Just as an addendum to what you have said above: be weary of a person who uses "I know" without backing up what they say. It's a great way to assert a point with confidence but without doing a damn thing to back it up. The fact that talk is cheap makes listening to what is said all the more crucial when trying to decipher the truth from an untruth.

Shitty. You're right. I read the title and I didn't read the rest. That being said, I would say you want to be careful trying to find good qualities and, as one other guy suggested in this thread, be mindful of bad ones. That being said, you have to ask yourself, "what do I want in a girl?" If she exhibits a bad quality, it's easy enough to answer "not that."

So ... you do know the term unicorn is used because it's imaginary, right? Best answer: there are no unicorns.

Good show man. I love being a guy for this reason; ageing like wine while women age like milk and show it.

Agreed. I'm in my 30's and have lost most of his youthfulness. Yet 6 - 9 out of 10's hit on me way more that they ever did in my 20's. Hell, I'm in a FWBs thing with an 21 y/o 8 right now. She, according to her, wouldn't have even given me a second look at any point during my early to mid 20's. Funny how this works.

I'm also Canadian and that in itself enrages me too. You'd think a country with a high quality of living (eg. Canada) would inspire those within that country to be rational or, at the very least, considerate of those with whom they live as well. Nope.

That's how I feel about this subreddit a lot of the time. It's too bad we're a minority. On the plus side, it's good the TRP sub is not subject to any one national law. Had it been situated anywhere in the Great White North, it would have been shut down as a "hate site." Seriously. Free speech is practically dead down here.

I can testify to this. The bitch that led me to TRP was a polyamorous chick who called herself Cleo. She was the final straw that led me here. Never looked back. She was the "one" for me. :)

Fair enough. But hurt feelings and 'deeply held beliefs' are not something I give a flying fuck about. Another persons butthurt is not going to squelch my opinions. Fucking deal with it. You should have realised this argument would have been a net loss for you, and therefore wasn't worth it. Not really. My goal was to express my opinion regardless of incoming reactions. Her emotions, hurt feelings or the state of our "friendship" was irrelevant. Honestly, a friendship should not be staked ones personal beliefs and, if they are, it's not a friendship worth having. And the loss of this particular friend was for the best. I was tired of implicitly agreeing to her view by saying not…

Ok. Now I get it. A shit test is being put on spot and reacting in a way that is cool, stoic and removed from emotion while still exhibiting your personality. This WASN'T a shit test because, first off, I wasn't put on the spot but rather she felt she was on the spot. Furthermore, while my responses were mostly rational, it was still a charged with, admitted, arrogance and "I'm right" syndrome which had me come off as jack ass (which I don't necessary think is wrong, per se). Then I use porn to help me concentrate my energies on the ones I do want to fuck. Which brings me to how you're right about the energy that wells up inside you when you abstain from fapping. Most porn stars/actresses disappear once the get the age of around 30 or so. After that, they become producers and studio owners. It's sad that the wall doesn't stop the echo-chamber of self-glorifying slut-peddling.

I agree. The way, and frequency of which, I jack off is far different when I was any number of years younger than I am now. Before, it was almost women worship: I would find the most beautiful women in a porno and would psychologically almost treat the masturbatory experience like some sort of ritual to see her express her supposed nubile body to express itself sexually. I did it way too often and sometimes multiple times per day. In retrospect, that was really messed up and I felt no shame for …

Well, I almost got married during my early 20's before that fell through. Then I decided to go to college to appease my inner wishes to "make something of myself". All the while I made friends, worked out, banged several women of varying sexual value and then graduated. Thing is, during this time, I was still clinging to BP values (eg. Love, singledom being a shame in the eyes of my peers, feminism and what have you). Discovering this makes me glad I'm a 30-something, single and still somewhat a…

You speak a lot of sense man. And, you're right, being a man of high quality will turn heads more than any sort of on-the-spot confident PUArtisty ever will. Sure, there are talented guys out who can get a woman to drop their panties with a few words and some charm (even if they look like shit) but that shouldn't be what TRP is about anyway. Funny thing is, I've seen similar posts like OP's in this sub and, for whatever reason, the hamsters are targeting the one guy who uses the word "confidence". Worse is the way confidence is misconstrued to equal "the way to get the most pussy" instead of ones inherent qualities that comes from earning it. TRP shouldn't be about some goal other than making yourself better with no real goal in mind. How is that hard to accept?
/r/TheRedPill16/04/14 12:38 AM

Agreed. But, as the OP pointed out, this sub has become so saturated with guys that equate confidence to some sort of magical incantation that drops panties. TRP, to me, was about self-improvement and empowerment to gain that confidence and NOT PUArtistry. This sub has gone to hell. Really.

Just another reason not to take a woman's looks seriously. Must be great. Just paint your face and you go from a 4 to a 6 in a few minutes. It might have cost the MAYBE 50 - 60$ for the cosmetics. Meanwhile, a man's analogue for doing the same is wearing a suit costing hundreds of thousands. Yeesh.

I'm not saying I'm not angry for what he said but, let's be clear, it's the facts that are making me angry. I'm not going to bellow out the word "fascist" just because somebody gets real and tells me how it is. I will reiterate what he…

I appreciate you playing the devil's advocate here but your pessimism is misleading. Self-improvement should be goal-independent. I don't think the OP wanted members of the sub to "make it". He just wants to support action that encourages someone to be a better person regardless of SMV. Besides, if you do nothing, nothing happens. What's the point of setting the bar too high anyway?

It's posts like this that make TRP harder for me to swallow back when I joined ... and I'm damn thankful for it. Sadly, I came to this sub initially to find ways to get myself laid as I have had a bit of dry spell going for some time now. I was angered at many of the things I found out when I came here until I took a step back to examine why I was becoming angry with some objectivity: I was mad at reality. The reality, of course, was the low SMV I felt I had. At that point, I was still regurgita…

It relates to feminism and the attempt to remove more accountability from the minds of women who think ignoring facts leads them to a good, healthy and empowering place. Thing is, RP men know better. We know what facts are in place and biology seems to be an unwelcome fact in the feminist worldview.

I agree this rant does miss some hard info and you're right in saying that focusing on only their weight can leave amiss other areas where a potential mate is strong. However, this post more aimed at those who have a BMI index far greater than 30.0 and think it's perfectly fine. A girl who is one or two points above is understandable and can get herself in shape if she's motivated and reasonable enough to do so. A 300lb cow, however, who eats to her hearts content and then bellows "I'm sexy" is …

That's the natural consequence of just being good to yourself and knowing, not thinking but knowing, you're awesome. This happened to me ever since I took TRP; I went from that passive "nice" guy whom was everybody's friend (especially women) to just being an "asshole". That's right, they (especially women) got comfortable with me always staying the same consistent "feminized" male whom supplied that ever banal shoulder to cry on when they needed it. Then I popped TRP. Then, I said "no" to them …

I think I'm guilty of dichotomizing alpha/beta traits without getting the central message: self improvement. This is a good post for getting people in the subs focused. I've only been a part of the sub for about a month or so. Good advice and I'm really hoping to learn more.

Probably a fair number of Incels as well who think they "chose" not to get laid.

Is this a joke? Somebody actually created this subreddit? And how many of TRP members have joined? I'm guessing most of there numbers are rp members who joined just for a few laughs here and there

Dude, OKC is shitty. The two dates I got from the site was a fat single mom and an ex-crack addict. Lying cunts had outdated pics on their profiles. Holy shit was that horrible.

Seem somewhat entitled due to having "experience" Baby rabies. Enough said. Some of these girls have some serious baggage from previous relationships, especially the ones from the 28+ age range Younger girls are a fuck of a lot of fun in and out of the sack Girls outside of this ideal age range who have been single for a long time tend to be fucking crazy Loose women parts that my large member can't satisfy Older women tend to have weight on them or loose or ageing skin; I don't dig that in the …

I'm sorry but I feel I have to cut into this little back-and-forth. What's the standard you using to compare against to call anyone here an asshole?

31 and 18 - 25. I've tried dating Women older than that. Never again for reasons from a long list. Still new to TRP. But, once you do, you can't go back. 2 months here and still reading.

I've seen desperate betas succumb to need for pussy ... no matter where it came from. I used to do that. I would have kept dating girls like that, too, if I hadn't spend so much time thinking of fucking the hoties while plunging their gooey, rolly physiques. Now, a girl has to be at least a 7/10 before I even look at her twice.

Scream the loudest and those who agree will scream with you. No thought required; I call it the nuclear effect.

Yes and no. I'm going to agree that having any platonic relationships with women is fucking lame. But, as one of the posters noted below, you can 'use' you friends. Couple of years ago I got a pretty boss job through one of my former lady friends. She was fuck ugly but at least she was good for something. :)

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
