Consult a bankruptcy lawyer! Determine if a chapter 7 bankruptcy would wipe out all/most of your debt! If you lease/have a loan on your car or if it crap then you can keep it as well. Retirement accounts won’t be touched (do not transfer a big sum in there now, that would be fishy and you will end up in trouble). Nothing. During our marriage she hit me every day for 3 years and i fought back 2-3 times. No recent thing. She just makes up claims, she refers to text messages and lies about the content (which i can prove). I just talked to a psychologist and the psychologist (a woman who worked in a women center) said that what my ex does sounds like postpartum psychosis. Ok, the loan might look bad on you because you have already filed. I think that you can transfer over the mortgage, BUT there are lots of closing costs. It is probably better if you keep the house and take out a second mortgage. You can take cash out of your accounts (you could even make a new bank account at a small reginoal bank, there is no way they can subpoena 100s of banks, but you need to put the money in in cash). You could buy gold (kitco.com or jmbullion), gold is relatively stable +/- 15% per year. Take out a personal loan for $20k, that loan could get split 50/50. It just caught me off guard today that my ex wife seems to date her ex boyfriend. People aren’t static, people develop, and if you don’t develop in a similar direction, the chances are high that you don’t want to stay together with her forever. Currently, my ex is withholding my son from communicating with me and also refuses to Hand him over for visitation (yesterday and today). I try not to message her, but I ask daily to talk to him and on my visitation days to pick him up. Is that the right way to do it? She will try to claim harassment on me so I try to contact her as little as possible. I didn’t hear from my 3 year old son for 7 days (I am his favorite and he always has a fun time with me).

Ohh, I thought it’s like “well we tried everything, negotiated a lot, but we can’t reach an agreement. Let’s present the facts to the judge (including all those reports from professionals), both parties tell him what they can and cannot agree on and he will decide the rest. That Should be a couple of hours, a day max. Well with that cps report I made my ex to my enemy and she won’t agree to 50/50 custody even if her live dependent on it.

Let me tell you something. If she would call the cops and had minor evidence (gave herself a bruise) they would treat him like he killed her, but if he calls them on her, she might not even get arrested.

Wow, that’s even worse than I thought. I hope that I can stay below 4-digits. There isn’t a way to say you are done negotiating and to let a judge decide? Literally could have saved you $70k, but I am sure lawyers don’t tell you.

Haha. My ex claimed that i don’t do shit, but at the same time she wanted me to -take care of the lawn/bushes -fix her car again that didn’t start -put together some stuff from IKEA -fix the curtain poles -fix a railing And that literally days before i moved out (because she wanted me to move out). I also helped a lot in the household and watched the kids at least 50% of the time. Well, since I moved out she hit my son (left a bruise ex on him) and stopped responding to me/let me have my visitat…
