Like I said, I've been checking the ABS reports but I can't find anything similar. If anything, I'm only finding the opposite.

Thanks but it isn't super useful. Murder is only one very small aspect of all the violence.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates13/05/21 10:00 PM

The ABS crime data has a lot of survey results that include how most men don't report to the police. However, they didn't provide any numbers that say women are the least likely to be assaulted. If anything their numbers said they were ("6 in 10 women" sort of numbers).
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates13/05/21 09:30 PM

No. And I went through what I could find from the ABS and there was nothing like this.

This is why despite the fact that women are the least likely demographic in society to be victims of violence (and that includes children), I would love to get a source on this. Especially based on Australian data. How great it would be to ask my parliament where my minister for violence against men is.

This is why your data must be made freely available. Your findings may be biased, but your data cant be, at least not without allowing someone else to call bullshit. What OP indicated is that it's all biased. Which is simply not true. Not even for political hotbed topics. What the OP is really saying is that they acknowledge that the studies and science they rely on is biased. Because they can't possible know that science they're not familiar with is biased (otherwise it ceases to be science). T…

Exactly. "the issue, of course" as though it's a predetermined fact that the issue is that there is no possible way better people than themselves can critically think, and that everyone is as biased and biggotted as they are.

The issue, of course, is that all inquiry is inherently political and inherently biased. What a load of shit.

Like I said, on mobile so can't really check. But this is all besides the point. The NSW definition is in line with other states and territories. Subdivision 2 Sexual assault and assault with intent to have sexual intercourse 61I Sexual assault Any person who has sexual intercourse with another person without the consent of the other person and who knows that the other person does not consent to the sexual intercourse is liable to imprisonment for 14 years. I'm on mobile so can't really check everything. But it's not called rape in NSW, its called sexual intercourse without consent. It is definitely a different crime to sexual assault, so I don't know what you're looking at, a link into the ABS would be good. ABS aren't researcher's. It's just aggregate statistics. You clearly have an agenda. I think the facts aren't backing you up.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates07/05/21 04:34 AM

Australia and America have almost identical culture, especially around relationships. It stands to reason that their statistics would be comparable. Australia does not have a distorted definition of rape. Australia very clearly has a higher proportion of male perpetrators. Male couples having lower rates of abuse than lesbian couples has nothing to do with the arguments being made. I'm not sure where your logic is coming from. The rest of your claim, most men are straight, therefore most abuse i…

Australia doesn't have weird definitions of rape. Rape is rape. We have predominantly male perpetrators. So just saying. It may not work out all that different for the USA.

There is a difference between being anti-woman and being anti-feminist rhetoric. The fact that you're trying to protect feminist ideology by claiming that attacking its methods is anti-woman is just the sort of bullshit that has put Feminism into the garbage bin.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates20/04/21 09:25 PM
15

You might not care, but how do you think the world has become so female focused that it has resulted in boys being left behind and men left to suffer? Marketing. That's all Feminism is. Like any other ideology, their relentless application of words and word choice is how it works. It's very, very relevant how policies are presented. As regards to the atypical anti male policy... Why can't we have policies that aren't anti male and aren't needlessly pro female? You're presenting it as a binary ch…

It's a problem because it continues pushing the female agenda narrative. I made it clear that it's a good tax policy, but continued wording like this erodes male services and considerations.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates20/04/21 04:35 AM

The marketing is relevant. The presentation that this is for women is incorrect and the wrong way to approach implementation of policies to help people.

Tbh I think the right response is to agree and amplify. If I were a student there, I would start yelling loudly, "Yeah! All men must apologise." and clap, loudly, cheer. Then start yelling "we should get them to wear armbands so we can identify them! Put them in camps!"

This is in Victoria, which I'm not a resident of, so I can't rightly complain to their department of education. But Victoria has had an African gang problem in inner city Melbourne. Could you imagine if they made all the black kids stand to apologise for their crimes? Or made all the girls stand to apologise for all the women who kill babies? Ludicrous. I'm with you on it not addressing the underlying problems. But the stress, anxiety, fear, and therefore anger that these men feel is very hard to address; especially in our society. So if drugs work for them, I'm okay with it. They don't like the idea because they are poor future planners. They can't see how their solutions don't fix the core problems.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates17/03/21 05:07 AM

Here in Australia there's a drug trial where the aim is to lower the aggression in men who abuse. So far, some of the men in the program, and their spouses, are saying it's working. It's making a real change. And of course, there's an angry mob of feminists who are trying to remove it. They are annoyed that funding is going to a program to help the perpetrators instead of the victims. As though stopping the problem at the source is some kind of evil. Thankfully our government is persisting with …

I was going to make a post a bit about this but this will do. Feminists seem to have a problem when we respond "not all men" to their repeated claims that men are rapists, men need to stop raping women etc etc. Their response is usually "of course not all men, don't derail the conversation", or, "it's enough men that we don't feel safe". Don't be so sensitive, they're trying to make a point. Well, here we go then. Women are whores. Does anyone who reads/hears that think that I obviously don't me…

I'd disagree. The woman is responsible for her body and her actions. Your argument is basically saying that sex is something that happens to a woman. She agrees to her risks, he agrees to his. Making him financially responsible for the risks she was willing to take is absurd. She got pregnant, her fault, her body, her choice, her responsibility. The guy cant tell her what to do, she can't tell him what to do.

It was what you said about it being normal human interaction. The stuff about it having happened to you or other men is neither here or there. It is normal interaction between people. It reminded me of something i read here recently about the reason guys send dick pics. It had something to do with them being desperate to be viewed in any sort of sexual way rather than just being ignored (even if negatively). Okay. So mens shed is not for men? It's for anyone? Then get out of the sub relating to mens issues.
/r/MensRights06/11/17 02:09 AM

Why is it wrong to protect a mens organisation so that it focuses on mens issues? You give an inch, they take a mile. This is human nature. Men's Shed should remain for and by men. It serves a purpose. Adding women removes it's ability to serve that purpose. I mean, it's right there in the name.
/r/MensRights06/11/17 12:04 AM
3

So hold on. You freely admit that "mens" sheds have women there. And in the same breath are saying they haven't been co-opted? Why do you need women in there: http://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-09-24/women-welders-firing-up-with-new-skills/8977940 Despite there being women's sheds specific for women http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-07-07/womens-shed-constructing-community-connection-and-confidence/7559818 where they can learn a trade. Yes. The best decision is to talk about it before hand. Doesn't change the fact that not everyone will. Passion may not wait for this discussion. All you're advocating is the same pro-life arguments that used to be used against women and men to now only be used against men. I think the argument has now been clearly given to you yet you continue to advocate that one half of the equation receives a different set of life-changing laws than the other.

And his response Dear David, Thank you for your email. However, I still fundamentally believe that if a man fathers a child, they have a responsibility to that child. Dr Mike Freelander MP Federal Member for Macarthur
/r/MensRights12/10/17 03:56 AM
1

We're talking about a lot more than a woman being pregnant. This is a repercussion that affects men and woman in different ways for a very long time. You are advocating that men are not given as many opportunities to decide this for themselves. And it won't affect women. All it will do is allow a woman to make an informed decision about whether or not she wants to have a child, knowing for a fact that the father has opted out of all responsibility.
/r/MensRights12/10/17 12:29 AM
1

Right there. You're giving different rights to men vs women. If you're a man, you cannot change your mind, or rather you can, but you will still be financially responsible. If you are a woman, you can change your mind, and no one will force parenthood and the financial obligations on you.
/r/MensRights12/10/17 12:11 AM
1

How about we instead make it the responsibility of the woman to check that a man will financially support a child if she gets pregnant before she has sex with him? What if she says she's against abortions, but then changes her mind. Under current laws, the man is liable. Nothing else matters. What if you discuss, actually what if you're married and trying to have a kid, and then when she gets pregnant, she changes her mind? Is that okay? Is it okay to change your mind later? Or only for a woman?
/r/MensRights11/10/17 11:07 PM
1

Why? Say they didn't discuss it first. You're saying that a woman and the law can force an unwilling man to support her?
/r/MensRights11/10/17 10:17 PM
1

I'm sure someone has at some point, but within my memory as an adult, I'm 32, I do not recall child support being a political issue. I'm curious, have you ever tried to talk to your representative in whatever representative democracy you live in? I have had phone and mail correspondence with every representative I've ever had and the opposition candidates during election time. How else do you expect to have your interests represented in parliament (or whatever your countries equivalent is)?
/r/MensRights11/10/17 09:38 PM
1

The department of child support doesn't hold political power. You seem very defeated about the whole idea that things can be changed by talking to your representative. I'll create a new post when I hear back from him.
/r/MensRights11/10/17 09:10 PM

That department would remain. You would have men who agree to have children and then leave. Marriages that separate etc. I'm not advocating to the removal of financial support in those cases.

I can appreciate that choices are influenced. So like you buy your daughter a dollhouse, you boy your boy a homemade radio kit. So like I can see the argument that some employment choices etc, are made with a long history of social and cultural influences. I don't know if they're a problem, but I know I want my daughter to have options. And I'd limit her options by raising her the way people generally raise girls. Now. I don't know if I'm right. No. You cant extend my comments about social justice to Africa. In our society, i.e. Western society, there are very very few people who don't already have the same opportunities as everyone else. Further, if you were born rich then that's a result of your parents or grandparents etc succeeding. I don't think doing a chick while cutting off her head is TRP. Mind you, it's been a long time since I listened to some Pantera. I'm loading it up on Grooveshark now.

Yeah, and maybe she won't. She was right here and we had the opportunity to educate. She's shown enough critical thinking to question both he and her past self and that brought her here.

Whether or not this is fake, this probably isn't the right place to tell your story. /r/asktrp is probably better. Having said that, what you described, real or fake, is not The Red Pill. He is not alpha amongst men, he is alpha amongst needy women and betas. If your story is real, you should spend more time here reading. Read about what makes a man a man and how we can easily identify betas. That way you can recognise a good man in your life. Read about what us men like and dislike about women.…

If I was there I'd have jumped in, snatched her phone and purse and handed it to this made-up attacker. Silly woman is willing to die for her validation box and designer handbag.

Dude, reversals are not 100% effective. It's a pretty low number if I remember correctly, I can't be bothered looking it up. But just so you know. Don't plan on this until you've researched. I've also read about men having strange pains in their groins in their latter years after getting a vasectomy in their youth. Consider that vasectomies haven't been around for too long, so it's not a surprise that long term effects are now being thought about (just my opinion).

My point is that your argument starts with a fallacy. The fallacy being that we don't have the exact same controls on society that we had 200 years ago.

Aside from what /u/RejectionEquality said I also want to add that while we may no longer have monarchies, religious control and slavery we still have political families entrenched in politics, religions and charities everywhere demanding our money and working servitude. These things all still exist.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
