Ok I'm going to backpedal on what I said above and agree with you. I'd like to modify my above statement to read this way: Assholes, nice guys, confident guys... the same percentage of each group doing what they do in order to get with girls. Because you're right, some guys are just raised to be nice to women. It's reflex, not some plan. And some are just assholes. For instance, I was raised in the South so I was raised to think you should always open a door for a woman. Now I just do it out of …

Newsflash: Most guys do everything they do because they want to fuck women. Every guy in this subreddit, for instance, is learning how to be confident so he can get with women. Assholes, nice guys, confident guys... they're all doing what they do for exactly the same reason. Let's not pretend that assholes and confident guys aren't. They just have different and better tactics.

Disproven mostly by people who aren't scientists and aren't doctors and thus have no fucking idea what they're talking about. People like you, for instance. Maybe you should GTFO out and start a subreddit with Jenny McCarthy's anti-vaccination crowd. You have a lot in common. Nah, let's just go on alienating as many men from the MensRights subreddit as possible. Yep, that's a great plan.

You're right. I should have been more accurate. I should have said... factually incorrect and scientifically unsupported. What I said implied there was no data when in fact there is real data which contradicts almost everything that's been said on the subject here so far. I'm not anti-circ or pro-circ. I am I don't give a shit circ. What I ALSO am is a believer in science and facts and none of it is on your side. Until it is, you should probably shut up and stop pushing an issue which divides th…

Good luck with your overwrought, emotionally loaded, fact-free, science-free opinion.

You might not miss me but you'll miss the other 100 million or so men who feel the same way and will never be a part of Men's Rights as long as this is a criteria for membership.

Again, not everyone agrees with this. Actually most people don't. Your viewpoint is not the only one on this subject. EDIT: Clearly I'm wasting my time. Unsubscribing to Men's Rights. So, by the way, will the other majority of men who don't give a shit about this subject.

I'm not sure I'd view circumcision as a "device", certainly not of the type this article is discussing, but maybe I'm thinking too literally. Or maybe I don't spend all of my time thinking about the length of my foreskin.

See you're still debating it. Debating this issue just divides men who should be uniting. If we want to debate it, fine. Let's do it in a place for that, instead of cluttering up threads like this with it, where it immediately derails and takes over the entire conversation.

It's not relevant because there's no hard evidence that it actually reduces sexual pleasure. Which is also why it derails conversations. On the other hand, there's no doubt that cutting out a woman's clitoris has drastic impact on sexual pleasure. More than 50% of men still get their infants circumcised so by tying the movement to this issue you're just dividing men. The general view of the anti-circ movement is that it's about as nutty as the anti-vacc crowd. Personally I check out of any conve…

Absolutely. However they usually focus on men, probably because men are more motivated to do it.

Wear a condom and cum on her tits then. Or if you're that paranoid, get a vasectomy too. It's ridiculous to deprive yourself of sex just for this reason, in this modern era, when there are plenty of ways you can prevent pregnancy on your own. You know what, even if you drive your car really safe there's a chance you could be killed in a car wreck. So I guess you shouldn't drive a car then, right? Let's not be ridiculous. Swearing off sex is not the answer and this should not be encouraged.

There's no scientific consensus on that AT ALL. Which is why bringing it up just derails every conversation.

"by consenting to sex I am also consenting to fatherhood" Um... correction... "by consenting to UNPROTECTED sex I am also consenting to fatherhood" Just wear a condom dude.

Does a really good job. I think a lot of the reason people assume violence against men by women isn't a big deal, is because men are usually bigger and stronger and so should be able to defend themselves easily. Except that ignores the societal programming which is ingrained into every man's head that you NEVER ever hit a woman. That leaves you completely unable to defend yourself when attacked. And you can clearly see that's what's going on in the video. This guy didn't even try to defend himse…

I really, really think men's rights movements aren't doing themselves any favors when they turn every debate into a circumcision debate.

Was restricted? Still is. Most major religions still tell men that they'll go to hell for masterbating. Some, like Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons, will even excommunicate for it.

But those support systems used to keep married guys connected and now they're gone.

Never thought about that... but it's so, so true. Most of the men I know have almost no friends and there's not really anywhere they can go to make any. Actually speaking for myself the only reason I know other men who don't have friends is because our wives are friends. Our wives, on the other hand, have super busy social calendars and meet up with other women in women only groups and hang out. There's nothing like that for guys. Usually I just sit home and watch the kid or work. Is there any i…

Wow, you read an awful lot into what I said that wasn't there. Not that what you said isn't valid, but not necessarily applicable to what I'm saying, directly.

It's hard to do though, after a lifetime of being told by society and pretty much any woman you've ever met NOT to do that, that it's not respectful, etc. It's so hard to break that programming.

Really good advice. I think this may be my problem. What you're describing as your previous problem mirrors mine exactly. It sounds like I'm just not forcing the issue enough, right away. I kind of work slowly, watch her for signals... I don't really usually k-close until the end of the date for instance, and I think I'm overly concerned with being polite and not making her uncomfortable. It sounds like you're saying I should just not give a shit what she thinks and just keep pushing with kino u…

Having exactly the same problem. Seriously, I was about to write the same post in the same way. I have great dates. Sometimes I even make it to a third date. We have an awesome time, I always K-close, they seem into me... and then I get the exact above message. So frustrating. I need to figure out what I'm doing wrong because this has happened so frequently that I'm basically wasting my time even bothering going on dates at all until I figure out what the issue is.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
