Makes me think of the history of viagra. Look it up, its very interesting and pretty disturbing.

Nope. Not everyone has a higher power they believe in, I do so in the terms of me, I cannot fathom why something of such superiority to me would give enough F's about humans lives, let alone the love interests of humans, to bother with something so very silly. That isn't a gut feeling, that's endorphins making you feel nice. Its temporary. If you really wanna know, see if either of you feel that way a few years in. Can those chemical reactions stand the test of time? Can his personal character a…

So is it hard for them to get laid or not? Cause if they are cheating it seems pretty freaking easy to get some. But they cry its so difficult. They can never pick a battle. And NO the bare minimum of not being a piece of crap human being does not deserve any sort of celebration. It is the very minimum expectation to not cheat when agreeing to be in an exclusive relationship.

We don't. The rhetoric is a lie. And i agree, been at that point for awhile now. And they just want to be with people with a slave personality that they can take advantage of. Its about being control and power. Most people are absolute trash. Just complete and utter garbage. It's very discouraging.

They would be if they are not satisfied with themselves and are seeking external validation. If they don't know how to satisfy themselves. If the end goal was a partner. You don't have to date to know yourself and what makes you happy. And, to clarify, i don't think dating is inherently bad. I've dated quite a bit, had good and bad relationships. I'm currently in the best relationship I've been in but I still feel like it's settling for extra work with less results. So for me, the not dating thi…

Just don't date. It is always settling. Hit the gym and level up that career. Save and invest all that money. Move out of country far before retirement. Stop doing for others.

The ugly ones are most likely to betray you. Simply because they have this idea in their head that something is owed to them from society or some crap. The problem is they have never had any attention, so now they want it all and they convince themselves that they deserve it. (Blah blah blah he was rejected, blah blah blah such a betrayal not to be handed shit on a platter.) Never settle. The "safest" choice is an illusion.

This dude is subtly letting you know he sucks. Believe him. None of those things he did/said sit right with me. He's full of creep vibes. Also someone is down voting posts pointing that out. We have a lurker.

Never accept it. My in laws to be are crappy to me and I will not deal with them. My spouse supports this 100% and any less would be a deal breaker. If they want to, they will.

I love how self aware she is that she can recognize the game he is playing. She is trying to second guess herself but she hit the nail on the head. And as we all should know, If they wanted to, they would. No excuses.

Even intact families are worrisome. The misogyny runs deep and usually depends on the wife being a doormat and slave.

I'm super sketch about it. I'm usually the bread winner so all those "benefits," I don't see them as benefits. FDS has opened me up more to the possible benefits of it and I'm open to considering it with a prenup. I mean, I'm not the breadwinner in this relationship but it is pretty comparable. And I've had too many people try to drain me dry and while I do not get those red flags from my SO, I do not trust anyone. Vet, vet vet, always. You gotta protect yourself and your assets.

Then she better run now if she's ever going to save it for herself. She's gunna lose a lot more in the long run, fighting with a bad partner, than actually investing in herself.

They are taught that anything that isn't servitude is "a lot" and they should be guilty for not slaving. It's deep rooted BS and they legit feel like they aren't good enough to be around less than the bare minimum. It's honestly, a bit heart breaking. Women are slowly waking up though, so silver lining.

She's wrong about the one crap. Soulmates and the one concept is all bullshit. But! Anyone can change, this is true as a basic thing we are all capable of. From me to me? I'd tell myself not to date and to go to therapy. But at 21 I was freshly escaping a very abusive marriage. I don't think I was ever 110 lbs lol, puberty hits hard in my family. And I agree, most people in general have no idea what a healthy body or even healthy habits are. We need a better education system 😭 I really feel like it would solve so much if we actually educated people on real life.

I get the mentality. I just find it so crazy cause my mom is also 5'3" and is losing weight and her big time goals is 160 which seems totally reasonable to me (and she looks and feels good at) but then media would be like "oh no she's killing herself with her fatness!!" 🙄

I was already in a major shift in my life, FDS has solidified the beliefs I already had but had been falling away from and had been helping me coping with my anger about things I let myself experience because I hadn't come to terms with being alone. Even though it is a dating strategy, it has helped massively in coming to terms that I will be alone for the rest of my life. It has been helping me clarify everything I want for myself so I can take concrete steps towards them. It entertains me. It …

I have consistently worked out 3-4 x a week for the longest timeframe in my life. I have quit FB and most other social media and the effect to my mental health is huge! I don't want to anymore is such a valid reason. That is it, "I don't want to." Don't be surprised if he accuses you of banging or talking to other dudes, it is common for them to do. Keep on walking with your head held high and do not take anything he says to heart. Even the "but I love you so much" bs, disregard it. None of it is true.

Same here. But one thing I realised, going over the handbook, a few times, is the not dating and working on yourself IS apart of the handbook. It is all about self growth and boundaries anyways.

I went on a trip once with my best friend and was gone for 2 weeks. A natural disaster happened and I was stuck longer then expected. I never wanted kids. I used condoms and, even 9 years later, I'm convinced he poked holes into. I support abortion, but it's something I wasn't sure I could go through with, so I kept my kid. While, I love her, absolutely, if I could go back I would force myself to get an abortion and never marry. Majority of my issues stem from that marriage and the pregnancy and I'm pretty sure I will never get over what happened. Well, speaking from experience, I am much less likely to be hired if I go into an interview with no makeup on. Figured that out pretty quick, so I wear makeup for the first week of a new job then stop. I don't like wearing makeup much. I don't think it should effect us in a grand scheme of things, but it does.

Absolutely not. I'd hide all the razors in the house so his GF wouldn't be able to shave either. And just keep doing it everytime she bought more. My ex husband was adamant about armpit hair being shaved. Didn't happen. I don't shave much, because F you. No justification needed. Don't like it? Don't look. Actually, don't look even if you do like it.

Scrolling through the comments was horrifying. A lot of "women are hypergamous and have impossible standards. It's a scientific fact," "I do see women as objects," "women don't have diverse taste but men do," "There is no evidence women are free thinking humans." What? I can't even imagine what would happen if these people actually encountered a real challenge in life. Their biggest problem is they can't get laid, and they want to hurt us and dehumanize us? From what I gather, being a HVW also means putting value in yourself past these things. It is more about what you want in your life and not letting anyone stop you. This thread is more specific to dating and those end goals but that doesn't mean everyone here has those exact goals. I have no plans to date any time, at all but these values really resonate with me in most aspects of my life.

I've had 3 really great partners, but one of those was porn sick and ended up turning the bedroom games into a nightmare. Of the other two, one was an occasional fling with very clear boundaries and the other was my ex husband. Though, thinking back my ex husband did say some very weird stuff about his supposed skills that always bothered me, but was very very generous.
