Because it usually correlates with being egotistical and insufferable. Men aren't interested in degrees. We can't sleep with them. The friendly 28-year-old barista is a better LTR option than this lady.

Today's education is often indoctrination. No one is out there discussing trigonometry or teaching theory on a date. It is meaningless to actual aspects of romance.

We can't sleep with your degree. It is meaningless. You can't bear us children. Biologically, she is worthless. Companionship isn't worth all the risks she brings.

As someone who spent too many years in that thought process, it is absolutely the rationale. Blame years of media and female figures in a man's life telling him that he will win in the end.

Well yeah, movies thrive on excitement. Every day life isn't exciting and thus not good material for a movie. Modern people struggle with that. Hence the high divorce rate. No marriage can be high excitement every day.

It is a fancy term to camouflage sexual desire. "I only have sex with people that I have a deep emotional connection with." Sure you do. And I am sure many of them establish quick deep emotional connections when a Chad walks in the room.

"Women frequently say they want guys like Nicholas, while mostly picking dudes like Bernard." That is where most of the anger and frustration comes from for men. They say they went vanilla but they really desire triple chocolate. If they were upfront about saying hey I crave the excitement of triple chocolate over the steady and safe vanilla, the anger wouldn't be there. But when men hear a woman talk about how she just wants a good and kind man but then she rejects those men for the polar oppos…

I was fed the same advice. It sounds good and once upon a time actually worked but the whole dynamic changed. Marriageable traits simply aren't desired by women in their 20s any more.

She tried the jerk route for two decades and now realized that is a dead end. Chad won't commit to anything longer than a pump and dump. All her friends have husbands and children so she needs them too to maintain social credit. After all, she is still in decent shape and her friends certainly don't want her around at social events. Married women can't stand single women hanging around.

That is the red pill that has opened many eyes. It was mine. I was told by a lady that I was 3rd on her list for when she turned 30. I was shocked. Then I cut contact with her. It was a gut punch but if I didn't face reality I would have spent 7-8 more years chasing to no avail.

There are several widowed couples at my church. They are also in their 80s. They are clearly dating for companionship and not sex or marriage. Outside of that, there is no reason to do so.

These stories display why western society is falling apart. The fiancé followed the societal playbook. He played it the right way and it all means nothing since Slutty Susie ran into Yearbook York. Her behavior used to be discouraged by society. Now it is applauded. Yet folks wonder why men are opting out of the marriage market. Men marry for love. Women marry for resources.

I imagine it is because the guy is such a stud. She probably probed the concept of marriage to him and received negative feedback. She knows if she pushes it, he disconnects the relationship. But he is such a prize that she keeps hoping if she sticks around that he will change his mind. Or she didn't want to commit yet due her prime years in case something "better" came around. Open communications from her end would solve the problem.

Men don't want complicated in their women. We get enough of that crap at work and outside the house. The last thing we want is to come home and deal with dumb games and drama.

It is the one area where even modern women want traditionalism. They want the baby daddy to man up and do the right thing. Well, that was eliminated when they threw away the whole structure.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen10/02/22 05:56 PM

It is. But the general idea is that a man can become a father regardless of age while a woman simply can't. That is the privilege. Of course, I am not sure why any woman would want to have children in their elderly years. But I suppose like anything, it is about having the option to do so.
/r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen10/02/22 05:46 PM

It dissolved because of feminism pushing the strong, independent woman narrative, the growing acceptable of out of wedlock births, religion no longer being deemed important or religious figures demanding strict adherence to the rules, and the gradual removal of fathers from the family. Now Daddy Government is the father.

That is a good point. Opponents claim that we are bitter and broken because it is a good way to shift the blame unto us. I can't say I am mad at any former girlfriends or potential love interests. I laugh more at their blatant excuses and hypocrisy. Getting mad at someone who probably forgot about me within 10 days isn't worth it. You are only hurting yourself.

Typical modern woman. She thinks that sex alone is enough to seal the deal on a relationship. Well, thanks to free love, causal sex, and rampant feminism, it isn't. If sex were a currency, its value is lower than the mark during the Weimar Republic. The guy in question obviously can obtain sex from her on demand. Why play the relationship game then? Because it is the "right thing to do?" Relationships were formed around the concept that each partner pledged exclusive sex privileges to each other…

Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free? Men aren't vending machines of commitment where women can insert sex tokens and receive a relationship. She keeps hooking up with him. That is on her. Saying no isn't hard. What she really wants to know is how do I lock down this guy?

"Spiritual" is the classic on the fence answer. Saying atheist is a deal breaker if she is looking to hook a church beta. But at the same time, she doesn't want to say a specific religion in case some desirable guy isn't religious. Plus, spiritual is the new flavor of the month on social media. It doesn't have that pesky dogma (i.e. rules. The horror!) of religion.

30 really plays a mind game with them. The softball coach at my college was hired before her 30th birthday. She was vocally adamant about her career and not having a kid. Turns 30 or 3 (I forget) and then she is pregnant with the due date being at the end of the season. Some older female at the school didn't understand why the change in attitude and why the coach didn't pick a better due date. All she had to do was have sex with with him a few times and she had it made. An act that she had done hundreds of times with other men. Obviously, she shouldn't have jumped on the carousel in the first place. But she still almost pulled it off. It sucks to hell for any guy to realize that the women who supposedly loves you enough to marry won't have sex but to realize that she had no problem sharing the gold with the college boyfriends must burn. How hamulating.

I have no doubt that one of those friends was jealous that a former party girl companion was able to land a millionaire. I am sure her hamster was repeating "she was just as dirty and depraved as you! Why should she land that wallet!" And when the fiancé asked the question that opened the door. That is what does make me laugh when some men blame Disney for the unrealistic standards. It hasn't happened yet (but I am sure the film will come soon) but all the romantic leads are beautiful, young women. There hasn't been any movies where a fat hag has obtained the young stud. I agree that the company does inflate romance but it does so in such escapist fantasy fashion. It is a complete fantasy world. Not our world with a touch of magical realism.

It is. The definition about the term nice guy always seemed to be in flux. Women have added the angry and entitled parts to justify their decision making. Admitting that they cast aside good guys for attractive assholes reflects poorly on themselves. Women are about status. They can't be the innocent angel if they are admitting they lust for the devil. Thus, it is more convenient to pin all the blame on the nice guy. He is just a fraud who thinks holding doors and giving flowers entitles him to …

"Somehow got pregnant twice" Yeah, she was just walking in the garden and got pregnant by the Pregnancy Fairy. She is a menace! Let's be real here. She is tired of being a wife. All of her friends are bragging about what new stud they are sleeping with each weekend and she is stuck at home with the same old penis. Her body has changed due to having two kids so she resented her husband for that. She has a set-up that plenty of women would love to have. And it is not enough. Opt out, boys.

They weren't hot enough. In the old days, the woman who wasn't hot made up for it by having a pleasant personality and being a good cook. She would find a husband. People tend to teach you as you allow yourself to be treated. If you are a pushover, you will be treated as such. If you act like a sex toy, you will be treated like a sex toy. Is it right? That is not the point. You set the boundaries on your interactions with people. She is treated like a sex toy because she left men treat her like a sex toy. She never said no (well to Beta Billy she did) to Chad. She earned her outcome.

Well, you reap what you sow in this world. No sympathy for her. She had something many women would want: a dedicated man and she threw him away for $35 on OnlyFans. Now she wants sympathy from Reddit and a way to ensnare some poor sap. In the olden times, she would be banished from society. This is the outcome of tolerating debauchery. Noticed how she put air quotes about married. Why? You are either married or you are not. Me thinks, she is in a long term relationship or engaged and the dude fo…

There is nothing wrong with having some core standards. The dating scene would be better if more women had them. But this goes beyond reasonable. That is lame reasoning. You give them $15 for being crappy at their jobs and they are just going to say that they will need $20 to be good at their jobs. I worked at a CFA. We cared about doing our best. Other places are always making errors. $15 per hour is crazy and what people don't get is that raising the minimum wage will just raise everything else. We need to get inflation under control. Not pay people crazy high money for a teenager's job.

In my time in the RP/MGTOW, I have seen very little women hating. It is mostly just average men exhausted and wondering what happened to the world. If she is truly interested in finding a man, she would be open to any kind of date. Really, first time dinner dates are often awkward especially if there is no connection. When women reward macho behavior, men will adapt. When you reward single motherhood, women will embrace it. Humans tend to go for the easiest solution regardless of morals and ethics. And since the concept of absolute morality has been constantly attacked as outdated in your society, surprise, surprise, that everything goes has become the accepted currency. “Morality, like art, consists in drawing a line somewhere.” GK Chesterton

Your story reminds me of a post I saw on Reddit about how a boyfriend who made $190k went on a vacation with her girlfriend who made $45k. Their relationship was always 50/50 on spending but she wanted the vacation to be fully funded by him. Reddit/Twitter saw him as the bad guy. The indoctrination is strong.

When people ask for you to be truthful, 90% of the time they don't. (95% for females) They want you to agree with them. I have learned that lesson the hard way. It is amazing watching their faces twist and turn in anger when you are not giving them that validation.

Women approach life like it is the buffet at Golden Corral. They pick and choose the best options and avoid the worst ones. Life isn't a buffet. If you want to be a traditional woman, your dates will be paid for but you can't ride the CC. You settle down and marry young. Yes, you will miss out on having a new guy (penis) every weekend but you will have a devoted husband and kids. Aging won't be painful. If you want to be a new-aged feminist, you will meet tons of guys but once you are washed up …

"Coffee and drinks are for friends not dates." In a world where women didn't for decades use men for free meals I would agree with this statement. But we date in a world where women think nothing of manipulating men and leading them on into paying for $100 dinners. Thus, the coffee date was invented to protect men from those leeches. Don't get mad at men. Be mad at your fellow females for ruining a keystone of dating.

Once romantic feelings enter into a friendship, it either becomes a relationship or the friendship dies.

Back in my tragic bluepill days, I was in the friendzone. I texted this girl all the time. I finally made my move. Got shot down with some lame excuse. Said I was third on her list to marry when she hit 30. Finally through the grace of God and common sense, I realized that I was being foolish. I immediately cut all texting/contact. Never received a single text asking "what happened?" or "are you OK?" You know which is something I would do if a friend of mine suddenly ceased daily contact. They d…

I am all for dream chasing but she is 34. I am sure her genre of choice is pop. Popular music isn't interesting in propping up washed up 34 year old bodies. They have an ample supply of 20 year old starlets to use. 99% of musicians don't graduate beyond the local bar.

I wish I discovered the RedPill back in high school. I was in similar straits as this unfortunate guy with a girl I met in the DCP. Learned the hard way that Disney movies should be relegated to the escapism part of life and not used in real life. Painful lesson but I am the better for it. She told me when she is 30 that I was 3rd on the list to marry. I learned fast then and basically disconnected from her. Don't be anyone's second or third choice. She isn't that special.

Genuine connection and a working, life-long relationships will probably no longer be possible. I'm Christian, but I'm realistic about the situation as well. I'm not going to some church full of single mothers, obese boomer couples that talk about their diets and can't wait to leave each Sunday, and some cigarette-armed pastor that looks like a tech CEO trying to look attractive to all of the single moms and sell a book about how he found God by sitting with his dog on a bean bag. I went to a Catholic school. One of my classmates' mom was pregnant during graduation with their seventh or eighth kid. Great family. Stable and devout. Of course, those are the families we mock. It is funny how Philip Rivers is ruthlessly mocked for having a large family but he is devoted to them and drove one hour to commute to LA over uprooting his family when the Chargers moved from San Diego to LA. Meanwhile, hordes of NFL players have kids out of wedlock but they are admired.
