I would say I would personally prefer it to be eliminated or put into "deep standby" with no registration at all, like it was from 1975-1980. I am personally against any sort of draft whatsoever. On the one hand, the only thing this really changes is that men no longer have to actively register anymore (still no active draft, yet). On the other hand, that makes it easier and almost completely frictionless in the event they ever were to reactivate the draft. (Shudder) It's a mixed bag, and would much prefer that they put Selective Service back in "deep standby" like they had in 1975-1980, with no registration whatsoever.

As one of my FB friends (who is a die-hard Marxist and also an MRA as well) would clarify, NOT CLASSICAL Leftists. Rather, it's the "woke shitlibs", as he likes to call them. I disagree and debate with this guy a LOT, to be honest, as I am not a Marxist nor do I really fit in with most of the manosphere either, but he is certainly correct that the manosphere is a reaction in part due to excess of only a segment of the (mostly phony) "left".

As an American in the land of 300+ million guns, where mass shootings are taken for granted as normal (the banality of evil), 96-99% of which are done by males, I can unfortunately and grudgingly KINDA see why Brazil would want to have such a policy about guns. Correlation doesn't prove causation though. There is likely a lot of selection bias and confounding here, and also leveraging from outliers. And notice that the study found no gender differences. Most likely explanation is that some people, regardless of gender, are just not the marrying kind at all, while of course some just need to get the wildness and partying out of their system before settling down.
