I mean if they both like eachother then by all means, they should fall in love and live happily ever after. But if someone can't date the people they want to date because they don't have the experience, then they either have to settle long-term for someone they don't want, or just try to get some casual flings or fwbs out of them to figure out their way around women. I'd say it's far more cruel and immoral do commit yourself to someone you think is below your standards. And you all don't underst…

The main thing that drives this whole conflict of interest is: even though there's a roughly equal amount of attractive/unattractive people by gender, unattractive women can still get occasional whiskey-dick from a guy who's more attractive than them, so they don't have to play in their league. That's why a lot of unattractive men don't get a chance in the first place. All these guys can do (besides hookers as the other person mentioned) is try their best to max out with fashion/haircuts, fitnes…

all the super-woke women in here who love casual Lol those women absolutely despise men like OP and bully the shit out of them all day on here. If you're actually open to dating a grown man with no sexual experience, and you're not just virtue-signaling on the internet, you absolutely are a one in a million exception. I wouldn't recommend considering a serious relationship before at least getting frisky with that person because you have no idea what kind of insecurites, hangups, kinks, preferenc…

<image> Any woman who wants casual can generally get it on demand from someone more attractive and experienced. People like OP might have to fumble a bit before they can get it right, which no woman would want to deal with. It's unfortunate for all parties involved, but the alternatives are to either never try and stay celibate forever, or committ to a serious relationship with the first person who says "yes" when you don't even know what you want in a partner or how it'll affect you, which imo …

This is why I don't agree with the whole: "just focus on yourself and until a woman deems you worthy" take. The only realistic solution is to lower your standards, have some excuses if they ask about history, and keep chasing casual pussy until you get an "experience", which might suck for less-attractive women that want a serious relationship, but you yourself can't make an informed decision on who you would be a good partner for with nothing to go off of. I admit I had to bullshit to get my fi…

Men say they want the kind of women who want casual sex, but they aren’t what women who want casual sex want. I think thats the whole point of redpill. How to be the guy that women want to hook up with. And it turns out: it's not by being sensitive, vulnerable, emotionally available, and treating her like a queen as many people insisted in the 2010s.

I normally see women saying their sex drive is based on how the man makes her feel. So if she feels that she's settling for security and material ends, her libido will reflect that. Like how if he slacks on chores or ends up being too needy, they lose sexual attraction. Unless thats all bullshit and most women just don't want to admit they want to fuck hot guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/25 01:18 AM

Yeah I admit its a generalization. There's going to be women who put in effort and it pays off. Especially those that have to grind from some disadvantages. But the common pattern is that a 25 year old woman is desired by more men than a 35 year old woman, while a 35 year old man has a better chance of getting with a younger woman than vice versa.

The dance that birds do always involves demonstrating fitness, dominance, and risk-taking: puffing out the chest, showing off their wingspan, along with exposing themselves to danger via bright plumage or loud calls. I live in a city and you can constantly observe male pigeons fighting and posturing over a female. And these are animals that have had no common genetic link to mammals for billions of years. You can see the exact same motions in male dung beetles squaring up and baring their pincer…

Do you think but noble apes act the same way as let’s say hyenas? In terms of mating behaviors literally yes. Males fight and express dominance, the winning males hoard females and the loser males either hang around in hopes of side pussy from the alpha's harem or form gangs that leave the territory and try to overthrow another alpha. This is common to most mammals and directly correlates to human behavior.

In my case I'm too sensitive to harsh rejection and being perceived as a creep because it makes me feel morally "bad", so I have to compensate by trying to be perfect boyfriend material for women I've lowered my standards so much for that I'm just blatantly lying when flirting with them, at which point I catch myself and withdraw, and then I feel guilty for leading them on. Rinse and repeat. And yes, its child trauma amd mommy issues.

This is a really confusing and self-contradicting statement. Humans are biological lifeforms. Either you're coming from the perspective of some fundamentalist religion that believes humans were directly materialized by God and evolution never happened, or you're just trolling in bad faith to bait responses like this.

I'd say from the male POV if you even have to "coerce" then you already lost and she just wants the ego high from being desired. But a lot of women seem to interpret "I'm moving on because you're clearly not even attempting to reciprocate" as "he just wanted to use me for sex".
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/25 10:36 PM
3

Yeah it's being said solely from the male perspective, but it's a genuine perspective. Women in their 20s are objectively at the peak of health, beauty, and fertility and there's no getting around that or wishing it away. If men thought middle-aged single moms were the most attractive then everyone's dating problems would vanish instantly.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/25 09:42 PM

That's really all it is. A lot of women insist that the RP trope doesn't exist and then are straight up like "I already been there and done that in my 20s and now I just want someone to give me house and bebes".

Well now that feminism has gone full circle into Victorian slut-shaming purity culture, your choices are a modest, prude tradwife who despises your soul, or a bustdown who's good-natured and chill. Edit: I see everyone else using "304" so I assume the H-word is not allowed, which I find kind of funny considering all the vile, radioactive shit I've seen typed out on this sub.

So you do at least agree that abortion should be legal if a nonviable egg, zygote, or fetus risks the health of the mother? Natural causes.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/25 04:46 AM
1

And not even stillbirth. Normal people generally need multiple tries to initiate a successful pregnancy. Every "failed" attempt where the sperm still fertilizes the egg but it doesn't develop would fall under the legal precedant of manslaughter if abortion was considered murder.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/25 03:51 AM
1

If you kill someone on accident, you're liable for manslaughter. If a woman's fertilized egg dies, and that fertilized egg has the same constitutional rights as a born, living, conscious human being while being a biological appendage of that woman's body, you have legal grounds to charge every woman who suffered stillbirth with manslaughter. Her body killed that zygote because that zygote is a part of her body, even if it's a natural cause.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/25 03:45 AM
1

By this train of thought, should women who suffer stillbirth be charged and sentences with manslaughter?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/25 02:27 AM
3

Most people in countries that are at an "indoor plumbing" level of advancement do not believe killing a zygote without a developed nervous system is the same as killing a born, conscious, developed human. If anyone who is anti-abortion also eats meat, they are a hypocrite and objectively stupid. Livestock animals are far more aware, intelligent, and sentient than an unthinking, unfeeling, unaware, unborn cellular mass.

This is what I agree with, and also why I think that people who claim "I need 7 dates to know if I'm attracted to someone" are either intentionally lying to virtue signal or are sociopaths who only see humans in terms of their use value.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/25 09:42 PM

That would be filed under "those who faced adversity and trauma and managed to resolve it" or "those who are absolutely fucked in all aspects and see no possibility for good things", which mostly depends on whether or not you can still get a job and afford therapy.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/25 03:53 PM

This is generally what I see. Best people: Those who faced adversity and trauma and managed to resolve it, developing wisdom, inner strength, compassion for others who suffer and appreciation for those who helped them. Neutral people: Decently attractive, stable upbringings, reflect kindness back to them but don't really give a shit about others unless their compassion is socially rewarded. I'll define society as the general social consciousness of people in a broad culture, like "The West". So like when a vaccine for polio was invented, a bunch of people saw a way to fix a big problem, and governments, private interests, and the general population all decided "let's vaccinate everyone from polio" and they actually did that and now we don't have polio. That's "society" doing something. Men are part of society, but a lot of men don't feel connected to it or haven't found a sense of …

Well I meant to cover the whole "violent social liabilities" part right off the bat. But the current reality is that society is just like this, and most women and men who are socially well-adjusted at best, don't care, and often go out of their way to promote more shame, agitation, and alienation on the men who don't measure up in society. The point I'm trying to get across is: is this acceptable for you or do you think society should try to help resolve these issues since these men are generall…

It just means that society and/or biology make it easier for men to do those things, so more of them are able to do them. If you haven't, you don't suck. I mean I agree with you but this contradicts what I normally see from the feminist perspective: that being a unit of a category in which other units did bad things inherently makes all units responsible for those things. I would definitely prefer a community that pools some resources to help the members that have less ability to give back, rather than just supporting people individually in proportion to what they contribute. That would kind of defeat the purpose, as those who are already well off wouldn't need any intervention. And promoting well-being of those who lack it would put them in a better position to help others.

I personally think countries experiencing this should invest public funds into researching the causes and addressing them along with mental healthcare availability and social initiatives to destigmatize these issues. Women who work in mental healthcare, sociology, and public policy should be working toward this as it falls under their job roles. Other than that, normal individual people of any gender should generally be less mean and judgemental, both online and off.

I generally don’t see men taking pro-social action, proposing meaningful/practical solutions, or coming together as a group to support and build deeper connections with each other. Well that's pretty much the main thing. If men are inherently bad by nature, being the common denominator of humans who have done things like the holocaust, then a ton of them playing video games and watching porn would be a net good as these will limit their harm to society and suppress their socioeconomic power to oppress others. I'm being semi-sarcastic on most of this but I'm just trying to check the logic behind a lot of what I read.

Do you think there's anything that can or should be done on a public or cultural level to connect isolated men to communities and positive social relationships, or do we have no choice but to accept this pattern as it's the responsibility of the men themselves to adapt?

Do you hold this same attitude toward people in general, like poor people who fail to adapt to financial well-being under capitalism, or obese people struggling to adapt to a society built for thinner bodies? I relate completely and I think most men and women don't actually differ as much in this, but genders tend to play their respective parts of "I'm ONLY attracted to personality" or "I'm ONLY attracted to looks" to avoid the insecurity and stigma of admitting otherwise and being called a pickme or simp.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/25 12:43 AM

The whole point of bullying in general is to reduce competition for mates. That's why so much of it is based on emasculation/defeminization and sexualized humiliation. It's often successful.

Here you have to realize: If a male human in the current era expresses this exact same emotional reaction to the exact same equivalent judgements, they will be morally shamed and shit on from both progressive feminists and reactionary chauvanists. I think there's a disconnect between the men that many women think or hope are the ones who don't get laid, and the men who actually don't get laid. All the guys I unfortunately know who lose their shit when someone isn't into them are toxic far-right Chads who still have constant hookups and rotating situationships, just not as many as their teens and early 20s. The hacks and decision trees absolutely are needed in order to get your foot in the door. Many women do prefer similar things when it comes to introductions, first moves, flirting, and asking out. Males in biology are more prone to genetic variance in general, which in humans can manifest as all kinds of neurodivergence and mental disorders. The Y chromosome is a mutation of the X and is inherently less stable. This is a feature rather than a bug in nature because males drive genetic change in a population while females maintain genetic stability. I've seen women give good advice and explain perspectives that men might not consider or be exposed to. I definitely value women's input if it's from any degree of good or neutral faith. But the vast majority of women's messaging to men in any form of media is just "you're either one of the good ones who we already chose or you suck and deserve to be alone." When men internalize this, they turn blackpill.

Women shouldn't justify rejecting men as a personal failing on the man's part, and men shouldn't take it personally if they're not someone's type. This is a result of radical, fundamentalist blue-pill ideology that if a man isn't attractive to any particular woman then he's a bad person and he's doing something inherently wrong.

"But I’ve also seen the flipside, where affairs can be vessels for which to explore truth and expose desires." I admit that people say tons of crazy, whack shit on the internet. It does make sense: Life is inherently dangerous and anyone can kill you at any moment. That with the constant refrain of "all women need to be cautious and hesitant around men so you have to prove you're one of the good ones" can lead to confusion as to how much initiative and effort should be expected from guys. I personally think if someone isn't obviously dtf after the first actual date, they're either too…

There's a hard cut-off. As the post said, 25lbs overweight is still attractively thicc. 100lbs overweight is objectively unhealthy and will comprimise the fitness and survival of offspring. It wouldn't make sense for a male to have the "me give u baby and house" drive for someone who couldn't chase after a toddler.

I was making $14 - $16 an hour in a car-dependant suburb doing restaurant, factory, and warehouse jobs. I was paying only like $300 on rent but I wasted a ton of money on out-of-pocket college courses, therapy, and a DUI that set me back $10k. I moved out once I finally landed $25 an hour and saved up a few grand. I regret not getting out earlier in life and in hindsight I could have made it work, but I didn't know anyone to move in with and had no frame of reference for how shitty my life was c…

This is it really. I was only able to afford to move out to the city once I landed a white-collar job in my late 20s. I've only been able to afford to go out and afford food/drinks/shows recently in my early 30s and I'm just starting to build a social life from scratch now that I don't have to worry about being homeless. Even at all the places I go to, Im usually one of the youngest people there, and these are relatively "immature" punk shows and dive bars. Almost everyone I grew up with either …

Same here 100%. It took me a ton of expensive therapy and I was very resistant to the idea, but growing up in a family that's "a nightmare to deal with" is proven to cause self-shaming and learned helplessness. I also think that it's way more common than its even hyped up to be, and that there's some degree of child trauma in probably most people, but especially the agitated lonely people who post here. Basically, going long periods of time as a kid being alienated and bullied, whether in school…

I think it just reflects the values that genders are socially conditioned to. Boys will often divide themselves based on external interests and abilities, like the sports jocks will all party together, music fans and band guys form their cliques, nerds get along with other nerds, ect. For girls, it seems like being pretty and popular is a hobby and identity in of itself. The amount of thought, time, and effort it requires to learn makeup alone is probably huge. Add that to the endlessly complica…

Almost all the parents I know, including my own, get married after their first kid or two if they can tolerate each other that long. Usually you decide to get married because of an unplanned pregnancy in the first place. Then again, I did grow up poor and I'm only recently starting to realize that a lot of the things I thought were normal are totally fucked up by upper-middle class standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/23 03:13 PM

It's not that they give a shit, it's that it's entertaining. Everyone loves a good "omg that guy tried hitting on me, what a creep!" story. Normal, healthy, responsible, middle-aged people do this all the time.

Well yeah, you're normal. When you got fearful-avoidant attachment disorders due to mommy issues, you gotta figure all this shit out manually if you ever want to touch boobs.

That's a very strange response to his question, sounds like you're the one with hangups.

I think they realize they aren't sexually attractive but that most women will fuck anyone for enough money.

I'm infinitely more attractive at 29 than I was at age 20, and it's entirely due to money from landing a somewhat humane and livable job. Lasik surgery, dental work, therapy, being able to afford my own apartment and clothes, and not living with people who make me feel like shit have been completely transformative to my appearance, confidence, and self-esteem. And it's only getting better. Honestly most guys in their early 20s should just jerk off and worry about making money. Once you can fully…

There's another way... Date people, vet them, and keep trying until you find someone who you actually like to spend time with and be around a lot. Marriage shouldn't be some strategic war over who can screw each other over. Most marriages are fucked because people base them on the cold, calculating bullshit that permeates this thread, or they marry the first person who'll have sex with them.

That is not basic, it's a totally insane and delusional take. Sometimes people don't vibe, it feels awkward, and that's totally normal, human, and okay. Everyone sometimes makes people feel uncomfortable, even my best friends and I have had uncomfortable moments. You should try interacting with humans before making judgements on human interaction.

I think this is wrong, and that men and women are roughly equal in kindness and empathy. The difference is that soft-hearted men are less likely to try wooing the maximum amount of women as humanly possible and therefore get way less exposure. There's also a significant portion of women who are insanely horrible and cruel, who will also claim to be "soft-hearted".

Those behaviors you described are absolutely horrific and terrible, nobody should ever be treated like that. I'm also really glad you made a point that often gets missed. Because if we boil it down to statistics these men have a high turnover. Thus more chances to match/meet with women because they aren't committed. So these awful behaviors pollute the dating pool and make women more guarded and resentful. Most men aren't actually psychopaths. But the psychos are always going to be the thirsties…

It's interesting when you reverse the roles here. I feel sorry for men who say this, and things like it Why? They're discriminatory people who are no better than racists? A person doesn't just come to those conclusions out of nowhere, such an aggressive stance can only come from a pile of negative experiences they've had with women. "A klansman doesn't just join the KKK from out of nowhere, such an aggressive stance can only come from a pile of negative experiences they've had with black people"…

It's just young women venting their frustration. They fucked some spoiled frat boy and get mad that he didn't fall in love and change his life like the rom-coms promised, so it's an easy cope to just insist that sex itself doesn't matter and men are shitty and bad for wanting it. It's an inevitable phase most women go through and it's completely understandable, but some just don't seem to grow out of it. It's the equivalent opposite of "MGTOW"s who don't go their own way and are actually obsesse…

I never understood this, even from the perspective of a guy who's only fucked overweight women who I wasn't actually attracted to. Kissing and cuddling and feeling each other and getting someone else off are the whole point of sex. If I only cared about nutting then I'd honestly rather fuck my fleshlight to porn. Going through all the trouble of flirting with and attracting someone, bringing them home or going to their place, getting naked, just to robo-fuck, get dressed again, and dip out is co…

This. It echoes a lot of similar oxymoronic "advice." "Just resolve your issues and hangups and optimize all your thoughts and behavior. It's easy" I'm not being defeatist and I totally agree that the main barriers for guys are in their own heads, but there's absolutely nothing easy about overcoming those barriers and changing your core beliefs. Especially for men who were raised in toxic relationships, or whose early life really was hostile and alienating enough to warrant those core beliefs. W…
