Honestly, I didn't have that problem at all. Maybe it's the area I'm in (Southeast US in an area with several research universities), but I found myself in a lot of a buyer's market. On top of that, the expectations weren't ridiculous at all, relatively speaking. Now before that, when I lived in Southern California, it was pretty effing awful for those sorts of things. Part of why I moved back to the east coast (plus, I tend to prefer dating taller women, and the vast majority of the single wome…

This sub more and more is becoming an extension of the MGTOW subs. Probably because those keep getting shut down (for good reason).

My closest friends and family knew what was going on beforehand, and had for quite a while- not just from hearing stories, but seeing how miserable I had been for a very long time, and not seeing my ex for quite a while beforehand. None of my close friends or family (except for my very religiously conservative parents) were surprised when I left, and most offered varying levels of support during that time, most of which was welcome. As for the ones that weren't? I just reduced contact with them …

This isn't something Reddit can or should answer for you. This is something you need to answer for yourself. This is something a counselor or mental health professional needs to help you answer for yourself. This is something you need to talk about with your significant other, maybe the both of you as you're sitting down with a relationship expert.

Seriously, start looking at therapists. This can help you not only deal with the divorce and this newest revelation, but to help you become the best version of yourself, post-divorce. Also, don't feel the need to rush the sex- take time to yourself to figure out who you are and what you need. Just because she already had something lined up doesn't mean shit, except that it means you're not being cheated on. Finally, Magnum condoms aren't that much bigger than regular sizes; nowadays they've beco…

Not if both parents obviously disrespect and hate each other- that's been proven to create anxiety and behavioral issues in children and can have an effect on them for the rest of their lives (I was in this kind of household as a kid for a few years).

I’d prefer we stay married for my daughters sake and deep down I actually love her but I need her to take care of herself and actually respect me. We’ve got therapy starting next week. I on the other hand am at times verbally abusive (she gained weight and is content with that) and I’ve never really been romantic..basically if we got in big fights I’d call her fat. Honestly, it sounds like both of you have issues with not respecting the other person, and to put it bluntly, it sounds like an in…
