Fight for 50/50 if you can. It took me a couple years but I did it.

Living in the same house with them is torture. Our lease isn’t up until may 2026 😔

I’m glad you’re almost there brother. The taste of freedom is so sweet after you’ve been dealing with bullshit like that.

Wow brother, I’m sorry you had to go through that. Absolute nightmare shit right there.

I actually think women have an innate skill of being able to hide things like this.

Sometimes I feel like I was on autopilot and just not suspecting it.. in hindsight it was probably happening the whole time. The pain is intense for sure. I console myself in knowing that she will continue the vicious cycle searching for that next high and never being fulfilled.

Yeah I’ve been married twice and peace/sex were never in either marriage.

Brother, I’m going to tell you the cold hard truth. If you start a family with this woman you are in for a world of pain and it will only get worse. Raising kids adds a level of stress on a relationship that nobody knows until they are already in it. Cut your losses while you’re ahead. Focus on yourself, better yourself, improve your value and move on. Let it be a lesson going forward about how cautious you need to be letting a woman into your life. Wishing you the best.

I’m living with my ex until our lease is up and it’s no fun. I watch her get dressed up every night she isn’t working and go out to clubs… comes back looking totally messed up 4-5am. I think I know exactly what is going on out there and watching that from the sideline is torture.

Great update brother. Glad you made it out as best as you could hope for. My current wife and I were married in Colombia and divorce there is easy thankfully.. I’ll be free soon.

I gotta give dancing a try man. I suck at it but there’s never a better time to begin I guess.

Wife is leaving me and one of my recent epiphanies that I wrote on my whiteboard is “believe in yourself because nobody else will”. This girl sounds like trouble brother. Good luck man.

This is exactly right. From my experience once the woman loses attraction it is done. Also… they are VERY good at continuing on in a relationship for as long as needed to negotiate their way out in a stealthy manner. Looking back my wife gave me signs for months or even years that I was clueless about. Now that I am aware I can almost pinpoint the moment where I saw all love drain from her for me. It is sad, but you have to pick yourself up and move on. (Edit spelling)

Remember, the woman should have genuine burning desire for you. You should be something they want and you shouldn’t be spending money or trying to impress them in other ways. I’m just learning this after years of doing it wrong.

This is so true. The darkest part of my life was in a relationship that was toxic. Man being alone is painful but always remember how bad it can be.

Honestly I don’t know why anyone would. Even with the “right” woman it can go wrong at any moment. I remarried after my first divorce and it was the worst decision. We were way more compatible… but she craved constant attention. Didn’t matter that I made decent money … decent lifestyle, doesn’t matter they want more. The next guy gave her attention behind my back. Too bad he doesn’t realize that he’s disposable just like I was. Whatever you have they want more of it and the desire will never be …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
