I totally support this , I was circumcised at the age of 5ish but it was due to medical reasons so it was a necessity. Yet I used to feel very embarassed about it . I can't even imagine what goes to those who just had to go through it bcz of their parents belief or cultural norms.

As a guy , I think the root cause of this perspective is the presumption that : 'Since men have genitals and they hv high level of testosterone which means probably all the men out there are to abuse or take advantage of women and treat her like an object .' The prosecutor (or complainant) should be responsible that the accused is guilty of a crime. That's the basic legal principle already followed in all other cases . You can't just put complaint in people and expect them to prove their innocent that's not how it works bro...

I was raised in a joint family so this was the principle and we do had a good life when we my grand parents were alive And this is not just for men even women my mom gave equal importance to her parents as she gave my dad and it was cool. I am going to live on my own but I personally can't hv some more important than my parents at least that's wht I think and that is one of the reasons I don't want to marry , I get it that is a difference of opinion tho..
