I have been in a relationship with an amazing guy for the past 2.5 years. HUGE step up from my physically abusive ex. When we met, my SO (Jon) pursued me fervently, took me out, made me lunches, brought me my favorite snacks etc. I knew he wanted a serious relationship. I very much took my time deciding I wanted a relationship with him. When we finally started dating, I was still very stand-off-ish because of my past. He never pushed me to do anything I wasn't comfortable with, and ultimately brought out my affectionate side. It was exactly what I needed.

Now, 2.5 years, it feels like the tables have turned somewhat. I just need confirmation I'm not acting crazy. I am almost always the one to initiate physical affection. Jon complements me probably every other day or so (which is great, don't get me wrong, but way down from when we first got together). In the beginning, it was obvious how much he wanted to be with me. I don't feel that way anymore. Jon does the vast majority of cooking and caring for the house, so I do know that he cares. I just sometimes feel like now I am the one with more desire for him, whereas that did not used to be the case. I am now the one who initiates everything, whether it be traveling, activities, deep conversations, complementing one another, even making out, which we don't often do anymore. Intimacy between us is great, but the frequency has also decreased a whole lot.

Of course we have talked about marriage, and we are both willing, but sometimes I worry that Jon has gotten so complacent that he will never actually make that move. I am in love with Jon, but how can I regain the state of being pursued in an already ongoing and serious relationship? (Sorry, this was a lot! I appreciate your insight!)
