And sadly it is for both genders. I've seen whole lives destroyed by a bad relationship. If they could go back in time they'd rather not have gone through it or chose differently

Everyone's mentioning love and intimacy but how long does that last? I don't see it last over 5 years and for Gen Z no more than 2. Anecdotal but an observation.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/25 01:52 AM

It's taboo because that's the cultural expectation and it won't change. Look at the shit show we have now with "dating". It's just prostitution with extra steps most of the time. The guy mainly wants sex, the girl mainly wants resources and experiences. It's transactional but since it's not direct it's respectable by most. What a joke 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/25 03:51 AM

That's all it comes down to. Like it shouldn't even be a thread. Nobody can judge anything they don't know
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/25 03:45 AM

This! Everything is convenient in our society but when it comes to sex it should be thoroughly earned. Get the fck out of here 🤣 Take this $200 and go somewhere after we done

Be a traditional man, but have no authority. Lead her, but only in the way she prefers to be lead. Guys may acknowledge this and think women don't know what they want. No, they know what they want. Some women want men with resources that are subservient. It's hard to get into a serious relationship and when you have it it's even harder to keep it. The jig is up...

I'm Gen Z and let me tell you from the field. Guys are buying it 🤷‍♂️ How and why? The girls ensure to transact something before sex rather it's money, or getting hair and nails done. Very rarely is it only a genuine connection for sex. Relationships are monetized now.

Or maybe a guy just wants to have sex without manipulating a woman to get it. The cook at McDonald's doesn't care about you and likely secretly hates you. It's better to just cook burgers at home.

Considering that the guys are jaded and demoralized they wouldn't want to hear that line of thought. For them to get to the point of giving up they've already attempted what you said with no results. Giving up is not the first option for most. Guys would rather invest their time and effort into other things. I don't blame em.
/r/MensRights10/08/24 06:54 AM

I doubt it would balance the dating market but it would make buying sex a hell of a lot easier. Dudes are slowly transitioning to this anyway.(In real time)The reason? Well it's a guaranteed result. Guys aren't for putting on the clown suit and play dating anymore 🤣

Not worth it in my opinion. The return of investment is a net negative. People usually get in relationships, have a honeymoon phase, things get boring and repetitive, then the couple has resentment for each other, because they're too familiar with things they dislike about each other. Want more drama? Add in kids. My take may not be the best, but I just think that it is too risky these days. Marriage in modern day is a wrap no matter what. A foreign wife that is truly suitable for marriage will come with more problems than its worth off rip. The money for traveling, the time investment needed, the switching of cultures, raising the kids away from one entire side of the family sounds like an awful headache. Oh and that's the "best case scenario"

I agree, but the concept has completely broken apart in reality.(sadly) A lot of dudes now are confused, sexually frustrated, and lonely. Listening to counter productive podcasts like fresh and fit. The future is really starting to look like sex, and relationships will become even more commercialized. Onlyfans is already here. I guess next is the legalization of prostitution. 3-4, highly unmotivated but taking it a day at a time. I can't believe I'm mildly a doomer, but these last 9 months took me for a ride. I Play video games all day, and work, also allocating a lot of my money into stocks and crypto. My unhappiness is lack of hobbies (mostly because I can't afford them yet), family is losing sanity, lack of good friends (I have 2 but it'd be nice to have 6), and lack of money. The part about good men and bad men is why I don't do bad men stuff, but I don't fight to be a "good man" I just want to be a normal, neutral guy. Lack of acknowledgement is why I ask myself. Why would I invest and put so much effort into being this perfect guy image? At the end of the day, I don't harm others, and I'm also not a hero/role model, in context.

Lol yeah it's a messed up dynamic and it's very relevant. I recommend for you to socialize with people from different cultures. Emphasis on culture, not race. It's black women out here that doesn't subscribe to the "bad boy" narrative/hook up culture. You're in no ways limited though. Yep, I was passionate about speaking my opinions and criticism. Now I'm indifferent and apathetic. People mistake that as a route to being sad. I've never had this much feeling of inner peace in my life until I stopped caring.

It'll be easier to clarify what mgtow is about, if this philosophy some how had to debate against mainstream. (which I hope never happens) Higher rates of sexlessness, and lower amounts of marriages is the environment's fault way more than what anyone with mgtow philosophy does. Remember the first rule of fight club folks. Also remember Mgtow is a philosophy, not a group to actively effect change. The environment is effecting change on itself.

This is a topic deservingly to be posted about. It's a silent elephant in the room. Shaming men when they're honest about their plights doesn't help them. Everyone says "have empathy, you don't know their story" until it's a person that they deem unworthy of that same empathy. I would post it, but honestly I'm tired of posting about a in-house problem, people don't want to talk about.

You're shaming language is ineffective but funny asf😂😂

Based. I've seen that soooo much. I'm not an incel but basically. How can someone making talking points, ultimately to the conclusion of "the juice isn't worth the squeeze" but shame dudes that are virgins, incels, or volcels? It's absolutely ridiculous, and I know the reason why. It's mainly because the people making these points still have the sexual quotas and expectations for men just like society does. A man that's a Virgin, or doesn't have sex isn't less than a man. Such hypocrisy. If an i…
/r/MGTOW201/07/21 12:37 AM

So I guess it's simply not possible to be indifferent, without taxing sexual urges? Just wack or do whatever you have to do and go on about life😂 Virgins are fine if they can handle their sexual urges. If they lose virginity than fine. It doesn't make them less of a man for both situations. (but society's expectations smh) Sex in today's society is waaayy overvalued. Every man has sexual urges but not every man has to be enslaved to it.
/r/MGTOW201/07/21 12:17 AM

Is it possible for it to not be a need? Some dudes get urges and just ejaculate and move on. Seems like that suffices well enough.

I Just want inner peace without societies lengthy expectations. No bitterness-No hate. I've been contemplating to not go by labels lately. Thing about mgtow is that for the most part it's just dudes that want out of the mainstream expectations of what a man "should" do or be. That's why I like it. Unfortunately, it is some bad reps, but the base fundamentals of "walking away" are pretty insightful.

To be quite frank. Most societies are individualistic. Individualism encourages some sociopathic behaviors to operate effectively. Most people are very self serving at heart, and anyone different than that at heart will be taken advantage of. I don't like it like that, but🤷‍♂️ That's just how it is.

This is the best explanation I've seen yet. Some mgtow never get to a stage in life where they're indifferent and find peace about how messed up the dynamic is between genders. Leave it alone because it can't be fixed, and enjoy your life. Chad, incel, virgin, whatever. It's not required to participate. That's what I think.

On the ground from my perspective. These dudes my age are willing to be on child support so they can hang over people heads, how much sex they've had. That's saaad. Yeah I'm just indifferent towards the participation of sex. I don't see it as a problem either. What's messed up is that dudes who don't want to participate are wrongfully labeled as incels, virgins, or gay. To them, I just say ignore societies expectations. Live your life, for what works best for you.

They keep talking about how their bad personal experiences and life was, when it's not necessary. They need to stop, but I doubt they will. I like playing with options trading in the stock market. I'm just focusing on being more efficient with my plays, so I can lose less money but gain more. Thanks for this post. Well put. It only will receive negative criticism when most dudes past the rage phase and are indifferent and don't "genuinely hate women". I don't condone, or think that having hate for women is okay. However, I do acknowledge that what is considered "hate" or not is extremely subjective. Some dudes may give reasonable criticisms of society, women, but it'll always be seen as hate. Thanks for the great detail. I've decided I'm still not for marriage though. That's my main point except I don't think it's really about trashy women. It's the laws. I can have a perfect wife and can be the perfect husband. She still has the gun, that can be used to tear me down, in a legal context. It's not about the women. Mainly the laws that enables such end results where a man is extorted. Dear God, let us not have kids. I would need to fight for them and hope my ex wife doesn't paint me as a exaggerated villain to my kids. It's just such a bad deal.

It's shaming language. I do recommend dudes to not come off as or be bitter but it's very hard to come off as objective or reasonable. It's always has to be some type of trauma that shapes someone's ideology. Which is true to an extent but it's likely not the main driving force. Tldr : Anyone with criticsm and less social protection (Straight-men) can never be seen as objective or reasonable at face value no matter how true that notion is.

Yep. I used to participate in the "gender war" on Facebook, (with a fake name of course) and yes I have been labeled a lunatic and woman hater by defending men after women would freely say misandric things on post. I don't regret it but, it was a bad decision on me and I recommend men definitely not giving pushback because the court of public opinion will tear a man to shreds. I'm still on fb but I've completely reseted with a new account and just post memes and unfollowed all people that consta…

What do you expect when things are comfortable? Hard times create strong men. You can't incentivize to have strong men when things are peaceful and nothing majority of men see is wrong.

For anybody that lacks sex or interest from women. That's fine too. You have reasonable clause too for going mgtow

You can call men weak but it honestly just sounds like you're a man trying to teach other men, How to be a man. Stop expecting men to be ambitious or whatever you envision as ambition. If you want to be a ultra rich dude, from "ambition" in your personal life, that's fine. It's not well received, when you're projecting what you think is success and how men should build towards success. I don't care if a man wants a "get rich quick scheme". He may fail miserably but It shouldn't really matter in …

Lol if I have to be an incel to not get fcked by the state than I'm fine with that. Tradcuck. Marry your wife and play your Nintendo switch in the corner while she's with the pool boy then shut up and watch.

Greatly put. Great analogy. " If the problems are mostly coming from society as a whole than men in general are being incentivized to go mgtow"

I don't get what you meant. Nor how if I masturbate is relevant........ It was a typo

Sex isn't the metric? With the level of importance and spotlight it gets? That's why the terms incels and celibate were even created and frequently used in all spaces related to the manosphere. Sex does have an important factor. Imo I believe it shouldn't be important but I acknowledge that sex in general and how much sex a man is getting from women is too relevant.

Any post/comments saying that a man with less sexual experience "can't really go mgtow" and call them losers are shaming. You never saw that?
/r/MGTOW206/05/21 06:18 AM

Yeah that's what I was about to get at too, because it's way too much focus on sex. Instead I wanted to focus on something more manageable which is laws and institutions leveraged against men. I agree

When I look at the dialogue in this sub most men in this sub claim to have a lot of sex with midly quality women. Few ever had problems in the sexual market or had less sex when mathematically it's not possible. Then shames anyone having no or less sex. The 80/20 rule is relevant but isn't set in stone because lack of research. It's ego in a mist of lies.

What's the point of walking away if you have to be validated through having sex? It's more to life than that. The "you were sent your way" notion is bs.

Men can never get pass the biological encoding and our biological encoding is the main reason why we lose to the system. Imagine all the fathers paying child support because we have a chemical incentive to have a child. It's pretty messed up, but just live your life and protect yourself legally and socially.

Actually black men are having less sex and wear the most condoms. The single mothers have sex with all the same dudes. It's literally the 80/20 rule. It's mothers having kids by different dads, that's likely the same "type" of dude.

"Yes it's hard not to when we live in such a gynocentric misandric society." Exactly right. We need to walk away and enjoy the wind hitting our face from a motorcycle or any of the hobbies an individual man may enjoy. We don't have to deal with this. I think hope is the main poison that we can't get past. We all envision a perfect marriage when in reality. No matter how perfect a marriage is, the laws are awful.

Live and let live. It's pretty much what this philosophy is about. For individual means of production, success and happiness. A gender war between wgtow isn't relevant, nor will it fix any of the problems we talk about.

It's way too much bitterness. I have noticed that with myself. I would purposely not hold the door for a girl because it's "white knighting", "simping" when it's just a kind gesture that I would like too, if I was behind someone, walking in a store. That type of attitude I had wasn't acceptable. At least for myself. I know we may have traumas from women, and the laws are screwed, but it's not a good reason to not generally be cordial. It's a fine line between "white knighting" and just being res…

Exactly. I'm looking at this thread and it's mgtow sounding like people who criticize everything about mgtow. Just shaming language. We literally have the same fundamental value as them. No state sanctioned marriages and enjoy/optimize your life to the fullest.

Lol I know people like to shame about being a femcel or incel but obviously it doesn't matter to those people. They pretty much hold the same values as us. Let's not be like other people that say "mgtow is just full of incels, that title themselves as mgtow."
