I am so glad my parents didn't do it. No one has disdain for their parents for NOT getting them circumcised. If a person decides to get it done....fine, but give them the choice. Don't try to claim it's cleaner and healthier to make yourself feel better for abusing your child. This is not some epidemic that needs a drastic course of action like circumcision to battle....at best it's beneficial for a tiny fraction of people, wholly not worth it.

For a few reasons....First, there are financial benefits to marriage. Two, she is Korean, so there is familial pressure on her side from family. and Three, even tho I follow MRA, I am still a romantic at heart and the idea and ceremony of "marriage" still holds quite a bit of appeal.

I teach in Korea like your friend. It's less common for Western women to date Korean men...but it happens a lot more than you would think. I know a bunch of couples like that.
