Dead Bedroom & Divorce LoomingHas divorce been discussed? Have the 2 of you sought counseling? At this time in her life, it could be hormones or just a midlife thing. Or a million other things that you may or may not be willing to work through with her. And I’m sure we can both agree that you’re not the perfect partner. 3 years dead bedroom doesn’t mean she’s unfaithful, but it does mean there’s a lot of room for another man if she were ever tempted. Listen man divorce really sucks. You’ll get through it eventually and may u… | /r/Divorce_Men | 17/01/25 02:47 AM

Marital SettlementOhhh. I guess I was assuming the 401K money transferred via quadro would remain a retirement account, but I guess she could use it for whatever she wanted, but it would just count as regular income for her. Hmm.... | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/03/24 05:30 PM
Marital SettlementThat’s cheap money! I think I saw its typically prime rate plus a point, with withdrawal limits typically at $50k. Is that a hardship rate? Capped at a certain number? Who’s the 401k administrated by? Mine is with Fidelity | /r/Divorce_Men | 07/03/24 12:40 PM
What worked for you, what questions did you ask, what do you wish you had done instead?I know my comment isn’t particularly helpful but I wanted to make sure I commented in hopes it will help me remember to come back here in case someone decides to weigh in with some useful info. | /r/Divorce_Men | 01/03/24 06:50 PM
There is hope that it doesn’t have to be nasty foreverJust curious but did you apologize at drop-off? My wife and I are separated and cordial most of the time. I do get angry when I feel taken advantage of in coparenting; when I feel like my time isn’t respected. Happened just this weekend… But later I remembered that my children are not a burden, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Maybe she has the same notion. I hope that apologies were issued and accepted by you both here. Good on y’all for working thru this one! | /r/Divorce_Men | 12/02/24 06:46 PM
