Has divorce been discussed? Have the 2 of you sought counseling? At this time in her life, it could be hormones or just a midlife thing. Or a million other things that you may or may not be willing to work through with her. Ohhh. I guess I was assuming the 401K money transferred via quadro would remain a retirement account, but I guess she could use it for whatever she wanted, but it would just count as regular income for her. Hmm....

That’s cheap money! I think I saw its typically prime rate plus a point, with withdrawal limits typically at $50k. Is that a hardship rate? Capped at a certain number? Who’s the 401k administrated by? Mine is with Fidelity

Just curious but did you apologize at drop-off? My wife and I are separated and cordial most of the time. I do get angry when I feel taken advantage of in coparenting; when I feel like my time isn’t respected. Happened just this weekend… But later I remembered that my children are not a burden, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Maybe she has the same notion. I hope that apologies were issued and accepted by you both here. Good on y’all for working thru this one!
