Avoiding relationships is not the answer.

Avoiding toxic/neglectful/abusive relationship is what needs to be done.

People should seek healthy relationships.

And I'm not talking about just romantic relationships. Friendships, family relationships etc are also included in the "relationships" I referred to.

Avoid reddit, the posts on reddit cant represent the real world and they will show much more dram than really exists on average.

We all make our own decisions when it comes to that. If you remain in the game, you have to set firm standards, and probably also make some conscious sacrifices, but most importantly, have some keen people reading skills.

The important thing here is that. You must A. know your standards, B. Be perceptive enough to be able to discern who's who. If you can't do that, then stay away from relationships. It isn't safe to be oblivious and just test your luck.

Depends where you are looking a lot of dating apps have more misandrist women on them especially bumble as that is a dating app aimed around the woman messaging first. I stopped using dating apps as soon as I met someone which has helped my self esteem and mental health because they were both dropping faster than a lead balloon

Remember that bad news gets around the globe three time while good news is tying up its shoes.

We have to remember to take our own advice, we know there are bad men out there, we also know there are good men out there. It is the exact same for everything in your life, from women, to tennis shoes, watches, cars and so on.

If you are out here only focused on the negative, constantly worrying about the worst you’ll never relax and enjoy the moment. Hell, even at my most heartbroken unhappiest point made me realize that I had to be so happy with my relationship to feel this way.

Feelings are good, getting hurt isn’t bad, being resilient is an asset. On a place like Reddit, you only really consume the information you subscribe too, so maybe mix in some more positive content. Always be careful and don’t take risks that may harm you permanently but putting yourself out there, being vulnerable with someone you can trust is one of the best feelings you can experience.
