You're wrong. 30 years of deregulation has lead corporations taking control of govt. The welfare state is a symptom, not the cause of this current economic mess. The reason Hitler was popular was because he was against right wing austerity economics and for govt spending. Roosevelt go the US off the gold standard and which allowed govt to engage in deficit spending, which helped save the US economy. Get that thru your thick skull, fool. Govt spending does not equal govt being in everyday life.
