My rent is $840 per week. Who is spending that. Because no one is reaching 80% unless that is counted against them.

Agreed. What has society done to make dating easier for women who struggle? Are men forced to date these women?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/06/26 11:48 PM

No from the 10 percent of women already working there.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/26 04:41 AM

I’m sure we’d be fine. Any industry loosing s lot of workers at once will suffer s bit in the short term but women are capable of learning the job.

Lets not forget, some of these aren't even true. Women tend to supply more calories of food in a lot of societies. But men make a huge fuss over their larger, one off successes. Doing less but insisting on more praise is the male trait, rather than 'providing'.

"The kicker is that most women don't like guys who have to put in a lot of effort, and consequently these women are often seen going for men that have to put in very little effort."
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/26 12:35 AM

You also said women don't like men who are late bloomers. If a woman meets a guy who is fit, does she interrrogate him about how long he has been fit? And doesn't like it if he says two years instead of "my whole life"?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/26 12:26 AM
1

Very little effort into what? Are you claiming that some men just get fit without trying when they brush against a barbell? Or are just personable and funny without practice? Or do you mean they don't complain about it?

Why is it always cooking and not other chores?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/26 12:41 AM
3

I like it if someone does chores for me. That doesn't sound like what people mean when they enthuse over cooking. They don't enthuse over sweeping the floor in the same way. They sort of fetishize it as a submissive act ("Oh, here I amd serving my husband a delicious and healthy meal") but meanwhile it's more like: make the bed, sweep the floor, cut up meat, throw in a load of laundry, gee, I'll be glad when I'm done with all this shit,
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/26 11:36 PM

And cooking a chore on par with sweeping the floors, so I'm glad you enjoy it but it's weird.

If they don't want to get married, are they good marriage prospects?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/26 11:52 PM

It's not putting a burden on you. It's telling you how other people get together. This usually works for them and you can participate. If you don't want to, you are relying on a woman who has failed to attract men in this way to become motivated to attract you in a specific, more direct way.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/26 10:26 PM

I read a book once which posited that 60% of women are very driven to have children and will even become a single mother rather than miss out, 30% are content either way and will only have children if conditions are good, and 10% actively don't want children.

Who are they dating? If it's not a guy that's just out of a relationship, then it's a guy who has been single for a while?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/26 09:43 PM

Has anyone tried financial incentives on this level? Most I've heard is $400,000 for housing in South Korea and apparently that was successful.

Just the ones who misunderstood it.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/04/26 09:10 PM

My point it that you misunderstood the programming. You are meant to avoid unwanted sexual advances, not all advances. Don't persist when she is clearly uncomfortable.

It's not that she wanted you to break the rules, she wants you to let her know that she's interested in her. You think she fancies you, so she has let you know, now she wants you to return the volley. She's playing tennis with someone who lets the ball fall on the ground instead of swinging at it.

Statistically, women date men who are two years older than them, so the 28 and 29 years olds, 20% of women, are dating men in the next age group. You're now looking at a 2% difference.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/26 11:37 PM

Any proof of this? We're living in an era when men have never been fatter.

How am I wrong when I haven't said anything about your lived experiences?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/26 11:55 PM

No, you're accusing me of being wrong about something I didn't say. Men certainly do those things more than women whether they've been told to or not. What are your opinions on why?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/26 10:11 PM

Did I say that?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/26 07:47 AM

Men also tend to like to tell you that you're wrong about your lived experiences even if they're the ones you're currently having. You shouldn't feel scared that he raised his voice. He didn't use a contemptuous voice when he was just talking to you. He's never inconsiderate. You're over-reacting by refusing to go somewhere private with a guy you just met in case he's a rapist. You were leading that guy on because that's the only way the guy would have gotten the wrong idea. I've had male bosses…

>An aeons old gender role involving protecting women from imminent violent threats, providing the bulk of resources so family doesn't starve, and doing harsh strength-intensive dangerous labor that women's bodies can't cope with, basically vanished overnight in the last 100 years. I have said more than once that most of the complaining is average looking people who don't want to date each other.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/26 02:52 AM
0

Because that's who the conversation is about. An 8/10 woman can be on a date with an 8/10 guy and when he goes to the bar to order a drink, some entitled 6/10 guy will try to hit on her, rudely.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 01:14 AM

There used to be a saying "A man chases a woman until she catches him." If the guy was as good a catch as he claims, it would be hard for him to be 40 while still being single. They're not saying that he can't get a woman his own age now, it's that he couldn't get one when he was 25-30. He only has success with dumb woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 12:46 AM
6

How weird that younger women don't want to be hit on by much older men, don't want women forced into prostitution and don't want to be cheated on. However, we also don't want guys we aren't attracted to hitting on us. Prove us wrong, stop and see if we complain.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 12:10 AM
4

But there are more men than women in the 'don't want a relationship' pool.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/26 12:04 AM
3

Then all those people would be in the 'want a relationship' pool. People in that pool aren't just going for anyone, they still vet but they are prepared for/want a mongamous relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 11:45 PM
4

No, because there just aren't enough guys who want to be in a relationship. If there are 200,000 single people below forty in a town and 80,000 women want to be in a relationship and 70,000 men do, then no amount of standards lowering will help. Only forcing men temporarily into commitment.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 11:00 PM

Yes, at some point, they can choose to settle with a cheater or similar. Have some kids then get divorced.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 10:44 PM

This assumes that there are equal numbers of men and women who want relationships. If 80% of women and 70% of men want to pair up, there are 10% of women who won't find someone.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 10:23 PM

How is it better that a woman who has just broken up with a guy stays single for three months instead of one month? To make random guys who she is not dating feel better?

/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/25 10:06 PM

There also used to be 'enforced socialising' a lot more. Did you want to spend Sunday visiting elderly relatives? No, but you went anyway. Same with Church, your mother's friends, your Father's volunteering, sports events. You ended up with some social skills by the end of it and maybe made a friend/hit it off with some other poor kid dragged along to the event/someone loitering by the snack table/having a smoke away from everyone else. I imagine a lot of people ended up paired and were now allo…
/r/PurplePillDebate11/11/25 12:50 AM

Nothing, you don't need to make a special law about it. It's already a crime but one where the courts obviously don't think it's worth pursuing. There's also already a legal method of obtaining justice. You can sue for slander if you want. But no one's making a special law for you because you think it's likely that you will get falsely accused of rape.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/25 03:47 AM

Perjury already carries up to 10 years.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/25 03:38 AM

As opposed to 'she was asking for it', 'we're still married, the divorce isn't final' or 'she just changed her mind afterwards', which have successfully convinced many a juror that rape didn't happen? It's harder to argue that the body isn't dead and they had to make it illegal to consent to being murdered so people wouldn't use that one.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/25 02:40 AM

Yes, I think you're reaching to try and make rape worth more than murder. And any other thing. And more than the guy would get if he was convicted.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/25 02:34 AM

As, as crazy as it sounds. The prosecution rate for lying on the witness stand is about 1 per million population. For anything.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/25 02:21 AM

Last time I looked into it, I found a person who faked their death and cost the govt millions in search fees and got under two years. I can't find it again but my googling can't even find someon who was recently convicted. I did find the below site which says that Colorado, a state of 5 million people, filed five perjury prosecutions in 2019 and Engald and Wales are 2-3 times that. There's a high conviction rate but looks like you can pretty much lie on the stand and claim afterwards that you we…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/11/25 12:33 AM

If lying that you saw someone commit a murder only gets two years, how can you justify more for lying about rape?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/25 11:23 PM

Because the penalties for lying in most other cases aren't extreme. Name the last time you heard of someone being imprisoned for lying under oath. Technically, you can get up to ten years. THe only people who get that are gangsters. The cases aren't usually pursued.

Also, i you want a woman in her prime, you have to be close to that. Average age difference for marriage is 2 years. You want a 23 yo, try not to be much older than 25.

Yes, at least half of the guys I told that I had a boyfriend would keep hitting on me. Not that it was a surprise to some of them as they would wait until he went to the bar and sit in his seat. And then ignore me when I said it was my boyfriend’s seat.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/10/25 12:27 AM

An important point, yes. Most of the time men hit on me I had a boyfriend. It did not stop at least half of them. If men kept to single women, that would be a start.

Maybe you should look up the definition of prostitution. But you sound like a guy who only spends time with women in pursuit of sex, so this would filter you out....SUCCESS.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/25 11:48 PM
1

No, it's caring for your own interests. If I like a guy but he has a reputation for cheating then it is wiser to walk away, as opposed to have sex with him, get emotionally attached and then get hurt when he cheats on you. It's better to delay sex and look for red flags.

So they say things? And you don't have to do those things if you don't want to? Like how I ignore trad guys who think women should get married in their teens and have six kids.

How do women define men's gender roles? A woman could be modern and want a traditional man but said man can say no, he wants a traditional woman.

Diminishings returns means that the difference between $230,000 and $130,000 is less than the difference between $130,000 and $30,000. Etc etc, $100,000 is pocket change to a billionaire.

Yes, there's pretty much a whole dating subset who date each other and aren't available to red pill guys or women. If that's your attitude, then just give up. It's not true. In Australia, we've eliminated the draft, moved to default 50/50 custody and started several movements for men's health, including mental health. Theoretically, even if all men were identical, there wouldn’t be enough women interested in being FWB for each man to experience it.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/25 09:19 PM

But there is a limit. If only 20% of women will have a FWB, that means that up to 80% of men won't end up with one, regardless of what they look like.

You're expecting women to lower ratings because men got fat. We're still using the normal rating, thank you. 40% of men are fat, 40% are getting a below average rating from me.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/09/25 05:28 AM
3

I look forward to seeing your stats. There are millions of marriageable men but less than the number of marriageable women. And every woman can't find a good guy based on just those criteria.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/25 06:38 AM
5

One study, once for one age group found that women cheat more. Every other study says it's men who cheat more. You said all women go for 15 of the men. And my point is that, there are not enough marriageable (ie. meet the minimum standards of not cheating, beating you or gambling all the money) to go around. Some women can do it, but not everyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/25 06:27 AM
5

That is just not supported by the facts. The facts are that men cheat more, are violent more and gamble more. More than 15% of men get married. And yes, looks count too but the general consensus is that women are the more attractive gender so that's going to further reduce the pool of marriageable men.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/25 06:10 AM
3

My point is that you can't. if there are say, 60 good marriageable women in a town and only 55 marriageable men, then 5 women are going to end up with a guy who cheats on them, hits them or gambles all the money away. There aren't enough good guys for each of the good women to have one.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/25 05:43 AM
4

I disagree. I think there are more marriageable women than men. Just the cheating, violence and gambling stats alone disqualify more men.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/25 05:32 AM
1

No one says that some women don't go for criminals, just no one we know.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/25 09:45 AM

This was before, raising women s from 60 to 65. Currently there’s a system where you get more money per week if you don’t start drawing the pension until 70.

They did this in Australia. They lifted the women's retirement age 6 months every year for ten years until it was the same as men's.

Didn't tall violent men run around killing other men and kidnapping women well before women had a chance to choose the man they wanted?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/25 08:45 AM

So he doesn't care who you are> Just that you look pretty? Sounds like a shit relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/09/25 07:42 AM

It's because height used to correlate with health to a much greater extent. Women who liked tall men had more children survive. And tall men were more successful warriors and kidnapped and raped more woman and had more children.

Most people wouldn't work their current job if they could get the money without doing the work. Nothing to do with kids.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/08/25 09:40 AM

I'd totally choose to stay home with kids if I was paid the same as working. What kind of question is that? It's not usually an option, you have to choose between SAHM and money. No really, even without kids I will call out of work for the rest of my life if someone sends me the money I would have earned instead. Also, my husband will too.But even if it was an offer just for me, he would accept me doing the housework and supplying half the money. The whole survey was stupid.

Yes, this sub thread is talking about biological clocks. Women have a physical one but men have to find a younger woman if they want to have children when they are older. Given a population with equal numbers of men and women, each childless woman leaves a man who must also be childless, or who must have children with a woman who already has children. Comparison is the thief of joy. If everyone you know lives in a one roomed farm house and has twelve kids and six of them die then a) that's just the way life is. No one to be jealous of. b) if you have ten kids but none die then you should be happy, certainly happier than your neighbour who lost all her children to the sweating sickness in a week. c) religion. They think they do. While men can physically father children much later, there are studies showing that men rarely become first time fathers after the age of 42. Lots of men overestimate the number of much younger women who will marry an older man and many men have missed out on children by waiting too long. Remember, for every childless cat lady, there's a male equivalent of a guy who has to marry a woman who already has children.

Right on the first page "Automatically many people think that abuse only happens to women, this is not always the case. Abuse can happen to children (including teenagers), babies, grandparents and men, it does not discriminate between gender, age, nationality or religion, it can happen to anyone."

Most people do. Every celebrity you hear about supporting disease research turns out to have a family member with the disease and I always await the coming out when they start supporting gay rights. Don't forget I had to raise four children during this time. And I do always tell people to see a solicitor, not listen to garbage like 'Men never get custody'. I do support charities as well. I used to collect for a male domestic violence shelter, but they stopped coming cross border during Covid, Bu…

My husband and I sued to prevent his ex moving away and taking his daughter with her. This was a landmark case in our state and has led to a situation where the custodial parent can't change custody just because they want to move. My husband and I paid for my son to sue his ex for visitation of his daughters and they are transitioning to 50:50 custody by January. That was $18,000 but could have been $0 if she wasn't dumb.

Doing something because your parents/society told you to is the lowest level of decision making. Hence people rebelling against their parents but often finding themselves agreeing with them later in life. They've taken their assumptions and examined them , instead of blindly accepting them.

Money is one thing but a lot of older people need caregiving. And for rich people, that can be four people a day with day/night shift, a nurse and some to do personal care. With so many older people, I can easily see conditions for poorer elderly people being minimal and lots of them dying early due to infections, choking and just bad levels of medical care.

There's a male loneliness eipidemic and part of that is that a lot of men just aren't very good friends. They aren't providing the emotional labour that men of ppd apparently do all the time. So it would appear that it's not one then the other, it's both sides where one person is giving and the other is not. /r/PurplePillDebate26/07/25 04:48 AM

I didn’t say they weren’t. Usually people post opinions asking for input. My input is that I think the women were honest and that it wasn’t ‘women are just prettier’ ‘ scoring system’ or ‘virtue signaling’. Fat men are not attractive to me . Take a large normally distributed group of men , make 40 percent of their pics look fat and that’s how I’m rating them. I don’t see a problem with this data at all. Sorry if your feelings are hurt. I don’t know why men rated the women so highly. Reluctantly …

/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/25 03:31 AM
6

No, because she can't date those men, she has been asked out by some guy who is pretending to be interested in marriage in order to have sex with her and she is limited in the number of dates she can go on. She doesn't have unlimited time. She might go on one date a week, 52 in a year but only two are suitable guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/25 09:38 AM

Mathematically, how are there more suitable men for each woman than each man? Especially by a large margin?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/25 02:35 AM

It's OP whose denying that this requires effort and is not a good thing. Apparently men would love to go on dates with women they aren't interested in having sex with. Or spending time with once they stop lying about how they love everything you like.

Does it? If there are say, 50 people in my area who would be compatible with me and the each have the same number of women compatible with them, then another 950 men trying to have sex with me by pretending to be interested is actually preventing me from meeting those men.

In that case working parents work two jobs, as they're sahp in the evening and mornings and working their normal jobs during the day. Which would not then be two jobs. One of the big downsides is that it is constant. Paying someone to do 8 hours of it means you are not doing the full job. And usually you pay them to do it somewhere other than your house so your house remains tidy.

No one is stopping that from happening. Some women don't want that. And maybe some of them do but don't want the man that goes with it. Maybe Sally Ride would have happily been a housewife to another woman but that wasn't a choice open to her. And for most of history she would have been blocked from everything except wife or nun. Even if 90% of women want to be housewives, why can't the last 10% do whatever they want? Odds are, they'll be mediocre parents anyway.

Let's assume that your premise is true. What does it say? It says that of a group of women who reproduced with tall, fit men versus a group of women who reproduced with pick up artists, the former had more and healthier children. Therefore it is better for women to have this preference. For society, about which red pill cares so much. It's the opposite of shallow.

/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/25 11:18 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/25 11:02 PM

You aren't trying to induce desire in her, you're inducing obligation sex.

Men never cease to surprise me with how much they want sex with women who don't want them.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/25 01:12 AM

Well it looks like no more sex. I've had my children, the only reason I have sex it because I enjoy it.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/25 12:38 AM

Well, I would have been had I not gotten married at 25.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/05/25 08:29 PM

It really needs people to add in their own stats. If I am a 26-31yo not obese unmarried woman of average height, those are completely reasonable standards, regardless of what percentage of people they account for. An obese woman over 50? Probably not going to find someone with those stats.

I hope you have learned to coexist in society without turning into a drooling idiot every time you see the outline of a nipple then, if you would prefer I phrase it that way?

Hopefully not at your job.

Same way that guys here insist that if men all improved, women would only want the top 10%. Firstly, men haven't all improved and secondly, men are fatter than they have ever been so thirdly, you can't prove that.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/25 09:39 PM
2

Yes, so eyes on your work instead of nipples.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/25 09:35 PM
3

You then went on to say that you stared at nipples and camel toes for eight hours a day.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/05/25 04:27 AM
2

You are claiming that 'softer features' does not affect 'handsomeness'.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/25 10:51 PM
1

I think it's gone beyond that. There was a big religious push for women to be married and have children to be thought an adult (men too, to a lesser extent). Now, it push comes to shove, I think a larger than expected group of women would choose staying in their parents house over an unhappy marriage. Might as well just be a carer for your own parents instead of a man and his parents.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/25 10:16 PM

Did you ever think about looking at your schoolwork instead? And do you think those girls were regularly having orgasms from that sex with teenage boys?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/25 12:36 AM

The only women I knew who married older wanted to get married and have children right away. So they chose between waiting for younger men to grow up, single motherhood or marrying a 5-10 year older guy.

/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/25 07:38 AM

No. It's factual. More couples list the man cheating as a reason for the divorce than the woman cheating. It's only a manosphere argument that women file for divorce frivolously, instead of because they are the injured party. And don't forget violence, drugs and gambling which are also cited as reasons for divorce from men. Unless you are claiming that happy men are cheating and violent. I'm also intrigued by your claim that women initiate marriage. A woman proposing is still unusual.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/25 11:14 PM

Not sure of what your point here is. I’m still married.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/25 10:11 PM

Men cheat instead then the woman files for divorce and they can blame her.

So don't care. But how it is possible mathematically for men to have what they want, several sex partners, then marry someone with a low N count?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/25 02:11 AM

Interestingly, the gap between the two dropped from over 14% to only 10%.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/25 01:54 AM

Darn. I wanted to use this one "Most adults born in 1940-1944 were married by age 25 (79.6% of women and 65.3% of men)." to ask why no one of this board complains about the obvious male loneliness epidemic in under 25 yo men in the sixties and why it's the fault of Tinder.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/25 01:53 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate13/05/25 08:08 AM

There have to be upsides as well as downsides to be a privilege. Beauty is a privilege and the downside is all the guys pestering you for sex. The guys pestering you for sex are not a privilege.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/25 11:37 PM

Money has an upside as well as the down side. So does celebrity. Men after casual sex have no upside to a woman who does not want casual sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/25 11:23 PM

So you are claiming that they are matching men who are good and compatible men but not dating them?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/25 08:39 PM
3

So these women are going on dates with ltr oriented guys but have not managed to get into a ltr? Or are the guys just saying they want a ltr?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/25 08:06 AM
0

You're comparing two different scenarios. The equivalent of a guy with zero matches is a woman with no matches who would consider having a ltr with her. The equivalent of a man who gets five matches a month is a woman who gets five similar matches and 495 men who are after casual sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/25 07:32 AM

If I don't want it and it actually wastes my time it's as much a privilege as salespeople accosting me at the mall.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/25 12:11 AM

Some women do, but as someone who doesn't, it's not a privilege. I don't know any women who 'changed lanes' like that. I know a few who married but they married ex-fuckboys.

It's literally irrelevant whether she sent them to her boyfriend or someone she liked or the newspaper. >women are falling for handsome badboys and it's quite literally ruining their lives because evil spreads Action "women are falling for bad boys" leads to "evil spreads" which is a LOVELY diffusion of responsibility, then a girl is stabbed. If only she hadn't sent her nudes then some guy she never dated wouldn't have killed her.

Marriage covers a multitude of sins. My uncle had an emotional affair with a woman who married young, had her two children and then decided she had missed out on fun.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/25 09:29 AM

Luckily, however, there are lots of men to choose from, so if I accidentally was too harsh with my vetting, I still found someone. Significant anniversary coming up soon.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/25 08:31 AM

Yes. And it's the fact that you think this way about women is what makes you an undesirable husband. Just the thought of having to pay someone to pretend to want to have sex instead of them actually wanting it is really gross. You just aren't bothered by the fact that the woman you're with is just wishing it was over? Gross.

I mean, I've been to a time share seminar and not bought a time share. The guy was not upset. He told me he sells to 40% of people, and that covers the free tickets they give out at Vegas. A place I spent a week without putting spending any money on gambling.

Daddy's girl does tend to have a spectrum from healthy to weird whereas Mummy's boy is an insult. A man having a good relationship with his mother is a good thing and it is phrased that way, not Mummy's boy. Apart from anything else, calling a man a boy is an insult before you add why while calling a woman a girl is less so. Daddy's Little Princess indicates a more spoiled outlook.

This is because males of most species don't raise the young. If your only investment is a few minutes, you don't care. Men get to be choosy because they help raise children.

I didn't really get from your post why, if both people contributed to, for example, buying a house, the one who is unfaithful should get less than 50% of the value. But, for the argument, how much less? A percentage, a flat amount, varies depending on how attractive the affair partner was?

If a couple get married, both work and they live together so they both benefit with lower house payments/rent, then they divorce, why would infidelity come into it? And if it did, more men cheat than women which is likely to be why it became irrelevant.

Do they date men for that reason? It’s the male thirst for sex that makes dating so lopsided. If men were dating in a situation where that wasn’t a possibility they’d be choosier with their time.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/25 01:38 AM

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Western_European_marriage_pattern On average first marriages took place around the middle twenties for both genders, with men marrying at slightly older ages than women, and only setting up a nuclear household when they were financially stable enough to care for a household, all of this preceded by time working as servants, farmhands or apprentices. Also, a significant proportion of women married after their twenties and 20–30% of women never married

/r/PurplePillDebate17/01/25 08:47 PM

Firstly, yes, that is my point. You have told women what you are looking for so they tell you what you want to hear. Women don't make such a fuss about it, they let men brag and then tell them there's 'no chemistry. Secondly, the average for women is between 4-7, so you are just mindlessly repeating a misogynistic joke with no basis in fact.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/25 07:44 PM

Yes. Don't tell men what your deal breakers are. They'll just lie to make it seem like they are a suitable date.

It's a really weird argument. Who gives up something they enjoy? I still eat chocolate all these years later.

That depends on the woman. I am not into sports but I like car guys. I married a guy who played cricket and has a physical job rather than gym.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/25 08:01 PM

Don't forget, Chad just naturally looks that way, he certainly doesn't play sport or go to the gym. Simultaneously, it's unreasonable for red pillers to lose weight and get fit, that's a mammoth undertaking that takes years and costs thousands of dollars.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/25 04:04 AM

Usually the opposite gets argued here. As an example of how women have everything.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/25 04:45 AM

Also, I meet guys so I'd have to basically be in a small town and get no interest from men for several years to be convinced of this.

I love children and always wanted them. So it would definitely be the old guy. I don't know about marrying him before 25 though. I'd have to be convinced that there was no alternative first.

Jack and the Beanstalk, Aladdin, Puss In Boots. Quite a lot of fairytales have the male protagonist, a lowly third son, marry a rich beautiful princess instead of earning money.

Pretty much. You want to land between stingy and spendthrift Rude and doormat Loner and 'can't be lone ever'. Obsessive and 'no follow through'. There's a reason well rounded is a compliment.

I have distinct 'type'. Guys who are attractive but fall outside that type I don't feel attraction towards although I can see that other women would find them attractive.

I just said I wouldn't date overweight men on another thread and have downvotes.

Women have the advantage of easy casual sex BECAUSE they want it so much less than men.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/12/24 02:09 AM

A cheap revealing dress will get you some casual sex but if a woman is after a ltr, it won't help and most of those matches will be useless or worse than useless.

My sister is just a bitch and it always cracks me up that red pill men think she should be encouraged to marry one of them. Talk about a self own. Otherwise, I don't know many. Any party girls I know either married or are single mothers. They got the parts of life that were important to them.

No, it's still a rejection, it's politer and comes sooner, and no, I don't really want the guy, it's step 1 in the whole process. When did I say I accept mediocre attention? This is actually a way to attract the guys you want, it's a dacne and you want someone who is a good dancer.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/24 09:30 AM

Yes, but if he has a girlfriend, I've interrupted his night when I could have left him alone. He's not interested and the earlier you find that out, the better for both people. Apparently 50-70% of interactions are actually initiated by women but there are boorish men who just wander round interrupting women who are flirting with someone else. These are usually the guys women complain about. You've been eyeing up a guy for a good fifteen minutes and just as it seems to be getting going, some guy…
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/24 05:44 AM

No, it's polite and subtle. It's much nicer than some drunk guy you don't know interrupting your fun night out to ask you out, get pouty when you say no, demand an explanation and then try to convince you that your reason isn't good enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/24 05:32 AM

You use this strategy with people you don't know well so it's low investment. If he doesn't react he's either not interested in you specifically, not interested because he's gay or in a relationship, who knows? But you don't really care. You could try escalating a little but it's usually easier to just try a different guy.

It is available to low income men. You present your case to a solicitor and if it is reasonable then your legals are free. My son is involved in a dispute with his ex now. She thinks she will receive Legal Aid because she is low income but his solicitor (who works for Legal Aid) said what he is asking for is very reasonable so Legal Aid will not waste money for a case which should be solved in mediation. They would take his case if he did not earn so much money. It's all gender neutral in Austra…
/r/PurplePillDebate15/12/24 04:06 AM

Why do we need to if what we're doing works? She indicates interest, he either responds or ignores her. She can escalate or move onto someone else. Women understand that turning someone down is an awkward interaction that people don't enjoy even if the reason is that they are gay, in a relationship, not into that person in particular or about to move overseas. This avoids that.

Reearchers sat in bars and watched and women do initiate interactions with men 50-70% of the time. They don't walk up and ask them out, but they do make eye contact and smile so the guy comes over. Apparently this is invisible to men on this sub but it does happen. My husband outright says that he wouldn't have asked me out if I hadn't made it clear the answer would be yes.

Look at what happens when men lose their jobs. If the only thing you are contributing to a relationship is money, then you'd better not stop contributing that. Lots of men are a net negative to housework and emotional life.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/11/24 05:00 AM

I just don't believe that. Men cheat more, are violent more, gamble and use drugs more. There are therefore more marriageable women than men. Women as a group can't be spoiled for choice, although obviously some women can.

It's been practiced for years. My mother never dated again after her divorce. She told people who asked that she was done with men, but didn't make a big deal of it otherwise. I admire your ability to predict relationship development. If I had been going out with a guy for a month I would not accept a date with another guy. Now I can tell you have never been to court. You don't just hand evidence to the judge. Your lawyer charges you to see the evidence, cross examine you, tell the judge in court and defend it from the opposition. Is the image dated, has it been interfered with, does it actually prove cheating or just a kiss/handhold, was it taken after you two split up, does your ex claimed that you said you wanted an open marriage just to produce this evidence.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/24 07:10 AM

Yes, you have the money to spend over $100,000 on a divorce, especially if you receive more of the assets. Most people are going to spend more on the lawyer than they save with half their house equity.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/24 10:39 PM
44

My husband and I went to court for three days over custody of his daughter. It cost $80,000 and that was back in the 90s. For most people, having to pay a private detective and a lawyer to prove the infidelity is going to take most of their assets, punishing both parties. Which is, in fact, one of the reasons people stayed married before no fault divorce. They couldn't afford to divorce. Rich people might care.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/24 09:14 PM

Which, although it doesn't sound like much, does account for a 20% difference. If women who are 28 and 29 are dating men who are 30 and 31, then that's 20% of women in their twenties.

I'd be for this as long as it was equal. With adoptions there is a system in place where a replacement parent is found and vetted for suitability and they sign paperwork where they agree to care for the child as a parent. Men should be able to locate a suitable man who wants to be a father to their child, get him vetted and allow him to take over their role with visitation and child support. Good luck.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/24 10:26 PM

This applies for some people not all. We were super stoked when my cousin separated from her loser husband a few years ago. Disappointingly, she turned up with him at a family function, all over him and flashing a new ring he bought her like she was proud of it. We all got drunk and avoided talking to him. I agree, however, there are people who still look down on divorced people and proudly show off their horrible marriage.

Mostly they were guys at Uni but not ones that I really felt a spark from. The first few months were okay with just blah dates but after that they started getting worse. Possibly gossip got around and people thought I was having sex with all these guys. Possibly I was not being excited about dating anymore. In the end I gave up and said no to a family friend who asked me out and it was very awkward. I'm fairly sure he was autistic, he couldn't stop saying the brand of the car that was passing as…

I actually did this. I heard a guy complaining about how hard it is to ask women out and decided that for a year whenever I was single, I would accept if a guy asked me out. I lasted nine months and it was the worst year of my dating life. Maybe getting to know guys works for some women but not me. I also got married to my husband on the first anniversary of meeting and we have been married for over 20 years.

Some guys do. A hot topic my first year at Uni was one of the guys having sex with an ugly girl. I never saw the girl in question but guys were giving him shit for weeks and talking about the situation when he wasn't there.

Lots of these women come from abusive homes so their intuition is working fine. It's just badly calibrated.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/24 08:31 AM

Gradually build up a rapport with a woman within the spaces that you navigate in. This is all perfectly okay, and nobody will ever have a. problem with it as long as it’s not sexualized until much further down the line. People meet like this all the time at my gym.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/24 08:22 AM

So in addition to the above, they have to be attractive and round your age?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/24 09:07 PM

A couple from a similar socioeconomic group get married, throughout the marriage, the wife works more, see post in this very subreddit. This is great for the husband whose health is better. He cheats and they split the marital assets, which is all likelihood, she paid half of, as she also worked, not many SAHM these days. So, very unlikely to get spousal support. Men who ask for custody get it, so he probably pays a token amount of child support $345 a month or something, which no doubt contribu…

If a woman is getting interest from ten men a day and she is interested in at least some of those men, she doesn't need to reject them and seek out other men who haven't approached her. The only women who need to consider it are women who aren't interested in any man who approaches them, or one who is struck from afar by a specific guy.

Read the title of this thread for that. You have to match in looks AND other factors like social skills and personality. Most women take time off when they have a baby and it's reflected in their lifetime earnings. The care is counted if they send the baby to daycare but if they stay home, that care vanishes into statistics. It's also more common the more children you have. One child, it works to send them to daycare, two or more and you're going backwards unless you have the type of career where it's necessary not to take too much time off and it's worth the financial hit to leave them in daycare.

/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/24 05:08 AM

Generally, society thinks that the people whose dna made the child should take care of it. Women are expected to look after the child even if it was born from rape. The main exception, adoption, involves finding someone to assume your responsibility to the child.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/24 04:57 AM

As opposed to getting old/after divorce, when women choose singledom at far greater rates than men?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/24 04:49 AM

Pretty sure there' research showing that when they outnumber women, men do change to be what women want and when they outnumber men, women tend to just get on with life and fend for themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/24 04:48 AM

These are the reasons women give for divorce. And women are more likely to treat mental health issues, not more likely to have them.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/24 04:46 AM

Actually i think that if you put a woman in the shoes of a man for one year, she would probably fall in depression and kill herself. I doubt it. women are way more resilient than men.

/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/24 01:24 AM

I'm not excusing it. It's really hard for me to get my head around as I find meeting new people to be unenjoyable mostly. But it is worth money so I could see that as being a reason for people to do it, rather than, for example, boredom. I'd much rather be bored.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/24 01:12 AM

People do things for money all the time which they don't enjoy. They could think of it more like a second job than an enjoyable activity.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/24 12:40 AM

It correlates highly with dark machiavellian traits. So, that leaves 70% of women who have never done this, and those re probably the ones you want to actually date. No one denies there are unsuitable people in the dating pool.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/24 12:20 AM

No, actually, that why the difference in how many women file for divorce. Those are the reasons they cite.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/08/24 12:04 AM

Cheating I can understand. Gambling and drug use are more common in people who are unhappy with their lives so I disagree. But I'm open to reading any studies you might have.

You're assuming that free meals are great. A meal where you awkwardly converse with someone you have nothing in common with, the guy boasts incessantly or makes continual sexual references are awkward and not fun. Then you have the whole 'exiting gracefully while he tries to grope you and/or convince you you to have a second date' and the evening in general is not fun.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/08/24 11:57 PM

Men cheat more, gamble more, use drugs more and are violent more. Just using these four criteria, there are clearly more marriageable women than men. Add in the fact that men want casual sex more, it does suck for women who want to get married. There are a lot of bad actors pretending they want a relationship when really they just want sex and not enough good husbands to go around. Then, you can add in the risk of sexual assault and dating can be really crappy.

The one near me has a lot of machinery that is expensive to buy, like wood turners and welders etc. The men are allowed to book in time on it. They can make things for themselves, there's no obligation to do stuff for free but I guess after you have made pens/bookcases for all your family, you need something to do with the rest of it. They also have people who collect free wood etc from Facebook.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/24 12:35 AM

Finding her attractive is not feelings.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/24 10:38 PM

Did he go to be bed one day thinking of her as a friend and get up the next day fully in love? And then decided to tell her his feelings on the morning of her wedding? There should be a point where he can ask her out unless she is in a relationship, where it would be inappropriate to do so. Also, everything MistyMaisel said about checking for indications she likes you and not proceeding if she doesn't show any.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/08/24 10:17 PM

The opposite can work. If I'm reading a book (therefore annoyed at being talked to), I put the book down, close it, turn to face them and look them directly in the eye and say "Sorry, what did you say". Then I let them talk without responding. It puts them on the spot and it's really awkward for them. One day someone will be encouraged by this but so far, no. It's less of a conversation and more highly judged public speaking.

shallow: not exhibiting, requiring, or capable of serious thought. Men choosing women based on looks alone or by not caring about their personality would in fact be much more shallow than a woman who has a long list of factors which would make her potential husband a good choice, But generally red pill thinks women are choosing Chads so why would the guys who would be in demand -fit, financially stable, attractive, sociable, competent, well-adjusted men be choosing ugly, obese, unfeminine women?…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/24 09:38 PM

My point is that humans aren't that type of animal. The males invest in child rearing so are choosier than the males of a species where they don't. Men hear a theory they like and keep repeating it but that's true for species where the male bolts after mating.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/24 09:33 PM

Not sure. There's a toothless old lady equivalent. That handsome young peacock could be getting interest from a peahen in her last year of egglaying who is too slow to avoid being eaten and the eggs will be left unattended and the chicks die. Ever seen a peacock turn a peahen down?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/24 09:31 PM

The lions don't raise the cubs, so they have little investment. Humans help with raising the children so they care if the mother is a crack whore (generally).

A fuckton. Why?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/24 09:22 AM

Men cheat more, gamble more and use drugs more. Even just using those three criteria, there are obviously more marriageable women than men.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/24 11:15 PM

Most of them probably wouldn't if they had better men to choose from. Some would, no doubt, as it would be all they know.

You have no proof of this apart from your own convictions. Women don't end up with more sexual partners than men, they add about one, from 4 to five. Men, at the same time lose one, from 7-6. So they are lying just as much. So the average is either 5 or it's accounted for by the fact that most surveys drop the results of prostitutes from the results and that accounts for the difference. Plus, if you were correct, women still aren't going to be caught by the new laws.

/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/24 11:51 PM

Such oppression. Well, he's 52 and seems happy enough with the "Keep healthy and get laid often deal we have. He doesn't actually want to be fat.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/24 08:15 PM

I'm not saying that men don't work hard, but harder than ever is a stretch. I've never been on Tinder but I am married and still have regular sex with my husband. Maybe it's because he's not fat.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/24 08:59 AM

Men work harder now than they ever have Men work more now than when they all plowed fields by hand/worked as a blacksmith or hauled in fishing nets?

I'm surprised that 39% of men in college thought negatively of the pursuit of power and money. They're just there for knowledge I guess?

It's not a coin toss. It's highly related to what kind of person you are and whether you are capable of sustaining a healthy relationship.

Apparently it works too. I used to have a study which said men who spent more on dates were more successful.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/05/24 08:35 PM

The point is that there aren't enough men for every woman to have one. A certain percentage will go "I must have a man" and focus their efforts on that and others will go "Well, I guess I'm never getting married, time to get a degree and save my own house deposit."

So men should enjoy sex with an ugly girl just as much as with a supermodel?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/04/24 09:33 AM

My husband and i spent three days without seeing each other in the first six months of dating. We talked on the phone while he was away. So, there is no limit if I like them. I have previously had a guy I went on one date with 'accidentally' run into me every day for five days, so I dumped him. Part of the difference being that I obviously liked this guy less but the other part being that I arranged to see my future husband every day instead of him weirdly stalking me.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/24 12:05 AM
1

Women absolutely all go after the same guy. The average guy gets a match a month. The average girl gets hundreds. Doesn't this show that men are the ones all going after the same girl?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/24 10:52 AM

Why are you halving it? You minus one from the other. There's a hundred men and a hundred women, 37 of each are in relationships with people in the same age bracket, leaving 63 single men. Seventeen of the women are in relationships with guys who are in the next age bracket, so all things being equal there would be 63-17=46 single women. But there are actually only 34 single women leaving 12 which we haven't accounted for.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 03:02 AM

It's not meant to account for them all, but the difference between 63 and 34 is 29 and this accounts for 17%, so there is only 12% left to account for.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/24 10:07 PM
0

What about them?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/24 10:45 PM
-1

No, 20% of women in their twenties. 20-29. Obviously, if you add the extra 2 years, it's just under 17%.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/24 10:41 PM
4

No, the average age gap is three years with the most common being 2, so 28 and 29 year old women, 20% of the group of 20-29 yo are dating guys in their 30s.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/24 10:23 PM
2

Then a few months after this, you have a free night. Netflix and a bag of chips, trivia night at the pub or a second date with the guy you went for coffee with three days ago. Which one wins?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/24 10:46 AM
3

This is hysterical. Give a guy who's not really anything special a chance and watch him hit you up for sex too.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/24 03:17 AM

So if thin 25 yo white women aren’t in Chads league, who is? Unless of course she is not very pretty, which is why I asked.

I am asking why the girl is not in Chad's league.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/24 08:24 PM

So, she's an ugly or average thin white girl?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/24 10:45 AM

a thin 25 year old white woman is going on a bunch of dates and not giving a guy a real chance to court her/get serious unless it's 6 figure chad. Who do you think she should be giving a chance to? Is she not good enough for Chad? isn't she a women at peak desirability?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/24 08:58 AM

It's very common in men. Not much choice left if you exclude them. Look at all the guys on this board, dismissing what women have to say. Then either being single or getting divorced.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/24 08:27 PM
5

They do, the man doesn't take them seriously until the break up. Then they try to negotiate, but it's already over. Like men who harass women for dates.

Yes, and if that guy is a rapist, he just got shorter and feminine and his victim got taller and muscly. So, now, for example, he's the average woman's height of 5'4 and she's the average guy height of 5'8.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/24 06:55 AM

I was assuming that women would gain an average of four inches in height while the men lose it, along with the associated musculature.

No, it's not. It's implying that victims of sexual assault are now suddenly bigger and stronger than their assailants.

A lot of people really struggle with imagining other people's perspective's too. Especially in the older generation. both my mother and MIL would buy eople things they liked because the concept of people liking things that they didn't was beyond them. I assume my FIL too but he never bought anyone a gift that I know of. So, if they didn't like someone, they were an asshole, not someone that a lot of other people liked. MIL is a christian so all non-Christians were assholes for a start.

21 non menstruating days of the month with maybe four of them in the fertile window. And 80% miscarriage rate before a pregnancy test will give you the plus sign. Stop putting words in my mouth. I never said a word about fat. But men think different things are attractive at different times and Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn are an excellent example of two different female forms who have been seen as attractive. Women starved themselves in the 60s to achieve the thinness of Audrey and Twiggy. At various times redheads have been seen as ugly and now they're considered hot.

Every study except one, which found that women in one age group cheat 1% more, disagrees with you. Regardless, women cite it as a reason for divorce more.

I didn't see a single study in your post. And there are precious few in the red pill subreddit last time I was there. It was a lot of unsupported statements taken as fact.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 12:54 AM

And I'm pointing out the flaw in their logic. They think women should marry a man like their grandfather, ignoring the fact that they have no idea how their grandparents sex life was. I know mine, my grandmother refused sex after the fourth kid for the rest of the marriage. They never divorced so by red pill logic, they were happy.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 12:53 AM
1

Presumably that they married over 30, you're their age mate and describe yourself as over 30, not over 40, so the marriage has ended in divorce between 31 and 39, max.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/24 12:39 AM

Lots of people on reddit have someone "refusing to sign the divorce papers", which they seem to think will affect things. Maybe it does, I have heard of places where a divorce takes longer if one person doesn't want the divorce.

No, it's because men cheat more, gamble more and are violent more.

In direct contrast to conventional wisdom and most economic models of marital age gaps, we present robust evidence that men and women who are married to differently-aged spouses are negatively selected. Empirical results show lower cognitive ability, lower educational attainment, lower occupational wages, lower earnings, and less attractive appearance among those married to a differently-aged spouse. These results, obtained using samples of first marriages and controlling for age of marriage, ar…

I already mentioned men and women cheat at around the same rate (under 50), so try again or prove me wrong. Around the same rate? So 5-10% more is just something to brush over. With women divorcing in 70% of cases, there's 20% differential to account for with four causes.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/24 06:14 AM
1

Why would filing stats be more equal? Men cheat more than women, they are violent more, they use drugs more and they gamble more. And lesbians divorce as much lower rates than heterosexual couples.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/24 03:23 AM
1

Not men vs women. The person who was cheated on vs the cheater. Why would you assume that the person who filed was the cheater? Or the gambler, or the spendthrift, or the violent one. Usually it's the victim who wants and files for the divorce. Not always. my husband's ex wife cheated and she filed for divorce six months later when she got pregnant by the new guy, but as a general rule.

Where did I blame my brother? It was his girlfriend who was friends with the other woman and who helped her. I just put in that he was a passport bro so you would now why he suddenly knew a recently widowed Fiiipina. The dead guy obviously made no accommodations for his wife after he died. No insurance, no house in her name etc. I guess she should be grateful for the free rent as red pillers say.

My brother is a passport bro. He and his girlfriend recently had to have another woman live with them for a week until she could arrange for a flight back to the Philipines. I'm pointing out that false accusations are, by default, rarely punished and that when they are, someone has to go to the trouble of suing to get that punishment. You are trying to lift 'false accusations of rape' above all other crimes. It's not really up for discussion. Most men know that if they want to be an active, involved Dad, they need to have kids before 40. Yes, a 60 year old might be able to impregnate a woman but if he actually wants to 'be a Dad' then he really has to get started before 40. Knowing when people are joking and the appropriate response is to joke back, not get angry. Talking to someone as though you are much closer to them than you are because you heard someone else do so. Noticing that you are boring your conversational companion and changing the subject or asking them a question. Not bringing up controversial subjects at a dinner party
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/23 05:59 AM

I used that figure because I once read an article that said in Victorian London, 15% of the women were prostitutes but 95% of women ended up married. As for your last claim, only in red pill land. N count of men and women is in the 4-7 range.

/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/23 05:39 AM

All it’s saying is that ideally, you’d have some women that you can fool around with, and a much larger group that are worth potentially marrying. How does that work numerically with equal numbers of men and women? If, for example 15% of women were the 'fool around with' type, then 15% of men either remain unmarried or marry one of these women.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/23 05:06 AM
