Its worse when women cheat

The truth is that women respond more to socialisation. What they define as “average” is based on the aggregate of the the social indicators which a man elicits. If society as a whole, which is run by men, started to suggest that fat, broke men were to be afforded the greatest social status, then women would all be chasing fat, broke men. So actually, when you think about it, its men who are creating our own problem here.

Status, resources, physical attractiveness. In that order. This is how women rate men.

Its nice to hear someone else who’s had a similar experience. I’m in my 30’s too. Took me far too long to learn what you shared here. As you say, it’s better to avoid because ultimately it’s very hurtful to the woman. No one wants to feel like they aren’t good enough. I don’t want to be the cause of anyones heartache.

Finally some self awareness. So refreshing. Great comment. It works for at least a few men too. I’ve been with girls now who I liked “on paper” so I forced myself to be with them. But I realise that you cannot force love. It just happens. I would be “ok” with them but I’d constantly get the ick about certain little things. But that was just my brain making a broader mismatch into an individual problem. Honestly I’m pretty cynical now. I think it’s a bad situation for men and women dating. So I p…

I was waiting to find someone saying this! I totally agree. I’ve been in this situation a few times now. You just cannot force yourself to be attracted to them. Its visceral. I’ve decided it’s better to remain single. Very little hope of finding a good relationship now.

I’ve had this same feeling for women I’ve been with, just saying. I’ve learnt now that I should never be forcing myself to like someone. It never works. It’s either there or it isn’t. If one is unsure it’s better to remain single. I don’t see this getting much better in society because the truth is that men are worse now, and women are also worse now. So both sides aren’t satisfied by each other. We’re all just as fucked. Awful situation for everyone.

Women respond to socialisation. A global brainwashing/propaganda campaign telling them how great their guy is would fix this pretty much immediately.

God damn it’s depressing. It’s no surprise most people end up in miserable marriages.

This is probably much more common from the female side. But it does appear to work the other way too. From what I’ve seen, when a very desirable guy lowers his standards to be with a woman, it can often result in him cheating on her, or being abusive. A general degeneration of society has left men and women lacking in the areas which the other sex find most attractive. So it affects the quality of everyone’s relationships. It may be unrelated but I do wonder. Would be interested to hear what oth…

I wanted to argue with this but honestly you’re probably correct. I think the real problem here is due go the current state of humanity, both men and women are less marriageable. So no one is happy.

Marriage in its current form is an L for men and a W for women. Always was and always will be. What you’re getting is legal commitment from a man for you and your offspring as your sexual market value decreases over time. And his is more likely to increase.

So weird that “holding down a job” is automatically viewed as some kind of virtue. Why would anyone contribute to such a messed up system.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/23 06:46 AM

I don’t agree. Women love rich, famous and classy guys. These guys aren’t rich, famous or classy, so women see through it. Nice designer clothes, pictures showing them doing expensive, cool stuff and pictures showing social proof like standing in front of a crowd getting an award or winning an olympic gold medal or something would transform their number of matches. It wouldn’t matter how ugly they were.

How do you explain people like Jack Parsons then? He was about as educated AND into “voodoo stuff” as a person could possibly be. Quite a lot of examples like that.
/r/RedPillWomen13/09/23 05:11 PM

I disagree wholeheartedly with this. I meet a lot of very educated people and they are often super esoteric in their views of the world. Even more perhaps than your normal person. I think the people that downplay any spiritual or religious stuff tend to be people who think they are very smart and might have a doctorate from a degree mill. But in actual fact they’re not truly intelligent in a broad sense.

Thanks for sharing that. I’ve always wondered about it. Happy it’s working out for you. Perhaps society will change so it’s more accepting of non monogamy. Have you ever seen the movie, “Indecent proposal?” I think you might enjoy it :)

Hey each to their own. If it works for you then no one can argue with you choosing to do it. You’re definitely right that many monogamous relationships aren’t working out to well anyway! This is a bit personal so you don’t have to answer if you don’t want to, but I’m just curious, have you yourself ever exercised your right to have a physical “entanglement” with someone other than your partner? Or has it been only him who’s done it so far? If you have, how did he feel when he heard about it? And…

You’ll find someone I’m sure, but it depends on you both being happy and loving yourself first before entering the relationship. Something I’m working on right now. Increasingly difficult in this day and age. Also, I don’t mean to be judgemental but the ENM thing is something I could never do if I actually care about a girl. I can’t actually imagine a worse pain than knowing a girl I love slept with someone else. That gives me nightmares honestly. Just the thought makes me feel uneasy.

No most women have a “3 date rule” even if they are really attracted to you
/r/PurplePillDebate11/09/23 10:25 AM

Yeah this is definitely not true, I know from personal experience. I’ve dated a lot of women. Generally how things go is as follows, First when you you meet for the initial dates, if you find her attractive then all you can think about is how you’d love to sleep with her. And it’s like a cat and mouse game where you try and “woo” her to get her to feel comfortable enough to sleep with you. Slowly she gets more comfortable and usually by date 3 she will sleep with you. But then after date 3 the w…

It’s quite a lot for the UK. People don’t make as much as in America here. This is part of the problem for women though, because very few men now as truly “high value” by traditional standards. They may be high earners but even high earners aren’t able to accumulate a lot of resources for total financial security today. Most have mortgages still and car loans etc. The baby boomers just have all the real assets.

As others have alluded to, it’s not that we don’t care about a woman’s career or earnings. It’s just that it’s not our priority. Youth and looks come first.

I’m an upper middle class man in the UK and I don’t care about a woman’s degree or job, per se. It’s just that the more intelligent women I meet and relate to, almost always have a degree and a good job. I’m not even trying to filter people out, it just seems to be how things go. In a certain sense going to university and being in a good working environment probably shape who you are. Women are more susceptible to socialisation. We just need to elevate the average man’s perceived social status and they will start dating them.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/23 06:47 AM

I’m really trying to see women in this way, and look beyond looks. But it’s very hard. To be honest though the more I think of it, physical attractiveness is actually more about how a person carries themselves and their confidence. Rather than what age they are or specific physical features.

Just sharing an example with you so you get my point here - What you’re saying here is the female equivalent of me (a man), saying, “I just want a girlfriend who loves me for me. She shouldn’t care that I live in my mums basement, eat potato chips and play video games all day. And that my life situation will never change because this is just how I want to live my life.” No woman would ever go for that.

I feel the need to step in here because your view of men is wrong and it will hinder you. The fact that we go for youth and fertility isn’t such a bad thing. We won’t always just trade you in for a younger model when you get older, because of wife goggles. I see it in my friends all the time now. It appears that men are just programmed to stick with their partner no matter how they change physically. For obvious evolutionary reasons. Your youthful feminine energy opens the door to us. But once w…

I’m starting to think that women are much more susceptible to socialisation than men. So this whole argument between men and women about whether attractiveness is primarily socialised or biological is never going to be resolved. Because both sexes are correct in their argument. But only with regards to their own sex.

I have a few friends around 40 and they seem to have observed a similar effect to this. I looked ok at 20 but my social skills were god awful. Those improve too with age.

Honestly I think it’s just different for men and women. Just look at all the really well known male heart throbs in movies. They are almost always mid thirties when they are cast at a minimum. The young “hot hunk” look may do it for teenage girls, but the vast majority of women, on aggregate seem to find (well kept) middle aged men more attractive. I find as a man my muscle structure and everything keeps improving naturally as I age. Not to mention my stubble is getting thicker which looks bette…

Well… there is some validity to that. Because your peak earning years are 40 to 50. Probably peaking in social status as well. So it would make sense that you’re most attractive then.

All these problems would be solved if we just normalised older men dating younger women more. And also accepted that men will likely always make more money than women without external assistance.

No woman will give you a straight answer on this unless they’ve really thought it through. Which they generally don’t. But the reality is that they expect a man to at some point be bringing a lifestyle to the table which costs at least 100k. If you’re not living that lifestyle now or have no serious plans to in future, you will be in for a lifetime of misery with women.

Everyone will be non essential soon. Self driving cars are one example of a very hard problem which has mostly been solved. Ten years ago people would have said there’s no way due to the shear number of different possibilities than could occur while driving. But here we are. Death rates are lower for self driving than humans. Humanoid robots are not far off and I would guess that plumbing is easier to automate than you’d think. You right on the liberal art stuff though. That will be gone too.

I know from personal experience that I have added a lot to women’s lives. Mainly through building their confidence, calming the waters when they are upset/emotional, giving them a rational point of view and listening to them when they need to feel heard. It would be very sad for women to lose men entirely. Whether or not they admit it, I know I’ve been useful to them in non material ways.

No, you can definitely learn. Women are extremely simple to understand. They have three fundamental drivers in long term mate selection (everything else is secondary); Does the person treat them well? Does the person have social status within the context that woman predominantly operates? Does the person have resources? If you have these three qualities you’ll have women throwing themselves at you and they will (literally) do anything for you. You basically can’t do anything wrong at that point.…

There was a survey which came out recently and was reported on “The hill” showing that a majority of men under 40 had considered suicide in the last 2 weeks. I think at this point it goes beyond victim olympics. Men (young men in particular) are in really really bad shape. Something has to be done and it can’t just be ignored.

These are very valid points. Very kind of you to take the time to share these links. Perhaps you guys are right. Maybe men have lost a lot more ground to women now. For most of human history this was probably the case. But with AI etc. quickly advancing, I’m not sure it will be true anymore. Then again, with general AI nothing really holds true any more. Including my point on women. So I’m pretty much proving my own point wrong as well.

Yeah but I see an equally strong ultra progressive wave happening too. I don’t really care for labels but if I’m honest with myself I lean more traditionally progressive in almost every way. But I consider every side of the argument and accept that I may be wrong and the society I want may not be the society others want. To me it seems like everything is getting more and more radical on both sides. And the “warfare” is getting more brutal and violent. Both physically and emotionally.

Legendary IQ level comment haha. Dropping truth bombs like a Mo-fo! Great read and thanks for sharing the link, I will go have a look. One question for you. What do you make of monogamy? Definition of war is armed conflict between countries or groups within countries. The conflict is everywhere and the armaments are social media, online dating profiles, divorce laws, physical bodies… It’s a war for sure. Also why are sex and babies viewed as universally good. My intuition says they are as well but maybe that’s something which needs to be proven.

All of what you’ve said is true, but there is another side to this picture. What about sexual assaults on women? And violence/abuse within relationships? Also, “pump and dump” type behaviour? Men are inflicting huge damage in those areas.

Probably true overall. I mean on a fundamental level the world would probably go on if 99% of men were killed off tomorrow. But if 99% of women were killed off I almost guarantee human civilisation would destroy itself. Unless of course we got emotion capable sex robots by then.

I wish that were the case but the worse this whole thing gets the more I start thinking we are actually doing more damage to each other. I mean, is there any data on how many people are in relationships in which both sides believe they are beneficial to them? It’s not so much about being opposed to the entire other sex. No reasonable person thinks like that. It’s more a question as to whether the society that men would like to live in is diametrically opposed to the society that women would like…

It’s then an impossible situation because we can’t roll back women’s rights. But at the same time as things currently stand the dating market will continue to get more dysfunctional.

I agree with your assessment of the unresolved question. Personally I believe female selectivity will never change, hardwired! But I know that’s divisive so perhaps I’ll be proven wrong.

This is true what you’re saying. The challenge for me is just different now, because there are so few women I actually want to be with. I’m 30 myself btw.

I’m 30 now and I’ve noticed the shift in power dynamics very acutely over the last few years. It’s sad to talk about it in terms of “power” but really that’s what it is. Whichever person has more options has more power, whether they want it or not. It’s up to that individual to wield that power in an ethical way. It’s gone from me being overly emotional about “whether she likes me or not” to me constantly thinking “is she right for me or not” and generally the girls are 100% all in. I also under…

Yes but they won’t find the man they WANT to do that. Men worth having wouldn’t put up with that.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/23 04:58 PM

Life is utterly meaningless, banal and ultimately futile without love. And the purest, most lasting love is romantic IMO. I’ve been single for 7 years with OPs mindset. I can tell you it eventually results in misery. You need a partner to fully self actualise.

I agree with earlier comments from men saying they won’t date girls more that 1 or 2 levels below them. I have literally hundreds of matches on hinge and I get fast matches with attractive, well educated girls in any city I go to. I’ve rejected so many women I’ve lost count. We have to define “easy” when it comes to dating as a mid woman. It’s easy in a sense that they could easily enter into a relationship with an OK guy. But I think it can be hard for them to find a guy that they are head over…

It’s almost pointless unless you’re a top shelf guy. But top tip, just save up and splurge on (good quality) designer clothing + get a single session with a good (you’ll have to pay too dollar) with a fashion/style consultant. Women lap it up. They can’t tell the difference.

All the answers here are BS and don’t get to the root cause. Girls need to STOP DATING GUYS OUT OF THEIR LEAGUE. If you find your social status hard to gauge then do some googling to figure out where you sit (Hint - it’s not just based on income). If you still aren’t getting it then go to a shrink and ask them to assess whether you have narcissistic personality disorder.

(30M) I can relate to a lot of this as I’m in a similar position to you except slightly more on the red pill side. I definitely don’t want an “equal partnership” because in my case it just won’t work. I’m absolutely certain that for any relationship to work between a partner and I she has to view me as above her in almost every respect.

Ah see that’s where you’re wrong. I’ve had girlfriends in the past where they have gained weight and to me they were exactly as appealing as before. For me I get past a certain point and then I just can’t ever see anything negative about them. Even their imperfections become perfect in my eyes.

Great comment. The only difference in my own thinking is that if you truly love someone you won’t allow them to hurt or abuse you. Because ultimately when they do that they are hurting themselves. Therefore an expression of true love in that scenario might be to leave them. For example I could still love someone and leave them because I know it’s in their best interests that I leave them. This for me is unconditional love.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/23 04:28 PM

Totally get what you’re saying here but I just question whether it’s really true that women are more likely to leave. I know statistically that they leave relationships more but there are so many confounding variables it’s really hard to draw conclusions from that. I’ve just seen and heard enough cases of women in my own life staying with men under horrendous circumstances, that it makes me doubt this stuff about women being more likely to leave.

Hey man, please my heart is open to you. I love you like I love every man as a brother. I’m only telling you this because unfortunately it is a reality we men have to face up to. I classify myself as a black pilled radical feminist. I love to hang out with radical lefty feminists because they are usually cool people and they are on the exact same page as me. Their mantra is that “all men are the same”. And they are correct! And if you accept that all men are the same, then by extension, all wome…

I only have love for you brother as we men have to stick up for each other these days. But you’re in your feelings right now, refusing to see reality. Women are perfectly ok with sharing and HVM are perfectly ok with sharing their love with multiple people!

Hence the women all come to believe that they are in a relationship with the guy. I remember I lived with a chick once who was an investment banker and this rich married dude in South Africa would speak to her every day and buy her whatever she wanted. To all intents and purposes to her that was some kind of relationship as she wasn’t apparently seeing other men
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/23 03:34 PM

😂 I am so much more jaded than you dude. Almost all the rich successful guys I know will tell you when they trust you that they are monogamous-ish with their main partner. Most of them have side pieces. I.e. mistress, executive wife. I’ve even met dudes who have like 4 relationships with different girls in different countries! Haha

I know from personal experience this isn’t the case. For example I’m currently seeing 3 different women, all intimately. Im not sure if I’m chad but Im over 30, own multiple businesses, high income, wear luxury brands like Omega and Zenga, own A nearly new tesla, prime real estate, stay in 5 star hotels and travel frequently, multi millionaire. 6 foot 2, in shape, confident, almost full head of hair and get literally hundreds on matches on online dating which I sift through and select (I had pro…

This is a great point! I think it is the key factor here which is being missed. Multiple women are in “relationships” with the same high value men.

The sad reality is that until we accept that men will always earn more and have more status than women overall without outside interventions, the dating market will be broken. It’s just not in female nature to date down. Never will be.

I'm my experience most super attractive women I've met have a myriad of issues. Drugs, insecurities, emotional damage. I would hazard a guess that it's because their whole lives they've just been treated like a piece of meat and not a real person. Impossible to know whether a guy is into you because of your personality or not. Not to mention the types of guys who have the confidence to approach them are probably assholes and heartbreakers/f-boys. Honestly, I feel sad for girls with this burden.

It’s not so much about people “lowering their standards.” It’s about people being self aware enough to be realistic about what their “sexual market value,” is.

It’s strange how different everyone’s experiences are from mine. From what I’ve seen in the real world, the guys who are jacked and traditionally good looking don’t get laid nearly as much as average looking guys who are fun and flirty who go under the radar with women. Often the “CHADS” are avoided by women as they believe (often rightly) that they are the kind of guy to screw them over and hurt them. The guys who get laid a lot are the cool, smooth operators. Much less about looks and way more…

One point of agreement is that I think you are right about people taking relationships as wall street. This is a systemic problem which goes deep and has its roots in capitalism and privatisation/commodification of everything.

I don't think this is true. Generally speaking younger women seem to be more successful than the men the complain about now. Shown in the data too.

I don't agree. I think women do care about height, income etc. but it's not their primary concern. They basically just don't want a bum who's under 5 feet tall and has no ambition for bettering their life. Everything else above that is a bonus but attributes like kindness take precedence.

What's your definition of empowerment? Personally I don't see constantly bombarding women with advertisements of unrealistic perfect lives they could and should be living as very empowering.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/21 03:49 PM

See I disagree with the whole manosphere premise of female value. Personally I value older women more highly in many ways because they generally bring so much more to the table in terms of life experience, emotional support and understanding. It's no wonder that men are unsatisfied if they keep going for young girls who are just not at the same life stage as them.

Low libido - definitely not true of my female friends around my age (I'm 28). Fluid sexuality - from what I've seen young women do experiment more than men but most go back to desiring hetronormative relationships when they approach 30. Obviously there are exceptions but this is the case in the vast majority. Easy access to companionship - Definitely not true, at least not from men. Especially if they are not good looking or overweight, which is a majority. Most of the women around my age seem t…

I've thought about this Alot and this is the best explanation I've come up with (trying to be as even handed as possible) - The apparent struggle to find a good man (and likewise for some men unable to find a girl they like) really boils down to deep social, societal and even civilisational problems we are having right now globally, but in particular the western world. This is what the alt-right neo-misogynists like Rollo Tomassi and the like miss, the systemic issues that are driving all this. …

Isn't it different though based on how attractive the woman is? I am a man, have had many friends who are women saying they don't find online dating as easy as everyone is claiming here. I think it does depend on the girl. I don't think you can blanket every girl as having it much easier to find someone they want to have sex with.
