Sit next to the girl not across from her, create touch by putting your hand on her shoulder/back/thigh when telling a joke or when it would make sense, deep eye contact, after it's gone well and you've touched a lot and made eye contact compliment her eyes

I think that's my problem rn. I'm not setting enough tension and trying to be overly physical. My initial mistake was being platonic and boring, so I think I've been overcompensating by trying to hard and end up making out with chicks for super long so I think they're into me but I can't even get the next date lol

Yeah that's gonna be the next thing I focus on. Had the right idea to not make it platonic but I'm missing a step and overdoing it one way. I can't even lie, I've been in the same position where a chick is making out with me and I'm not even really that into it but I'm just going along with it. Being honest with myself that's probably what's happening

Yeah I'd love to hear your thoughts considering you're in the same boat. I'm thinking that we're overdoing it and just being too much. Probably too much sexual stimulation with not enough tension. Needs to be ideally a bit more tension with occasional hits of stimulation like kissing. If you just makeout for super long there's no tension, and she may not even be into it as much as you think but is just going along with it

Bro it's weird. I'll leave the date not even thinking about "if she likes me" because I take it as a given since we made out for a half hour but then I don't get a second date lol.

That's a great way of putting it. The tension is equally as important as the act. And I think that yeah, one way to create tension is even after the kiss, breaking off and talking/looking in her eyes for a few minutes before you go again. There's no tension if you're just making out for a half hour

Public but secluded, not in front of a ton of people (or really anyone). But still I realize yeah I went too far

Yes that's what I'm going to start doing. Kiss for a minute or whatever but then stop and chill. I was just thinking the more sexual it is for a long time the better, but yeah I can see how that's false now.

That possibly happened with one of them. We went far enough that I was thinking for the next date I had to invite her to my place. Before the first date ended she told me she wanted to see me again (without me saying it) but the expectation of sex might have scared her off Assuming you're in public, I think it's good to kiss and everything but taking it too far where you're all over each other for a half hour is too much

This is my exact story too. I started escalating way more, stopped having boring local conversations and started having personal input/short stories, that type of emotional stuff. Making out with most of my dates yet I can't get a second one

I think bottom line is I had the right idea to sexually escalate but I'm taking it too far. Don't need to be making out with her for 15 minutes to show I'm not "platonic"

Yeah 100%. I think bottom line is I had the right idea to sexually escalate but I'm taking it too far. Don't need to be making out with her for 15 minutes to show I'm not "platonic"

I think you nailed it. I know the last thing you want is to make it boring/platonic and non-sexual, so I think I got it in my head to go the complete and total opposite way to where I'm overly making out/touching and stuff with her to where it becomes overkill. Better to be sexual but keep it contained is what I think my mindset needs to be

Funny enough I'm not even necessarily after just sex, but I think you're onto something I'll tell you what. I think I got it in my head how bad being platonic and boring with no sexual spark is that I'm going too far in the other direction now and overdoing it on the first date. I was operating on the assumption that the more sexual it gets the better, but that's not always true

Yeah maybe that's what it is. I thought like excessive make out and touching and stuff was good and a sign she's into you sexually but maybe it's too much? Idk

Most men prefer feminine women which is completely natural. The masculine women and feminist men trying to rationalize it will never be able to change biology or negotiate attraction.

Ah gotcha

This struck home with the masculine women he's talking about it seems like. Most men prefer feminine women, just as most women prefer masculine men. Completely natural

They're completely set into the "traditional gender roles". American women are the polar opposite

They're much more feminine.

They've always been seen as masculine and only recently is that switching. Hence the stereotype of the sailor, drunk dude with a "tapout" shirt with tats getting into bar fights, NFL/NBA players, gang members, etc.

You're being intentionally dense. These are typical unpleasant behaviors associated with ""toxic masculinity"". They have always been seen as unpleasant especially in women.

It's interesting that half the negative comments on here are denying this is a fair representation of a huge percentage of American women, and the other half are admitting it is but they like it...

In Europe there is the option of a lot of women coming from traditional backgrounds that act way more feminine

It was probably over regardless but texting her again after just 2 hours didn't help. It's not uncommon for girls to take a bit longer than that to respond especially to the first message

I might start doing this. Also helps with the abundance mindset where you won't get too clingy with any one girl in particular

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
