My intuitive take is you are not being superficial (though it comes across like this) - you are just not that into him. The car is simply an excuse. When we really like someone, we are willing to give a hall pass to a lot of things. Alternatively, when we don't, we tend to fixate on a certain quality (or aspect of their life) that if only weren't there, everything would be ideal. "He's perfect but..." usually translates to "He's good on paper and I know I should be into him but I'm not".

Second this. Consistency can't be demanded, much like respect. You can't force someone to respect you but you can refuse to be disrespected = same with consistency. I think you can give some leeway when it comes to consistency to someone you've just met. After all, you were a stranger in their lives up until now and it's only fair you're not yet on the top of their priorities list. But if it's date 5 and he's still not giving you the type and frequency of attention you need, it's best to walk aw…

the narrative that no woman could ever get friendzoned because, hey, the attention of a woman is in the price of gold This is true if the man has no options. Men with options can and will keep women around without having any imminent sexual intentions. (Edit: basically that's what having options means - having women who are interested in you around) muddying the waters with emotions would also make me look desperate, sad, clingy and weak. Yep.A woman should never put herself in a position of beg…

I think that it's a lost cause. He most likely knows you have feelings for him, you've hinted it multiple times in various ways. If there was a chance of something happening between you two, he would have made it clear. Yet he's kept his distance and played aloof to your hints. This should tell you he doesn't see you like a possible romantic partner but doesn't want to make things awkward as he probably values your companionship. The fact that he's openly sharing his relationship problems/feelin…

You say you are attracted to him, he takes care of you within his capacity and treats you very well, you seem to be compatible enough to work on a business together and want the same things out of life. I struggle to see the issue here. Settling would mean you are giving up one thing for another. But if you have everything you want in a partner, how exactly are you settling? I don't mean this in an accusatory way. If it's because he's not taking full care of you financially, I wouldn't expect th…

I agree. But I would like to point that the "easy" part doesn't come from the woman being promiscuous or cheap or a sugar baby or what have you. Rather it comes from the fact that she doesn't have access to the same tier of men, so she rationally doesn't have the choice to say no. I mean, obviously she can practically say no, but that fictional man is as best as she can do, and he knows that. Most sane women are not going to say no to a relationship with a man with a much higher social status, r…

What I meant was that education and career alone are not enough in that case. But that was a derail on my side, and not very relevant one indeed.

Education and career are things you can work on and they will get you a good leverage with high-status men within some circles. Like self-made entrepreneurs and upper managers in big corp, on top of my mind. But if we are talking about men from old money and politics, then your family background = your RMV.

Social and economic status matters a lot no matter how much the RP manosphere tries to downplay it when it comes to a woman's attractiveness. Sure, looks and youth are what make up your SMV, but the Cinderella storytale is the exception rather than the rule. High-status men will date the 21-year-old gorgeous but poor girls, bring them to friends, give them the full girlfriend experience but they will always marry women from their own social circle who have a similar social standing to them. I've…

As someone whose ex tried to reach out two years after breaking up (basically your situation in reverse), I would advise to carefully examine your heart and what you want; and decide if you are willing to give him the upper hand in whatever comes next. Blowing someone off, breaking their heart and then coming back from the same standpoint shows immaturity and not knowing what you want. If you are serious about this, show him you deeply regret what you did. And yes, you will come off as desperate…

I think it's situational and depends on your own ages. Usually, the older you are, the bigger the age gap can be without causing significant issues. 22 and 26 is absolutely fine IMO and I don't think your boyfriend is weird about dating college girls as your friends have said. He was probably in college himself just two or three years ago. There isn't really a big cognitive difference between you two. Even if there is some, it's benefitial for you as a couple, as he is wiser and more mature but …

It's hard for me to say objectively as I'm a very late bloomer. I was overweight, had short hair and masculine manners and was always mistaken for a teenage boy up until about 21. Then in the course of two years I got in shape, totally changed my appearance and manners, grew my hair, started wearing feminine clothing, etc. and naturally my attractiveness grew exponentially to what it was before. I'm certainly a ton more attractive than I used to be, but compared to women in my age range (~25) I …

It's not you. Young men (under 25) are usually surrounded by more women in their social settings (school, university) and don't need to resort to meeting women in the streets. That's reason #1 in my opinion. They also move in groups much more often which acts as a barrier, and many are too shy/unexperienced to make a move at a random girl. Once men enter the workforce full time (after 25), the number of available single women drops down so things like dating apps and approaching women in the str…

Absolutely not. Everything you put on a dating app is accessable to everyone who has the app meaning just about anyone. It's not smart to share your address, why would you think something as private as the number of people you've been with is okay to share? Would you put it in your Instagram bio? It's basically the same. I understand your reasoning behind this is to weed out the men who might have a problem with the number but they are going to weed themselves out in the natural course of dating…

You don't live in the same city and for all you know he could have a girlfriend and be looking for a side girl for when he's traveling to your town. You are putting too much expectations on someone you haven't even met. I'd wait to meet him IRL before describing him as everything you're looking for.

So, assuming you don't go to the party, social media is your only choice. Is there any bad excuse you can use to text him - ask for help with something trivial enough but still something he's good at? That's if you don't want to come off too obvious. You can always open his profile and like the last 4-5 pics. It's not very subtle but will do the trick with a certain type of guys and they will text you. One of my best friends got engaged a year after doing this to her now-fiance.

He should be the one following up obviously. Is he texting you regularly? I don't think he was running game per se, but he probably has better or more available options lined up. If he's texting you regularly but doesn't ask you out, I would indicate I'm not interested in a pen pal, but would like to go out on a date. Let's say he asks you a question, you say "I will tell you when we go out some smiling emoji. Or he asks when he will see you, you say "When you ask me out". And leave it at that. …

In my experience, most guys who try to pick you up on the street are coming from some sort of PUA/RP background. I recognize them by how relaxed they are and what they say. See, any normal man is going to be at least a little nervous about approaching a random woman. If he is confident and his body language is relaxed, he's done this before. That's not automatically a bad thing, just something to note. Then, how is he talking? I've spent a lot of time studying these communities and can recognize…

The hotter you are, the more leverage you have when it comes to your n count. I know plenty of conservative men who are keen on low n counts until an 8 or a 9 walks into their lives. Then her n count magically stops having much weight and they will gladly close their eyes.

First, get out of your head and stop hamstering about seeming desperate. You are not desperate for wanting to have a coffee with some girl or whatever. Being in your head obsessing about how people perceive you gets in the way of being open to the world, and surprisingly, only through being open can you make friends. Second, a friend is not your soulmate. They don't need to check all the boxes in your list nor do you need to share the same views. Don't write people off for superficial reasons li…

Taking one week to reply after 5 dates is too much for me and I personally would question how much, if at all, this person likes me. Did he give any explanation as of to why he disappeared or did he continue the conversation as if nothing happened? The only time I would suggest pursuing this after a week of no reply in the early dating stage is if something has happened (his grandmother passed away type of thing).

There's red pill's simple answers and then there's real life where (some) people manage to acknowledge their mistakes, work hard to improve themselves and their circumstances and get out of crappy situations. OP is 19 and has her life ahead of her. She can submit to the first not hideous man or she can put in the work to do everything that's in her power to put herself in a position of being a valuable partner to someone who understands that unicorns don't exist.

Hey, listen. You are not low value. Life happens, everyone makes mistakes. The important thing is to learn from them and not repeat them. I will tell you a personal story. After my mother had me, she and my father split and she became a single mother. She was 20 at the time. It's important to distinguish between things here. I believe what you are referring to stems from a difference in SMV as opposed to how you act. The men you are 100% not interested in are most likely noticeably under your league. They know this and know that if they want to stand a chance, they need to chase and they need to chase hard. They aren't chasing you because you behave uninterested and don't reciprocate their feelings, they are chasing you because they perceive your value is much highe…

Just guessing here. It could be you come off as uninterested. There is a fine line between believing you are the prize and acting unbothered, unenthusiastic and stand-offish. The first shows you value yourself highly and the second shows you value yourself so highly that no human being is worthy of you. I am saying this because your post suggest you are wary of showing excitement, don't flirt and come from a place of lack of trust. These are not exactly the ingredients of a happy date and maybe …

Breaking up with someone because they looked up someone else on Instagram is paranoid-to-the-bone, borderline crazy behaviour. If she had confronted him about it and he had shown signs of disloyalty, made her feel insecure or gaslit her, your advice would be the obvious solution, but nothing of the sorts has happened. He could have easily browsed through his acquaintances to pass time, attention with no intention.

It seems like too much of an investment for unclear purposes. How would you know if they are playing games or are simply not interested? And then, let's say you have a way of figuring it out, what do you do with the information they are not responding on purpose? Chase them harder? Don't you think, even if they are playing games, they are doing it simply for validation? These are genuine questions because 1) I don't see how you can turn this around in your own favour and 2) and I can't see how i…

There's only one reason for someone to ignore your text: it's not important to them. It doesn't matter if it's intentional or not. I am cautious of people (doesn't matter if we are talking friendship- or dating-wise) who routinely take more than a day to answer. Life happens, sometimes you are genuinely busy at the moment and forget to reply later - been there, I get it. But if this is a pattern of behaviour, why would you engage with someone who doesn't even think about you to the point of forg…

It's in the gray area. On one hand, it talks a lot about "not giving up the cookie", as the author puts it, which is compatible with RP ideas of delaying sex until a certain level of commitment. It also encourages game-playing and subtle (and not so subtle) manipulation techniques though. One on top of my mind is to hung up the phone when the man calls you to show you've got more important things going on. It's essentially a book about gaining the power in a relationship. This is obviously total…

A few years ago, shortly after moving away for college, I found out my father is using dating apps. I didn't tell my mother. There was a previous occasion of her finding out about an affair of his back when I was younger and I know how much it hurt her. A guy could be an average Joe, but if he's introduced to me as the partner of a girlfriend of mine, I will subconsciously find him more attractive than I would if I were to meet him in a random social setting. Preselection is really a thing.

It doesn't make it clear from your post whether you asked him out for coffee at lunch - so during lunch, you asked him to hang out and have coffee outside of working hours, or you asked him out for coffee at lunch - i.e. during lunch you suggested you get coffee then and there? Don't be so obsessed with how you are perceived by other people. No one likes a try-hard. I work an office job where most people wear jeans and t-shirts. I am always dressed to my best efforts, with light make up and heels. Because of safety matters. I've only taken numbers of guys I've had a pleasant encounter with, but even then, it's a stranger. We are not talking about meeting in a group of acquaintances, a hobby club or another social setting that allows for some pre-vetting. You never know. It happens about 1/3 of times I go out. I never give out my number, but if I like the guy, I will take his. I can almost instantly tell if it's a guy who approaches women on a regular basis (a PUA for example). Since I've spent a significant amount of time in RP communities, I find it interesting to see what I am reading about live. It's a numbers game for them. I've never seen a 30-year-old look 23 IRL. I've seen many youthful looking, beautiful women who are 30 but never mistaken one for a 23 year old. Youth has a special glow that can't simply be captured with sunscreen, workouts or cosmetic surgery. Most 18-year-olds will have a higher SMV than most 30-year-olds. Age matters to SMV because women's fertility window is short. Good looks and looking youthful are both just a symptom of being fertile. So I presume that if you can seriously pull off the 3…

It's a completely legit concern. As is getting hit by a car, your future child using drugs, your best friend turning against you, etc, you get the idea. I don't think there's any point in abstractly worrying about your future husband leaving you for a younger more attractive woman. There are many tragedies that could happen to us in life, some much worse than this. If you struggle over every potential problem that may arise, what kind of life would you be living? Here's my list regarding social situations: Greeting and engaging with small talk with people I meet during my day. Exchanging a few more sentences than required lifts my mood up in a sweet manner. Asking because if he's a minor/major influencer and what you like about him is just his social media value, it probably won't work out. That lady from School of Affluence is selling a dream. Most of her dating advice wouldn't work unless you are already in well-off circles and certainly isn't applicable to teenagers. He could say they are in a relationship, he might even believe and act it, but if it's his hormones and the chasing game driving him, it would still end up with a heartbreak for her. Here is the thing about building friendship: you need proximity, trust and some common interest. As someone who's very introverted and had little to no friends growing up, making new friends doesn't come naturally to me. Lower than 4, yes. I mean, sure, it could be circumstances, anything can happen in life, but a man who's 24-26 and has only slept with one woman is a yellow flag for me. I am not saying he has to be promiscuous and run over half the town but I would certainly ask myself what stopped him from being with more women.

I wouldn't be OK with a man with a less sexual experience than me. I am 23 and have a low n-count. If the guy is older than me but has had less partners, I would assume he has some problems attracting women or something in that nature. I also don't want to be with a man who feels like he is missing on something because he hasn't chased enough tail. If you and your partner have had that conversation and your cards are on the table (i.e. you are not covering up a promiscuous past let's say), and h…

If you are meeting online and that first date would also be the first time you see him IRL, I think that a quick coffee is the best option. It can be done in a reasonable time during the day and you can excuse yourself shortly in case expectations aren't met. If you insist to a three course dinner with a man you haven't actually seen and it turns out you don't like him for some reason, what's your plan? Sit until the end and pretend you enjoy his company or escape mid-dinner and leave him wonder…

It's too soon unless you are in high school. What you are feeling is very unlikely to be love and more likely to be the rush of the excitement of a new relationship. Bite your tongue and don't say things out of tingles. He'll be the one to say it first when he feels it.

This is wrong on so many levels. You know it's wrong when you can't talk to your closest ones about it. I was in a similar position some time ago, similar age gaps. He was a confident, charming and extremely smart, influential man. He was also married for 10+ years, had children, done it all & got bored of family life. He wanted to feel young, desirable and carefree. And there I was - just as in love as you are and willing to believe any lie I am told just to keep seeing him. I feel you about th…

I personally believe that these men just weren't a match with you - no man who likes you would be turned off enough by your offer to ditch you. However I don't think you should offer to pay so soon. It's important to show that you value yourself and you don't need to compensate him financially for taking you out. It's not gold digging or using him - he asked you out, he's the one courting you. Let yourself be courted and pay him back by showing him a good time - being pleasant, fun, cheerful and…

Everything is fine as long as it's aesthetically pleasing. I have a girlfriend who's easily a 9 (model type). Naturally beautiful but puts in a looot of effort to look good all the time. She even goes to the beach with full face make up on, foundation, sculpting, false lashes, you name it. She gets a lot of male attention in general but also a lot of that attention comes from HV males (think entrepreneurs, good looking, some local celebrities). I'm curious, what do you do with your friends when you go out together? Sit down and analyze the current events? Go to a cafe and talk politics? Organize a party where you discuss culture norms and your values? Everyone is entitled to an opinion. Nor are you required to share your views on any stance if you think it might cause more harm than good. What you need though is to like them for who t…

Sure, most guys would smash you (or me, or any other woman) if given the opportunity. But how many men are willing to put effort to create this opportunity? To pursue and court you? A man who just met you won't take you out on a nice dinner because you've made a discovery in modern medicine nor because he wants to marry you. He'll do it because he's attracted to you. And if more men are attracted to you enough to go after you, you can have your pick. So yes, being a highly sexually desired woman…

If might differ from culture to culture but... People don't go on Instagram to date. They go there to share their life (curated highlights but still). If you two were on an app which sole purpose is dating, then it would be perfectly OK to initiate since both of you are there for the same reason. Well there is a fine line between putting yourself in a situation where you could meet him and stalking him around town. You should figure out where that line is for yourself. I wouldn't hang around where he works/lives hoping to see him. It puts you in a desperate position and like you don't have anything better to do (which is often the case). Well done photographs by a professional could always be of use though. Not just for online dating, but in work related settings too. One should always have a decent picture of themselves. I don't know what OP means by sensual, maybe showing off her femininity? Boudoir wouldn't be of much use unless you are looking for something casual on Tinder. But nice photos you wouldn't mind your mum and dad seeing... if you have the means, I don't see why not.

Imagine you are at a college party at a friend's house with your boyfriend. You are tipsy but definitely not drunk. Any intimacy you would have on the couch while everyone is around you, is fine. Anything you would need to go to an empty room for is perhaps something that would add to your N-count. Making out with clothes on and no touching below the waist is where I draw the line. But different people have different understanding of it.

I come from a small town where people are socially and politically conservative but currently live in the capital city where I am surrounded by more left leaning, progressive people. In the small town, holding out on sex for commitment is the rule. Casual sex is generally looked down on and guys don't expect that a girl will put out unless they commit (excluding the girls who have such reputation.) So most won't even make a move unless they get a clear sign you are into it. I felt much more free…

Him showing you pictures of his kids and talking about them is not an indicator of emotional attachment or anything of that kind. Absolutely don't do that. Asking to go to his office (or nearby, doesn't matter) is you actively chasing him. Don't put him on such a pedestal after one great date and a week of silence afterwards. People say all kind of things when they are drunk & caught up in the moment. Don't dwell on it. Insecurity isn't a hell of an attractive trait and acting on it will lead to unnecessary drama. Don't be a special snowflake. If this was a one time thing, just let it pass. Forgive and forget. If she's generally bitchy to you, don't spend your time around her. No point in bringing it up. People who are rude and insensitive won't change because your feelings got hurt.

I disagree about posting your hobbies or what you are up to. Sure, a nice photo from a vacation once in a blue moon is fine, but constant updates with various activities diminishes all mystery. The people on your social media don't need to know that you can cook, sew or hike. Keep that stuff to yourself and only bring it up casually in conversation if an opportunity presents itself. It increases attractiveness so much more when you aren't putting it in people's faces seeking validation.

You don't step into dating with the idea that "he is the prize". If you act like you have to prove yourself to him before he has courted you, you are already on the losing side. RPW teaches women to be submissive after we have vetted the man and he has proven his worth, not on the first date. I remember Joe Rogan talking about the difference between hot and beautiful women and made the same distinction.

But what else could she do? Wait and hope he comes around? Ditch everyone else so she could be available if he calls?

As I see it, here are your options: Block him and never see him again. No risk, no reward. Give him the benefit of the doubt. Meet him and see what he has to offer. He could lie, manipulate and tell you want you want to hear. He could also have had his mind changed and want to commit. High risk, high reward. Depending on your level of relationship, how well you know him and your own ability to vet, you have to decide which path to take. If you were my friend, I'd advice you to meet him, keep it …

I have to agree. If your SMV is high, you will get approached, no matter how unapproachable or bitchy you look. That's the harsh reality. Also, the best way to assess your own attractiveness is to assess the atractiveness of the men who hit on you in broad daylight in public.

Well not as much as I did before, but yes. We've cut ties but have a common friend so the topic of him comes up from time to time. I wish him everything nice. Weirdly enough, I never think of the nice moments we had together. I only remember the worst of him. I guess that's how I was able to get over him - by convincing myself that he was the bad guy. When we were together, I thought I loved him. This idea makes me laugh now. Somewhere over at TRP I read that women define reality through their e…

I don't think you can speed the process nor do I think it's wise to intentionally get out there and date again so you can get over him. It may take you months to recover. Or you might meet someone next week and fall in love. You never know. Allow yourself to feel bad - you were young and in love and he broke your heart. But don't allow yourself to feel too bad - you are 19. Life is ahead of you and in the grand scheme of things this won't be more than a snap. Under no circumstances contact him. …

I wouldn't get so uptight about a greeting. Most people don't put much thought into a hug for "hello". I know a lot of people in a LTR or married who go for a hug and have never found it weird. However, if it really bothers you, being assertive and guarding your SO would come off as being insecure, surely. Make it clear to him that hugging other girls is making you uncomfortable so he can find another way to greet them. Maybe some of the more experienced RPW can suggest a way to tell him that wi…

Being attractive enough to get him in bed with her and telling her "things would be different" might as well mean nothing. A man will sleep with any woman that meets some basic criteria (which is often very low), especially when he doesn't have to put any effort. A man with no morals might as well pass some comfort tests and lie or give a false promise to give her reassurance to keep her around. I wouldn't encourage OP to "support him and his life" and prove her worth to a man plating her for ye…

I would say it's possible to revert the situation. The first thing you need to do is distance from him. You are clearly not enjoying the status you have now and no amount of self work will change it if you keep sleeping with him. Someone once said the definition of madness is doing the same thing and expecting different result. So Get out of the relationship. No contact for at least six months, if not more. Lose the weight and improve your appearance so you are content with it. Focus on your psy…

I see. You can check out Mrs. Midwest on YT, there's also a blog. She focuses on topics such as female beauty, etiquette, elegance and relationships, and could give some gentle Red Pill awareness to your SIL. "The Rules Revisited" is a blog I've found extremely helpful on beauty, fashion and the sexual market place but I don't think it's subtle at all. There are some harsh RP truths there and still is probably closer to what you are looking for in terms of content.

"Why Men Love Bitches" contains some RP truths. I recently recommended it to a friend (quite progressive and BP) who was chasing after a guy and she loved it. I think it helped her see her situation in a different light without me pushing the pill down her throat.

I'm pretty sure she didn't hold out this hard for her ex. Based on what does a man make this assumption? I am geniuenly interested as I see this said around this sub and TRP quite often. How can a man assume how long it took a woman to get sexual in the past? If she has a promiscuous reputation, sure, but otherwise?

I am not saying this is the case, just a thought - you could be projecting your own insecurities onto people. People often see us as we see ourselves. People there pretty much hang out within their own groups and do not want anything to do with me. You feel out of place or invisible and that's probably the vibe you are giving off. I am not sure this is very RP but I would say to relax and enjoy your time at these meetings. I've struggled a lot with the same kind of issues before (and still do so…

Not acceptable in his eyes when you are on his couch with your shirt off and he's putting on a condom. When you let things get this far and then pull back, it looks like you are playing games/ are not attracted/ don't know what you want. I am not saying that OP should have gone with the flow and crossed her boundaries but I think she shouldn't have put herself in a situation clearly leading to sex if she knew she wasn't ready.

Agree. He was left with the impression that OP is playing games (putting sex on the table and then withdrawing) so he started doing the same.

Save your virginity for the time being. If you don't see a future with your boyfriend, losing it to him will probably make you regret the decision. You may not fully understand this now (I didn't when I was 18) but virginity is a precious gift and it's good to be careful who you'll give it to.

Thank you everyone.Reading your comments scared me. I certainly don't want to end up sleeping with him. I guess I really wanted to believe that there could be some kind of excuse to keep seeing him and "be friends" which is nuts. I am not taking his calls anymore.
