Good post…I’m working towards that myself now. I’m glad to hear everything is coming together. I try to keep a positive perspective on everything right now even though my quality of life has turned upside down.

I would prepare to go. I agree with a lot of the people about the “I don’t see a future” type comments. Quick story. My ex said the same thing to me about 3-4 times over the course of 8-9 months. It’s definitely a hard thing to do. It’s something I struggled with, and still struggle with at times. I see my ex almost everyday due to the kids, and seeing her walk around with and talk with the guy she had an affair with is absolutely a huge trigger. Some days are better than others. I try to keep things in perspective and realize that we both messed up in our relationship and are both to blame. I’m there for the children and the children only. I feel your pain. You want to get back at her and make her feel bad…I totally understand. But like everyone else said, it’s just not worth. Use those feelings as indicator to yourself that you’re still in pain and want closure. But the most important aspect is that you don’t need to voice those opinions and feelings to her in order to get closure. You can do it without hurting others.
