In the family court jurisdiction in which I reside, actual marriage is basically an irrelevant factor for "divorce" rape if partners have cohabitated for more than 6 months, especially if they have biological offspring together. Given this, I chose to marry my wife because I want the entire family to carry my name. They are my tribe, and simply being "common-law" (as opposed to married) here provides no real legal insulation whatsoever.

I don't care about internet points. If it helps cure my or my sister's or my kids or loved ones future cancer, then it's worth the extra $1.30 on my power bill.

Profitable? This has nothing to do with cryptocurrency.

A month ago I sold my PC. Something I never thought I would ever do. I quit gaming in October, except I've taken a different route, which I would recommend to anyone with the discipline to leave their personal edrug sitting on the counter: Since October, my FLOPS have been grinding not meaningless game progression, but Folding@Home.

We're smart. e're motivated. We're good at a lot of shit. Anyone else find this contextually ironic?

I more see that common connection as evidence of humanity demanding certainty in the absence of evidence, or (historically) considering as evidence that which was merely coincidence. I understand that "the supernatural," by definition, can be neither proved nor disproved. I refuse to accept that anything in our existence is cosmically designed or preordained. For me, becoming closer to god is simply better understanding myself.

Believe it or not religion does have some merit in civilisation. Religion has extreme value "in civilization." That value being the lifelong conditioning of a population for autonomous subjugation. "In civilization," having a majority of the populace primed for obedience greatly simplifies the process of controlling them. All religion depends on the suspension of critical thinking in some way or another. If it is not incompatible with testable and quantifiable reality, then it is simply philosop…

I am wasting all this time stuck in "Monk Mode", lifting, smoking, gaming, jerking off, study, sleep, repeat. This semester, I will continue to work hard on my body and mind Some man hamster in overdrive here. You seem to be misunderstanding the principle of Monk Mode if you're still frequently indulging in mental masturbation (gaming,) neurochemical masturbation (rec drugs,) and literal physical masturbation. Monk Mode as a conceptual process exists to help individuals train their internal mast…

Let’s say a 4 year old child asks you why the grass is green... The best approach for bonding would be a fun story about a rabbit that made it his life’s goal to paint all the grass green because it was his favorite color. If you really wanted to teach the kid something of value, you might name the rabbit Chlorophyll. I don't know about you, but by age 4 I was already really fed up with all the dumbshit patronizing stories or explanations given to typical children by lazy adults.

Could be colloquial equivalent to "rock bottom"? Makes sense in context.

Once something fits correctly, don't put it in the dryer if it can shrink. Buy a drying rack (they aren't just for weed). Can confirm. 6'5" here, only things that ever go in dryer are socks, underwear, and gym clothes.

I think most here can agree that rolls are not curves. There's a huge difference between voluptuous ("curvy") and downright fatty fat.

Obviously others answered about not taking about fight club. But I truly would like to know what you honestly think about Dr Glover’s recomendation and all of the share and share alike stuff between you and your spouse. Don’t you think there should be some line between the two of you ? I'm internalizing the genuine honesty and prioritization of my own needs, and limiting my tolerance for disrespect (fog/aa practice daily.) The lines of communication I'm focused on are expressly between myself an…

BF% is more important than total lean mass within reason. Looking like a strongman who literally swallowed one of the atlas stones will intimidate more than attract, when compared to the typical chiseled "male model" look. If you're a skinny fucker already though, you'll want to gain mass before cutting, otherwise you'll end up looking like the kids in the third world tv charity ads (minus the flies... I should hope...)

Also, I feel like im too talkative. STFU. Words are a resource, to be used mindfully. I wanna change... 17 y/o Better to start now than later. Do what everyone else is saying and start by exhausting the sidebar. Don't stop at the reading either, too many people seem to fall into the trap of illusory (or imagined) change simply by convincing themselves that reading and internalizing information is the only step. You need to do the work.

Second to quinoa, but I usually cook mine in low sodium chicken or vegetable stock. I find using the soup stock instead of water really ups the flavor.
