willing to just drop everything and go. I don't respect any parent that wouldn't do the same.

Fuck him. He can be sorry in prison. Think about how many lives he's ruined arresting people for having some Xanax, being drunk, getting into a fight. Giving a traffic ticket to a very poor person who then swirled into a world of nothing but debt as this dude walked back to his patrol car forgetting abou…

I'm a piece of shit? This douche bag that not only has the authority to arrest and cage people for any and all of the things he mentions has ACTUALLY done the very things that he helps imprison people for. But I'm a piece ofshit. I hope he rots in prison but we all know he won't simply BECAUSE he's a cop.

A cop mis - using drugs and alcohol and beating someone. I'm SHOCKED! Don't worry, you won't see any jail time. Your buddies will cover for you. And if you do get fired you can just go be a cop in the next town over. If you do spend anytime in lockup, use the time to contemplate how many lives and families you've ruined in arresting people for non violent things and how many lies you've told in the line of duty. Maybe you will come out of this a better person.

I agree with you 100%, but I'm starting to have a problem with BPD and NPD being considered a "disorder". If such a huge chunk of the population "has" it, then it should just be considered a part of the human genome; a particular trait. More importantly, as far as genes are concerned (and all we are is walking meat bags evolved to help genes replicate), both of those traits are considerable advantages in getting the species to propagate.

Nah, like I said, I'm on my next move (building), but there has been too much rain. I wasn't complaint about being in a tent or collecting rain water. I'm 53 years old and have been in much worse circumstances. This is nice enough.

I bought 40 acres in Alabama about nine months ago. I'm still living in a tent and collecting rain water as the rains here have made us way behind schedule in building, but I'll be better set come fall. I bought with cash, full amount because I will never be in debt again (I once did the 9 to 5 with mortgage and shit), so I had to decide do I want a structure already, or more land. I went with more land figuring I could do whatever I wanted, how I wanted. Haven't regretted it for a minute.

Yeah, unfortunately some little butt hurt whiner (OP perhaps) reported me to Reddit for hate speech and marginalizing vulnerable people, and there seems Tobe no recourse. Obviously admins didn't actually read the post or my response, so I'm powerless...or marginalized I guess.

Why should the government be allowed to put any "requirements" to changing your gender. What the fuck could the Spanish government have to say what someone wants to do with thier own body and identity? You and I are the same age. Right now you probably want to date because you're still stinging from the end of the relationship, your ego took a hit, and you seek validation that you are wanted; can be loved. You must have developed interests and hobbies over the last 4 decades...do that stuff. When your heart is healed you'll be ready to date, and your looks and weight won't matter so much in dating.

I always had open and frank conversations with her, regarding all things. I raised her on my own since she was 4 years old or so, and I let her be a girl. I also called her on her bullshit when she was dating. She, at 29, calls me on my bullshit a plenty and we have an amazing relationship. Honestly, my favorite is Pierce Brosnan. It may be the writing for the part during that era, but Brosnan did a GREAT job of showing the human part of 007; the alcoholism, the wondering of "what have I done with my life / what have I become", but then when the shit needed to get done, he was 007. I just love that the super spy was made human.

We have recent graduates of Ranger School and the Q-Course (Special Forces selection), and I believe that the SEALS have some women in the pipeline currently. Best thing I ever did! It is awesome cumming in women, and the ejaculate is just like before the vasectomy.

This. This is what GOING YOUR OWN WAY is all about,. Things that make YOU happy and satisfied. Don't you get tired of the "women are awful" posts? I sure do. I just bought 30 acres down South and just, two hours ago, got back from dropping off my first load of stuff into storage down there. In two weeks I make the final run. I am going to make virgin land mine as I hunt it, camp it, improve it. That's MY going my own way. One of our other dudes may go his own way in the middle of a city. It has …

Right on!
/r/MGTOW210/01/21 02:19 AM

And you went your own way how? Stop bitching about broads for christ's sake. What have you done for yourself lately?
/r/MGTOW210/01/21 02:17 AM

Yup. It's a given that any girl you have met has had an abusive ex. Hell, from what I understand, I'M an abusive ex to some crazy cunts, and I've never laid a hand on a women in my life ever.

/r/MGTOW203/01/21 11:52 AM

Right on, I gotcha. As an old dude that IS going to have to worry about that at some point much sooner than you, may I just suggest that you don't worry about it. By the time you (and probably) me need to be taken care of, the World is going to be much different than it is now and impossible to plan for. Also, exceedingly planning for the far off future very often completely limits yourself living the fullest today.
/r/MGTOW203/01/21 11:43 AM
2

If your biggest concern is "being taken care of" then I think that you kind of miss the mark in understanding of going your own way. What was it like when the World had 3/4 of the population it does now? 1/2? 1/4? Did people get taken care of then? I don't understand your worry about population correlating with the taking care of old men.

It sounds like this message is starting to permeate through this sub, and I'm happy about that as I was just about ready to never visit it again. No that my presence would be missed, but when people start leaving the conversation it only leads to a screechy echo chamber.

Dude, I don't even have a well or electricity, let alone a "room". If I need a home gym, then I'm not working hard enough on my land / in my life. But it is solid advice for the future. Thanks!

Just got the deed to 30 acres down in the very rural South. I'm taking my first load of stuff down there tomorrow to put in storage, and within three weeks I'll have all my belongings down there and I'll be camping on my land, figuring out where I'm going to have the well drilled and which way the garden will face.

I only read until: "I get it: we were all raised to have a reflexive reaction to any harm coming to a woman: whether physical or existential." That is NOT why those of you who whine about women get chastised. It's because WOMEN and the existence of women ultimately have very little to do with GOING YOUR OWN WAY.

Interesting. As I think of the "lone hero" in films especially, you are correct. Also it's often the truth when a woman is the hero. I wonder why we like that, as the audience, so much?

For me it's the prep tools. Chopping a bunch of garlic or herbs. The tools that make that simple. The actual cooking is easy, it's all of the prep work that is the (awesome I love doing it) bitch. Oh, and I bring my deer to a guy. I shot it, field dressed it, and dragged it out of the woods. Of course I could (badly) get it all butchered, but you know what, I'll pay that guy to do it.
