Just follow rules 1 & 2. Dating apps only reward superficial attractiveness. They’re a downer for probably 75% of men.

One way to ruin a future marriage is to tell your future husband “you don’t do that any more” once you’re married.

I figure God can do whatever he pleases. Why is their view of God limiting?

The first year of marriage is all about setting expectations. My advice: fail early and fail often. Her expectations will be so low that you will be able to delight her later on without even trying. /s

Apple picking. Spending IRL time with your family is a fleeting privilege. NFL (and I love football) are a bunch of millionaires playing a kids game. It’s not real life. I’m not saying let your wife lead you around by the nuts every Sunday, but being a present husband and father is way more important to you and your family than begging out in front of the tv for 3 hours.

Two people can work through a lot of marital problems if they are aligned on values. Being unrepentant of egregious past sin is a huge red flag to say that she doesn’t share your same values, despite what she says.

This sounds like someone who has never been a man having an argument with a woman.

This is a straw man argument. Who says that men think “conventionally unattractive” women have it EASY when it comes to dating? I think most men would agree that fat, ugly women are not going to be drowning in options. It’s just that they HAVE options.

Maybe it’s because of my age, but escorts seem like a good option for older married guys in dead bedrooms. You love your wife, but she has zero interest in sex. A monthly visit to see a girl could be the difference between marriage and divorce.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/24 10:01 PM

I’m not clear on your argument. Which are you saying: - Women have an advantage over men. This is because they can perform sex work. - When it comes to performing sex work, women have an advantage. I’d say the first option is not true. Having the option to sell your body for sex isn’t much of an advantage. And the second point is irrelevant because so few men WANT to engage in sex work.

You know how many women don’t even bother with BJs? Especially not to completion. And that percentage goes WAY up when you’re talking about married women.

Guys will fuck a tree stump. Women want men to have some archetype of social status, protector, provider, etc. It’s hard to be any of those with mental illness.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/24 02:25 AM
3

Only old harpies actually say that. I think we can all agree that younger women are GENERALLY hotter than older women. It’s not even debatable.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/09/24 04:44 PM

Absolutely. I have never once in 45 years had an explicit discussion with a guy about a sexual conquest. My wife says she knows all kinds of stuff about even her most goody-two shoes friends.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/24 08:41 PM

I’d agree that they are both bad. But I’d be a pathetic mess if I used porn as much as my wife uses social media.

I agree with OP. Don’t get jacked and rich to get girls. Do it to make yourself the kind of guy you admire and want to be. The women will come. Also, don’t get jacked and flaunt wealth (real or fake) and then complain about women. If you’re taking the path to get the shittiest kind of shallow women, then of course it’s going to be hard to find a good one.

I think that’s a very immature view of RP. TRP is about having fulfilling and satisfying relationships based on an understanding of M/F dynamics. It’s a fact that a deep and mature relationship is going to involve long term commitment. Guys who do a good job finding feminine and complementary women can set themselves up for a lifetime of happiness.

How does this. It's assumed everyone doesn't meet anyone else after the first date and especially after sex. The “next big thing” is going to be the push for legalization and normalization of pedeastry. The gay rights movement has cemented the idea that sexual orientation in in-born. And the trans movement is giving little children the ability to make life-altering choices about their physical gender & sexual preferences. You’re pursuing pleasure without any thought of happiness. That new relationship energy is awesome, but it’s just a fleeting feeling. It’s not “real” and isn’t the basis for long term contentment and happiness. I’m not trying to say that you have to be married to be happy. Just define what you want out of life and try to separate short-term dopamine hits from real lasting contentment.

Porn & social media. Guys see all these over the top representations of men and women online and assume that they don’t measure up. They don’t have the six pack and 9” dong like the guy in the video, so their confidence takes a hit. It was already hard enough trying to overcome young man awkwardness to talk to a girl. Those aren’t my original ideas. You should read The Accidental Superpower and other books by Peter Zeihan. England has been invaded 73 times. My first job out of college was in sales, and the first thing I noticed was that all these dork senior salesmen had really hot wives. Every one of them was “out-kicking their coverage”. After working a while, I realized the main mental hurdle of a salesman is hearing the word “no” and not letting it deter him. These guys took the same attitude with women, and it paid off for them.

As a modern society, we’re in a constant rush to throw off all traditional societal norms. What if we get to the end of the road and realize that those traditional values were just incredibly hard-won wisdom codified? When 99% of the planet’s cultures historically place an extremely high value on “traditional” marriage principles, maybe we should have a little humility and assume that there is some wisdom there.

If you’re both bringing equal assets and income to the relationship, then there is little reason NOT to get married. Any divorce would split things down the middle and you’d go your separate ways. It’s when the income of one spouse is much higher than the others that the possibility of “divorce rape” starts to creep in.

Would it be great if all women (and men) were honest? Of course. But this is /r/redpillChristians, and the red pill side of that name says to multiply any n count number a girl gives you by some value > 1. If you’re the type of guy who will walk away from a woman with a high n-count, then the girl will know it and will have every incentive to lie.
/r/RPChristians30/05/21 11:36 PM

Are you prepared to walk away if she says she isn’t a virgin? What if she says her “n count” is 1? What if she says it’s 1, but it’s really 3? If a girl you’re dating is a virgin, then that will obviously come out in conversation. If she isn’t, then it may be best to not know the details.

Has she dated a lot of guys? Do you have any strong reason to think she isn’t a virgin? If not, I’d just ask her and then trust whatever she says is true. Or better yet, don’t ask - that way she isn’t put in a position where she feels compelled to possibly start her marriage off with a lie.

Focus on Jesus. The same Jesus is the savior of both the powerful Roman centurion and to the Eunich. Same to the king and the slave, same to the rich noble and to the lowly prostitute. Your ”manliness”, at whatever level you think it is or would like it to be, is inconsequential to Him. Get right with Jesus as your savior and then worry about everything else. If you’re a practicing Christian, then sexual fornication is a sin. The only reason to get married is so you can “fornicate” with your wife without judgement. If you’re asexual or extremely stoic, then even Paul says it’s better to stay single.

Just and FYI that the idea that we live longer than our ancestors is mostly a myth. You don’t understand much about leadership in the real world then. Is the general the best marksman in the army? Can a ship’s captain fix the engine? A leader sets vision and makes sure that the organization (family) is rallied around that vision and executing for the same goals. He does this by setting an example and keeping everyone accountable, but he doesn’t have to be the best at every role. Or even remotely competent.

Nice dick swinging, buddy. I’m certainly impressed and intimidated. Facts are that the average time for intercourse is about 5 1/2 minutes. I posted a few links below. Could the guy do more? Of course, but OP has been down the nagging road, and that didn’t work. If she were a man, we’d tell her to focus on controlling what she can. Something only has value if it’s in short supply. Think of women as a cartel like OPEC. They all agree to limit the supply of “oil” so that they can get the highest return possible on their finite natural resources. Now, let’s say some Venezuelan girl is throwing her “oil” out to every guy in town. The Russian and Iranian girls’ goods suddenly aren’t worth the price they are asking. Slut shaming tries to keep the outliers in line so the whole group has more value.

Most people’s view of redpill / alpha behavior basically boils down to “make money / fuck bitches”. Don’t fall into that shallow thinking. The real heart of it is having a purpose and living out that purpose. Just look at Jesus. He eschewed the approval of men in favor of God’s approval. He CHOSE to live a life of service and poverty - it wasn’t forced on him. He was anything but meek in his dealings with people in power. In fact, he was a straight-up gangster.

I’m on mobile, so Forgive me for the brevity, but I think your starting assumptions are all terribly flawed. Being RP isn’t about hedonism or selfishness and Christianity isn’t about self hate. Look at the hero’s of the Bible and you’ll see some of the most red pilled “bros” to have ever lived. You don’t have to spin plates to be RP. What you need is a healthy perspective of your purpose in life and the role that a woman plays in that purpose.

Hey man, as a parent, all I can say is that you should do your own thing, but cut your parents some slack. They’re doing what they know, and all of their fuckups and bad vibes come from ignorance, not malice. It looks like they are immigrants, but even if they aren’t, they’re just acting based off what they know. That sounds miserable. There are lots of six figure jobs out there if you are willing to put in the work up from to get yourself quailed to do them. If you go back to school, do something hard. Challenge yourself, put in the hours, and kick ass. But most importantly, be smart about debt. It’s ok to make a leveraged investment in your future, but it needs to be a smart investment.

Your video applies to kids who stay in poverty. A healthy newborn baby in a clean cut adoption will have dozens of families lining up to raise it in the suburbs and send it to college. Middle class Americans are spending $20k + to fly to Asia and Africa and adopt babies no strings attached. Other people do years of foster parenting just to have the chance to adopt. You dodged a bullet for sure. Much better now than 7 years from now when she's banging some bartender and walking out the door with half your savings. But good for you for turning to TRP, because she was basically telling you that's exactly what you need to do. Sounds like you need to spend some time reflecting on yourself and then make a plan to fix it.

I've got a cousin who slays. He's a great looking guy and has his own business, so that obviously helps. But he swears that the killer move is to be on a couch making out a while with music on. He stands up and puts his hand out like he wants them to get up and dance. Then when she puts her hand in his, he picks her up over his shoulder and physically carriers her to the bedroom. Sounds a little rapey to me, but he swears it's near 100% successful.

Sounds like mission accomplished. If you want to do anything else, my son really enjoyed Gracie Bullyproof. The make it a progressive series of games you play with your kid. By the end, they know enough BJJ to get a kid to cry uncle. The upside is that using BJJ keeps them from having to hit a kid, which could obviously land them in trouble at school.

I feel like posts like these should be accompanied by a bio and pics. Most guys have probably had the emotions your feeling toward women at some point, but I think that the vast majority of guys are able to have productive and enjoyable relationships with women. If you're feeling this much angst, then at some point you've got to ask yourself what it is about YOU that keeps making you feel this way. Do you work in a low skill field or run in a social circle that attracts lazy and uneducated femal…

First of all, don't base your standard of success and happiness on something that you read on the Internet. What are YOUR goals? If it's to get validation by banging a bunch of sluts, then you're probably doing it wrong. Reaching some imaginary TRP ass quota isn't going to be a happiness pill.

I don't think so. I've made good male friends through real-world hobbies. Pick something, anything, and there is bound to be a community of like-minded people who are also into it. For you, I'd say get off the internet and live your life. I get the impression that you're setting a standard for yourself based on what you see online. At the least you seem to be striving for external goals. The 'cure' isn't to go have crazy experiences. It is to enjoy and make the most the life you have. You're young, you have a great girlfriend, you're healthy. Sure, always strive for improvement, but you can't be sad because your life up until now hasn't been some TRP internet ideal. Fuckin…

Ever eat a hamburger or a steak? Chances are it was a castrated steer. Castration ensures that only the chosen few males get to breed and results in better and more consistent tasting beef. I assume it's the same with hogs. Edit: castration can be surgical, with rubber bands that cut off the blood, or even by hormones that wreck the balls.

Remember that success breeds complacency. Just set long term self-improvement goals and don't lose focus. If I've learned anything in my 10 month journey, it's that the monster never goes away. It's been pushed into a closet, but it pushes back on the door and peeks out looking for an opportunity to come out again. Short-term success can't be your measure of effectiveness. The monster still lurks just behind that door. You're going to naturally slack off as the problems fade into the back of you…

Have a couple of boys and a couple of girls. It's fascinating to me how my 4 kids are so different. I had two boys before my daughter was born, so she slept in truck pajamas in a neutral room, watched boy TV, had access to a shit ton of boy toys, etc., and she turned out as girly as they come. She's tough, but she's a total priss. Way more girly than my wife was or is. Then along comes my 4th kid, and I think that he's going to be ruined because my daughter thinks the new baby is hers and dotes …

I'd say that if you want kids anyway, 30 is indeed a good time start. Especially if you want more than one. I don't see any problem with it so long as you're progressing with your basic 5x5 compound lifts. Do those first and then add some extra "isolation exercises" at the end of the workout. The gainz fairy won't skip your house if he sees you doing some preacher curls.

Of course what you're saying is pretty much the standard for fitness plans, but my own personal experience has been different. My fitness and physique improved significantly when I moved from 3x / week to 5x / week without any overtraining downsides.

in both you can make some really great newb gains right out of the gate, but then it becomes a grind to keep eking out tiny little improvements over time. The successful people are the ones who don't give up or just lose focus.

As others have said, lift heavy and take a pill. No shame in that. I'd try that for a while before I went to testosterone. Sometimes I think you just need to break the cycle and get your confidence back up. I'm 37 and I've used to get out of a temporary slump before, and still use it occasionally when I'm in the mood for an extended session. Besides keeping it at full mast, I find that I can last longer on Viagra. I also last longer in subsequent sessions, but i think that just goes back to havi…

I think this is generally true. I've seen it in sports, academics, and work. Guys seem to be able to take "tough love" criticism much better than women. Women tend to internalize it and it affects their emotions. With that said, some guys will get upset, but they are typically the hot-headed egocentric prema Donna types. Source: I've never seen a guy cry when criticized.

Have you read and internalized MMSLP? Stay or go, you need time to improve yourself before you can expect anything positive to come from "dread level 9.25". Stick it out awhile to lift and improve your style. Your confidence will be higher and you'll either turn your marriage around or put yourself in a much better spot to hit the ground running when it does end. Personally, I plan on lifting and running my MAP for 1 full year before I declare this whole experiment a success or failure.

Key Points: Distinctions in masculine and feminine roles are ordained by God as part of the created order, and should find an echo in every human heart Adam’s headship in marriage was established by God before the Fall, and was not a result of sin The Fall introduced distortions into the relationships between men and women. In the home, the husband’s loving, humble headship tends to be replaced by domination or passivity; the wife’s intelligent, willing submission tends to be replaced by usurpat…

I imagine that most every activity has a small subculture of people who bond and hangout outside of just doing the activity. Case in point: I moved to a new city about 13 years ago not knowing anyone, and found that my new house was close to a bike trail. I started riding my bicycle on the trail - usually solo. When I was in decent shape I started doing organized weekly group road biking rides where I met lots of people. Then I started racing, where I met more people. Then I joined a "team" wher…

I hunt in the fall. During the spring and summer I like to shoot and ride road bikes (but not at the same time). By the way, cycling is a great way to meet people who will have a generally positive impact on your life. Most bike shops have organized rides on Saturdays. Once you get in shape, you can start doing some racing just for fun, and then that opens up a whole subculture of fit, positive, and cool people.

You can do cardio AFTER your workout, but Mehdi from Stronglifts discourages doing it on REST days. You may be able to get away with it when you are just starting out with lite weights, but I think your recovery will suffer as the weights increase. Adding 15lb / week to your squat requires a good bit of recovery - especially as you are reaching the end of your linear progression. With all that said, keep lifting hard, but keep your focus on cutting weight. I've gone through periods of indecisive…

Yes 100%. Knowing what I know now, I just would behave differently during those early years of marriage. That was the time when we where we were starting to have kids and I was quickly becoming a full-on beta bitch. What I definitely would change is my behavior with girls PRIOR to marriage. My dating life would have been a lot more interesting if I'd known and applied TRP principles. Edit: Christian with a wife who was raised in probably the least feminist family in America. YMMV.

Lot of good advice from this guy. I did 4-5 months of stronglifts 5x5 in the fall and couldn't get straight in my head if I wanted to focus on strength or fat loss. I'd stop eating and my squats would stall. I'd eat good and then I'd complain because I wasn't losing fat. I'm restarting after an injury now and I'm going to run a calorie deficit and just let my lifts stall if it comes to that. I think I'll be happier with the results.
