Exactly what I was thinking. The onus should be on them to become attractive to us if they want any attention, not the other way around. We don't have to deal with some loser's mental illnesses and insecurities by having society imposing it on us, which is mostly the norm anyway like he said (at least in my 3rd world country).

Imagine being this sad of a person. I bet even most men avoid this thing like the plague.

Imagine thinking that a woman's decade of hard work at the gym is for a man. I sometimes wonder if my eyesight is alright when reading this stuff.

My ex who passed away used to do this to me. Made me feel guilty about every little thing, even publicly humiliated me once to the point of tears. God rest his soul, but fuck him and his dumbass anyway.

I feel like you just narrated my past 6 months. Distanced myself with selfish, self-absorbed relatives who only contact me when they need a favor, and completely stonewalled old friends who wanted me to feel guilty for leveling up my life. Havent missed them a single day.

I've been in this situation though not this severely. Broke up with a guy 2 years younger than me and he just would NOT let me go. Not overbearing, but would pop up every once in a while, asking me to stay in touch, often keeping tabs on me. It didnt affect me much but it definitely was weird.

Ooof yes the "log kya kahenge" narrative. As if the "log" paid my bills and gave me free education.

I'm desi and every single married person I meet ask me why I'm not married yet. While they whine about how difficult their lives are. I'm 26 and I dont need this shit bhabhi.

My cousin is like this. Except instead of interrupting to get his points across, he'll start a brand new conversation right when I'm in the middle of a sentence or a story. It's so rude that it makes me want to pull my hair out. I've actually stopped trying with that guy because not only is he NOT worth my time, he's just a rotten cunt.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
