Women (and men) with such difficult expectations may have avoidant attachment, and therefore are essentially chasing after the “perfect person” that does not exist. For reasons explained by attachment theory, this allows them to avoid intimacy. 1	For the women who say "a person's past shouldn't matter with regards to who they had sex with", would you be fine dating/marrying a man who slept with dozens of prostitutes before he met you, provided he got tested and was fully clean? Why or why not? Men can’t be tested for HPV (of which there are hundreds of variants). Granted, many sex workers prefer to use protection, so the risk would be fairly minimal depending on the rate of protection.
