Hey, I've been in a few similar situations to this where I started to really enjoy talking with someone i reconnected with from my past and then followed the exact same pattern. Absolutely. I dont know about you, but at some point growing up I just assumed that I should never even get a girl close to saying "no" because it might offend or upset her, but when nothing ever happened I was always the one left feeling upset or regret. From now on, I let everyone make their own decisions. I shouldn't aim to protect the feelings of others at the expense of my own--it's time to speak my mind and act on my instincts.
