So then the causation of the discrepancy is more due to lifetime statistics being inaccurate due to a lack of reporting prior to 2010? So in layman's terms it would be unreasonable to refer solely to the lifetime stats because historically men were not counted in the lifetime stats up until a certain point? or is it simply because more recent stats are somehow more representative? also please don't misunderstand. I've had a lot of people comment that I'm blunt or that I don't understand social nuance or this or that. I've learned that If I bring up my autism people tend to put more effort into explaining things in a way that doesn't rely solely on social nuance and understanding. I've never really seen the idea of "privilege" used in a nuanced way. of course most of my exposure to the concept was social and not academic. 55	I am a woman. I am autistic. I don't see how this sub is supposedly misogynistic or hateful. I've become very aware of the misandry that is so rampant in feminist spaces. But I genuinely don't understand how they equate criticizing that to attacking women.
