I hope you were able to get away from this very low value man.

I got confused about which sub this was for a minute. This is the redpill sub after all, and I do believe men should be paying for dates. I don't even reach for my wallet. Just my standard though. We aren't going to split pregnancy or childbirth. He isn't going to split the pink tax or all the money and time I spend on makeup, hair, nails, etc to look good either.

Where did I indicate that I was mad? lol You might want to hide your post history sis. We can see you doing surveys and begging for men who aren't responding to you

Girl this is super embarrassing please.... I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say you meant to post this elsewhere

Oh definitely. A lot of things slipped through the cracks before I knew what to expect, and what boundaries I needed to protect my peace. And I give myself grace for not knowing.

The relationship. There has been some damage done because of drama with his ex and boundaries that were not set in the first place. Now the drama has been cut off, he's put the boundaries right where they should be. I've been struggling because a lot of stuff is triggering childhood things like his impatience with me. After a few days of space, we talked and I didn't care for his attitude so I was upset. Values like family, modesty, the way we want our relationship to look. I may have to reflect…

I'm not sure if I want kids or not. I do feel against the clock here. And no I haven't spoken to her in a year. I met her once and that was horrible because I went in to be friendly. I may have misunderstood you advice because of that. He definitely will not be spending any time with her. It isn't like that anymore. She had a time where she overdramatized their son falling so that he could go over and then she tried to make him talk by threatening court, I called and he left that conversation in…

To be fair, I'm quite emotional and typing kind of fast so I may not be as clear. Sorry for that. There HAVE been changes. Its nowhere near like it was. They communicate through the OFW app and he messaged her that he doesn't want communication with her unless its directly about the child. I have seen changes but I am still in the fixing and defense mode. Like I mentioned to the other redditor, there are a lot of reasons I believe this relationship could work too. I mentioned those bad things th…

Thanks. I can't list all the good things like I can't list all the bad things. There are reasons I would prefer to stay with him though. I know I've gotten out of line as well at parts where I should have been more poised.

I will definitely demonize a woman that has called me names and trashed me for good reason. Lets be real. And he has set boundaries with her, yes. But at the very very start of us dating, he didn't. Again no help with strategy here. Just break up. lol Reddit

No it was finalized in summer of 2024. Coming up on 2 years. They were separated well before that for almost a year. So broken up for 3 years total. Is there a time in which divorced people should be able to date again? 5 years? 10? I'm new to this and I have never dated anyone who had been married or divorced before so I will give myself grace. But I figure, the answer is not strategy, its just break up with a man who matches my values because its so easy to find in 2026 as a woman in here mid …

Thank you I tried to add a little more information. His ex wife was his first everything and she is a master manipulator. So certain boundaries were not set in our relationship when it started. Like he went over to her house Christmas 2024 when the divorce had just been finalized. She kept asking him to go out and got mad when he told her now. She kind of pushed him into calling me a rebound early on. She tried to take him to court so that I could never meet their kid. There are so many things t…
