If I took video of you public speaking to a large group, you'd probably sound like you're on speed too. Almost every non professional either speaks quickly or umms and uuuhs when public speaking.

I agree in general, but not here. He's been friends for this girl for months so it's a little late for that. He is either in the friend zone or toeing the line, he can't treat this the same way as a fresh new person, there are already expectations in place. Trying to push into sex will fail and not even the answer if you're in the FZ or not. If he gets the kiss then yes escalate to sex ASAP, but going from a high comfort/low-medium attraction scenario you have to build attraction. The goal here …

Dude, make a move. Seriously. I get why you didn't before, but if it's been a few months you're toying the line between the friend-zone and romantic partner if you haven't already. You are a man. Don't wait around for the perfect time and the perfect sign for you to have all green lights to kiss her. It will never come and she'll slip by. Grab life by the balls and make a god damn move. Tomorrow, what I want you to do is give her some space for a bit. Don't actively ignore her or pretend she's i…

First of all, what are you looking for, some sex or a relationship? If you're looking for sex you want something where you can get close and have good logistics to go somewhere you can fuck after you escalate. If you're looking for a relationship, you want to find something that will demonstrate she would be the type of girl you want to be with. The old school thinking is "do stuff that she will find fun!" That's bullshit, find stuff that you would want your partner to find fun. Like I want a gi…

So, like, did she actually say "winky face?" In all seriousness, it still applies to real life. I remember having a similar situation in person that ended with nothing. Tell me more about the girl. About your guys relationship. How long have you known her, what's it been like, how attractive is she, what body language she gives you, any hooking up in the past, all the details.

Honestly, only slightly. It fixes a symptom of a boring life and neediness, but it's still there and there are a multitude of other visible symptoms of it. Let's say that this works and she's interested again. So they start texting back in forth a bit. Since this guy has nothing going on, he texts her more and more and she gets bored. He remembers what he learned and backs off. It works and he gets a date. They're at the date and he's nervous as fuck because he has no other women in his life and…

Like in this situation, where you're messaging (or back in my day AIM'ing) and make jokes like this, she's in a completely safe, non-sexual joking scenario. This is common if you're friend-zoned. She's fine making sexual jokes with you because you're not really a sexual being to her, just a friend. It would be creepy or weird if I took her joking as serious in that situation. In other situations where I've clearly built attraction and are escalating, it's a different story. Again, all context ba…

Honestly, in these situations, it is extremely context based. I've had girls in my earlier days talk to me about sex or things like this all the time, but they would never have sex with me. It was fun for them to talk and joke about, but in the end it was a joke and actually taking it seriously would come off as creepy and weird. Now, if I do stuff like this it usually means we're going to fuck. There's a lot of context in between that which we don't see.

Instead of pretending to be busy and not needy, you work on actually being busy and not needy.
/r/seduction18/02/15 01:19 AM

Because it gives the impression that you lead a busy life and she is not the center of your world but one moving part in a bigger picture. Of course, it is much more effective just to have a busy life, but that's why we call these "tricks" instead of lifestyle changes.

If you're online dating, especially in a more hook-up oriented way like Tindr, it matters a whole lot. If you are approaching in real life, it barely matters. If you're not very conventionally attractive, even below average girls will not give you the time of day on Tindr. If you're fit, white, tall, and hot, you barely have to work. But on the street, that average guy could easily out game the hot one.

Yeah, but at a subconscious level it's still unattractive.

You say that, but we have a shit ton of socially awkward people here with 0 social experience. Telling them "go for it with a woman who says no" without super explaining it is like smoking at a gas pump. This is pretty advanced as it requires extensive knowledge of body language and subcommunication, and also a good amount of sexual experience. It's totally obvious if you're good with women, but if not you're just looking for trouble. And legally, if a girl says no, even if every other signifier…

On the one hand you're totally right, but on the other hand there is way too much at stake to play their game (false rape charge or misreading and actual rape happening).

Try this, if you're in person. Whenever a girl gives you a playful shit test like this, just hold eye contact, smirk, and say "Is that right?" And motherfucker, hold that cocky yet strong eye contact and don't falter. It ups the sexual tension so much. What you have to realize (and you'll understand this through experience) is that women do this kind of thing as part of our social mating dance. Most people see this stuff and think "aww man, she doesn't like me", but being shit tested is one of t…

This is essentially mystery in action. If you go over every small detail about you life, a woman has no reason to get to know you. If you leave it bare bones, it will intrigue her and get her to ask you about yourself.

I feel like every man should know how to play one instrument or some other creative endeavour, speak one extra language, know how to work with his hands, and learn how to play chess well. Get started on one of those.

My initial reaction is not good because it frames you as the one needing to prove yourself to her when it should be the other way around. I'm not so sure it's a bad thing because a lot of guys pull the whole "impress me" frame online. As long as you don't come across as needy or desperate and play with it, it could be fun. Like if she said "Well it will take a full essay with a thesis" or something fun like that, I'd respond "Uggh, I was really looking for a word count in the single digits. Next…

Another part, that you did not mention despite your wonderful post, is that you need to make sure you are comfortable with it. If you are jealous or sexually insecure, you may not be able to handle it. It may sound great do date a girl while banging others, until you get into it and realize the another man is bringing the woman you love to a spine-tingling climax.

You have heard of prenups, haven't you? Besides, settling down doesn't mean signing a legal contract. I've had the pleasure of knowing many great couples who have been "dating" 20 odd years and still haven't been officially married.

Best advice? Don't treat women differently than you would treat anyone else. This is the advice "nice guys" need, and so few people are giving it to them.

Try meeting slightly older women in the area. If you're in a college town there are sure to be fresh out of college women who are working in the area. Also, if you don't put up with those games and stop chasing as soon as it happens, they'll either wise or you'll learn early on that she's all about that and can move on quickly.

Find a middle ground between worrying and not doing anything. Take action, but avoid being outcome dependent. A good goal for now is just to talk to as many people as possible. If you build your social circle now it will pay off a million times over.

Knowledge for Men is not all PUA, but it has great dating coaches on there. Mark Manson and Gambler have done great ones, and the interview with the author of "No More Mr. Nice Guy" is awesome. Also, RSD has a podcast but it's just audio from their videos.

You've been conditioned all of your life to feel: ashamed of your sexual urges. like being sexually forward with a woman is akin to sexual assault. being honest with your goals or sexuality will means your a bad person. that women aren't sexual and don't desire sex as much as you. that ALL guys that have a lot of sex treat women like shit and that by being forward you are a sleezy douchebag. that being called a "creep" by a woman is a fate worse than death. that women are scary when it comes to …

I think a big thing about being comfortable is experience, in every aspect of life. Having similar reference points and have experiences with going out and doing all sorts of things and constantly putting yourself out there and having fun is hugely important to being comfortable. And I'm not saying "If don't go to goth clubs you can't be comfortable in a goth club", but that if you have lots of experiences being out of your element, being in new experiences with completely different subcultures …

I never really liked Roosh, but him trying to exploit the whole Elliot Rodgers thing to sell his book was disgusting and I absolutely refuse to give any sort of views to that guy. I've also never been a huge fan of Mystery from the start (before The Game and his show), but you can't help but recognize that he was really the birth of the movement. Also Ross Jeffries was always super creepy to me, couldn't really put my finger on why, but I haven't really kept up with him or anything. Right now, I…
