Lots of men are selfish partners and don't understand the give/take dynamic of sex. You say it yourself With the new girl, I fully believe it. I've been the only guy to make this girl ejaculate. Also, at 8 months dating, she is always initiating sex, not myself. Anytime we hang, she is the one assuming we'll be having sex when I'll just want to chill sometimes. Women remember the sex that they enjoyed with a partner willing to listen to them and actually satisfy their sexual desires instead of a…
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/24 06:13 PM

I mean, does anyone ever get over that? I still remember my best sex. But, there's a reason we're not together right now. I was part of her rebellious phase since her parents didn't want her to be with me and wanted her to marry someone specific. I don't miss her nor do I miss that sex. I wouldn't compare her to anyone else I'm with in the future.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/24 05:53 PM

Yeah but that was the issue. She didn't want to just be fucked, she wanted someone to stick around. She was interested in me but I couldn't reciprocate it. She was just too big for me, I wasn't attracted to her. We were friends because she was actively trying to get with me but I told her from the start that I wasn't interested in anything romantic with her. Lots of guys would gladly fuck her but they'd be embarrassed to be seen with her in public. NGL, I'd be embarrassed too. That's not the adm…

Women sympathize with fattie women No, they don't lmfao. Women pity the fuck out of fat women or they're actively hostile to them. Most of the fat women I knew said that the women in their lives are dish out the most devious cracks about their weight at their expense. I had one friend I'd visit from time to time. Her mother would literally say " Of course ya'll aren't dating. She's a huge fat fucking cow. Not even a dog would fuck her big fat ass" Right in front of her. She was pushing 300lbs.

/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 09:15 PM

You don't need porn to stroke your meat, bro.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/24 09:15 PM

Man, please go touch grass. Women's demands are not nearly as high as those street interview channels claim they are. Some women will sleep with anyone with a pulse.

Isn't it good to have moderate opinions? I would assume most no-pill users touch more grass than both sides combined. but given your nature you'll just refute every argument put forward by either side Not OP but there's some RP and BP takes here that I agree with. Some RP or BP takes are from chronically online losers. RP dudes treat attraction like a spectrum and desperately want to be on the hot side of it. BP dudes are white knights and BP women think that all women are mentally stable and de…

I think you're thinking too deeply into it. Sending a nice message isn't playing into her trap or something. Dating apps aren't a convoluted scheme for women to extract validation from men and provide nothing in return. If you're too prideful to send a woman a nice message, then you probably shouldn't be on dating apps. Just send a message. If she responds, cool. You're just as bad as those "if he wanted to, he would" women. Just fucking send the message and get off your high horse. It's not tha…
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/24 02:17 PM

I think you hit the nail on the head here. I never thought of it that way. There's at least three/four degrees of separation between us so I can tell all of my friends and show her off and no one will recognize her. No worry about getting caught. Damn, that's slick.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 09:20 PM

50/50 is just me being hyperbolic. It's just my experience with it. I usually don't cold approach but the few times I have had resulted in me just becoming someone's affair partner. So, I just kinda stopped. I usually know for certain that if a woman approaches me in a non-social setting they're basically guaranteed to be cheating. Cold approaches are lame anyway lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 09:07 PM

With the exception for cheaters, of course Learned quickly that there's a solid 50/50 chance that a cold approach that worked is just a woman looking to cheat. I got my heart broken by a girl I cold approached because she told me like 3 months in after several amazing dates that she was fucking engaged.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 08:36 PM

My bad. I don't even do that IRL. I don't even call or refer to by women the B word makes me feel like an ass. I never meant to refer to women as hoes. Ya'll are welcome here. Good on you for recognizing it, albeit belatedly. Thank you.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 07:42 PM

It's not even what we want to. My life is not very good but I have no desire for emotional support from some guy I attended college with for 3 or so years. This is really sad to read. The male friends in my life were basically my foundation for where I'm currently at. There's so much to glean from those interactions that I couldn't imagine disregarding them. It sucks that some men are so obsessed with partnering that they'll just completely forgo male-male friendships believing friendship that d…

The issue with this is that you'll never find like-minded people if you don't try. However "unique" you think you are, there are probably 10 dudes you'll pass in the street just like you. People are rarely ever truly unique and that's a great thing. It means there are tons of other potential friends for all of us. It sounds like you have a lot of positive social interactions, but imagine how it might be to constantly feel like you’re failing every social interaction. That would make you feel pre…

And those women have the same response to physically attractive men with a strong sexual identity. Wait what do you mean by this?

That honestly has to fucking suck and that's what I was trying to get at. I've met a lot of women that just do certain hobbies and interests in private because men gatekeep the fuck out of everything. It's wild because I've never been gatekept out of a like book club. If I read and I'm interested in the same stuff they're interested in, they're totally fine with me being there and hearing me out. If anything, dudes are the ones making fun of me for joining a club full of women as if it puts my m…

Jesus, the last place I'd be posing as a "cool guy" would be this sub. I'm already getting flamed because I suggested that small talk is how you make friends. best flex for a guy is to show disrespect towards women. other guys won't respect him otherwise. IRL you'd be telling the truth. Men do make subtle disrespectful jabs at women even their partners. "Women, amirite" or something to that effect. I don't fuck with that but that's how men are, unfortunately. That wasn't what I was getting at wi…

“i don’t. get it. I live a social life and surround myself with social people. Therefore what you’re saying is wrong.” No, if you're lonely but actively refuse to go the normal route of meeting people then you're not lonely. You're either depressed and need help or you're actually complaining about something different under the guise of loneliness.

my gripe with your post is that you think men who don't socialize don't count. Where in my post did I disqualify asocial men? You socialized with 3 extrovers, cool, awesome, but most men aren't like that. Most men aren't able to maintain small talk? If that's truly the case (I don't think that's the case) then men really need to improve because there's no way that your average man can't hold a conversation for fucking 20 minutes. You don't need to be a super charming extroverted conversationalis…

I'm opposing the idea that men somehow socialize less than women and that the male loneliness epidemic and the subsequent arguments made from it are born out of men's inability to socialize. I don't agree that men are more asocial than women. I just think that the complaints about how men are more asocial than women or that we've lost communal spaces to meet people and mingle are truly just men complaining that it's harder to meet women. You’re saying there’s plenty of social things to do but th…

But, it was a 30-minute conversation that I thoroughly enjoyed and laughed at until I died during it. It was fun as hell and I came out of it feeling better than I did going into it. I had a meaningful conversation with someone that I've never seen before and likely will never see again. My point is that men are capable of socializing and having lots of fun doing it even if they hardly know each other. What we were talking about was meaningless but that doesn't mean that the experience was meani…

It's good social practice to make conversation but thats all. That's an extremely reductive way of viewing small talk. At that point, I don't think you're viewing social interactions through a healthy lens. People aren't opportunities and even those small interactions can stay with people forever. Those small talks can be very valuable if you just choose to see them that way. If you refuse to see something like small talk as valuable, you'll struggle to make friends because no one will have a su…

I guess? I don't have trouble meeting women. I'm fine. I'm mostly referring to how men complain that there aren't enough places to meet women organically outside of dating apps or bars. But, they scare women out of male space by doing dumb shit and treating them like outsiders.

Yo it's a joke. Holy shit you guys are prudes. I wonder why you don’t socialise around women much When did I even say I don't socialize with women or have trouble with it at all? The ad hominem goes crazy here.

I never said that it wasn't. Getting there just means doing lots of small talk but there's hardly any rejection involved in getting to know people. You just do it and it works or it doesn't. Maintaining friendships is an effort, especially as an adult but if you're lonely I don't see how it's not a worthwhile effort. It's difficult but it's not impossible and you'll probably meet a bunch of decent people along the way. I don't see the issue.

I might not qualify as wealthy but I'm in the 95th percentile for my wage in my age range. I'm not working at McDonald's. I would hesitate before dating a woman who works at McDonald's. Not because her job makes her worthless because IMO a job is a job as long as it pays the bills. My issue would be her being with me for the wrong reasons and not being able to pull her weight in our relationship. Also, her being with me for money and living a lifestyle that she can't afford (obviously). If I wan…

Yes, but that's how you meet people. You small talk until you find a mutual interest and build it from there. For most dudes, it's sports or some sort of mutual hobby. I usually made friends that were into some of the stuff I find myself interested in or just people with similar career goals. I've had friends that I just vibe with and we build it from there even though we have virtually nothing in common.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/24 05:40 AM

I'm at the height just before I'd need to bend to get through most doors. I hit my head in public a lot. I can walk onto subways and other trains/buses without bending down but it's a tight fit. My kneecaps are basically fine dust at this point. I haven't taken a bubble bath since I was like 10 lmao. If I was a few inches taller I might consider it. I know someone 6'7 and he basically needs to bend to get through everything. Sounds like an awful life ngl.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/24 01:16 AM

This is lowkey terrifying. My ex told me that all of my exes probably still have pics of my cock and I vehemently rejected it because I asked who the fuck would actually keep their ex's nudes. I have my answer.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/24 01:07 AM

I was basically a reject. I was on the spectrum, had other speech issues that I wasn't getting help with, and just didn't really know how things worked and no one was helping me with it and my parents were too busy divorcing to care that I was coming home at 10PM. I honestly just got tired of it and just used some of the resources I had at my school to seek help. By the time I was in college, I was in therapy and was actively pulling my life together. Those years sucked but it only got better fr…

Less tbh. The women on dating apps usually aren't nearly as attractive as the IRL women I've pulled.

That doesn't change the fact that it's primarily influenced by how much society hates fat people. Sure, a woman can lose weight but that doesn't change how fat women get treated like shit while they're fat. The point is that men also have rigid standards that are influenced by the opinions of others. It doesn't matter that those things can be changed. Lots of things that set women back that are innate like having no butt, no chest, a large nose, etc. Those things can't be easily changed like wei…

Don't even bother mentioning fat chicks, bro. The dudes in this sub will constantly critique women's selection bias and the whole 80/20 paradigm but outright refuse to date a woman who has a BMI above 20. Men think that women are crazy picky but will reject a woman for being too fat just because she has a slight muffin top. A bunch of dudes are in your replies reinforcing your point. A very small minority of men are genuinely attracted to fat women and among that minority exists an even smaller …
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/24 03:23 PM

Mostly broad generalizations of toxic masculinity without any of the nuance to actually explain how toxic masculinity actually works. E.g., Men think feelings are bad so cry if you need to. Sure, but that doesn't explain anything nor does it help.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 10:36 PM

It is but those cities are extremely diverse. A lot more than just Black people and not everyone was poor. Also, most of the teachers were working class white women.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 09:07 PM

Of course. I think most of the "feminism = women" come from those places. I grew up basically being told that women can do no wrong and that women's attraction is largely based on moral character. Feels silly in retrospect.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 08:54 PM

I grew up in a mega liberal metropolitan. Yes, a lot of that demonization of masculinity and traditional stuff happens there. A lot of liberal women push that narrative heavily, especially directly to children in schools and such. I grew up being told directly by my teachers the evils of masculinity and how being nice to women and learning about feminism (I'm not lying) will help you get women. I'm not surprised that a whole generation of inner-city kids being told that reading bell hooks and ha…

Yeah, I can get behind this. I kinda considered that as well. I've met dudes in college who were dating high schoolers and...they seemed like they were mentally still in high school. Some of them still actively visited their old high school to see their GF. Mad fucking weird but I guess different strokes for different folks, I guess.

If you don't have any gripe with age gap relationships why is this even a topic for discussion? It was a question. Isn't the point of this sub? I'm asking for others' experiences or takes on this matter. Honestly, I'm just gonna keep it a buck. You sound like a dork who, despite all of his criticism of redpillers, isn't all that successful with the opposite sex himself. You think that a relationship is first and foremost a friendship. Honestly, nah. I can date someone I'm not friends with. For me, it has more to do with mutual attraction and mutual respect. I want to know that a woman sees me as more than just a warm body. Being friends doesn't necessarily guarantee that but it's a good indicator of it and, to me, it eventually happens the longer we're together. I've been sexually objectified a lot so it matters to me that who I'm with sees me as a human being …
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 03:11 PM

But again the primary value of a relationship is not a friendship. The primary function of a relationship is to raise children together and enjoy a sexual relationship together. Maybe we see relationships differently because I don't agree with this one, chief.

No problem I didn't want to debate this since I don't have an issue with age gaps and don't have an argument that isn't a personal anecdote. Maybe the message should be avoid people with an adolescent social skill set. I agree with this. I've met some very emotionally immature older women and some pretty damn mature younger women and some arguably very mature younger women. I just get a bit confused when I find out someone my age has a GF roughly 5+ years younger than them. I just remember what …

Maybe you feel like you missed out on the care free young adult stage of your life and want a woman in that mindset, but I’m no therapist. But I don't want a younger woman. I'm asking how men who date younger women even do it. I've been approached by younger women but I struggled to get along with them specifically for that reason. They don't care about anything. I'm usually too boring for those women anyways because I care about shit like debt.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 02:20 PM

Yeah, but that's what I'm asking. How do you hold conversations with younger women? I'm not telling anyone that they shouldn't do it. Just asking how anyone can do it or why you would do it.

Yeah. I got along with a 30-year-old high-school-educated teen mom who worked three jobs. She had a lot of lived experience and it was really interesting to bond with her and here how she gets through it all.

Good point, I should have specified that I'd be friendly with a 21-year-old. I don't think I would just be outright friends with one the same way I'm friends with people my age now that I think about it. I didn't consider it that hard before writing that comment.

Isn’t the common trope that women mature faster than men though? I’m still trying to grasp the issue. Isn't an issue that I'm trying to bring up. I don't have a personal issue with older men dating younger women. I just don't even know how it happens because I can't get along with much younger women. That's why I didn't mean to come off as argumentative. It's an actual question and you and everyone else here mostly answered it. I just think I came off as presumptuous since it's never really work…

I get it. I didn't mean to suggest that they can't bond. I'm more talking about crossing the barrier from bonding to romance I find confusing. I can totally be friends with a 21 year old, I just would be hesitant to date them.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 01:57 PM
3

Nah it doesn't. I was mostly asking how anyone can do it. I think my question came off as argumentative but I'm genuinely asking how it's possible. A 2-3 year gap isn't a big deal IMO. I'm mostly referring to people with 5+ year gaps, especially among women in their early to mid-20s. I know its within everyone's rights, I'm not questioning that. It's more of a why and how question.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 01:51 PM

I'm at a very different stage in life and I've been at this stage for a much longer time than most other people my age. It's hard to get along with a 21-year-old woman who hasn't reached the stage I reached at 17. Same reason that a late-30s or even 40-year-old woman would likely want nothing to do with me. I haven't even reached my 30s yet.

Okay? Normal people don't talk about their traumas or see others as below them for not experiencing them. They talk about the weather, travel, food, hobbies. I'm not referring to trauma bonding, I'm talking about gaps in life experiences and that can affect bonding in romantic situations. Most people date people who are at similar stages in life. Dating outside of those bounds can be tricky. I end up dating women who also have post-grad education and have lived in on their own for some time. I'd…

People who like to fuck each other will actively find commonalities. Crazy, I know. I guess. Maybe I'm being too presumptuous. The thought of dating someone 5+ years younger than me just feels weird and I don't know how anyone is so open to it. I would be willing to be friends and get along. However, I think crossing the boundary into sex or romance would be a very difficult line for me to cross. Clearly, it's not that difficult for the people responding here.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 01:36 PM

Stop listening to the words of angry and bitter women on the internet. I'd wager lots of them are bitter that men don't pursue them. Hence why they're probably on the internet complaining about it in the first place.

A: I agree but I also think that this is an advantage in the sense that lots women just don't bother with rejection by refusing to approach men at all. Sure, this might be a disadvantage since there's a chance that she can't attract men that she actually wants but it's not necessarily an advantage over men who hardly get approached regardless of their level of attraction. They're in the better position and lots of them just remain there that way they never have to deal with rejection. B: I don't…

I guess I never understood this because I'm not a serial dater. I go on maybe ~10 first dates a year max. I'm very selective about who I actually ask out. So, I don't mind paying for everything when I do. Also, I get asked out. So when that happens, she usually pays or at least pays her share.

Yeah, I agree most heterosexual people definitely harbor some resentment towards the other gender. I've had some men and women some things that comes off like "damn, you must be hurt." But, it reaches a whole different level on the internet.

Women lashing out, men lashing out, it's mostly pain. Yeah, I recognize this too. I just never understood how dragging men or women on the internet is cathartic. I don't get where the closure is in that. You end up right back at square one, still angry as hell as when you wrote that long ass post about how much women or men suck. I will say this though, this is not limited to heterosexuals, even if heterosexuals still tend to be the subject. oof do not get me started on how queer communities tre…

Nah there men that definitely hate women. Especially men that are willing to downplay women's suffering and abuse. Most of the men that participate in 2xC just to argue with women and belittle their suffering 100% hate women and literally roam female subs searching for an opportunity to knock them down a peg. That sounds like someone that hates women.

I only don't like having my face up on reddit. I did it before and left the post up for a few weeks. I actually found a guy using my photos on a different post trying to catfish. Great point. I posted in r4r a few times a few years back. Met some very gorgeous women and we clicked instantly. But, almost all of them lived hours, states, or even countries away from me. One woman straight up lived on the other side of the globe. Reddit is just good because there's no location filter. That can work both in your favor and against it.

Man, have you guys actually met women that are into you? I've had women be extremely obvious about their interest. Hot people usually already know that they're hot. They get the validation without all of the sex, they're just treated like their hot in normal everyday interactions. So they don't feel the need to pursue that validation so …

I was immediately accused of wanting a "feminist girlboss utopia where women are forced to work and nobody can live off one income" (despite the fact it'd be optional for use, and available for all moms) I noticed that there's some men here that downright refuse anything that would remotely help women out or give them more agency. I actually agree with your post a lot. Especially your last two points about economy and childcare. Giving people access to opportunities to earn higher wages, accumul…

The study itself is ok and I trust the study's findings. However, I don't fully believe the study was broad enough to make the kind of broad strokes conclusions that many editorials have been gleaning from it. There's a difference between having open-ended discussions around the findings of a study and using the findings study as empirical evidence to substantiate personal opinions, support baseless claims, or just instigate moral outrage. I'm criticizing the discussions around the study and how…

Those men, age 30-49 did not have to deal with rampant online dating comparrisons or issues at all in comparrison to someone born into and immersed within it. They didnt have the same level of competition as they likely dated BEFORE social media was ever a thing, same with the women in thier age bracket. I would agree with you here if women overwhelmingly didn't use OLD. Men still outnumbered by women in OLD sites by an entire order of magnitude and that ratio was arguably worse before the pande…

Yeah I also mostly disagree with Pew's data. I tried approaching it as if it were unanimously true since people were citing it so often here and other places on reddit, youtube, etc. If I were to try to actually debunk the stat I would be getting into the weeds of the actual research and that wouldn't really be a relevant topic for this sub.

And how this is supposed to disprove the 63% - 34%? You're missing the point of my post. I'm not disproving it. I'm debunking/criticizing the discourse around the stat under the assumption that the stat is correct. If I were actually disproving the stat, I wouldn't be posting it here because it would have nothing to do with pills or dating and just raw statistics because I think their methodology is shit.

There are still more men that are single in every age bracket up until men start literally dying from age sooner than women. This is the whole point. The trend literally doesn't shift until men start dying off. The study is basically pointing out the obvious when it suggests that there's more single men than single women. I don't fully agree with the ratios that the study suggests but there will always be more single men until there are less men alive. I don't understand how it's cope to point o…

Those people could not be telling the accurate reason, not everyone is that honest. Sure but that's the risk you run with any survey of this nature. You have to trust that the respondents were mostly honest. Otherwise, the study is useless if you can't trust the results. Some of them could start dating later, naturally, but that largely will depend on how many women will want to settle and if they'll be able to make it work. This is where I think the 30-49 single stat comes in. I personally beli…

Fair enough. I did debate using the word debunking but I just stuck with it for some reason. But, men being more single and more eager than their female counterparts does seem like it's what we can expect. Precisely, I don't think the study is telling us anything we don't already know. I'm more critical of the discourse and moral panic being instigated around the study than anything.

Irrelevant, first one that the study considered MORE than marriage, second that the chance of the whole set of women being picked filled this is minimal. Ngl don't really understand this sentence. I specified marriage because that's the likely goal of getting into committed relationships. If you're not looking for marriage, you likely aren't trying to get serious with anyone. You assume "not actively looking" means deliberately single - not wanting sex or relationships out of personal choice when it could be opposite, the result of being unable to attract anyone or not feeling attractive at all. From the 2019 study, most of the respondents cite that they're too busy with other matters to focus on dating or that they just enjoy being single. There was an actual separate category for people that felt like they wouldn't be wanted. That one the 5th most cited reason. It'…

That's just her ngl. Most ND women I've met are obviously open to dating ND men. ND women understand that lots of people don't fully understand the emotional labor that comes with being them. /r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 06:39 PM

What? When did I say that?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 06:36 PM

I'm a magnet for extractive women because I wasn't raised right. It wasn't until I hit adulthood that I realized how to weed them out but I got used a lot before I learned that women aren't angels and are capable of taking advantage of me. I was raised to believe that women can't do that.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 06:31 PM

But, don't pretend that women are fully capable of being friends with men the way that men are friends with each other. I said "fully" because all women are not capable of being friends with men. I didn't say that it's impossible for women to be friends with men. Two completely different statements. However, I'll concede that the wording isn't that great. I'll amend the post to say "all women" instead of just "women.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 06:22 PM

My title was shit. It should have been ""Women can be friends with men but men can't be friends with women" is bunk." I just didn't expect people to read the title as my thesis. It was just a rhetorical question.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 06:17 PM

but women can make the friendship uncomfortable in others ways, like covertly soliciting attention/validation from him in ways that shouldn't really apply to friends. Men get a bad rap though because they make any romantic/sexual undertones more explicitly, whereas women are fine with going years without acknowledging it. Thank you! I probably worded my post poorly but this is what I'm getting at. I'm just saying that it's a double standard and that men get the bad rep because it involves sex bu…
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 06:13 PM

So, let's go back to my point. I personally think that the whole "women can be friends but men can't" is bunk. I'm pointing out this double standard. Women can also exploit people through the guise of friendship with ulterior motives. Why is it assumed that women are perfectly capable of being friends with men with no ulterior motives and only men enter friendships with ulterior motives? Just because those ulterior motives aren't sexual doesn't negate the fact that they're ulterior.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 06:11 PM

Are you deliberately missing my point? I'm not making any sweeping generalizations about women or men. I'm saying that women don't always understand how male-male friendships work and some women seek to exploit men for various reasons under the guise of being friends. The double standard that I'm pointing out is that this exploitation doesn't involve sex like it usually does for men. My whole point is that the notion of "women can be friends with men but not vise vera" is bunk because women can …
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 06:04 PM

I don’t think those are gendered behaviors, just self absorbed behavior. This is my point. That women can exploit men too. But the notion that "women can be friends with men but not vise versa" is the whole point of my post.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 05:50 PM

Yes but the point of my post was that I disagree with the whole notion that men can't be friends with women but women are capable of being friends with men. Women suck as being friends with men just as much as men suck at it. I'm specifying that some women become "friends" with men for all of the wrong reasons and just seek to exploit them. Or, some women don't understand how male-male relationships function and end up demanding a lot more than men are usually used to providing from a friend. I'…
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 05:49 PM

Bruh. Maybe I didn't word my post right because I'm not suggesting that ALL male-female friendships are like this. I'm saying that there are women often don't know how male-male friendships work and that SOME women seeks to exploit men similarly to how some men seek to exploit women. The difference is that the exploitation that women engage in usually isnt sexual so no one cares. I'm highlighting the doubt standard, not saying that male-female friendships are impossible.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 05:41 PM

I'm primarily referring to the attention and affection that men typically don't give each other in friendships. Women do but that's the whole point. If you know how men function, you'd understand that men don't do that kinda stuff. Thus, you don't know how to be friends with men. See what I'm getting at?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 05:32 PM

I literally mentioned in my post that women don't value male sexual attention but value other forms of affection and validation.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 05:23 PM

The issue is when that treatment is one-sided. I'm ok hanging out frequently and texting constantly. The difference is when it's all about them and there's no room for me to open up and share my feelings. Or, I'm constantly paying because they're broke. Or they down own a vehicle but want to go everywhere that needs to br driven to. The issue is that you can't guarantee that you'd attract the kind of women that would be into you (or that you'd be into). I personally don't attract the women that I'm actually into. I have to make the first move and the kind of women I'm into are often not into me. Sometimes, I strike gold and they're interested but most of the time they aren't. Your definition of rejection still involves getting to the step of a date. It's probably useful as someone who's pursued, but it doesn't really work for the pursuer. Wrapping up rejection as indifference and tossing it aside is a (wojack word) strategy. It might work in the short term but it builds up over time. You need to accept the reality of being rejected before you can ever properly heal from it. Pretending that you weren't rejected isn't healthy.

Yeah sometimes I that's where the disconnect that dome men in this sub get too caught up in. Just being able get sex from easy men isn't a win. The same way getting sex from promiscuous women or prostitutes isn't a win for men, it's too easy. That's why their so dismissive of those solutions. Lots of men here might disagree with that but it's basically the same. They equate attraction to desirability but it couldn't be further from the truth. I learned that the hard way. Someone could be DTF and…

Idk about the other commenters but the post didn't have much to do with sex. I used the Tinder stats as an example but I honestly believe this applies to dating in general and not just seeking out sex.

How can you not take rejection to personally? Getting rejected is literally someone saying that you arent good enough or arent worth my time. If they thought you were worth it you wouldnt get rejected. It is personal imo. How can that not knock your self esteem? This is why I dont get why people can say its a numbers game. Obviously I dont condone lashing out but it will hurt in some way. We are people not robots. Rejection is someone saying that you aren't good enough for them. It doesn't apply…

but internally it does rock me. I feel you strongly on this. I learned how to shrug over years of getting rejected but it definitely rocked me at first especially when I was really interested in someone. I think learning how to grieve and heal properly helps out a lot. Allowing yourself to be upset and having a safe space to vent your feelings helps out a lot. I'm not at all advocating for people to suppress their emotions. It's perfectly normal to feel a sting from rejection. I think how you ha…

Mind if I ask what this is in response to? I address men specifically because I'm not a woman and I have no idea what it's like to date as a woman. So, I'm not going to speak for them. Is it this?

Everyone leaves eventually. Either by choice or by death. Nothing is permanent. This isn't bound by gender. Enjoying it while they're around but accepting that it won't last forever is a healthy mindset imo.

In retrospect, I can see how it's pretty jaded. Idk, I've been hurt a lot so you just learn how to cope with it. I've also been hurt by a lot worse things than dating and women being mean to me. Growing up in poverty and wondering if I'm going to come home to empty cabinets isn't fun. So, I think the stoicism just carries over, you know?

Yeah you should just don't act like a human being that have it's own mental health in order to get 14 starfish sex that cost probably 3 times the price that would cost to hire 14 prostitutes that would ride your cock like if you were a mechanical bull. Most hookup sex sucks. If you can't mentally handle rejection and truly just want sex then yes you should probably just pay hookers to fuck you. It's probably the best set up for your situation. I see a few people posting in advice subs about their infidelity and how they can remediate their relationship. The very first question I'd usually ask would be something along the lines of "do you actually want to be with your partner if you were willing to cheat?" They'd immediately brush me off with something along the lines of "oh I was drunk" or "I just did a goof it won't happen again." It's like they refused to even acknowledge that there might be a deeper reason that they committed infid…

Nah you're right. My comment was mostly in jest. Recognizing social dynamics is definitely a good skill. I'm just on the spectrum so a lot of this social stuff is super hard even with lots of support and counseling. But, the little that I've learned over the years has only worked in my favor.

When men do the same, they are seen as misogynist. By women. Your boys aren't going to call you a misogynist for any of those takes. This sub is the first place I've read the word "gynocentric" and I understand why I've never head it before. Ironically, the same men that complain about gynocentrism care a lot about the opinions of women. If you criticize them, they'll call you out and insult you. What else do you expect?

tbh I don't know how you do it. Maybe I'm just insecure but it bothers me. It was enough for me to leave a woman that was really into because she kept her ex and several men she used to mess with way too close for my comfort. To the extent of them having keys to her apartment while we were together. That was the experience that made me a lot less partial to that dynamic.

If a woman has had a high number of sexual partners, then it vastly increases the likelihood that she has engaged in sex, with someone he knows. I should have elaborated here. I don't care if she's had sex with someone I know. What matters is the proximity of those former sexual partners. Doesn't matter if you had with my former college roommate. It would matter if you slept with my best friend. Doesn't matter if you had sex with a few FWBs on rotation before we started dating. It does matter if…

Older men are desperate. A lot of rich men spent most of their lives working for that wealth and probably squandered old relationships or even marriages to get there. I have plenty of coworkers on their 2nd or even 3rd marriage. Or pushing 40+ making well over 200k-300k but single and still swiping on Tinder. /r/PurplePillDebate23/03/24 05:28 AM

Just because light-skin Keshia with the pretty face and the big booty wanted to be with her counterpart and didn’t want to listen to your ass yap about Naruto all day, doesn’t suddenly make all black women Jezebels. Holy fuck you really are Black I thought I would never read this sentence on this sub.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/24 02:23 AM

I get it because I did end up attracting a lot of non-Black women. But, I think that had more to do with their fascination with Black men than it did a genuine desire of me. I think they don't have the same framework and standards that Black women want from a Black man. Thus, they're more open to just seeing what they can get out of you. I dated one of those women while I was still ignorant of that dynamic and quickly learned that I'm not interested in it.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/24 02:15 AM

Here’s the hard part though. No woman will go harder for black men than a black woman. Black women are the least likely to date outside their race. So it’s kind of awful to see black men making disparaging comments about black women when black women are the only ones who consistently stay on the front line to support black men. This is one big reason that I really hate the whole Black Nerd stereotype and why I refuse to be labeled as one even though my experiences were very similar to them. They…

Funny I saw this video a few days after it dropped. I fully agree with the experiences of both the men and the women from both the original video and the update. I was one of those Black nerds growing up. I'm guilty of that exact thing that those women accused Black boys of doing. I wanted the popular Black girls, not the ones that actually wanted me. Or, I'm completely wrong about that and women just like handing out pussy for free because it's easier than handing over anything else of actual value, then blaming everyone else for taking the low hanging fruit they're offering and walking away. A woman not wanting to commit to a guy is much much less likely than a man wanting to commit. Generally, women do not continue to have sex with men they do not see relationship potential with. You're working off this assumption and I don't think it reflects reality. Women have more options than ever nowadays. They have leverage. Younger women nowadays are more educated, more wealthy, and earn more than younger men on average. According to this sub, they basically have a the dating game in a chok…

I think situationship is just a trendy word for "it's complicated." I've been with women where we've passed the sex boundary but she was hesitant to commit much more than that. Another way is you wait around for her to be lonely and be enough value for her socially that she doesn’t want to lose you, so you get with her as bait to even allow the friendship to continue and the fact she isn’t getting any D at the time. How can you even do something like this and sleep at night?

Trust me, they don't. I'm still getting weird 3am emails from someone I left 6 years ago. And I still get friend requests from a few of my other exes. I think women are more willing to put themselves back out there. The issue with "putting yourself out there" is that it's a distraction, a coping mechanism. Some women take the time to actually grieve but others are fine just sleeping away their problems. Unlike a lot of men, they're able to do that easier. My ex told me she slept with a new dude …

I understand it from the perspective of someone who has a lot in life and wants their partner to be able to pull their own weight. Maybe not just monetarily but through any effort at all. Some people expect to be waited on hand over foot and treated like a trophy. I've already had an experience with someone that wants to be a trophy. My personal belief is that they are indoctrinated into a belief system that makes them see themselves as victims. Have you ever considered that women might be rude because they just don't care about being nice? People aren't always rude with intent. Sometimes, rudeness is someone's default. Yeah that first one is a big ego killer for dudes that get action and think it means something about them. Big reason that I'm not personally into hookups, I get attached. I don't need to get hurt like that lmao. Spicy. I find that "old-fashioned/traditional" part of my mind wincing at househusbands too. Wild because I agree with your takes for the most part. Especially the hookups one. Women don’t typically like to debate ideas first of all, second of all women don’t really think about their attraction the way we do. You got a point here. I have tried to have these conversations with women IRL and they usually don't have a response outside of "idk that's just what I like." It's valid, sure. But, it's shallow.
