| 1 | The Nice Guy: A form of disrespect?Just say why you are paying. Just say you don't mind because they need the money more and you enjoy their company. I currently am a poor student, so I split costs on dates, but if I find a gift card lying around, I usually share it. It's more about the way it's framed: Is the only reason she's with you because you paid and are using that as a bargaining chip for attention, or did she want to come anyway and are you being generous?
