Join the military and get out with full benefits. My rent is paid and I have free education/medical.

My back and knees hurt sometimes tho.

do you have a job now? do you have experience? I'm guessing no to both, so go apply everywhere you can. Look into working at a more expensive, upscale restaurant. You'll probably start as busboy or host, but you can work up to waiting tables or bartending. Both of which will help improve your communication skills, and give you potential to earn enough money to provide for yourself.

Another avenue would be sales. I sold gutters and siding door to door when I was 16. Money wasn't great, but I learned how to talk to people very well, very quickly. Many sales positions are commission only, so a business would really have nothing to loose by giving you a shot. Get a resume together and list some of your interests, hobbys, and some classes you've taken in high school. Start volunteering for a few hours on weekends and put that on the resume too. You'll meet people, get experience, and giving back will give you a bit of fulfillment as well.

Get your body right. Hit the gym, start eating well. You're still super young so it's a great time to build healthy habits that will persist through your entire life. Find a local gym with a bench, squat rack, and free weights. Start with StrongLifts 5x5, and throw in some cardio every other day. Track what you eat, so you can determine how much you need to eat each day inorder to loose X amount of weight. MyFitnessPal is great for this. /r/Fitness is also a great resource. Make this one of your primary hobbies.

it may sound silly but lookup youtube videos on everything you are concerned about . When i moved in to my first place hearing others tell stories about their first apartments helped me realize i could od it and be comfortable with doing it . If you want to lose weight I recommend going to the keto reddit and reading up or take a look at the loseit reddit. they both offer tons of motivation and good reading sources. starting looking for decent areas to live, padmapper.com was invaluable to me for helping me find a place.

Lastly google is your friend we live in an age where you can learn ANYTHING and I mean anything with a few clicks of a button . if something is stressing you out , google it and see what others have to say about doing it or watch a tutorial that says how to do it . Do this for everything you want to know . I googled how to get a money order, how to put postage correctly on an envelope, any and everything .

You can do it you just have to b ready to digest a chunk of new knowledge . IT may seem scary but I would have LOVED to have had a place of my own when I was 18 . Especially if my parents were helping to pay for it .
