Girls, I met the perfect man. He’s handsome, funny, masculine, treats me extremely well, and we want the same things. I think I’m crazy about him.

There’s just one thing that I can’t stop thinking about and it’s totally superficial so I’m trying to ignore it, but I thought maybe you girls would have some good advice or experiences to share. He’s not that tall. I think maybe a couple inches taller than me, but not much. My ex was super tall and I guess I’m just used to it. I wouldn’t really be able to wear heels without being taller than him, although that’s not exactly the end of the world.

I wonder if that would go away as we got to know each other better? Anyone have any experience with this? It’s so stupid that it’s bothering me but I can’t help thinking about it. I don’t want a superficial concern to interfere with what could possibly be a really meaningful relationship that could lead to something more. Thoughts?

Edit: wow, thank you so much for the award! And thank you for all the kind advice. I’m seeing him again tonight and can’t wait :)
