No I haven't but that sounds good! Thanks!

It is strong, but I am the planner. I plan all the trips, outings, meetings with family etc and am generally responsible for moving things forward, which is why I worry that he wouldn't take initiative. But I understand it is a stressful time for everyone!

So if you make your timeline clear and it's not met... How much "overtime" do you allow for? Or is it time to move on?

Ah interesting! We had talked about a timeline for marriage, and as much as it would devastate me... I would have to prepare to leave if there are no signs of that being met. Which even feels terrible to say. But there's no reason for me to stay if the real commitment isn't there

To be honest, I have thought about that too. He should be excited and eager. And it's definitely not my job to make him chase me. This is going to sound bad but I feel like I've found something unique because he's never ever screamed or sworn at me or called me names (which of course I would never tolerate now). But I think I'm going to try to focus on myself more, and if it doesn't work out I will just have to deal with it!

I agree with this as well, that I have definitely gotten away from living my own life! It's just hard being stuck in quarantine, he's like my go-to. But he is a surprisingly good communicator for a guy, like listens to me and uses reason instead of just throwing a tantrum (how sad that I have to say that). Thank you for the advice!!

I think you're absolutely right! I have gotten to the point where I am more concerned about what we're doing together than what I'm doing for myself, and I have to remember that I have my own identity. I'd like to find a new hobby for just me and my girlfriends, whenever quarantine is lifted. And be doing it for my own enjoyment, nothing to do with the relationship

I posted a relationship advice question (in a separate post) which was "automatically removed by the moderators" immediately. Is that not allowed? I was really looking for an FDS perspective

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
